Looking for a breakfast place around Milton? You found it! I love my diner food and this place delivered it. I had their Eggs Benedict, it was yummy. My friend had the French Toast... also yummy. It was very busy, but we snatched a booth right away. Coffee soon followed and many water glass fill-ups. The price made the entire meal a deal. Parking is not an issue at all, the lot is shared with multiple businesses. If you have any shopping to take care of, you are in the middle of all kinds of quaint store fronts. Quick on seating. Quick on coffee. Quick on food. Friendly service and great prices.

Great food at an even better price!!! The owners and staff are all great and wonderful. Grew up in Milton and this was always the go to breakfast/brunch restaurant in the Janesville/Milton area. Keep up the good work! Might need to update a few of the booths and tables though.

This place is a steal for what you are getting! And, the service is awesome! The manager is super nice and walks around and talk to the customers. Their Friday night fish fry is yummy, especially the potato pancakes and the tartar sauce. Delicious! They close fairly early but are open until 9pm on Friday which works for me!

We like to support *local* eateries on our travels; Milton Family Restaurant is a definite thumbs up. Lunch featured a delicious patty melt and turkey club (both with fries). Both sandwiches were excellent. The service was spot on and the atmosphere was clean & calm. We also couldn't resist the cinnamon roll...YUM!

Very nice and clean family owned restaurant. Excellent breakfast with large portions and reasonable prices. Friday fish fry is good along with the Saturday prime rib special. You can't go wrong here...

We are from Chicago, and were traveling back home from Madison. We found this place on our GPS unit! We went in for breakfast on Sunday morning, and the place was hopping. We only had to wait maybe 5 minutes. Our waitress was great, and the food came out fast. I had a veggie omlette, hashbrowns and texas toast. The omlette was loaded with fresh vegetables. They definitely were not frozen, or from a mix. The hashbrowns were delicious as well as the texas toast. My boyfriend got a Hobo skillet, and he enjoyed it very much. We also ordered some biscuits and gravy. We don't eat this often at all, and it was SO GOOD! This place was a nice change from the chain places like Perkins and Cracker Barrel which I am not very fond of. This place was a family owner diner where the locals go. It was nice to find a little gem like this. We loved it, and if we ever travel that way again we will remember to stop at Miltons!

If you've ever been to Milton, WI you know that it's the kind of town that you could blink and miss. However, Milton was the epicenter of my childhood during summer camping trips at Blackhawk Campground and now that I'm an adult, Milton remains my summer stomping grounds for more Blackhawk camping. It's become nearly traditional that we head to Milton Family Restaurant for "morning-after" food, when we're hungover and catching up on the antics of the night before. I have a soft spot for Milton Family Restaurant now because of this, but I also really like the way this family diner makes me feel. Just look around on a Saturday or Sunday morning and you'll see Milton families with their parents, their grandparents, sisters, friends...it's the gathering place. We always have great service here. The wait staff are always prompt in bringing our order(s) and beverages, and just as prompt in cleaning off our table when we're done with our breakfast. The service is consistent and I appreciate that. I hate nothing more than getting hit-and-miss service at a ma & pop-type place. I have had pancakes, eggs, egg sandwich, cottage cheese, coffee, orange juice, etc. here, while my friend usually grabs a greasy cheeseburger to cure her "morning-after". The food, like the service, is consistent and pretty good. If you're looking for a knock-out, sensational, incredible breakfast, then I'm not sure what you're doing in Milton, WI in the first place. But if you're looking for a family-style, down-home vibe while drinking diner-grade coffee, this place is it!

We usually go here for a local breakfast on the weekends. Pretty decent food and great service. Love how they give the kids a quarter on the way out to buy something out of the machines - great family atmosphere and small town touch.

I love this little family-owned restaurant. Great food and great prices. Make sure not to miss the hot turkey sandwich! This is a fantastic meal at a super-low price made with REAL fresh-roasted turkey and served with mashed potatoes, stuffing and gravy. I would order it at twice the price!
