The north shore is kind of a food desert, but this place is great. I ate in the restaurant with my family and we were one of two tables there. The place was relatively empty but that didn't bother us too much we are loud people. There is a board that states what was delivered and when, so you know what's fresh. I think this is awesome, because I'm often skeptical of this. The sushi was awesome. The menu gave us a little chuckle. It's clear that there is a little language barrier, as the menu says "tuna ta ta" instead of "tuna tar tar" I'm hoping this place catches on and makes it!

What a delightful find! Visiting from Virginia to attend the 2015 USA Ultimate College Nationals (Go UVA!). Rainy Sunday afternoon, need some lunch, Yelped and found this place. Top-notch hospitality, presentation, flavor, and quality. Had the Green Bay Roll and Chicken Yaki Soba--both were excellent. The sushi chefs are artists. Every dish looked fabulous and the taste was what you expect from a good Japanese restaurant; fresh, clear, subtle, and inviting. I wish them well!

Wauwatosa rolls were amazing! Nice for dinner, great for lunch. Very fast, clean, modern. A great lunch spot and excellent specials.

So happy this place opened! We were looking for a sushi place nearby and Ginza popped up. Service was outstanding, so clean, sushi was so good! Prices were perfect. Couldn't have been better; this is our new go-to for sushi.

Service? 6/5! Aesthetics? 7/5! Unfortunately, the food was average... Don't get me wrong. It was tasty, but I just feel like the food didn't live up to how it appeared. I got the sashimi deluxe and crazy tuna to see how fresh the fish was and how well they make the rolls. For the sashimi, it looked beautiful when it came out. (Definitely a goto order when you're on a date!) however I'm not sure if I agree with how it's served. It came out on a bucket of ice to "sustain" the freshness, but soon, I felt like I was eating fish out of a refrigerator because the fish got colder than it needs to be. So instead of making it taste fresh, it did the opposite effect. The initial freshness was average and not below the standard. As for the sushi, I can't say that I enjoyed it very much. There was too much rice and it was packed too tight. It was kinda hard to swallow. Because of the service and the aesthetics, I'd give it a 4! Also, it'll be hard to find a sushi restaurant like this in the area. Mixed feelings yet a pleasant experience!

Living not far from the restaurant and loving Sushi, I figured that I have to try the place out. Though it's located in a plaza which might not be the most desirable/ attractive place for a restaurant, the place inside is hip, clean and modern - with 2 Sushi bars, music and booths. I ordered the spicy Tuna roll and the pepper tuna roll - My wife had the Alaska roll and the Yam tempura roll - both were excellent and tasted fresh! I ended up going three more times to Ginza and was not disappointed at all! The appetizers are great, especially the beef Negimaki and the Haru Maki (spring rolls). The service is quick and helpful and the food is moderately priced. Strongly recommend trying this place out.!

Incredible food and service in a wonderful setting. Very authentic. It was hard to believe the excellent reviews but now I'm on board. LOVE IT!!!

First things first, the service was exquisite! All the wait staff was pleasant, polite and kind. The food was very high quality; before tonight I had never enjoyed sushi. I tried it once or twice but never really cared for it. Until I tried it at Ginza. I got the Ninja, and my girlfriend picked out the TNT and we found both to be excellent! I loved the balance with texture of the Ninja: creamy and a little crunchy. The taste was perfectly salty, savory, bringing it up with a little heat. After that, we tried some Yaki noodles, which came with a delicious miso soup and a crisp salad with a delightful vinaigrette dressing. All three were delicious. And to wrap up the evening we had some mochi for dessert, red bean and mango, and both changed my definition for good mochi. All in all, the restaurant had great food, great ambiance, and amazing service. Plus everything was amazingly priced: I would be hard pressed to find a better bang for your buck when it comes to sushi! If I could I would give Ginza 6 stars. I am filled with anticipation for my next date night there!

