Ian's Pizza. A staple in the diet of those roaming on North Ave; people that are usually drinking. Drinking pretty heavily to desire Ian's. I do appreciate the variety Ian's Pizza offers but the problem is that they make their pizza hours ahead of time and let it sit out for who-knows-how long. Every single time I have eaten at Ian's I get sick. The only reason I have gone several times, and experimented with this phenomena, is because my friends just had to get a slice before going home for the evening. If you have a sensitive digestive system I recommend avoiding Ian's like the plague. Although it initially tastes pretty good (usually delicious), it is not worth the unavoidable consequences....

Ian's saved my life! With my wife gone to Colorado for seven months of culinary school, I would certainly have staved without the ability to drag my sorry ass into Ian's for two slices on the way home. I've never gotten a bad slice, and I've run the gamut, but I must say the tomato with fresh mozzarella and bail pesto makes me want to cry like a little girl... So good. Thanks guys, I owe you my life.

This was one of the places that was on my "must stop" list whenever I went to Madison, so I was so happy when they opened an outpost up the street from me. Yes, Ian's is great at bar time, but that's not to say that they aren't great for lunch or dinner, too. As I'm not a bar go-er, I've never experienced Ian's at 2 am, but I am glad to have them as an option when I work til 10 pm and my only other quick option is McDonald's. Ian's is in our take-out rotation and 3 slices between the two of us is usually adequate. I love the Smokey slice, with chicken, BBQ sauce, cheese and thin strips of Ranch dressing piped across it. Love that they par-bake the pies and then finish up the slice for you when you order it, so that it's piping hot and crispy. I see others don't like this, but I don't see the downside. They're too busy for the pies to sit their too long and having a freshly hot slice is a bonus to me. Plus, they have a punch card and will give you a little box to take your slice to go, which is sometimes nice to escape the crazies inside. Biggest complaint is parking, as your only choice is street parking and at that end of North Avenue, there aren't a lot of options. If you're in the right lane looking in front of the store, it leaves you incapable of turning left on Prospect to keep looking. You're kind of in dead end no-man's land and the various one way streets can be a problem in terms of being able to circle around or park anywhere nearby.

This place was the perfect choice while waiting for my laundry. The employees were friendly and worked well as a team. I got the smokey and the bandit, which was chicken and bbq and some other yummy sauces. My partnah chose one with feta and mushrooms, the magic mushroom or something like that. We were both happy. Flavors worked well together and the crusts were the perfect amount of crunchy. Prices seem about average. They have beers and nantucket nectar! I'd go back. I just with they'd offered more with meat and veggies living together in a slice.

Ian's is going to get a 5 out of 5. Duh! Ian's is the sunshine peaking through the clouds on a gloomy day... It's also the place I end up after I'm shit-faced at 2 in the morning on North Ave. Whatevs, don't act like I'm the only one. And guess what, you can get pretty much whatever you want on a slice of, or pie of, your very own pizza! And did I mention that the staff doesn't care if your shit face wasted out of your mind while ordering and stumbling around pointing and laughing at all their insanely topped pizzas... Not sure what's not to love here... But really. Good quality. Decent price. Feed yourself, good for you. Feed your friends, the'll love you forever.

mmm mmmm MMMMMM! Ian's Pizza is SOOOOO good. SO GOOD. There is much creativity here in coming up with pizza types, and the menu rotates all the time. We go about once a month and are always excited about the new choices available. I really like the way they do salad too. You choose your own toppings, and they mix it for you. No matter what combos I've tried, it always comes out fresh and yummy. Service is always excellent, helpful and friendly. I love how they are supportive of the community as well. The only thing negative thing I have to say is....*sigh* ....this is where I show my age....they play their music too darn loud! I love their music selection, but, I don't like having to shout to have a conversation with someone that is just across the table from me. I wouldn't recommend it for large groups, or meeting up with people you haven't seen for awhile, i.e. where the point of going out is conversation. Staff was very nice about turning it down when I asked them to, and I observed this happening with someone else on another visit as well. Maybe the volume could go up at 9 p.m. and later, but maybe pipe it down a bit, while us old codgers are eating our dinners at 5:00 p.m.! :-)

You can't really go wrong with Ian's. That is, assuming you're just looking for pizza, particularly in slice form. While I wouldn't necessarily venture here for a full meal, it's a great late-night spot for ending the evening with a quick bite to eat. The slices are delicious and come in a variety of types (see other readers' submissions; my recent fave is the BBQ chicken); they also are sold are pretty reasonable prices. While I'm a total sucker for a good, greasy pizza, I feel better about life when I eat a hearty slice of Ian's -- solid crust, good balance of cheese, sauce, and toppings -- in general, not messy and easy to dive into. Additional perk: the people watching here is generally worthwhile, particularly at around 2 am on a weekend. Just get there slightly before that or you'll be standing in a long line praying that drunk hipsters don't fall onto you.

Different varieties of pizza, very delicious. Tried the mac n cheese pizza, and chicken pesto with penne, both were very good. Will definitely go again n try few other varieties as well. tried the spicy chicken taco pizza,it was delicious.

Most recently, I ordered the spinach artichoke dip pizza. The pizza was delicious and the sizes are big enough to serve at least two people. The variety & choices for pizza from pineapple to mac n cheese keep me enticed. The staff is organized with the orders and the customer line system. Best of all, the pizza is affordable and taste great whether one is drunk or sober. The delivery guys are quick, polite and are well deserving of tips.

Ian's has some crazy, unique, incredible toppings that you'll struggle to find elsewhere. So glad this place came to Milwaukee after it being a Madison-favorite in my college days. Ian's services Pizza by the Slice or you can order whole pies. Try the Mac & Cheese, Buffalo Chicken, Baked Ziti, Smokey (bbq, ranch and chicken), Steak & Fries, Taco, Cheesy Potato, Lasanga uhhhhh... you really can't go wrong with any slice. Except plain Cheese. That one is boring ;). They always have new flavors every month. The service is incredibly fast and the pizza slices are always hot hot hot out of the oven. Very affordable considering all the toppings you get on each slice - between $2.50 - $3.50 / slice. This weekend I picked up 30 whole pies for an event... they were all ready on time, all kept warm and the service was fantastic as usual. Ian's is a University of Wisconsin (Madison or now Milwaukee) staple that is a must-try for everyone that likes a good slice of pizza.

