Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Tried their pizza out for the first time for carryout, could not beat the price and the pizza was pretty darn good. Service was fast and friendly, we would definitely order the thin crust again!

Have been ordering from Valeo's for 30-plus years. Their pizza is delicious. This is the only place I get pizza from. I love the Carnivore, thin crust.

My favorite pizza place in Kenosha. Their thin crust is crispy; their vegetables are fresh. Not too much sauce, cheese is tasty not bland. Really friendly service. I usually get a pepperoni pizza with black olives, mushrooms, and green peppers (8" is great for one person - under $10). It is not a sit-down place - it's delivery or to-go.

Okay, I'm not a pizza snob. But I do expect a lot when a place wins an award. After reading that they won a local award for their pizza, we had to try it out. We got 2 stuffed pizzas and a calzone. Being from Chicago, the stuffed pizza was a solid 3/5 (translation, 60%), but nothing more, and not up to the hype we read and heard from others. They put the sauce in a small cup on the side, which was NOT enough sauce. It should have also come with a small cup of Parmesan to sprinkle on because all the top pizza places do that as a finishing touch. The toppings were inadequate, and the calzone barely had any meat in it and was way overpriced for its size. And same thing, not enough sauce. That said, it was good but there's better. Kaiser's, Sal's, and Renzo's!

Grew up on this Pizza when I was little. Huge in size and Huge in flavor. Single handedly the greatest pizza I've ever tasted!! Planning on taking a few of their "We make it you bake it" pizzas home with me in a few months when I go back to Kenosha. And I live in KY if that tells you anything??

A classic Kenosha pizzeria...it is take out/delivery only , and they have a great selection on their menu. Their Spinach pizza is fantastic!!

I ordered last night and due to storms in the area and sirens going off, they had to cancel my order. :( I spoke with the manager and he comped the order for me for a future date! :) Not only does Valeo's have the best pizza and wings in town, they have over the top customer service!!!!! Thanks Valeo's!! You are the only pizza place in Ktown for me!

Stuffed spinach pizza... That's really all you need to know. It's delicious. Some of the other specialty pizzas they make are ok, but the spinach pizza is a favorite. Whenever I call in a order the people on the phone are typically friendly-ish. Delivery times are in line with other pizza places in town.

Ordered delivery to the local brewery. Said it would be 45 to an hour...it was. Pizza was pretty good, cheesy bread was better. No complaints.

I have tried a lot of pizza here in Kenosha and FINALLY found the taste that have been looking for! At any length I will go for Valeo's Pizza -- even have got my friends and family members in agreement. Mmmmmmmm Valeo's Pizza Kitchen Kenosha.

Chicago, born and raised so I'm proud of my pizza heritage. This place has some of the best crust I've ever eaten. Bready, crispy, fluffy, toasty... Perfect. Loads of delicious cheese, not too much, though. The veggies are fresh and it shows through the aroma and taste. The sausage is quite enjoyable, too. Just the right amount of spice for flavor. The sauce is fresh and sweet but not too sweet and with a great tanginess. I would order from this place ALL THE TIME if I lived close enough.

Losing your touch Valeos!! Never had a problem until now besides their online site being incorrect with prices and add ons. Ordered the perch and it sure don't look anything like the picture. Fries were soggy and the tarter sauce is definitely not edible unless you want a very long weekend over the commode! Fish might as well have been described as big fish stick out of the freezer section at your local grocer. Extremely disappointed. Get it together!!!

Valeo's Pizza Kitchen is the quintessential 'Mom and Pop" italia restaurant. Hailing from Kenosha, it's hard to make any one italian restaurant stand out from the next. Well maybe not, maybe it just comes down to having better food and setting up shop in a white box of a building. Valeo's will set you up right with the finest Italian take-out or delivery in Kenosha. Try everything on the menu! They offer specials like buy one get one free sandwiches or fish dinners most every night of the week. All the goods are great here, so you'll have one satisfying dinner. The pizza can range from a crunchy thin crust to a deep dish straight out of Chicago. All have a wonderful, hand-made, anti-pizza chain awesomeness infused in each morsel. You'll know you're eating the real deal. Since you're going to get hooked, Valeo's offers a coupon program that gets you free food. Now who doesn't want some super awesome free food!? Enough said. Make it a Valeo's weekend.

Used my restaurant.com coupon that I bought previously and got $10 off an order of more than $15. I would suggest checking that app/ website out if you'd like a good deal. On a Friday night I ordered a pizza for pick up and was looking online at the menu and it was very user friendly but wound up calling anyway. The person taking my order was very accommodating polite and very customer oriented. Online there is an option of adding a free baked cheesy bread with a purchase of a 16 in pizza. I would highly suggest adding this to your order! Although the parking at the restaurant was a little crowded i got in and out quickly and my pizza was ready and hot when I arrived. The baked cheesy bread was fabulous. Crispy one inch crust on the outside with melted mozzarella cheese in the middle. The marina dipping sauce had a little kick to it which was a great twist. The thin crust pizza was tasty and crispy on the edges. The toppings were plentiful and fresh. If you have never tried valeos before I would check it out- especially the weekly specials!
