I came just for a coffee. My regular Colombian brew tasted like almond/hazelnut and smelled even less like coffee. Couldn't find a smile on any employees. Not a great way to start the day.

I live within 15 miles away and the first time I stopped here was last week when I wanted to grab a coffee before driving a few hours. I had a yummy caramel latte and I actually wished I would of grabbed a bite to eat because the menu looked good as well as the breakfast that some of the regulars were enjoying. I did stop in here a second time and saw a few people working so I asked the lady at the counter if there was wireless and she said yes I said oh that's great I work from home and it would be nice to have a change of pace. She was very rude and said well we'd prefer you not work here all day since we do not have much room. If you are going to come don't come during like 9-11 and 11-1. I was like really? And she was like yeah. So if you are going to turn away business I will take it elsewhere. I'd probably buy a coffee and or breakfast/lunch and recommend it to friends and leave a good review but now I don't know if I will be back unless it's to grab a quick coffee on the go.

One of the best coffee shops I've ever been in. Quaint and rustic with wooden floors and original brick walls. The menu is handwritten and lends itself to the cozy atmosphere. The breakfast and the veggie lunch sandwiches are fresh and delicious. On a cold winter day I highly recommend the hot chocolate that seems to be made with fresh ingredients and not powdered mix. Since it's a coffee shop, I should also mention that the coffee is also very good. I'm not sure how they do it, but every cup has been consistently good -- the irish, the mocha, the cinnamon -- all outstanding each and every time I've been there. The free wifi is a big plus too. Although the daily grind isn't open late it's still worth the trip if you're in the area and want an early bite to eat in a small venue away from the crowds. Daily Grind can get very busy during rush lunch hours, but the food is worth the small wait. I don't get to Marshfield often, but when I do, the Daily Grind is a must-stop for me.

Classic coffee shop and cafe! Rustic wood floors and tables with exposed brick walls and (literally) lots of classic photos and grinders and coffee pots. Fun mix of the past and hipster feel coffee. And, of course, the reason you go to s coffee shop - I had the brew of the day a Jamaican Me Crazy. Cheezy name, but great flavor! Bought a pound of beans to bring home. We had lunch there. Both ordered sandwiches, which were pretty good overall but quite greasy. Had quite a good variety of sandwiches on the menu.

Great place. Cozy, good food and they import Alterra coffee, which makes me HAPPY.

Best coffee by far. Just order your favorite latte and a grinder, then just sit back and relax.

To be in the wilds of WI and find a gem like this: not corporate, locally owned, passionate people, great sandwiches, salads, and good coffee.... With abut more Crema would be perfect. Vote w yer bucks...eat here!

What a rare find in the middle of Marshfield! A few of my relatives recommended this place and I decided to finally check it out. I was a bit taken back because most "coffee" places in the area cater to the 60+ crowd. The daily grind has a great feel and they serve a large assortment of healthy and tasty food. I should note that this isn't just a coffee shop, it's a breakfast and lunch location as well. My only complaint is that the ordering counter is way in the back which made it feel a bit odd for selecting a table. I wasn't sure if we should wait to be seated or not....answer, grab a seat after you order.

Amazing coffee, Amazing food. Free wi-fi. Perfect for breakfast, lunch, or anytime between for a zippy pick-me-up. Also has an eclectic mix of merchandise. From cool shirts to fine chocolate to cool coffee merchandise, a quick peruse is definitely in order.