A solid four star choice. Yes, the sliced pizza is already baked and sitting on the counter for someone to come by and pick up, but this doesn't necessarily detract from the taste. If, however, you're not used to pizza by the slice, then I guess this would be somewhat disturbing. What I like about Ian's is the creativity in the toppings and the thinness of the crust. I'm a NY style pizza lover all the way. I can eat deep dish maybe once a year. The slices are a little greasier than I imagined, but I guess it would all depend on what kind of pizza you ordered. Obviously some will be unhealthier than others. Overall, a solid place for a quick pizza fix.

Ian's pizza is great. I was introduced to the one near Wrigley in Chicago. Unfortunately, I prefer the Chicago Ian's better (mostly because it's BYOB and a better atmosphere). Ian's MIlwaukee has a friendly staff, plenty of places to sit, and a good selection of pizzas.

I've changed my opinion of you, Ian's Pizza. After reading an article in the HuffPo where you were featured, I decided I would give you a try for some carryout. To my surprise the pizza was five kinds of awesome and huge to boot. I'm still not a fan of the way they reheat their slices, but after talking to a few people I was told that's how they do it in New York. I suppose to some people that is an automatic win in any food-related debate, since New York is apparently the flagship and origin of everything, ever. I'm still not sold on it, but their whole pies are great and I now consider myself a fan.

Have gotten Ian's many times both hammered and sober. As expected the pizza never disappoints, however when I find myself there late on a drunken night the staff can be difficult. Two employees that work majority of the weekend nights take it upon themselves to make you feel like an idiot while going through the ordering process. It doesn't help that they feel like they are entitled to your respect when they give you none. New staff to take orders on weekend nights would make late night food adventures much more enjoyable.

Do you get drunk a lot?! Do you like to witness ridiculous moments of debauchery at 3 AM on a Saturday night?! Do you just want to be engulfed in chaos?! If so, you're gonna like, no wait LOVE Ian's pizza. Truthfully, I have never been there while sober, and who would. You get more then enough dose of their pizza if you go out partying in Milwaukee... Slices are reasonably priced for the amazing goodness that comes out of their oven. You can choose from a variety of choices, arranging from mac and cheeze to its so good pasta chicken pizza. It is also always fun to see the real drunk people make fools out of themselves, always some drunken guy hitting on a girl or just causing a scene. Ian's pizza is definitely one of those things you need to experience at least once in Milwaukee. Oh yeah, their pizza is alright. Three stars on the quality. Five stars on the experience.

Being a Milwaukee native, and also a former Madison citizen, I have always been a fan of Ian's. It's a higher quality of pizza, for cheap. My favourite was their brownies, which they discontinued BUT I can still order them from the local bakery they ordered them from, which is nice. The steak and fry is to die for...whenever I am feeling fat or hungover, this is the place to go.

  • Sadie T.

This place gets 4 stars because it is convenient pizza by the slice at a reasonable price. The slices are gigantic. Quite a large selection. And salads (made to order, lots of add on choices) for healthy eaters. The pizza isn't the greatest I've had, but it is pretty good, definitely in the top tiers. Would beat Pizza Shuttle any day, but I like thin crust and I think Pizza Shuttle tastes like bleach.

I'm a fan of Ian's Pizza in Madison and excited they opened one in Milwaukee. I went pretty early in their opening and since class hadn't started at UW Milwaukee, I think they were trying to not make too many pizzas - but they still had a good amount to choose from. Great addition to North Ave.!

  • Stephen M.

Friggin love this place! It's around the corner from my favorite bar, open late, always fresh and decently priced. Try everything... Mac n' cheese, steak and french fry, chicken taco, bacon chicken ranch, etc. I can't do this place nearly enough justice. I've just never been there before midnight...

Delicious! I went to Ian's on Saturday night, got a couple of slices of the spinach & artichoke pizza and, aside from a couple of issues, I was very impressed. Here's the breakdown: Pros: 1. Freaking delicious pizza. So good that after I finished my slice, I went back up to the counter for another. I walked out hurting because I was so stuffed with pizza. 2. Great staff. The guys behind the counter were super friendly. They were ready to explain all of their pizza options (no matter how many times I asked), 3. I L-O-V-E variety. And that's what Ian's seems to be all about. I can't wait to go back and try new slices! 4. Price. $3.50 for an über slice of unique pizza? I'll take two, thank you! Cons: 1. The pizza sits out (I don't know exactly how long, could be 10 minutes or 10 hours, not sure). But in their defense, after my slice was heated up in the oven, it still tasted PERFECTLY fresh. So haters can shut up. (I'm so tough) On this note, don't expect to walk up to the counter and get your pizza right away, it needs to be heated first. 2. I was a little disturbed with the fact that they handle the pizza with bare hands. I konw that's the way food was handled for years before the over-the-top sanitary police enforced the use of plastic gloves. But in this day and age, I was taken aback just a bit. It's not the worst thing in the world at all and I wasn't really grossed out or anything, but I was surprised.

I had a slice that my wife brought me home at bar close this weekend. I was sober. I have had Ian's a couple other times, but normally after a hard night of drinking. When drunk, this pizza is pretty good. When sober, this pizza is average quality, at best. I like the idea of the off the wall pizza combinations, but in practice, I just don't think it is very good. I also don't like the idea of the pizza just sitting out all night waiting for someone to order it. I would hate to get the last piece of anything! I like unique food, and I want to like this place, but for what you pay, I say go to pizza shuttle and get a decent piece of pizza.

Excellent crust! Classic selection and rare combos. Good stuff. Seating is limited. Fine and dash.

  • Erin B.

Does anyone ever eat Ians pizza when sober? I seriously doubt it. Ian's is ok. I mean, it's pizza meant for drunks. I'm not sure what else to say. I'm sure those things sit out for hours (possibly days) with congealed Mac n Cheese or lasagna or whatever on the top and someone puts it in an oven for 90 seconds and brings it back to life. But I've only eaten Ian's when tipsy so I can't really say I've cared all that much. The decor is basically like a college dorm room lounge and I'm pretty sure I hate myself every time I go in here but there is Mac n Cheese. On a pizza. So yeah...

