What a great place. Service was perfect, all the employees were super nice. And the food was better than all of the above. I had the very aptly named Amazing beef sandwich. This sandwich was so good, I enjoyed every bite. Make sure you try the daily homemade soup, also fantastic.

I loved the freshness of the food at Daily Dose! Everything seemed to be made from scratch, to order, and with really fresh ingredients. They had a great menu with a lot unique but still appealing choices, and the prices are very reasonable. A con of my sandwich (daily special of veggies, quinoa, and cheese) was that the ingredients were not chopped small enough and the bread wasn't sturdy enough to to support everything so it totally fell apart as you ate it... it was still delicious though! There is not room for groups larger than four inside but luckily my group of 6 was able to get a table outside. Service was not bad but just ok; just a few little things like trying to clear plates while you're still eating. Overall everyone in my group loved their choices so if you're looking for fresh, stop in!

In town visiting family for 13 days, it's day 7 and we've already been here twice, and will probably be here again, that's how good the food was! We've had the awesome beef and the herbi all veggie sandwich, as well as the california turkey. All were fantastic, with the awesome beef being my favorite. It is a small restaurant with a few tables inside, and some more outside. Seems like it would get really busy on weekends with the limited seating. Staff has been very friendly and accommodating. We were caught in heavy rain today, and decided to wait it out under the umbrella by our table. Our server ran out with an umbrella for us and just gave it to us outright! Highly recommended!

Always great service! Great coffee! Great food! All the staff makes you feel welcomed as soon as you set foot in the door!

A very solid breakfast...it's not quite Frank's, but still amazing. I'm new to Kenosha, and greatly impressed by the great breakfast/brunch options. This is a close second to the best place in town. If you don't want to deal with a long line, this place is tops. Oh, and they use a Milwaukee coffee roaster that's just fantastic.

Definitely 5 stars! One of the best little cafes we have enjoyed in some time! Unique menu and great food! Staff is very friendly, efficient and appreciates their customers.

I'd been wanting to try Daily Dose for a while and finally got the chance with these cold days off. I wasn't disappointed. Cozy little place. Friendly staff. Got the French Toast Panini and the mild Colectivo coffee. Delicious. Took a bite of the M.S.G. Panini and that was just as good. Can't wait to go back and try something else on the menu!

One word... awesome! The tuna and artichoke sandwich is phenomenal and the french toast panini is out of this world!

I've tried this place a few different times because how well received it is by virtually everyone else. Needless to say, I had a very different experience. On to the food... How do you mess up a breakfast sandwich???? It's eggs, cheese and sausage on a croissant, not that hard to make. I would call their "breakfast sandwich", "Old Casserole On a Bun". I'm trying to wrap my head around how this place has gotten such rave reviews...I also ordered biscuits and gravy, simple enough, right? Nope. I make biscuits and gravy all the time from home and they're pretty easy to make, but they just don't understand that sometimes its the simplicity of a dish that makes it so good. I took one bite and almost hurled. On the service... They seem to be great to their regulars, no doubt there. It's much like going into a corner bar that has only had regulars for the last 10 years, they don't want change, they don't want new people. At least that's the feeling that I got. The following is a more detailed description of my most recent service experience: No one wanted to help me when I walked in the door and stood by the register. I had 3 members of their waiting staff come up to the register to enter their orders, only one of them asked if I had been helped and when I said, "not yet", he just walked away. When I finally got a member of the staff to help me, she happily took my debit card to accept payment for my carry-out order, but when she gave me my receipt, she just walked away and didn't say anything to me about where my food was or when she would be back. She proceeded to chat with a coworker for a couple of minutes, then grabbed my food from the back counter (which I did not have access to). It had been sitting there the whole time. I won't be back, and I hope this review helps someone out there to make a better decision than I did for their next meal.

I'm new to the area and found a gem! Delicious fresh soups & sandwiches... Fun staff... And a huge front patio. What else do you want?

Get the awesome beef

Love love LOVE this place. If You were a fan of Caribou, this place will be like a second home to you. Great prices and great food. It combines the Caribou atmosphere and coffee with deliciously sophisticated sandwiches at great prices! I suggest the veggie wrap and, of course, a pumpkin latte!

I wanted to eat here a few times before I wrote a review. The first time I went my sandwich the Capponi was amazing. I was instantly in love. The second time I went I ordered the same sandwich and asked them to put fresh mozzarella on it. It came with just provolone and no spinach and no tomatoes. Still good but not right. The third time I went they closed early. I went today (Saturday) at 2:00 and they were closed, cold and dark. I checked the hours on my take out menu I got a couple of weeks ago, yup Saturday 7 to 3. I checked their Facebook page yup Saturday 7-3. I will say the food is good, but why would I come down to have some more food when I can't be sure that you will be open.

The food is good but the service is lacking. Not only are the servers not very fast but they're often forgetful. After getting a frappe today that was full of coffee grinds I don't know if I'll be going back except for my refund. A shame, though, because the food really is good...

