Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

It's always a treat to eat at Qdoba. For some reason the chain just hasn't taken off like other burrito joints - which is a shame because it's better than most of them. Their queso is fantastic and goes well in the queso burrito or over their nachos.

When I worked at the Best Western on Howell Avenue, I got sick of sneaking soup and crackers to the front desk or eating the leftover dry muffins from our breakfast. (Sorry if I have tainted anyone's views of the food at BW.) Anyways, I was lucky enough to be real life best friends with the front end manager and he let me borrow his car for my brief, occasional 30 minute lunches. Layton is a sea of quick food. There is McD's, Burger King, Taco Bell, etc. And then there is Doba. Was I ever thankful for Doba. I came in so frequently that one of the AM managers knew me by face. That personal connection made eating fast food on break way more enjoyable. The guac was always awesome. It was clean and I absolutely loved the outside eating options at this location. If you are on Layton and you need food fast, this is your place.

Only 4 stars because it is always cold here. Food is flavorful and staff is happy and it appears genuine. Clean place too. Don't forget to get a rewards card. After 12 entrees the 13th is free. Great place for low cal meals. Routinely get naked burrito with pulled pork and still under 500 cals.

(please read in the voice of douche-bag Guy Fieri) Wow, this place is off the chain! When I'm out cruzing the highways and bi-ways for more great Diners Drive-ins and dives and this amigo gets the craving for something "South of the border" I know that as soon as I find a Qdoba, I'll be in flavor town!! The fine Hombres and Chiquitas at this location have been building as-you-like burritos since 2011. I know I can count on them to whip me up a burrito that is totally on point! The formula is simple: slide on down the line and tell them what you want in your burrito and whamm-o, your done! I personally love me a chicken queso burrito. Nothing like showing off my "spread legged burrito eating hunch" technique over a table as I shove the 1 lb flavor wrap of love into my food hole. Make sure to lift your elbows out as far as possible and be careful not to let those Oakleys slide off the back of your head! It's a flavor explosion that will make you run for the boarder! The last time I had a burrito this good, I was in the great Republic of Cabo Wabo tossing back a few shooters of my buddy Sammy Haggar's awesome tequila! Fiesta until you Siesta Amigos! Viva la Qdoba!

Fresh, fast food! The craft 2 menu is a great idea where you can get a combination of different menu items at one low price. The naked taco salad is really good. The queso is delicious. The staff is very upbeat and they seem to really enjoy people.