The 2 "Meh, I've experienced better" rating is the perfect way to describe Ian's Pizza. There's a lot of variety to the slices, but they definitely aren't the freshest slices of pizza around. They sit around on display for what appears to be a few hours, and when re-heated there is no moisture in the pizza (dude, just look at the pictures). As a result, every bite is crunchy. I don't mind that at for the pizza crust, but it's a little strange when you're eating the main part of the pizza and you keep getting a crunch. It feels as if you're eating a store-brought thin-crust pizza that's been sitting in the oven 10-15 minutes too long. Additionally, many of the slices don't have much by the way of sauce. A cardinal sin in my book as I feel it's the most important part of the pizza. The philly cheese steak slice I had didn't have anything, while the BBQ burger had a fairly sweet BBQ sauce. Look, the food is okay here. I appreciate the novelty of their variety, but different and good are two different things. I'm sure like all mediocre to acceptable food, it tastes awesome at 1:00 am. I just don't think that it's worth the hype that many of you UW-Madison alums give it, especially when Zaffiro's is several blocks away. And just to make you Ian's fanboys even madder...I'd rather go to Pizza Shuttle. Good night, and good luck.

The most overrated pizza place I have ever encountered. Pizza has been sitting out, not fresh, lukewarm and most of all flavorless. The Mac and cheese everyone raves about it stale tasteless noodles thrown on top. Go to pizza shuttle if you want Mac and cheese. Ian's is what happens when you let 95 pound Madison hippies decide what good pizza is. I've been maybe five times to both locations and have never left without being disappointed. Overrated is the perfect word. Unfulfilling is close.

If AJ Bombers is the master of creating custom burgers, then Ian's is the master of creating a custom pizza pie. The first time I walked in I saw pizzas offered by the slice, which is great because if you're just stopping in on a lunch break by yourself you neither have the time or the appetite to order an entire pizza. But 2 slices at the right size makes for a filling meal without feeling sick. I'll be the first to admit, I was hesitant to try certain pizza slices, like the Mac n' Cheese or the Buffalo Chicken and Ranch pizza. BUT, I'm glad I did, the Buffalo Chicken and Ranch is my favorite slice by far! Normally, I hate mac n' cheese, but on a pizza, it's an amazing combo. They also serve up the traditional mushroom, pepperoni, or sausage slices too. The slices are pretty big and the price isn't outrageous. Ian's is also open until 3am, making it the perfect spot to hit if you're on North Avenue after bar close. In fact, I have driven from Old World 3rd Street just to get a slice at the end of the night!

I have ordered pizza for delivery from Ian's about five times. The first three times they left off ingredients. They apologized and offered a credit for $8 the first time--I never did ask to redeem the credit. The next two times I just rolled with it--the pizza was good even without the basil or garlic. The fourth time we ordered they didn't ever come so we called after an hour plus; with much confusion and profuse apologies they offered us a $25 credit and finally got the pizza here--3 hours after the initial order. Tonight we ordered for the last time. They called to clarify the sauce we had chosen. A few minutes later they called to say they had no potato. Fifteen minutes later they called a third time to say they were out of mushrooms. We cancelled the order and made our own pizza. We have given them way more chances than they deserve. We'll never order again. I really don't understand how a business that exists to serve pizza can so consistently fail. Maybe they do better with phone orders? Or eat-in orders? Whatever. As far as I'm concerned they just plain suck and I'm done giving them chances.

closest to an NYC pizza spot in Milwaukee. Only thing that brings it down a star is the price. Supply and demand does weird things in Milwaukee. There are so few walk up pizza places that they can charge $3-$5 a slice and its generally OK. Don't even get me started on the poop hole called Pizza Shuttle. Anyway, Ian's has great selection of ready to go pizza with creative toppings. That's all ya need! Any they blast 90s hip hop. (holler NYC)

  • Dominique S.

I don't understand these people complaining about the pies sitting out. Are you slow? That's what happens with slice pies! It's totally normal. I moved here (to MKE) from NY this summer. Every time I get homesick I go to ians for a pepperoni slice. It tastes just like home. This is the best pizza I've had outside of New York. If you don't like this pizza, then you don't like real pizza. The ONLY thing that would make Ian's better would be if they served italian ice too. Added bonus - Ian's treats their employees very well and uses local produce and meats. Yay!

  • Scott O.

I appreciate Ian's for what it is: a great place to get a slice of crazy pizza at any time of day. Lunch? Get a slice. Dinner? Get two slices. Bar time? Make out with a stranger in line, throw up in the bathroom, and order three slices to go. YEAH. I typically judge a pizza place by their cheese slice. Ian's cheese slice is nothing to write home about, but I also know this isn't your typical pizza joint. If you see a slice that you don't think you'd try, just try it. You'll like it. Around Thanksgiving I had a slice topped with pork tenderloin, fennel, and some unnamed sauce. Sounds disgusting, right? It tasted great. Just think of it as a sandwich, not a pizza. The mac and cheese slice is always a winner. Steak and fries? Top notch. Bacon chicken ranch? Yes, sir.

If I'm looking for something quick and relatively affordable to eat, I go to Ian's. The staff is decent, what you would expect for a college-ish crowd. A favorite by far is the mac n cheese pizza. I have been disappointed by the salads, only by their limited dressing selections. As for people not liking the reheated pizza, I'd suggest they go elsewhere. The key to me for Ian's is speed and I love that I can be out of there in 5-10 minutes

  • Mike G.

Pretty F***ing Good Not much atmosphere but a very welcome addition to the East Side and another much-needed alternative to Ma Fischer's for cheap late night snacks. The pizzas are competently made from fresh meats and vegetables and the unusual topping combinations work, for the most part. The mac and cheese pizza is popular if carbs on top of carbs is your sort of thing. Not for me. De gustibus non disputandum est. I'm partial to the fresh mozzarella, tomato, and kalamata tapenade pizza, and the philly cheesesteak pizza. Since it is sold by the slice, one can sample a number of varieties at one go, but if you have more than two of the generous slices, you are really making a pig of yourself.

  • Christina R.

I love Ian's! The guys that work there are super friendly and good at giving pizza suggestions. They have lots of great, unusual pizzas, which are fun to try. I've had the Philly cheese steak pizza there and LOVE IT! I think I've also had the Margarita, which I liked as well. Also, the salad bar is fabulous! They have tons of topping options and for a pretty good price they'll make you a huge salad with I believe it's 5 toppings. Seems like the guys there also give me an extra topping, making it 6. And the salad is absolutely huge. I usually get a slice of pizza and share a salad with whoever I'm with. Overall, it's an awesome restaurant!

  • Chris R.

