After trying every Chinese restaurant in town over the past few years, this place easily has the best food. But, be forewarned, they also have the most impolite service, perhaps of any business you've ever visited! Just try to think of them as the 'Soup Nazi' of Chinese food! But if customer service and being treated politely is your 'thing' then this place definitely isn't for you. With that having been said, I still go there whenever I'm in the mood for Chinese food because it's the best in Kenosha.

Food is good, and the woman they have at the counter is very nice. ( They had some kid working there before and he was rude enough not to want to go there again). But we did go back, and the new girl more than makes up for his lack of manners Prices are very good and they are fast.

Wok to another Chinese restaurant. The service is awful. As Laura L. stated in a previous review, they give you the impression that you are bothering them from doing something other than taking your order and making your food. I had Chinese food from here on multiple occasions, both carry-out and delivery. It took an hour-and-a-half to finally get my dinner the last time I ordered. The food was cold, sauce was all over the inside of the bag, and unfortunately the fortune cookies were stale. Your fortune: Avoid Hong Kong Restaurant. Lucky numbers: 9, 15, 16 23, 45. Chinese translation [jí huài de] {adj.} Awful.

The food is delicious and sold at a fair price. Even though they have an accent, they are very polite and their English vocabulary is just fine. I order from them often and I've always been very happy. They recently started taking credit cards, but only Visa and Mastercard. They didn't take any cards before and that was a huge pain. Also, don't eat inside the restaurant. This is very much a take-out place; the tables should only be for people waiting for their food to arrive because it is not a dine-in environment.

This place is the crummiest dump in all of the world! They are so rude here it is unbelievable!.. I kid you NOT... when I walked in the man literally said " aaah shit" plenty loud enough for me to hear.. unbelievable! He was very upset that it was 9:45, they close at 10 and I was there wanting to order takeout... needless to stay I left.. Also the place was a pit and I smelled like a butt after being in there a whole 5 seconds... I can't believe people spend their hard earned money on that garbage... eek methinks NOT NOT NOT

Over the past year or so the food has gone downhill. The General's Chicken is definitely way too sweet and barely spicy now. We loved it here so we kept giving them chances but the food just keeps getting worse. We are now currently searching for a good Chinese restaurant near home again :(

The food is above average, but there is also not a lot of places to eat on this side of the town...Forget all the bad reviews, this is a place that's mainly meant for carryout. Its not nice inside and the customer service isn't the greatest. But then again, who the hell cares. Stop being cry babies or whining females. Especially the girl whos complaining about how mad they were that you came to order food 15 minutes before they closed. Who seriously comes in 15 minutes before a place closes? Especially a place that serves food. This place has above average food, nothing special and nothing bad. The rude person people is some kid that has been working there for probably over ten years. Hes probably the owners kid and he probably hates working there, he cracks me up. I would be mad if I had to work here everyday since I was a teenager too. This place has been right around the corner from where I grew up and I have been going there for 15 years, there is a reason it is still open. They now have a girl working the register that is nicer. But its got decent food, if you want to nit pick about everything and want someone to kiss your ass when you walk in the door...... I guess go somewhere else. For me, I want my food, no one kissing my ass and to go home. This place is worth trying, especially on this side of town that has almost no other places else to eat. The food is good and the customer service has never bothered me at all. Matter of fact, I think its hilarious. I would recommend this place and im picky about food. 7 out of 10.

Pretty decent Chinese take out. Probably closer to 3 and 1/2 stars. However, don't be fooled. This is almost strictly take out. There is only one table here and this place usually has a decent crowd of people ordering or picking up.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
