I went here for a Packer game recently and had a really great experience. I from out of town and Ballyshoos paid for our group's cab to and from the hotel, which is what originally inspired us to give this place a try. Glad we did. When we got there it was a "wrist band party" so for $5 it was all you can drink Miller Lite during the game, which is super affordable. After the game, a bunch more people showed up at the bar for a reggae band and "beach party," so everyone was wearing tropical shirts and dresses. It was unexpected and fun. For dinner, everyone from my group got the "Bally Breezer" sandwich. It was amazing. It's a beef patty, shaved prime rib, american cheese, and BBQ sauce on texas toast. In no way was this healthy, but it was delicious. The the prime rib was tender, texas toast buttery, and the whole thing just melted in your mouth. Overall, the people were nice, drinks cheap, and atmosphere fun. Would definitely go back.

This is my favorite kind of place. Nothing fancy but full of history with real wood bar & tin ceiling plus the people - especially the owner / are fabulous! So kind & friendly like a big family & they all welcomed me. Good food great drinks & she even gave me some free desserts to take to my hotel room since I travel for work. Glad I asked the ranger lady at state park where to go get lunch & listened to her! The hours posted here were in error saying it was closed on Sunday but that is not true. Everyone in here rooting for Green Bay packers as they are winning over ravens! Woo hoo!!

Not Impressed with the food or service met the woman manager and was a bit on the rude side when asked to fix my order. So I do not plan on going back unless they line up a damn good band.

This was an unexpected gem to find on our way back south from northern Wisconsin. Excellent pub food - try the Bally Breezer - a burger with two cheeses, bacon, sliced prime rib, BBQ sauce on Texas toast with a side of horseradish sauce. This restaurant is extremely casual but with helpful, friendly staff and free tastes available of their 16 beers on tap.

Worth a stop if looking to patronize local business. We stopped in while camping in the area. Food was great and the waitress even offered us free homemade strawberry shortcake!

I give this place 3 stars for food and 4 stars for the actual bar/entertainment. In a small town of 10,000 people there aren't too many options for live music. I have been there probably a handful of times and they have had a band playing everytime. Most of their acts are local or regional, but they are diverse (with a focus on rock/grassroots). The food is slightly above average, but it's a bar...your typical fried foods with some other entres like friday fish, mexican, and pizza that is home made. They recently expanded in to the neighboring building in order to offer a more traditional restaurant setting. Overall, I like the place. But I wish they would have a game schedule for their bartenders....if the Brewers or Bucks are on TV, it probably doesn't hurt to have them on the telly.
