I made an order for delivery and after an hour and 40 minutes I had to call twice to see where my order was. Turns out it hadn't even left the kitchen! When I asked for a refund on the delivery fee the man on the phone was so incredibly rude and instead of giving me a delivery refund, just said "How about I just cancel your order?" and when I said no, I still wanted the food, he hung up on me. So I called back and asked why he had hung up and said I wanted to ensure a refund on the credit card that I used, and he proceeded to say "What do you want!? We are busy..." and hung up the phone for the second time. I STILL have not seen my refund on my credit card. I really feel bad for the person who manages this "establishment" because his/her employees are incompetent and disrespectful. Dear Gold Rush Chicken, You have forever lost a customer. Absolutely going back! I love me some fried chicken and have been on the hunt for this tasty and delectable dish. Look no further. Seriously. Not greasy AT ALL, crunchy, melt in your mouth. Fries were good, also not greasy AT ALL. The neighborhood's not that great, but you can call ahead and pick up through the drive-thru.

Pizza, ribs, fish and chicken... Good fry taste, makes me like the idea that they're taking care of the oil. I'm not as fond of this place as Mr. Perkins, but it suits my need to visit neighborhoods that most of my friends won't. The chicken buckets are good deals, and the trimmings (we had okra, fries and mushrooms) were decent. The biscuits were solid too. A few of the customers said the fish was awesome, so I snagged catfish. It was good, just not on par with my time in Mississippi. And I'm not a fan of the tartar sauce. Didn't try the pizza, but there's always next time.

Best chicken in the city for long as I know. Never disappoint with the freshness and consistency. Service is rude but in a good way just to keep it to the point. Happy eating!

By far the best fried chicken in the city. I've had it delivered, gotten carry-out and dined in on multiple occasions. The fried chicken is juicy with a crunch to it -- haven't had fried chicken even on par with this stuff. They also have some of the most underrated pizza in the city. I'm surprised they don't advertise it more. And their cheeseburgers are great too!