Hands down my favorite pizza in town. Mac and cheese pizza. I repeat, Mac and cheese Pizza. It is awesome and it taste even better next day. I have heard the steak and fries pizza is awesome as well but who needs it when Mac and Cheese pizza is staring you in the face.

    (5)
  • Nick K.

Ian's, pretty typical pizza place IMO. You can't really change pizza, but you can prepare it well and be innovative to a certain point which Ian's does. My personal favorites are the buffalo chicken and macaroni and cheese (but it does get monotonous after an entire slice). EIther way, I will go back when I'm drunk because a) I'm a lush and b) its so damn close to bar's I like to frequent it just makes sense.

    (3)
  • Caley C.

The mac n' cheese pizza is on my list of options for a last meal. It's that good. Tastes like carby cheese heaven. Mmm. They have lots of other rad flavors as well, but why bother with anything else when you can have the mouth joy that is mac n' cheese.

    (5)
  • Emma W.

The only time I have been disappointed by Ian's was the first time I went and foolishly ordered a slice of pepperoni. If you're getting the plain pepperoni at Ian's you're doing it wrong. They always have some crazy slices that sound questionable in theory, but are in practice delicious such as the famous Mac n cheese, lasagna, mashed potato, or chicken parmesan pizza. My personal favorite is the florentine, with feta, spinach and tomatoes. I have never had a crusty slice or one that tasted less than fresh. I've gone a bunch of times in various states of inebriation, and I think the complaint about the pizzas sitting out is a psychological hang up because its never been a problem. Will def continue to eat at Ian's (:

Tried the pizza wih the tomatos, feta cheese (i think) and olive paste on top and it was delicious! Very friendly service as well. The guy behind the counter explained to us what every pizza was before we ordered anything at all and made the decision much easier for us. Got a bottled root beer, no idea how common or rare this thing is up here in Wisconsin but it was good too. I was very pleased. Good part of town too right next to all the bars and Lake Michigan. If I ever come back to Milwaukee I'm hitting this place up again. LOVE that it's open late.

  • Jax B.

I arrived at Ian's and ordered a slice of pizza. They took it from one of the pies displayed on the counter (didn't look too fresh), added a little more cheese, then stuck it in an oven for 2-3 min. Took it out and gave it to me on a paper plate. Ugh. Don't go here for freshly made pizza. I won't be back.

  • Ian V.

First of all I went here and my name is Ian and I never got a discount, but that doesn't matter lol. Ian's pizza was very delicious I left the bar with my friends and we went straight to Ians pizza. My friend suggested it, and it was a very good suggestion because it is awesome drunk food. I didn't care much of the interior of the restaurant but the scene there is young and lively which makes it a plus, also keeps older style crampers away too i guess. Ha!

the bomb. friendly staff (carryout ordering/delivery ordering) FRESH & awesome pick your own fixings way to order delish salads. obviously awesome pizza.. i love that they stay away from being ordinary & average, to being pretty much the awesome-ist (is that a word?) thanks for being our go to since our move to mke last spring !

  • Katie L.

I am forever indebted to Ian's Pizza for introducing me to mac 'n cheese pizza! The slices are huge and I love the combinations, especially anything with the parmesan chicken on it. I know a lot of people consider Ian's late night drunk food but I genuinely really like the pizza here. For me it's usually a cheap lunch with friends or a dinner on the go when I'm in the area and in a hurry. The big slices and thin crust reminds me of a NYC slice. The staff is usually super friendly, too. I love that they have BBQ sauce at the counter, I put it on my mac 'n cheese pizza. No judgement!

  • Ari S.

I LOVE THIS PIZZA!!! You will not even believe the types of pizza they come up with, and its all amazingggg! They are open really late, so if you are going after bar close expect it to be busy. The staff is really nice and they will help you choose your slice, you can also buy a whole pizza which gets expensive but totally worth it! They have plenty of seating and a bathroom which is clean. The soda is over priced but they also have water. It usually is a loud and fun place with HUGE slices! Well worth every penny!

  • Stella B.

I've been living around the corner from Ian's since it opened, never had a problem and the pizza's always fresh. The philly cheesesteak is always amazing as well as the kalamata for the vegetarians. The only issue is late after bar close it gets pretty busy and messy, but that's what's to be expected.

pretty solid pizza. consistent food, service, and delivery. a little overpriced for mke, but definitely worth a try. they're also super nice always.

A great alternative to Pizza Shuttle, Toppers, and Brick 3 for sure! They had a ton of options available and the prices were great. Can't wait to come back, but probably for take-out as the dining area was awfully cramped on a busy afternoon.

It's really great to be in a city that has a great, clean, pizza by the slice spot like Ian's. While the pizza wasn't mind blowing, the convenience, variety, and interesting flavors make it worthwhile. I'm kind of bummed I won't be in Milwaukee for the week they'll be offering the pineapple jerk chicken pizza. I visited earlier in the night, on a Tuesday, and the place was pretty slow- but I have a feeling there is a line out the door on a warm friday or Saturday. Still worth it.

Ians Pizza is one of the best place on the eastside to get pizza. Its unique, fast and inexpensive. Completely convienient. The employees are very nice and provide excellent service. The slices are large and yummy!! :) I usually go with the hawaiian but the BBQ chicken is very good too and the mac n cheese you must try (put hot sauce on it for extra flavor).

  • Colin U.

I LOVE IAN's! although it isn't the real one (the one(s) in Madison) but it is an amazing place. They get really busy around bar close but that is to be expected. You can get any type of pizza you could ever want from Mac N Cheese to Bacon, Chicken, Ranch pizza. Their prices are good for amazing pizza and you can't just go in for one slice! Gotta make it a twofer. They have some soda and free water but the soda is kinda expensive. I digress, They have some nice seating but this is a get-in get-out and enjoy heaven for about 5 minutes until you grab that quick cab home. Sad part is, because it's on the east-side on North Ave... Most of the college students who go there, don't remember ever eating their delicious pizza! It's a crime....

They have some pretty good pizza's here, different styles, which is fun but most of the time they are sitting out forever. I have had better frozen pizza, well cooked frozen pizza... But hey when youre drunk youd eat cardboard, and chances are when you eat at ians you are... enjoy. take it or leave it.

Heard good things about Ian's, and a few comments about them being better than Pizza Shuttle had me intrigued. I tried a slice of pepperoni and mac & cheese and while they were good it wasn't anything special. Better than Papa John's but nowhere near as complex & interesting as Shuttle.