Great new restaurant and pretty decor. I really enjoyed the Japanese music they were playing while we ate. It was dead when we stopped in late on a Sunday. The iced green tea was delicious and super fresh! We ordered yakitori chicken for an app, and it was very tasty and beautifully presented. We also has salads and miso soup that came with our entrees. The salad was amazing! So fresh, with sweet and tangy ginger dressing. The miso soup was good, according to the BF, but personally, I hate the flavor of miso. We ordered tofu teriyaki and a beef dish where the beef was thinly sliced and rolled in scallions. Both dishes were delicious. The beef was fresh and tender. The tofu was silken, tempura fried and then covered with teriyaki sauce. What a delicious combination of flavors and textures. We passed on dessert but noticed they had fried ice cream and fried banana. Both sound amazing, and I really am looking forward to going back to try some sushi. This is a great addition to the area, and the food & service were excellent!

Love Ginza! I was ecstatic to hear a Ginza opened up near my work. Their sushi is my absolute favorite in the Milwaukee area. They have a great lunch special with a lot of options. Their fish is so fresh. I love their fun rolls, but if you're willing to get a California roll, there's is seriously the BEST California roll I have ever tasted. Their crab seems so much fresher. And they do not skimp out on the avocado. I don't even know why it's so good, because it's one of the most basic rolls! Rolls I love (off the top of my head)... Cali Avo Crunch Spicy Tuna Spicy Salmon Rainbow

Quick duck in for a to-go order. Clean, Friendly, Lunch Specials... Ordered a bunch. Gyoza was amazing. Miso soup was great. Spicy Tuna was above average... The real knock out was some great soba noodles. Just excellent, light, delicate flavor with tender beef and vegetables. Very Happy!!

Really good sushi and prices especially for the north shore. I used to drive all the way to Wauwatosa to get take out and I was so excited when I saw they were opening one three blocks from my house! Get the mars roll.

I'm so glad sushi is back in Bayside! The food looks and tastes excellent. And the prices are great too. They have a great lunch menu and I cannot wait to try their dinners. It is in the same place where there was a sushi bar years ago in the strip east of Port Washington Road.

We ate here last Saturday, January 3. The food and the service were great. First, the place was very crowded when we arrived but once we were seated, our server (Nicki) took our drink and appetizer order and we got those right away. She took our food order right after that, and the food came out a short time later - enough time for us to be able to have a conversation without feeling rushed. Nicki or another server also checked back on drinks and water several times while we were there. It was obvious that she was hustling to get her tables serviced. We heard later that the restaurant's computer was down that night, but we would never have guessed it based on the great service. Second, the food was excellent and the portion sizes were appropriate for the prices charged. We were impressed that the kitchen was able to get orders out so timely given the crowd. We each got something different but there's a lot more on the menu we're looking forward to sampling. Lastly, the space has been nicely remodeled from the restaurant that had been in the space previously. It's sleek looking without being over the top. It was a bit noisy but it looked like every table was taken. We'll be back again.

I would give them 5+++ Ginza Japanese Restaurant is a wonderful place. It is all fresh and clean staffed with professionals that wait on you like Joe the gentleman that waited on us. The remodeling that they did is outstanding and we felt really comfortable , there is a small Sushi bar along with a small neat Saki bar on the other wall. Now lets get to the food. I won't list them all but they were all EXCELENT and precisely prepared with care. For starters we had the Fried Calamari (perfectly done) and Baby Octopus Salad that was outstanding and right on the money along with the Seafood Soup that had 2 scallops , 2 shrimp , 2 small clams and 2 pieces of imitation crab. (don't turn up your nose it was perfect) Then we moved to The Caterpillar with Eel & cucumber inside topped with avocado , served with eel sauce. Electric Shock with spicy salmon & tempura flakes inside with a variety of colored caviar. The Silent Scream , Calamari Roll , Shrimp Tempura Roll , all just so tasty. Next time we are going to have the Dinosaur Egg with spicy lobster salad covered by sliced avocado and served with the Chef's spicy sauce along with Beef Teriyaki & Beef Negimaki. In the end the North Shore is lucky to have the Ginza Japanese Restaurant come to them , the food is out standing as well as the service and atmosphere. This is now on my go to list and look forward to enjoying many lunches / dinners with my family and friends here. Get there , get there now..... P.S. They do have take out too. Enjoy / Frank
