Love this oasis of a place on a sunny summer day. Friendly service. Umbrella'ed tables are plentiful over looking the Southern tip of Lake Winnebago. Nachos appetizer is huge but hold the onions. Fried Wisconsin Platter is what you expect of it. The two appetizers were more than two women could finish for dinner. And we really liked the raspberry lemonade. Yummy. Baby Boomers at Happy Hour making way for younger and younger as the night progresses on a Thursday night.

Great in the summer. Dead in the winter....... It works. Good bar food. If you are not a raw fooder. Ha

Not very impressed by the service or the food offered at Waverlh Beach. We came on a slow Sunday night. But service was very slow, even though they were well over staffed. The food tasted like it all came from the freezer and had been microwaved. They did have a very lively and entertaining bar! But it didn't make up for the lack in food and service.

Nacho Supreme was not very Supreme, $9 for a bunch of chips, luke warm cheese and very little meat. The staff not very friendly and a bartender that can't make an old fashion in Wisconsin. Come on Man! Won't go out of my way to visit this place again.

Average bar , on the lake so that's cool. Pretty fun in summer with big tiki bar outside . Winter is pretty lame as all the sturgeon are speared on the south end of the lake now days . Service pretty much is on the slow side , food ok . Halfway decent place to go .

People complain because the place is busy?? To me that is a sign that people like the place, drink prices the same as any larger bar...love the bartenders always seem polite and work hard when the tiki bar is packed. Can't wait for summer!

Went here for Superbowl, it was so cold in th bar we had to leave before halftime.

Had our Christmas party for work here. Enjoyed their giant nacho platter.

Friday Fish very unimpressive. The baked haddock was superbly dry and the seasoning was awful. The old fashioneds were made with a mix that was sweeter than pure sugar. The service was ok, we were never asked how dinner was or we would have told how we felt. They're officially off our Friday Night Fish Fry rotation.

This place always seems to be busy. In the winter alot of snowmobiles go there off the lake and summer boaters. Nice relax outdoor dining tiki bar. Entertanment on on the deck in summer. Nice burger place very casual but just nice to kick back and enjoy being by the lake.

Food and service are good when they're not busy. As soon as it gets busy the service times and food quality plummet. I've only eaten outside, and again as soon as it gets busy it becomes difficult to navigate around the tables as the larger parties of people spread out and the kids running around.

The best thing about this place is the beautiful view you have of Lake Winnebago. Maybe it's the view that makes them a little pricier than your regular bar with food and fish fry place. We split a seafood platter. It came with 3 scallops, 3 large shrimp, a smaller piece of haddock and 2 small perch butterflies. We opted for fries. Cole slaw and rye bread with butter completed the meal. The price was $15.95. The perch was awesome. Scallops were big and decent. The shrimp and haddock were both "beer battered". Underneath the batter the shrimp were big and moist, the haddock was a little dry. The batter ruined them. It was a seasoned batter, not sure seasoned with what? Usually beer batter is crunchy and crisp. These were soggy and soft. The coleslaw hadn't been chilled thru. Fries are fries but these were a little limp. Cocktail sauce and tarter sauce were below average. Drinks and shots were a little more $$. The staff was friendly.

Tiki hut, a carona, waves crashing... am I in Mexico? Nope, in Wisconsin. OK the water is dirty not blue and the patrons aren't tan and skinny... but hey, the hot wings were good! Pizza not bad. Nachos amusement park style. Atmosphere... fantastic. The bartender makes up where the food leaves off. Eat at the bar.

Wisconsin's answer for those wanting to get away and pretend they are in California somewhere. Tiki bars, live music, fish fry nights, seafood nights, tan girls serving you food and drinks, outdoor dining......they wanted to give that eternal summer feeling, and they do it well. I didn't eat here, we just stopped in for a few drinks. Like Fratellos it is on the river or lake or whatever that body of water (can you tell I'm not from here?) and there are plenty of people taking advantage of the nice summer weather, and enjoying their cocktails and beer outside on the patio or at the Tiki Bar. Rumor is also, that alot of the area's teachers like to break here for happy hour.....in fact we ran into a few while getting our drinks.

Horrible service. My Wrap also fell apart too easily when I ate it. The nachos were extremely cheap. Drinks were expensive

This review is not for the restaurant but the water just off the shore. Located on the north shore of Lake Winnebago, this is a great place to (literally) drop anchor. It's one of the few places on the lake with a nice sandy bottom - from 1 ft to 3 ft deep. Bring your own beer, blare the radio and toss around a football. Lots of people like to gather here and soak up the sun. If you run out of beer you can always walk to shore and order one from this restaurant/bar. When a band is in town, just turn down the radio and let the notes make their way over the waves.

Decent fish fry can't make up for terrible service--the waitress blamed our large party (about 10) for the slow service, but other parties were waiting a long time as well. The wait was truly awful--over an hour. How long can it take to fry some fish?