Eh, I've enjoyed myself and especially the price here and will definately go back but it's not mouth watering. Maybe I'm just not a fan of reheated pizza even if they do use a nice oven to do it. I've felt the same way about any of this type of place. They do have a very nice variety of pizza's and it's pretty quick but It's decent drunk or predrinking food at best. I wouldn't come here if I was just craving pizza.

Great, interesting, cheap pizza, and open late in a great location. I've been to the Ian's in Chicago, and this location is way better! Much newer, and cleaner. You can't go wrong with the pizza...it's fantastic.

Quick update! I tried Ian's again, this time after drinking, and it still sucked. That is all.

Friends have been talking about Ian's for years and I finally got a taste. I tried the Florentine (spinach, tomato and feta) on my first outing. It was delicious from crust to topping. With only two pizza sizes, we made the mistake of getting the 20 inch. I'll be enjoying leftovers for days... I would definitely go again. I've heard rave reviews about the mac n' cheese pizza, so that might have to be my next test.

I fell in love with Ian's for the first time about 6 years ago when I visited the State Street location in Madison. I was ridiculously excited when I heard they were coming to Milwaukee, and they have yet to disappoint. This place isnt fancy, so if that's what you're looking for, you might as well stop reading. The pizza is different and delicious. I try to get a different slice every time I stop in, and I have yet to be unsatisfied. The mac and cheese pizza is a must try! It's open late, served fairly fast, and is super cheap! The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is because the building they're in is pretty small and lacks breathing space in the seating area. It feels kinda like you're sitting on top of other people.

I don't know if I just ordered the wrong thing or what, but Ian's pepperoni pizza was the most boring pizza I've encountered this side of the Pick N' Save freezer case.

Went there on St. Pat's day for dinner and the pizza was fantastic. I had the chicken ranch pizza and it was great for $3.50 for a huge slice. Service was really friendly and outgoing.

The pizza here is very tasty. Ingredients taste very fresh, but it's very sloppy eating. I've ordered two pizzas from here, and each fell apart when a slice was separated from the pie. I think this may be a slice-only place.

There is a high percentage of slices of Ian's Pizza that I have consumed but do not remember. Major shout out to all of the employees who work the bar-close shift and have to deal with all of the loud, sloppy, drunk patrons. That being said, I prefer coming here for my fourth meal (or a really late third). It's great for people watching. The only downside to coming late is they might run out of your favorite slice. Later at night, it's louder, they're typically bumpin' some pretty sweet tunes, and it's a fun college-esque environment. My favorite slices are any of the quesadillas and steak & fries. The mac & cheese gets hyped a lot, but it's really not my fave. On Tuesdays, they offer vegan slices which makes consumption a little easier on my lactose intolerant tummy. Breadsticks are good too!

Macaroni and cheese pizza. Need I say more? Truly, that is the highlight. I've tried a few other of their concoctions and nothing quite compares. As a matter of fact, the slices with potatoes tend to have undercooked potatoes. I enjoy ordering delivery from Ian's. It arrives quick and hot and the delivery people are always super nice. The physical location can get a little gurvy which is a bit unappetizing. The bathroom is sketchy.

This review is regarding pizza for delivery. NOPE. We've lost Ian's number for deliveries since they delivered a soggy margarita. You know the DiGiorno's commercial where it shows a delivery dude taking a turn on two wheels while the pizza boxes fly in the back seat? That's what the pizza looked like! Half the sauce and mozzarella were sloshed over half the pizza and box, leaving that crust soggy and half the pizza bare. So sad looking. (Check out the pic!!) The DiGiorno pizza, on the other hand, is picturesque, delicious, and cheaper.

From what I've heard about Ian's Pizza, I don't exactly match the clientele. I didn't go to school in Wisconsin, and I'm not constantly inebriated. But my god, I'd be lying if I say their pizza isn't so sinfully delicious, it'll make any dietitian weep in despair. As a carb-o-holic, I gravitate towards their Mac n Cheese pizza. It's crispy, gooey, and rich all at the same time. Instead of using a tomato-based sauce, they use some kind of special white sauce (heh). It's magical, if not hedonistic. And if you're feeling gluttonous-- I mean, "adventurous"-- you can't go wrong with the Smokey Bandit. They serve vegan pizza by the slice, but if you want gluten-free, you're going to have it buy an entire pizza. A 12" is the minimum, but since the crust is so thin, eating the whole thing is very possible. And honestly, their gluten-free pizza's pretty good. It's like eating an extra thin crust pizza. Our friend actually had a slice, and he didn't even know it was gluten-free. All the employees are nice. Seating is hit or miss, depending on what time of the day you're going. They do take credit cards, but I've came in a couple times when their credit machine was down, so bring cash just in case. All in all, I like Ian's Pizza. They're open late, so it's a good option for a late-night nosh, and a viable option for when I have out-of-towners visit.

Upgrade! Changed to 5 stars because I love their pizza so much. I've gone through 3 punch cards this year, something that I'm not entirely proud of. The convenience factor is high on this joint. Both close proximity to my home and quick to pick up during non-bar time hours. New flavors I love: Chicken taco, chorizo taco, drunken ravioli Oh, and now I suppose I can click the box that says they don't have bike parking because Yelp added that feature. I'm always locking my bike to a pole or parking meter. Sometimes I walk too. To the people who clicked "yes" on bike parking -- really? Do you even ride here?!

What, have I really not written a review for Ian's before? Am I in a parallel universe? This doesn't make sense. Anyway, I'll remedy my past misdeeds by writing a review now. So, Ian's is my favorite pizza place. I have always, ALWAYS has excellent service there, even when it is bursting with drunk college students. Their employees are so incredibly nice and easy-going! A+ guys (and gals). They have so many slices of pizza to choose from that I always have trouble making up my mind. They have vegetarian slices, meat-heavy slices, Mac-and-cheese slices, and they have even had vegan and (I think) gluten-free slices (don't quote me on that). Their ingredients always seem fresh, and their flavors and spices are always on point. My faves are the eggplant pizza, the florentine, and the buffalo chicken. And they have great salads too. Definitely check out Ian's if you're hanging out on the East Side and want to grab a quick slice (or three) without a long wait.

