One of the best Fish Fry's I have ever had. I go here for the fish fry. When I have guest visiting from out of town, this is the place I we go to eat fish. It is a typical college bar/restaurant. Very noisy when the restaurant/bar is packed. The décor is rustic; however it over looks lake Menomin. I have been here for lunch on occasion -- food was good. Once again the FISH FRY is fantastic on FRIDAYS.

This place has really upped its game recently....fantastic food in a great and fun environment. Bartenders are on the ball and know how to treat customers well. The fish fry is the best around, hands down. I would give it 5 stars, but nothing is perfect. 4.9 is not out of the question though.

The interior is nothing speical, but the patio in the summertime is great. They recently re-did the menu, and I'd reccomend having dinner there some summer evening. The view over Lake Menomin is great! Oh, and Wednesday is quarter-tappers! WHooo!

"Rustic" is an euphemistic way to describe the decor of this place. Definitely got the laid-back, dive-y bar/lake house feel to it. Food was pretty bad and the service was definitely slow. Granted we had a large group, but it took almost 2 hours for lunch. Ordered the wings and fries (decent) and the chicken wrap (disgusting). Most things were edible, but in no way delicious. I love this place!!! I first went here for their Wing Wednesday special, but now I am here all the time because I love the atmosphere, other food options, and the wait staff are really nice. The best time to visit is during the summer when you can sit on the deck and over look lake Menom. The prices are $7-13 and you get plenty to fill you. I love their beer batter fries and buffalo chicken wrap! Their drinks are strong. It's also a good place to start your bar crawls at or hang around for when they bring a band in. Great place!!

Nice view of the lake. I went on a Friday for the baked fish special. Options were cod and stuffed swordfish. The cod was prepared well, but swordfish was a little dry. Waitress service seemed to be new because she didn't know the menu at all (e.g., when I asked what type of fish was on the special and what the stuffing was she had to keep going back inside to ask someone).

Waterfront is a great place to go for food, especially when it's warm enough to sit out on the deck. They have great burgers and sandwhiches, my favorite is the Black Bean Burger. The Wednesday Wing special is great as well. I recommend going for lunch on Wednesdays as it can get crazy busy in the evening. The wings aren't tossed in a lot of sauce, so if you prefer saucy wings I'd recommend the Extreme wings. They are the closest to normal hot wings. As a bar, Waterfront is a fun place to Ed the night. They make great White Russians. It can get a little crowded when they have live music- especially Charlie Parr, so plan to arrive earlier in the night for a show.

EXCELLENT FOOD! What a variety of good food! This is a college style bar so don't be surprised seeing young people eating and getting hammered at Noon but the food is amazing. The first two times we went here it was so busy there was no seats. So i figured it has to be good. CORRECT! The atmosphere is a typical bar but in the summer you can sit outside and enjoy the sun and the smelly lake! I give this a 5/5 because the 3 times i have been here the food was amazing and my only regret is that i couldn't keep eating because i was full.

The view on the back deck saves this place otherwise you need to really check your expectations because there is better food and drinks to be had. Our hostess who had an "I set out running but I take my time" ("A friend of the Devil is a friend of mine..") t-shirt on crammed six of us into a medium sized booth and when we inquired about moving to a larger empty table with more room right behind us, mumbled something about that screwing our server up, so screw us. But we liked our server Grace a lot, and I guarantee you we would have taken her to a new table. So be ready for just about anything here, it's loose and the BEAST is present. Grace was great at explaining the menu and getting our drinks going, and that was good because it easily took 45 minutes for our food to show up, so the steady drink service WAS appreciated. Friday night Fish Fry, wasn't that busy, the only thing I can figure is that we did have a couple baked orders and maybe they let them thaw first? The good news is WE had the baked fish and they were easily triple the size of the fried fish which was medium breaded so you do the math on that poor little starved fried fish fillet. Fried would have appeared to be the way to go in this place, and you would have been wrong. Beer definitely, although the chardonnay wasn't too bad, Pinot no. Food in no way memorable other than some perfectly undercooked asparagus in a garlic butter. We were here a loong time, long enough for a band to be set up for about two hours, ("The Not Quite Dead Yet", Roadies def dead ;~), and really observe the flow here. The flow seemed to be everybody in the place seemed to be part of the band or friend of the band and they got fed first. It almost appeared like people came off the street or off the back deck to serve your food. Might just be a steady stream of people quitting and going in and out of the kitchen on their way out. No aprons or uniforms unless tattoos count, I think they do. So head for the back deck or head somewhere else. The Burger King has the same great view and is just so much faster, BYOB.

Very loud crowded bar that overlooks the lake. Not enough tables on the deck so had to settle for sitting inside and looking at the lake thru a throng of people. I had the black bean burger and wasn't that great. Hubby had the Piggy and loved it. I will say the beer battered fries were the best part of the meal. The krinkle kut fries I got were soggy.

Waited what seemed like forever for food. Half was warm other half cold. Oh yeah they got my order wrong too. Go to log jam only thtee blocks away and much better food and service

Had lunch on the deck with a view of Lake Menomin. The view and location are pleasant. Be prepared to wait for a long time for your food whether or not the place is busy. Food took over an hour to arrive and we ordered nothing complex (order placed at 11:30 am and arrived after 12:30). One order was further delayed because a new batch of fries was being made. Food was mediocre - same bar food as any other of the thousands of bars in western wisconsin. Bloody mary tasted old. Not a great use of our time.

Super chill atmosphere. Turkey Jalapeño burger was amazing. Great way to spend a random Tuesday night while in town for work. College crowd at the bar. Families at the tables when I walked in. I suppose that means it warrants a recommendation to any one.
