I love my late lunches at IHOP. I also love to hit this IHOP after bar on the weekend, when I'm feeling like something with a little more substance than the offerings at the local fast food establishments. This most recent trip had my wife and I trying the new omelet sandwiches and sharing my favorite dish with the wife and the baby, strawberry banana pancakes. We are always seated and served very fast here, and this trip was no exception. The food was hot and delicious, and it was cheap when we got the bill. The seating is kind of tight for my 6'2" frame in this smaller location, otherwise I love it here and return on the regular.

Just stopped in for my niece's birthday. Despite limited seating, and our huge group, we weren't waiting a horribly long time. Drink orders were taken almost immediately, and our food came quickly. Our server was super friendly, and patient with us as we got lost in conversation again and again. My niece's face lit up as they brought out her ice cream dessert and sang to her. We had a wonderful time, and will definitely return.

The pancakes really are the best deal. Two of the white chocolate, peppermint pancakes, eggs and hasbrowns was only $4.99! These pancakes were so good and didn't even need syrup, in my opinion.

I should have known this place wasn't worth my time before we even sat down, the booth had a huge rip/tear in it over a foot long with no sign that anyone even tried to patch it in any way (duct tape, anyone???). Then after we sat down I noticed at eye level on the divider between our booth and the next one over had alot of dust on it, also had some "dust bunnies" to accent the look, yuck! The food and service weren't very good either, the waiter took our order and an omelette came to the table cold inside (obvious microwave cooking and/or frozen food), my order was wrong...I ordered grilled chicken in my salad and it came with breaded chicken (I even made a point of it to correct the waiter after he repeated it to me wrong right after ordering, he didn't write anything down). At that point we left, too much wrong with this place, if the dining room is even close to being as dirty as the kitchen then you might be in for a rough night after eating here.

I guess an IHOP is an IHOP is an IHOP! I went with a friend for lunch. I had the Spinach and Mushroom Omelette and she had the Breakfast Sampler. My Omelette was huge, but was almost all egg and had very little filling. I took about 2/3 of it home. It came with a Short Stack of Pancakes that were very good. I ate all of those! My friend's Sampler was a standard 2 egg combo that had 2 of just about every breakfast item on their menu. The restaurant is in a brand new strip mall, so it's very wheelchair accessible. Overall, this place is just OK. Average food, but lots of it!

I don't know where to begin. I guess I will start with when my husband and I walked in the door..... It was busy which wasn't unusual for the time we went there. We were seated pretty quickly although I would have preferred to wait a couple minutes for a clean table. The table we were seated at had crumbs on the table and the booth seat. There were also ants on the table as well. I asked to be moved to another table or have our table wiped off. They said the other tables were just as bad and they never did wipe off the table. While looking at the menu, our waiter was rushing us to order. He came by and asked if we were ready about 4 times in a 5 minute time span. After we ordered we waited quite a while for our food and when it finally arrived, the food was barely warm and we sent it back and after awhile we received our food and it was actually hot. When we went to pay, the lady who took our payment went from friendly to rude when we said no to giving to a charity that remained unnamed / unexplained.

First time visiting an IHOP in Milwaukee. Coming from Hawaii to Wisconsin I definately saw a price difference. Either way I've had an awesome experience with both locations. Definately the place was hopping! Busy Sunday. Waitstaff was attentive and provided great service. Food was good, expected it as it looked on the menu. The restaurant was clean and staff was working together. I recommend IHOP to anyone looking for a great meal anytime of the day.

Consistent IHOP experience - a huge glossy menu that's mostly focused on breakfast items but there are lunch/dinner meals in there too. Decent, friendly service. My breakfast was cooked exactly as I ordered it. I would return.

This is my son's favorite breakfast place. However, there always seems to be some problem every time we go there. One time, the cooks were changing shifts and our order got lost. This time it was moldy toast. And I ate some before I noticed it. The manager's response was to check all their bread. That's good. However, when I received my check, I was charged full price for our meal. I had them call the manager and he offered 20% off our meal and an "emailed" coupon for a future "free" meal. Do I really want to go back? Not really.

Went to IHop with granddaughters. Had my usual Eggs Benedict. What a let down. The sauce was"broken". Told the waitress & she was very nice about it & took it back to show the chef. Returned & informed me it came that way already made. She did take 3 bucks off my bill. Granddaughter had chicken tenders which were awful. Over fried & very hard to chew. Left most on the plate. Fries were nice & hot. Service was good but the food taste & preparation is going down hill.

When ever I am on the south side of Milwaukee visiting my mother (she is 83 ) we enjoy going to this Ihop for breakfast usually 2-3 times a month. Always had great service and wonderful food needless to say I recommend this place when my aunt and uncle were visiting with my mom on her birthday March 16th. When my mom returned home after dinner she call to tell me how terrible the service was the food was not prepared properly and when they tried to get service we're ignore. They were informed that they had a large party in back and short on help ( No excuse) to treat senior citizens this way. They also informed my uncle they didn't except credit cards strictly cash, when it is clearly marked on the door otherwise. I plan on calling the manager in the morning and express my disappointment they have now lost a very good customer and plan on using this and other social media to let people know what has happened.

Saturday was my monthly south side Railroad Club meeting and instead of heading to Andrea's on Packard, armed with a 2-4-1 IHOP coupon, I met my friend Robert at this IHOP just blocks from his home. I hadn't been to this location in more than three years and IHOPED it had improved during this time following a bad experience. Robert and I arrived just a couple of minutes apart before 5 p.m., and had no problem finding a table at this hour. We were soon greeted by our young server Saad who welcomed us and quickly took our drink orders. We both chose the Country-Fried Steak ($10.99) dinner which included soup or salad, choice of potato and vegetable and a slice of garlic toast. I had regular coffee and Robert Ice Tea, (each $1.99) with unlimited refills. The eight ounce Steaks were both good, but a dollar more and two ounces smaller then 2011. That you can blame on it being part of a national chain. When all was said and done there was a lot of food but without the coupon, this was just over $15 with gratuity apiece. Maybe I'm a little too frugal but IHOP is not worth this price range. Sure, they have a very extensive menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner selections, but there is a lot of local competition besides the Denny's and Perkins chains. Without the coupon, I would never have come. The restaurant was spotless and very well run. In fact when paying the check and giving a compliment about Saad's fine job, I was informed by the Manager that was his youngest brother and his middle brother was a part-time manager. At least this IHOP is in 'good' hands.
