Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Super good. Very fresh food, rice was fried but not even oily like almost all Chinese places I've eaten from. Shrimp fried rice was fresh. Sesame chicken was done right! Not fake overly sweet imitation sauces. On top of all that, it's very reasonably priced! Definitely recommend.

First time at the China House. We had fast service and the food was very tasty. We will definitely be back.

I don't know what happened to this place! Shrimp egg roll was mush and tasted horrible, crab rangoon was bland and tasted bitter, the only saving grace is this place seems to know how to make egg fu young without burning it. I loved this place when it first opened and figured since I was in the neighborhood I'd stop and get something for old times sake...there probably won't be a next time I'm in the area stop.

Meh this is a pretty standard Chinese joint. It definitely is in an odd location. The food itself seemed to be made fresh to order, which I definitely appreciated. We ordered pork lo mien, general tso chicken, egg rolls and the boneless spare rib combo platter. The fried rice and lo mien were run of the mill. Lacking some in flavor. The boneless spare ribs weren't tender at all, which is what I look for. However the sauce was on point, so I enjoyed it none-the-less. The egg rolls and GT chicken were probably my favorite part of the meal. I have nothing else to compare this place to in the MKE area, so I don't know how it's rated next to other places. But prices were on point as well, so I'd definitely be willing to try this place again. My gf and I only ever order Chinese food once in a blue moon when we're craving really fatty food, so it won't be for a while. Place was clean and the lady was super friendly. Kids were hanging out in the dinning room and no one was there when I went.

Don't be put off by the looks. I was worried because it was very empty and was in a strip mall. But the food was good and if I happen to come back to Milwaukee I will be sure to stop by and get some food!

This is my first time here and I'm pretty impressed with the food. I wasn't sure what to expect since the location was in an odd place and the interior lacks in creativity. What I didn't like is that you have to order at the front desk before you can go sit down. Otherwise, the food is great. I ordered shrimp fried rice, beef with mushroom, fried shrimp, and mixed fresh vegetables. The mixed fresh vegetables came with a sauce on the side and tastes great when added in. Everything came out I'm about 10 mins, fresh and hot! The food tastes great and I would definitely come back.

I love this place. Consistently good, fast American Chinese. We always get crab Rangoon and general tso chicken. I've had other stuff but love the regular order.

Ordered online and it showed up 15 minutes later! This is the fastest delivery I've ever experienced. The food was good, too. I usually judge a Chinese restaurant by the quality of their shrimp lo mein and their egg rolls. Both were exactly as they should have been. I will definitely order from here again.

A friend recently recommended China House to me knowing my love of Chinese food (ironically we were out at a different Chinese restaurant when he made the recommendation). He extolled it as the best Chinese he has had, now those are words that will make my ears prick up. I think we all have a favorite Chinese joint and much to my dismay mine is 456 miles away (yes, I google-mapped it). Flying solo tonight and having what can only be described as a day from Hades I lacked neither the resolve to cook a healthy homemade meal, especially when all I really had the energy to do was stir a gin and tonic. I have a small problem when I'm allowed to go to a Chinese restaurant alone, I over order like bloody crazy. Tonight I walked out with beef and broccoli (large serving), a small serving of veggie lo mein and small hot and sour soup. Granted I was thinking ahead that the veggie lo mein would be perfect for lunch and would not be part of dinner. That doesn't mean I didn't sneak a few bites of it, and it was delicious. I asked for it to be spicy and it was. No sissy-mid-western spice either, this was full bodied heat and had lots of veggies. The hot and sour soup was great too, tons of mushrooms and shoots and whatever other mysterious magical vegitational things they put in hot and sour soup. It came with it's own little baggie of crispy won ton bits for a nice little crunchy kick. My only minor complaint was that I asked for the beef and broccoli to be spicy and it was decidedly not. Especially compared to the lo mein. Still, the broccoli was perfectly cooked and the beef tender, and the portion huge. after the soup I was barely able to eat 1/3 of my beef and broccoli. Leftovers are always good to have though. I will certainly be back to sample more of their food, I should of ordered some egg rolls- I consider them to be a key component of a Chinese food feast.

We were initially heading to another place, which ended up being closed, when I found China House through Yelp and figured we'd try it out. The place is small, but there is some seating. We ordered to eat in but had so much food we had to take some with us. It's not a sit down type of place really and so the food is served in to-go containers and you need but a lid to pack it up to go. We had steamed dumpling for an app which were quite tasty (most likely frozen). The menu is a standard list of Chinese dishes. We had General Tso's Chicken and Mongolian Beef, both were prepared fresh and served hot along with our rice. The dishes are tasty and well seasoned and definitely worth the price. Again, it's basically Chinese fast food and mostly designed for take out, but don't let its strip mall location fool you, the food is quite good.

I was hungry for Chinese, not having had any since relocating from Silicon Valley 4 months ago. My husband was on his way to Lowes, so I was just looking at the options along 27th St, on the way back. China House had a 3.6 Google Reviewers rating, which is pretty high for take out Chinese, so even without being able to see a Menu, I thought I'd give them a chance. I am SO glad I did! We ordered the Garlic Beef and Sweet and Sour chicken combos, that come with chicken fried rice and a pork egg roll. As I was dishing it up (we share) I could smell that the chicken for the Sweet and Sour was very freshly fried up. The chicken fried rice had strips of fresh SHREDDED chicken- not the canned and processed stuff you so often get. The egg rolls were flavorful, the vegetables were cooked PERFECTLY, and the sauces yummy. Everything was hot and clearly made up fresh. Oh yeah, and they advertise No MSG! So no headache or sick feeling after the meal. Honestly, the only thing keeping me from giving them 5 stars is that the fortune cookies were definitely stale. If I could, I'd only dock them half a star for that. Overall, it was a good value for fresh, delicious, food- the very best Chinese Take Out I've had in probably 20 years, despite living in heavily Asian neighborhoods for the past 13! We will definitely be going back!
