Interesting bar/restaurant in the north woods. They are famous for their bloody Mary's ($8.75) but I haven't tried it. I've had several meals here but my favorite was the Ruben. It's huge. My boyfriend had the prime rib sandwich and it was loaded with peppers and onions. Our waitress was new but found out the answers to questions she didn't know rather than tell us misinformation. The ordering is done on iPads by the waitstaff so ordering took a while since she was trying to figure things out. No worries- you're in the woods... You should have time. :)

Initially came for lunch with my Wife and found out if you get a Bloody Mary ( delicious! ) you don't have room for much else. Over the top relishes and just the right amount of spice. Did I mention DELICIOUS! We have stated bringing business associates here to experience another reason to enjoy the Wisconsin Northwoods. They always seem to pull out their cameras to text a picture back to their families and associates. Sandwiches, wraps and burgers are solid fares and priced fairly for what you are getting. Sit outside and enjoy the area!

Positives: Friendly business. Feels like it's a nice family run. Outdoor seating. Plenty of parking. Easy to find. Bloody Marys. Clean bar. Negatives: Food is average. Ordered a fish fry and only ate about half of it. Our appetizer wasn't fully cooked. Outdoor seating lacks charm - it faces the highway. Overall, I'd go there for a cocktail but I wouldn't return for food. If I did return for food, it would be to support a local friendly business. Long story short: go there, but have low expectations.

I mean considering that there is really not much else in the area, this is an okay option. I've been coming here since I was a whee young'un and back then I of course thought this place was the creme de la creme of restaurants. Not so much anymore though. They boast about their wings, which ultimately are pretty much the worst wings I've had. Surely don't order these expecting something similar to what you'd find at Buffalo Wild Wings. For, in true Wisonsin-style, Mulligans must fry their wings for probably four times as long as regular wings, plus their wings have hardly any meat on them. Add to that a disgusting sauce that is strewn onto the plate and you have yourself something real appetizing...for a bear maybe. I've ordered different sandwiches here multiple times and am always disappointed. The bread had potential before is was left to soak in a stick of butter for awhile; it ends up coming out super greasy and soggy as you can probably imagine. Basically, all elements of the sandwich, whether it be a chicken sandwich or a ham sandwich are thwarted by the butter-laden bread and excessive amounts of low-quality cheese. Their pizza is standard. Not delicious. Not disgusting. But very cheesy. The only thing I've heard positive feedback on with this place is their wraps. Though I've never ordered one myself, I hear they are pretty good. Service is hit or miss and largely depends on what waiter you have at this place. One lady I had here was super rude, but then the next time I came I had the complete opposite experience with a super attentive, informative, and polite waiter. Generally this is a good lunch/dinner spot because, unlike many of the town's remaining restaurants, Mulligans isn't completely devoted to being a bar - there's more of an even-ish balance between restaurant and bar at this place.

Delicious! I had the bronco Blt and it was delicious! Chippers were yummy too! Hubby got unlimited wings and said they were quite meaty and pretty good sauce. Would come back when we visit again next year!

They have pretty meaty wings with legend Larry's sauce. I thought they were pretty good. Kids meals were fine. Corn nuggets were ok too.

I've been coming here since it opened, and between myself and my family I've tried nearly everything. First, the drinks. Possibly on the expensive side for the area, but cheap compared to city prices. Good selection of draft beers, including a couple WI microbrews. The old-fashioned sweet/sour are quite popular, and pretty strong - I'd recommend going with one of these. The bar area is usually pretty talkative, contributing to a nice atmosphere if you're alone or with one other. The food is hit or miss. Some of the dishes are enormous: the wraps, the taco salad, the chicken wings... others are just so-so: chili, pizza, grilled cheese, other salad. I'd stick to their sandwiches and burgers, and definitely try the homemade "chippers". Just be prepared for enormous portions in this category. The food prices are reasonable as well. Bottom line: it's nicer than the bars in downtown Lakewood, and much more family-friendly. If you want a menu with many choices, decent drinks, and an innocent crowd, then make your way over here.

The food is decent. You're not going to find a lot of choices in this part of WI; however, every time I have eaten here, the food was good. The service is HORRIBLE. The staff ...they are great. It is the OWNERS....arrogant, rude and complain about customers. My husband and I could not believe the rude conversation the owner was having. We are not going back unless forced. We'll give someone else in the small town business...these people do not deserve ours.