Really nice place to grab some good coffee and breakfast with friends. Eggs, side of sautéed veggies and fruit... Yum!
(5)Ian V.
No it is not an upscale restaurant and no its not a big restaurant either, It is a wholesome combination of coziness and satisfaction. The cooks here are simply not cooks but artists of food, they are sure to provide you with everything you NEED in a healthy breakfast like fresh vegetables in every dish. Here you will find that almost every delicious plate ordered will contain your basic food groups instead of going from the top on the pyramid down. My plate was well decorated and the food in general was utterly satisfying, I had a wrap with fresh veggies egg and bacon and a side of potatoes (potatoes were the best part). Highly recommended if your bored of the same thing you get from any other restaurant. Also it is very affordable and you have no reason at all not to give it a try!

We have been doing the Dose for breakfast on Friday and Saturdays since it opened. Best breakfasts in town and coffee is always fresh and hot. The wait staff is amazing and Jen is kind and gracious to all of her customers. Well she is open for dinner on Awesome Wednesdays for at least this month....(would be nice if the weather would cooperate.) We had Chicken with Angel Hair pasta in a romesco sauce that was to die for last week. Tonight it was couscous with a phenomenal pan fried salmon...oh my God...thought I had died and gone to heaven!! DO NOT pass up the chance to eat the best food in town.

I was on a business trip to the corporate office and Daily Dose catered a lunch meeting. Fabulous food. The sandwiches were flavorful and hearty. Great salad. Wonderful fruit platter. Divine desserts. LOVE. Thank you, folks at Daily Dose.

A hometown favorite! Great panini sandwiches, wonderful biscuits and gravy every Saturday, fantastic coffee and nice baristas. They have daily specials so be sure to ask the staff about those. What more can I say, I love this place. The staff have nicknamed my hubby and they gave me a free coffee on my birthday! Who does that? The Daily Dose silly, that's who I'm speaking about! I haven't found anything bad here yet, but my most favorite of all is the huge cinnamon roll! Oh my gosh it is so good, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. They icing is a trade secret, so scrumptious! Next time you are hungry -- go straight to the Daily Dose and find out what I'm talkin' about! Yes, the place is small, seating is limited, staff have a hard time sometimes getting around, but it's OK, the food makes up for everything else!
(5)Amanda H.
What a great way to start the day! Personable baristas, delicious food, yummy and strong coffee drinks, nice atmosphere, sunlight, yes please! I could not agree more with the 6 other 5 star reviews. Am I being redundant? Is this review necessary? Maybe I'm just bragging about my unbelievable lunch today, but I feel compelled to praise. I am down right thankful for my panini this afternoon. My mom and I stopped in for lunch, she's been a few times and recommended it. I ordered the Italian Chick - which comes with grilled chicken, marinara, provolone, and spicy hot peppers. Perfectly crisp, yet buttery soft bread hugged the flavor explosion. Sometimes you have that perfect sandwich and you just want to take your time and savor every bite but at the same time you are shoving uncontrollably because it's so good - it was kind of like that. My mocha (with 2 espresso shots) was another huge score - piping hot, but drinkable and not too sweet. Oh, I can not wait to go back.

This is really my go to breakfast and lunch place in Kenosha. It is a rare day that I don't get coffee there on my way to work and a very very rare week that I don't eat at least two meals there. The only downside is that Daily Dose is small. It is small for both the staff and customers, so there are times that they could use more staff but they won't fit and there are definitely times where there is no seating left. Summer eases the second thing a good bit because of the outdoor tables. I did mention that the size is a downside, but it also means that it is cozy, you can watch your food being made, you can chat with the staff, etc. I do wish they would expand their hours a bit (they close in the afternoon and aren't open on Sundays), of course that means I get to patronize the other coffee joints in town so they don't go out of business.
(5)Tom B.
Great place to start off your morning! I particularly like their French toast, and you get a nice sized portion for a very good price. They have a great green tea with turmeric and lemon...tasty and healthy, too! I like to meet my buddies a few times a week, sitting at their patio tables, just enjoying the sun and solving the world's problems. For me, a big part of a cafe's attractiveness is the atmosphere. At Daily Dose, the staff learns your name right away and they remember you and your preferences...they treat you like family.

Why the heck did I pass up this place so many times?!?! Even with its super cute exterior, I was never drawn inside (perhaps because it's a trailerhome???). Well finally one morning I was thinking of all my Kenosha breakfast options when Daily Dose popped in my head. The options aren't huge being gluten and lactose intolerant but thankfully I have now discovered one more option...The Daily Dose. It's few and far between where I can step up to the counter and the workers bend backwards to meet my dietary needs. My boyfriend said the coffee is delicious and its free refills at the door. As more of a tea person, I loved the Ambrossia White Plum Tea Latte. Mmmm mmmm good--and unique! Don't miss out on the ham and chive scramble which has melted cream cheese mixed in. As for their whole oatmeal, you get a choice of toppings like Craisans, butter, cinnamon, bananas and more. For a neighborhood cafe with basic yet delicious breakfast options and friendly staff, don't pass by the Daily Dose cafe on too many occasions.