I know a lot of Madison grads, so they have fond memories of Ian's. The two locations here in MKE seem to satisfy them, and I know that I sure love the pizza too. Skip the mac and cheese. Most overrated pizza ever. It's very bland and only good fresh out of the oven. Go with pretty much any other pizza. My favorites: pepperoni (only $15 for a 20" if you're feeding a lot of people), papa the bandit, drunken ravioli, Florentine, and the one-time banh mi slice.

Not a whole lot to say. Another pizza joint that serves......pizza! i stopped in and order a cheese slice. 275 for a slice of cold cheese pizza reheated to lukewarm. If you have read my prior posts you would know that i am quite fond on pizza shuttle. Ian's doesn't beat pizza shuttle in my opinion. Pizza shuttle charges a single dollar for a hot slice of cheese pizza. The pizza itself was fairly good. Although no hot and the crust was a little hard. Nothing special here. The location i would think would be prime for late nights and weekends. I wouldn't know but i would like that it is. I was a little confused when i walked in about prices pizza slices and such. So i grabbed a menu and look at the different varieties of za's.... is this a new thing? Za's? I dont hate it i just dont like it.

I really, really wish I liked Ian's more. Pizza is my favorite and I work super close by. The first time I went to Ian's I was so disappointed I stayed away for well over a year. Life is too short to eat bad pizza! I bit the bullet and went back again recently for the mac and cheese pizza. It was better then expected, but still nothing to write home about. I will say that it made me willing to try again and I'm going to get more adventurous with my next order. I'll also try to be drunk, since that seems to be a common theme in other reviews.

Pizza by the slice is one of my favorite things in life and Ian's never disappoints for me. Probably go at least monthly to get my fix of quick yet tasty pizza. My go to is the buffalo chicken. Spicy buffalo chicken with cheese and some ranch sauce. So delicious and always available when I go. They always have different concoctions every month to sample which is partly why I have to go about every month. This last time I had a chicken taco pizza and it was fantastic. If you are more if a plain person their standard cheese and pepperoni is also delightful. Tried a salad once too and it was full of fresh veggies. You just tell them what you want and they mix it up for you. Good for a quick bite or a late night treat.

I finally made it to Ian's last night for a sober dinner with a friend (I feel like that distinction is important having read several other reviews). It was the first time for both me and my friend so after a solid minute of pizza gazing we each ordered two slices by the point and shoot method. The staff missed the obvious opportunity for a "Welcome to Ian's, have you been here before?" which I only mention this because the posted menus were pretty busy and the pizzas were not labeled. However, I recognize that reading the menu and a friendly greeting would be the farthest thing from my mind were I on the post-bar food prowl. Anyways, I got a mac and cheese slice of course, and what turned out to be a roasted red pepper and mushroom slice. The slices were delicious and very filling. I wish they served beer! Next time I think I will try ordering a whole pizza because I really like the options they have on their menu.

Another Milwaukee Icon that i waited far to long to finally get to. And i must say the wait was worth it. The BBQ Chicken pizza is easily in my top 5 favorite pizza's i've had. The Mac n Cheese is alright though i just can't get into anyone's mac n cheese pizza. The Sausage/pepperoni pizza was quite good as well. I will be back.

A lot of folks from Milwaukee like to sling around the term "New York Style" for every single slice of thin crust pizza they eat. Honestly, most of them are nothing like a New York slice, but Ian's could probably survive the tough New York streets. This is a proper New York slice. Guys, don't fight with me, I'm the Michelangelo of pizza. And that doesn't mean I make beautiful pieces of art out of cheese, dough and tomato sauce. It means that I eat way too much damn pizza and if you argue with me I'll hit you upside the head with my nunchuck. Cowabunga Dude. I ordered a slice of Chicken Alfredo and a slice of Vegan BBQ Chicken. I didn't expect the Vegan BBQ Chicken slice to come with a side order of an explanation of what Veganism is. I know I look like a cheesy Polak from the southside, and I am just that. But when I ask you what a slice is and you respond "Vegan BBQ Chicken" and I say "Ooo I'll have that!", there's no further explanation needed. Especially when you're talking to an ex-vegetarian who occasionally eats Vegan and still spends 70% of his grocery money on fresh fruits and veggies. Slow down, Pizza Dude! That being said, the Vegan BBQ Chicken was okay. I liked every bit of it, except oddly enough, the BBQ sauce. It was watery and it just didn't have the right mix of spice. It kind of threw off the whole slice. The chicken Alfredo was excellent. Maybe a couple less noodles wouldn't hurt, but the chicken that they use here is excellent. It tasted like they cut an actual chicken breast right off the bone instead off the highly processed chicken product most pizza places offer. Is the cheese good? Check! The sauce? Double check, and they use just the right amount. As far as the pliability tests go, these slices fold in half without the crust cracking. The dough is excellent. Good job guys! Come here! Eat more pizza!

Drunk pizza place... How else can you beat it?? There really isn't any place like it in the area and it's a perfect place for a wide variety of styles and tastes. They are also open relatively late, making it a perfect place to stop in after a long night of partying with friends. Overall this place is a chill place to eat with great people

We are staying here for business and ordered that on a Monday so Wednesday night we ordered the same thing.... And they told us that they don't order there when 2 days ago they just delievered pizza to the hotel we were at same location and everything... I'm like why did they deliver it a few days ago ... They said oh maybe because it was slow ... Smh oooookay so when they're slow that's when they deliever to certain place... Just peachy.... They cancelled the order and said it'd take 2 business days to get the money back.... Like wtf I have a bunch of hungry models here and they're mad bc they been on set all day and everything in this town closes early smh

Ian's Pizza on North Ave. is our go-to pizza joint in Milwaukee. Thin crust, HUGE slices, and a wide selection of toppings. Most importantly though, their customer service is exceptional! I called last night for delivery, and the first time I was accidentally hung up on. Annoying? Sure. But it was an honest mistake. So I called back straight away and was put on hold... Almost nine minutes later, one of the delivery drivers picked up and asked me how long I'd been on hold. I told him, and he immediately apologized and offered a $10 credit on my account. Nice! Apparently whoever put me on hold just left the phone off the hook and forgot about it. I've worked in high call volume situations before, so I really understand that things like that can, but shouldn't, happen. So offering a credit wasn't necessary, but was very much appreciated. I went ahead with my order, and once I finished the driver told me his manager was right beside him and said I would receive 50% off last night's order on top of the $10 credit for next time. I told him it wasn't necessary, but he insisted and again apologized. Bottom line- Ian's pizza isn't just good pizza... it's good people, too. Three cheers and five stars for Ian's!!

