Ted's is the greatest pizza in the world, hands down. The family owning it has run it since before I was born. Awesome people. The crust is the star of the show; light, flaky, almost pie crust like. Sweet spicy sauce and local made cheese and great sausage. I only stop craving this pizza when I eat way too much. The service is no frills, the gyros are good. Try the Zeus if you really want a gyro though. Spotted cow and farmers daughter on tap is pretty awesome for a local pizza shop. This pizza has beat any pizza I've ever had. Now I know that personal taste for pizza style is important, thin is mine, but there is a harmony about all the components of this pizza that goes beyond that. Love you Teds!!

Sooo.. after today's experience we are done going here. We have always said that the service wasn't that great and today was the last straw. Our waitress got our order and it was the last time she visited us. She had 2 tables and decided the other one was more important. A different waitress brought us our food...and didn't even say a word to us..and then no one came to our table after that. No bill.. no box..no "how is everything??". Nope..cold shoulder. My husband and I were very disappointed. :( We actually had to bring our pizza to the front counter and ask for the bill and a box. Our waitress was clearly NOT BUSY and clearly IGNORING us..and for what? We were polite..easy going..it WAS our favorite pizza place so we don't know why we were treated so poorly. :( We drove 40 mins to eat here!! When we paid the bill and turned to leave, we could clearly hear all the wait staff laughing and snickering at us. WE HAVE NEVER BEEN SO DISRESPECTED BEFORE. And actually probably never will be because they just lost our business. Skip this place.

Sprecher on tap. Also spotted cow. Yeah. Greek salad was good. The thinly sliced pepperoncini and feta were good combo withe crisp lettuce and greek dressing. Thin crust pizza was great. Tangy sauce was great and the cheese has a little twang from a blend of cheeses I think. Overall, great service and good college pizza dining experience. Will be back.

The gyro was ok, but strangely enough for me (since I'm usually a meat lover) too much meat and not enough tomato and onion. Also, I found it strange that there was no lettuce. Finally, the pita seemed undercooked and doughy.

While passing through town it was time for a quick meal. Thought Ted's did a nice enough job. The pizza could have been charred just a bit more for my taste, but it was competent 'Midwestern style' pizza that was good. The Greek Salad would have been better if it had been dressed versus dressing-on-the-side (one of my personal pet peeves). The room's a bit cavernous, or at least it seemed so on a slow Wednesday night. But, the dining area was nice and clean, and the kitchen is out for all of us to see (and also looked nice and clean). I won't try to interject into what appears to be the running debate of Menomonie of Jeff's versus Ted's -- Only been to the one. Maybe next time I'm passing through...

This is a great place for families/large groups. We're new to the area, and wanted to be sure to check out what Menomonie had as far as pizza. We sat in a booth that was more than roomy enough for three people. I had a beer (New Glarus' Spotted Cow) that I thought was a bit pricey for the amount I received (small mug for $3.50), even if it is a WI indie brew. We ordered garlic bread for an appetizer, and it was basically Texas Toast (but still good). Two of us (and a toddler) split a large pizza, which had extra cheese, and 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 green olives. The sauce was surprisingly sweet, and the crust extremely thin (crispy on the edge, and extremely soft/limp on the inside. In the end, the food didn't scream AMAZING, but it got the job done, especially for the price (Saturday special was Large 2-topping for $12.50). Would I go here again? Definitely. Have I found my favorite pizza place in the area? I hope not.

Ted's Pizza Palace is the 'little guy' in town when it comes to pizza places. Many UW-Stout students are addicted to Jeff's because they eat it so often when socializing late at night after the bars. Ted's doesn't cater to the bar crowd and they lose some demographic that way, but they have superior pies. Ted's serves authentic Greek style pizza pies. Paper thin crusts cut into squares with plenty of greasy cheese melted on top and the toppings tucked under the cheese layer. They have other tasty menu items like boneless wings, pastas and sandwiches. Ted's has great prices, and specials every day of the week. I love Ted's and always order from there, not 'that other pizza place' down the street on Main. If you love thin crust pizza than Ted's is the perfect authentic Greek experience right in the heart of Menomonie. Serving the community since 1970!

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century.
