Great corner bar with the best thin crust pizza in West Allis. The staff is very friendly and will always go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied. If you are new to the area and have not been here yet, give it a shot.

The word bar is subjective. Some people call Applebee's a bar. They would be wrong. Happy Tap is a genuine, sit-on-a-stool-and-drink-your-beer-bar. A tavern, if you will. That serves pizza. A pretty darn good pizza. We went on a weekday night and were alone with the bartender for most of our visit. That was ok with us, as it was quiet and clean and we could hear each other. We came for the pizza based on Yelp reviews; the drinks were a bonus. We ordered a 16 inch with pepperoni and sausage. It took about 15-20 minutes to cook and came out looking delicious. The pizza is thin crust and is cut into squares rather than slices. The sausage is SAUSAGE, you know what I mean? Big chunks of meat, not marble sized like on frozen pizza. It was really good. About a week later, we ordered the same pizza for pick up and it was just as good. I like to see that kind of consistency. Now, this is not blow-your-socks-off, out-of-this-world pizza, but I guarantee you it is better than the pizza served at most other bars, and by bar, I mean not a restaurant that has a bar. 81/2015/175

Good pizza. Very thin crust, and good flavor. a bit salty, but I'm o.k. with that. It's not the best I've had, but it's better than a lot of places, and priced very reasonably. And it's made in a corner bar in Westallica. We've dined in for one pizza and picked one up for carry out. The bar is very clean and bright. The staff was friendly and gave great service. I thought it was odd when they asked for our phone number when we were dining in (our first visit). That's how they keep track of their rewards program, after ten pizzas your 11th is free. Bonus: if you get there early for carryout pizza you can have a drink while you're waiting, drinks are fairly cheap too.

THE BEST PIZZA IN MILWAUKEE!!!! Did you see what I wrote above? if not, THEY HAVE THE BEST PIZZA IN MILWAUKEE!! I love pizza. I eat a lot of pizza. Have tried many, many, many pizza restaurants and have yet to find a place that can beat their pizza. Oh, did I mention that they have the BEST PIZZA IN MILWAUKEE? Ya, I think I have. It is a bar. Let's not confuse this with a full fledged restaurant. There is a large bar, several small 2 chair tables and several more tables that hold 4 to 10 people. Not a huge space, but always friendly, comfortable and relaxed. The clientele is always friendly and the staff superb. Drink specials, good beer selection, and several really good, local craft beer selections including a new favorite of mine, 3 Sheep, make this an excellent choice to hang out, talk with new and old friends and have THE BEST PIZZA IN MILWAUKEE. Only knock I can give the place is the seats. All seats are your standard ole barstools. Ok for a while, but if you are there for a while they get fairly uncomfortable. But that is the only knock I can think of. So do yourself a favor, get up off your ass and head on out to enjoy THE BEST PIZZA IN MILWAUKEE. (actually in West Allis).

New to west allis, I was searching for a good pizza joint. There are so many choices here, but I had been let down by fillipos, fratellis & tarantino's... I found a good one! And cheap! 5 stars for tasty, fresh, fast & value. It's a bar, so if I was drinking when I had their pizza I'm sure it would have been even better. I previously came here a few nights earlier for a drink after work. The bartender talked up their pizza & was a good bartender. Friendly environment, they couldn't make the first 2 drinks I ordered... But it's a no frills corner bar so whatever.

I've been going here for years getting pizza. New orders recently took over. They initiated electronic rewards system God gave you one free pizza after 10. Last night I ordered 2 large pizzas 1 cheese 1 deluxe. This was my number 10th and 11th pizza. I was told I could not redeem the 11th pizza that night. I would have to come back in essence order my 12th pizza to get the eleventh one free. The deluxe puzza was not up to thier usual quality. They clearly reduced the amount of toppings that they put on. Based from previous deluxe pizzas that we have had. Was not happy.

Stallis gem. Pizza is thin crust and great. Cocktails are basic but solid. We go here once every month or two. Only minor downside is the lack of any menu items other than pizza or cheese bread, and some outdated tvs .

Went last night because we had a Groupon. I must have drove by this place 1000 times. So glad I finally stopped. The pizza was amazing. We ordered a large 16 inch with 2 toppings and had 4 beers during dinner. The total bill before the Groupon was only 25 bucks. They also have a rewards program, buy 10 get 11th free. We will be back and won't take long to get that free pizza.

Love Happy Tap. The pizza is the best ever . First of all, we are not regulars but went with a groupon last night. Was warmly welcomed by the bar tender and even other patrons, (who did appear to be regulars). Tap system was down so they only had bottles, which was no problem at all. I had the 3 sheep cirque wit (delicious) and my husband had the Sam Adams. We had the cheese bread, which came with a side of marinara sauce for dipping and large pizza. I don't believe they have anything else on the menu like burgers and such but really the pizza is all you need. Plenty of parking both on the street and there is a small lot

My husband bought the Groupon. We're not from West Allis, so we weren't familiar with the place. Very happy he bought it, because they have great pizza! Ours was thin crust and it was good!!! I liked the environment. Went on a weeknight. My kids enjoyed it as well. We had great service! Bartender and waitress were great. We look forward to going back and definitely will. I'm glad they put out the Groupon, because I wouldn't have known about it otherwise. If you like thin crust pizza - this is the place to eat!!2

Great pizza great service the bartender Jen was awesome. I had several Alaska beers which i never had before and so did my buddy a large pizza loaded up and the tab was 50 dollars. I'm going back for sure. Juke box was crankin all kinds of music love it! I added a pic for ya totally awesome

Happy Tap is a friendly corner bar in West Allis that is known for excellent pizza. Staff is friendly, drinks are cheap, and the atmosphere is relaxed. This is a great place to watch a game and load up on great food and drinks. They have Horny Goat Exposed on tap which is a tasty local craft beer. Happy Tap keeps it simple and does it right!

FTR!!! (and I didn't get a pic to upload....Ugh) I could probably start and end this review with "They had Salt n Pepa playing on the jukebox! OK....well, my group might have been the ones who picked the Awesome 90's rap soundtrack that was playing last night. But, that is beside the point :) A nice, old school, corner bar. It had it's regular's that were in there, but never made us not feel welcome. Bartender was extremely friendly, even bought our whole group a round! How often does that happen any more? They also had pizza made to order that was super yummy. Not your ordinary bar pizza. Yay! I'm a fan and will definitely be back!
