Sometimes I feel like this is a desert spot instead of a breakfast spot. Everything is sooooo sweet.

I've never been to a IHOP before so I have no comparison but my first time impression was a positive experience. We were given a 5 min wait time on a Saturday morning and only waited maybe 4. We were sat in the back at a two person table. Not the best location but to be expected for the time of day. We were greeted promptly and served our beverages shortly after. Our order came out in a timely fashion and correctly!

We stopped at this ihop location on our way home from a day trip with our kids. My hubby and I have been to this location before so we knew the food quality would be up to par but today baffled us. Upon entering the resteraunt no one was available to seat us. Another customer nudged our waitress who was chit chatting with another couple. Her back to us. She quickly seated us and said she would be right back. We waited and waited. 15 minutes later she did return only to tell us she needed to check someone out and would be back, also Mentioning she was the only waitress on the floor. Another waitress Mia came over and took our drink and food order. She apologized for Monica taking too long. Mia brought our drinks and food out but didn't leave us with the coffee pot. No refills. I ordered the banana pudding pancake combo with eggs over firm and bacon. The pancakes were excellent. But the hash browns were so hard on one side that I peeled it off so I didn't break my teeth off. The eggs came as a thin scrambled disk. It was weird. We had to flag the bus boy down for silverware and the waitress asked us to pay our bill before the food even came. What resteraunt does this? The floors were filthy with food debris. Mia did save this experience by jumping in and takin over with Monicas incompetence. The kitchen staff was loud and screaming quiete a bit and our whole table agreed that we will not be returning.

This place is NOT good for kids!! While my husband and I were there, I heard one of the ladies in the kitchen laughing like a hyena so loud that it distracted us from our conversation. This happened so many times while we were there I lost count after 5. There was another lady who was working who was standing in the kitchen, and was swearing while talking to the guys working in the kitchen. She didn't seem to care that anyone could hear her. The food, however, was not bad. I was impressed with the size of my hot chocolate that I paid $2.19 for and I ordered their ham and cheese omelet which came with a side of 3 buttermilk pancakes. I definitely didn't need the pancakes because the omelet was so big that I took 1/2 of it home.

I have had three experiences here in the last few weeks. I wish this review could have been experiences like the first one with Jen as my server. She was pretty great. The last two experiences were not awesome or even okay. Jen was great. She was quick despite the breakfast rush and she was very friendly. I very much appreciate that I received my food exactly as ordered. I also appreciate that she always had a smile on her face. The other two servers were not so good. The boy server (I say boy because he seemed to be high school age or barely beyond it.) seemed that he did not care at all about his job or the happiness or satisfaction of his customers. He was at the very least aloof to any issues any of the people at any of the tables he was serving had. He was incredibly slow. The food came out imperfect and cold. We gladly would have brought this to his attention, but he had vanished until he came back with the check. The problem today was with a server that seemed either to not care about her tables at all or to not care much because she had a near-full restaurant. She paid us very little attention. She left a coffee urn at the table for me, but it had clearly come from another table as it wasn't full. The food was only okay, nothing to write home about, and nothing to kitchen staff should have any pride about. The real kicker for me was when I asked for a check, and a server bent over the table to draw a check mark on a napkin. Not cool. I always try to be friendly and polite, but that doesn't always get returned.

You know what? For what it's worth, it's okay. You aren't going to have a great experience here, and from the sounds of it, you might have a terrible experience....but mine was alright. Food is not great, service is definitely not great, and it's definitely a little more pricey than a Denny's or Perkins have been on my recent visits, but I didn't hate it. I made the mistake of ordering something that was a lunch food instead of a breakfast food....but it didn't kill me.

The place seemed fairly clean every time I have been there. The food has changed over time. A few years ago I was quite impressed because their prices have always been great for what you get. But the last time I went what was my favorite dish (chicken florentine crepes) were just such a disappointment. Only few of the staff behave professionally. Perhaps I'll try it again later on.

I was pleasantly surprised with my experience at this IHOP. I came in at noon on a weekday, expecting to encounter the lunch rush and I did, as this place was filled to the brim. I was seated right away, the waitress was took my drink order right away. As soon as she came back with the drinks, I ordered my food and expected to wait. Much to my surprise, less than 5 minutes later I had piping hot food sitting in front of me. It was so fast, I have to admit I had to peek into the kitchen and see if they had the meals ready made under heating lamps. I'm happy to tell you they didn't. And while this IHOP gets mad props for getting me in and out at lunchtime within 30 minutes. The infrastructure is where this location loses points. It's bad enough this is on the corner of two busy streets at one of the busiest intersections in the city.the parking lot is small and parking is even more limited due to the fact this is next to a busy McDonalds. People drive like crap and fly around this parking lot. Come in for a quick meal, if you can find the parking.

Wow. That about sums it up. I don't expect the best service after bar close, but I don't expect to see multiple (5) tables whose orders were taken after me get their order before me.And I never expect someone who got seated AFTER my order was taken to get their order before me. The server kept yelling to us from across the dining room. We were assured twice our food was coming out next. What a joke. She spent more time apologizing than anything else. The manager was very understanding and friendly and offered to take 20% off our bill, which the waitress already did. Despite the service issues, the food was, as always, what you would expect. Their Cinn-A-Stack pancakes are amazing.

Breakfast at 3am always tastes better for some reason. Due to a self enforced law, I would never come here during normal hours. Just be on your toes though, the waiters are never in a good mood past 12am... Just be nice to them and they will respect you, AND the food they serve to you.

Not typically a fan of breakfast only places, but this IHOP in particular really struck a chord with me. Maybe it was the fact that the staff was friendly, or that I was promptly seated? Perhaps it was the fact that my order was taken, not screwed up, and that my food was out before I knew it? Or just maybe it was that they refilled my drink before it ever became empty AND they were also pretty busy? They made my goal as effortless as possible: get something in my stomach, pay for it, and be out and onto bigger and better things without a headache. The ONLY thing that was slightly annoying was that the music playing was fairly loud, so I had trouble talking on the phone (looking for an apartment). Otherwise? Great experience, and I've been back a few times since then.

Placed a to go order and was informed that they had ran out of big boxes. How is that even possible? Dediced to go through with the order anyway. Big mistake. I ordered the stuffed french toast and he had the make it your way omlette. Arrived to pick up the order and the host is sitting in a booth with her baby. After she finally put her down she finally rang up my order. An order that was suppose to be ready in 10 mintues but wasn't. So after another 10 minute wait she finally brings out the food. The omlette had to be cut in half since it was too big for the small box which he had no problem with. He did have a problem with the slice of American cheese that was not melted all the way on top of the halves. After we got the order home I discover my hashbrowns were burnt on the bottom and that my french toast was not cooked all the way. Steer clear of this IHop.

Waffle was overcooked. Eggs were over easy instead of over medium. I asked for bacon chewy, it came crispy. It was a decent meal, typical for IHOP.
