Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I'm kinda picky about pizza, and this is my favorite in MKE, followed closely by Balistreri's. Square slices, GREAT toppings (HATE bad sausage on pizza), medium thickness.

Glad this place is close to home. Not the best pizza I have ever had but it sure beats the chain places and I always LOVE supporting the local man. I felt it was a good value over all.

Takeout pizza was tasty. I liked that spinach and garlic are menu options. Lots of sauce is a good thing to me and DiStefano's was heavy handed = good to me! I would go back and get takeout pizza there again. I'm not sure it was the most reasonable price wise... $40 for a medium and smallest sizes.

I've had hundreds of their pizzas in my lifetime and am always satisfied. Anytime I'm now back in Wisconsin visiting my parents, we order here. They have a flavorful thin crust Italian style pizza. Lots of cheese and a slightly sweet sauce. Their Italian Sausage is the best. Peperoni is pretty good too. Garlic cheese bread does not disappoint. This isn't Little Caesars pricing here, but considering the quality, it is very reasonable. $16.50 for a large sausage pizza which will easily feed 3 people. They also have pasta, salads and subs, but I've never tried them. The owner's children went to the same grade school as mine, so my Dad knew him personally. May he rest in peace as he passed on back in 2006. His family has kept the tradition of this fine Italian Pizzeria going quite well. They do not have a dining room, so pickup or delivery only. We always went in to pickup our pizzas so we could say hello to the family. It is in a quiet southwest Milwaukee neighborhood, so you can easily park on the street right in front of the joint.

We have been looking for a new pizza place since we found out our go to place had closed. We've tried others in the neighborhood, but I have not been satisfied until we tried DiStefano's. This isn't your standard run of the mill pizza joint-they use great cheese, and their sausage is delicious. Their 18 inch feeds our family of pizza lovers! They are pricier, but this is good pizza. I can't speak to their other items, but try this pizza. It's worth it!!

We ordered an 18 inch and I believe they called it the Italian Goddess. It cost nearly $34 plus tip and took one hour to be delivered. A bit expensive, but we were lazy, and did not want to leave. There are some coupons online, but we do not have a printer, and it says that it needs to be printed...Err. Next time I will try and save $10 by using a coupon, picking it up, and saving on tip. Either way, the pizza was very good. I like their pizza because they have a very good red sauce, and they put a decent amount on. This makes it also very good to reheat. The place has other menu items, and I would not hesitate to try some other options. All-in-all, I we had a good experience.