Dirty: A greasy film covered every surface except where there were piles of wet, food stained newspapers sitting around. Loud: I like loud music, but not so loud that the tables shook from the bass and I had to shout my order twice and communicate with staff through gestures. Food: My "Wisco" salad sounded good: greens, pecans, cranberries, apples, blue cheese. It was awful and mostly inedible. It was about three red leaf lettuce leaves that were barely torn or cut and so were about the size of my head and therefore difficult to eat. Altogether only about 3/4 cup greens. The rest was a pile of wet pecans, cranberries, and blue cheese with maybe a teaspoon of apple bits. Don't know what made it wet since the dressing was on the side. Good luck eating that mess with a plastic fork, which is all that is available. The fork's plastic tines kept breaking off when I would try to stab a pecan or cranberry and the plastic then fell into the salad mess. I ate the 3/4 cup greens with difficulty and threw out the rest. Don't know about the pizza, but the fact that my friend threw a way 1/3 of the slice says something. No beer or wine was available there to soften the blow of this awful experience. The fact that the cashier was friendly is not nearly enough to make me ever consider going back or even trying takeout from Ian's.

This pizza place is like a cross between a slice shop and a club. At midnight on a Thursday, the music was bumpin and all kinds of people were grubbing down and enjoying themselves. I of course had to order the mac n cheese to see what all the hype was about and I must say it was pretty good. Really, it's a little much and I started to get low self esteem as I finished my slice but it's super original and executed well. I think it's be better if there was maybe bacon or something on it. And then because I'm fat I also ordered a slice of pepperoni (the true test of a good slice). I give it a 8/10. Crust was crunchy yet soft inside, sauce had a good flavor, cheese was plentiful and the pepperoni was perfect, greasy, salty, the whole nine. They also serve up a ton of different slices and my friends had the chicken taco. I tried a bite and wished id have ordered that as well. Go here!!

Life is too short for the same pizza toppings where every you go. Ian's will relieve you of Pizza Boredom. huge slices, great combos and relaxed atmosphere. The picky eater in our family hates red sauce and loves Mac n cheese. Well what do you know, Ian's has a red sauce free mac n cheese pizza. Win Win! Many to choose from but last visit I made the mistake of not waiting more options and picked from the by dwindling by the slice options...meh, shoulda waited for something more exciting. Dont settle when they have so many great options. Gotto go back for the artichoke dip pizza...

It's never a good idea to go to the grocery store hungry. Seriously, you will buy a bunch of stuff you wouldn't normally want, you wouldn't normally buy, and it will end up sitting in your fridge or pantry unused forever. Enter Ian's. They are right across the street from Whole Foods. They have good pizza, in many unusual varieties. How about a Mac and Cheese Pizza? They got it. Barbecue Beef? That too. Maybe some Roasted Red Pepper, Mushroom, & Feta? Sure. How about plain ol' Pepperoni or Sausage? They also have that. Not only do they have a large variety, but their pizza tastes pretty darned good. It's not my favorite of those I've tried in MKE, but it's pretty great.

I had the pesto chicken and the one with 3types of meats. Both completely vegan. I was passing through there on my way back from vacation and it was so nice to find a true pizza place with good vegan options. I am 6 months pregnant so it was more appreciated than you know!!! Great service too.

Best pizza ever. Thin crust, not too much sauce, and amazing topping combinations. I recommend the Mac n cheese or buffalo chicken but you truly can't go wrong. Love that you can order by the slice or order a full pizza to bring home to share. Have always had great friendly fast experiences at this location.

I like random pizza. Ian's delivers random pizza (in the restaurant, and to your home). From burritos, to reubens, to babreque picknik, to pasta; Ians will throw it on a pizza. The dudes working the counter are friendly, and will answer any questions you have (Which are usually "What the HELL is that?!"). It usually takes a couple minutes to heat up a slice, but it's nothing crazy, and I think they'll give it to you cold if you want. They also have Sprecher in bottles :). It makes me feel better about myself as I sit in the window staring across at the people in Whole Foods. You think you're better than me Mr/Mrs. Whole Foods shopper? Well, that may be the case, but I'm eating delicious pizza while you're picking field greens and sharing couscous recipes. Who's better now, huh? Oh, still you? Well at least I have this comfort food to shove into my mouth hole. Stop looking at me. Punks.

Ian's pizza has some good chicken. It's a good place to go to late at night. Slices come in good portions for cheap prices. I've had the sausage pizza and the bbq chicken pizza and I can honestly say the bbq chicken was amazing. There wasn't too much bbq sauce and they had a good amount of chicken on it. I'm from Chicago but I've gone to Ian's the last 2 times I came to milwaukee. I highly recommend trying one of their specialty pizzas.

Hands down one of THE best "Pizza by the Slice" places in Milwaukee. I ordered mine to go over the interwebs for pickup and ordered the "Sausage", "Sausage Penne Alfredo" and the "Chicken Penne Alfredo". All were extremely delicious!!! I've also heard the "Smokey the Bandit" is unbelievably tasty so looks like I'll have to try it next time!! Awesome joint here, I'll be back without question

Service is incredibly friendly. A good location surrounded by other shops and close to the lake front. The pizza is good - it does sit pre-cooked before it is reheated so it is not as fresh as you could get, I suppose. I always get the mac pizza which goes quickly so I haven't really experienced any issues with quality. I highly recommend the mac pizza or other unique selections - you can get things like taco pizza which has actual nacho chips on it. They have a ton of very interesting combinations that would probably be impossible to find elsewhere.

If you have read my first review, you know I am not a fan of pizza places that pre-make pizza, and leave it out at room temperature to sell by the slice. Ian's is a place like that. I ignored my instincts to go somewhere else because I was so freaking hungry! (Waiting in line for over an hour for tickets to a show, then was told we couldn't leave the venue and return. Luckily, the doorman was sympathetic when I asked if I could pretty please put some food in my tummy tum.) The pizza was crispy and satisfying. The guy who served me was cool. The price was appropriate.

So Ian's makes a good pie. They use locally sourced ingredients and everything in the pie is made from scratch. This is possibly why Ian's pies taste good. But an Ian's pie is more than just a about having a good slice. Ian's is all about toppings. If you haven't tried the mac & cheese topped pizza, you really should. If you are meat person they can blow your mind with a Buffalo Chicken, BBQ Steak Fries or Philly Cheese Steak pies. Or you can keep it classic with something like basil and mushrooms too.

Oh Ian's! I love you so much! As much as I don't miss living on the Eastside one bit, I do miss being in walking distance from Ian's. My favorite pizza was the Cordon Bleu. Chicken, swiss, ham...delicious! They have so many varieties, and crazy ones at that, that there is something for literally everyone. AND, they have Vegan Tuesday nights so that everyone can enjoy a slice of Ian's! One thing that seems to be overlooked is their salads. They make AWESOME salads and you pick the toppings that go on it. Slice of pizza, side salad, 8 bucks of pure awesome. The guys at the counter are as sweet as the pies they make. They greet you when you walk in and make the interaction beyond pleasant! On a side note, I eat all my Ian's pizza sober and I still love them mucho.

I love the creative pizza options and that they have pizzas of the month. The dough is really good too. My only suggestion would be that you pick it up (or reheat it if you get it delivered) because it is just not nearly as good if it isn't fresh out of the oven.

WHAT AM I MISSING? ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! Okay, Yelpers, what the living hell? I have read through some of the reviews and dozens contain references to Ian's as "pizza for the drunk." Being drunk must be a requirement. I've heard that alcohol gives a man "beer goggles" when looking at the unfortunate, and perhaps it has the same effect when ingesting soggy, inedible pizza. My first encounter with Ian's Pizza was their frozen product that I purchased at a deep discount when they were clearing it from the freezers at Outpost. It wouldn't win any blue ribbons, but I thought nothing of it since I think we all accept a certain degree of mediocrity when it comes to food that is flash frozen and packed in a cardboard box for consumption at a much later date (maybe when one is hammered?) Wait, I think I see a pattern here. MY WARM WELCOME After quizzing the staff at Whole Foods about Ian's and getting endorsements, I decided to roll the dice and give Ian's a chance. I hadn't eaten all day, so to please me would be fairly easy at this point. Remember the movie Dumb and Dumber? Well, cue up the film crew for the sequel: Dumb, Dumber, and Dumbest. The three behind the counter looked about as stoned as the three guys standing in front of the counter. No one said anything, but they stood there laughing at themselves long enough that I figured out on my own that the rails that run along the pizza case define the beginning of the non-existent line. I think Aretha Franklin said it best: "I'm running out of fools, and I ain't lyin'." I have no idea what these guys were doing. But it involved tossing food and paper cups around. Classy. THE GRAND PIZZA VAULT What goes well with an icy welcome? Ice cold pizza, of course. Behind the very clean, streak-free glass (I'll give them that) was where you could view and hand-pick the slice you wanted. The caseline was festooned with platter after platter of....Ice. Cold. Pizza. SERIOUSLY!? This is what college kids are eating these days? It made me long for Real Chili. This crap looked like the stuff that I'd take home from the pizza place when I couldn't finish it. I would relegate it to the fridge where I promptly forgot about it, and invariably I'd end up tossing it in the rubbish where it belonged in the first place the second it got cold. Evidently, the concept at Ian's is that they will take the "leftover of your choice" and nuke it in the microwave for you. Mmmmm, Mmmmmm, penicillin. I tried to convince myself to find the least offensive piece of rubber pizza, the best of which looked like it was made in an Easy Bake Oven with the aid of a 7 watt bulb. YUCK! I just couldn't do it, folks. I bolted for the door, not that the three stooges would have noticed. Come to think of it, the few people in this place were either drunk or stoned. The bright red tables and acid-trippy-ultra-bright lighting reminded me of the typical after bar scene. ARE YOU KIDDING ME ONE star. I should have known when the guy at Whole Foods said his fav slice was "mac and cheese that didn't contain any red sauce, but plenty of noodles and velveeta stuff." "Righteous, Spicoli!" These pizzas had perhaps sat there for countless hours, waiting for a charming skater to rescue them. I don't know how much it was, or what else Ian's sells, because I never got that far. If you're sober, do yourself a favor and keep on walking. *EWWW. Piss shiver just thinking about it*

Let find out how good this place is. I know I have been here.i had their mac and cheese. Nothing too fancy. I have definitely had better pizza. Maybe I should give it another try, but the cheese cake wasn't for me.

You drink. You get drunk. You eat Ian's. Yes. Mac and Cheese or BBQ Chicken are regulars for me, although I have sampled other tasty versions, there's probably no point it telling you what they are since you never know what options they will have for you. Yes, it sits out for awhile and they reheat it to order. You wait for a few minutes and you get tasty pizza. That's why you got drunk before you showed up. To be fair, I have ordered two whole (giant) pies for delivery whilst sober. It was still delicious.

Macaroni and cheese. BBQ steak and fries. Cheese ravioli with vodka sauce. It's a shame I don't live closer cause with amazing pizza options like those I'd never eat pizza elsewhere. Reasonable prices and pizza that's not greasy like some other single slice places I've been to. Love it.

I can't believe how overhyped this place is by college kids... Reviews here from noobs claiming this place is "the best" is all just college / drunken hype. Basically just a trendy college type place to get decent pizza by the slice for convenience. For a true pizza connoisseur or someone with functioning taste buds this is average pizza. Ian's is basically a second tier pizza place. Top tier would be a homemade pizza place like Lisa's, third tier would be a chain place like Dominos. This is somewhere in between. The quality isn't bad and the variety / creativity of the pizza menu is awesome. I like the pizza from Ian's. A couple of times I've had it and it wasn't fully warmed up, but was still solid. They have everything from Mac N Chez pizza to BBQ chicken pizza, etc. to your run of the mill sausage or Roni. Service is pretty good. Place is usually packed with people due to location and convenience. They sell pizza by the slice, but one slice has never filled me up. They are big pieces but you will likely need at least a couple if you're hungry. This place is extremely similar to Polito's. Pizza is sold by the slice. It is pre-made then reheated when you select your slice. Tastes pretty good but can be a little soggy. I prefer Polito's to Ian's because it has a better menu and better tasting pizza. Sidebar: The workers at Ian's are friendly, nice. Yes. This place is better than Dominos / Little Caesars / dumpster diving (jk), and it won't make you feel nauseous like after eating a Pizza Hut. Ian's: Cool menu options, good Za, creative, but not amazing. Bottom line: It's quick, convenient, has awesome variety and tastes good. A nice 2nd tier pizza place that's slightly overhyped by the younger college crowd and various Milwaukee residents.