Love this place. Best food and coffee drinks in all of Kenosha!!!
(5)Maggie W.
AMAZING. I can't think of another place that I would rather eat a breakfast sandwich than the Daily Dose. They put some kind of delicious heavenly garlic aioli on the bread and also dust it with parmesan- I'm serious, if you try it you will start having food fantasies about their menu. All of my friends are hooked. Don't do what I did and pass this place by and wonder- stop. and. eat. Homemade soups too (the cream of mushroom is TO DIE FOR) and a friendly staff. Their Awesome Beef sandwich is, well, pretty awesome too. I will cry if this place ever shuts down- breakfast would never be the same.

Good food, nice waitress!!
(5)Valerie D.
Really great sandwiches & homemade soups, and REALLY good breakfast paninis. I come here like twice a week... can't stay away. I love the food and the staff are really nice people.
(5)Tom H.
I love this coffee shop. Food is top notch! Try the Awesome Roast Beef...there is a reason they call it Awesome in the title. Just hot enough to wake your mouth up. As soon as I was done chewing, I was taking another bite. I didn't want to deprive my mouth of this flavor. The service is quick and the waitresses are so friendly. Obviously the coffee is outstanding too. My wife and I went there 3 times in 2 weeks and never once did they fail to wow us with service. Keep it up. You are truly worth 5 stars!
(5)Shawn B.
This place is a hidden gem. Killer paninis including breakfast sandwiches. Ask for the awesome beef at lunch, it's not on the menu. They serve Alterra coffee and also have massive fresh baked cinnamon rolls. Do your civic duty and skip Starbucks, try the Dose. You'll thank me later.
(5)Riki O.
I absolutely love this place. Great food!!! Try the Awesome Beef. But if Matt is working the grill, be sure to complicate your order with all kinds of substitutions. He loves that. No really, this place is an absolute delight. Great Atmosphere, staff, and ownership.
(5)Michelle T.
I've been going to Daily Dose at least once a week for a few months now. I've never once been disappointed. The coffee is the best in Kenosha, and both the breakfast and lunch menus have great options. My personal fave is their baked potato soup which they seem to have about once a week. I also highly recommend their brownies. The only thing better than the food is the staff.
(5)Lee B.
I go there at least three times a week for breakfast and coffee, If you want to experience something special try this place, it is one of the best, and the people who work there are some of the best.
(5)Amanda S.
I LOVE this place! Like another reviewer said, it's very cozy...it's cute and very yummy too. I grew up in Kenosha and I live here, and this is on my "must eat" place for when my relatives come in town. It's always a stop that I make each time that I get my hair done across the street. My two favorite things to eat are: (1) The Healthy Herby (SOOO good if you like veggies), and (2) The Awesome Beef (SOOOO good if you like meat). I think about both of these sandwiches quite often. I'm a huge foodie if you can't tell. If you like iced coffee drinks, I also highly recommend their ICED white chocolate mocha drink...yum yum.

I live a couple of minutes from Common Grounds but they have crap coffee so I used to drive out of my way to Carolyn's Coffee Connection every day. They shut down (probably due to old squatters playing scrabble all day), but the good people there recommended me to Daily Dose on their last day. Though one of the evil Carolyn's baristas tried to poison me by giving me decaf that one time, all is forgiven for that recommendation. I'm probably known to the people at Daily Dose as "that Asian guy who comes every day with that damn brown mug who sometimes sits down and orders the Awesome beef to find out our secret Awesome Beef spices". I think it's some variation of Sambal Oelek, but not quite sure; yet. I'll find out one day Daily Dose, one day... Muhahahaha! TL/DR: Awesome coffee, awesome food, awesome staff. If you're not there, you know nothing (jon snow).
(5)April P.
Great local find! The staff was super friendly and per other YELP recommendations the mushroom soup was great. I had the turkey panini which was good. My travel buddy had the capponi special which looked great and a frappe which she said was amazing. Would definitely come again.
(4)Rebekah Y.
Went to this place for breakfast one day on vacation. Great food!!! I would definitely be a regular of I lived in the area.
(5)Sarah L.
Mine and my boyfriends all time favorite breakfast place and coffee shop! Best wait staff and food of all times!
(5)Brian V.
The few times I've eaten here the breakfast panini's were great. Some really good flavors. Usually go for breakfast & the Colectivo coffee rivals Starbucks. The frittata is one of my personal favorites. They have different ingredients for the frittata's every week, but i never ask what kind, so it's always a surprise. Haven't been disappointed yet. Biscuits & gravy is a little different than anywhere else, but they're growing on me. I've had them a few times, but sometimes there's too much of a certain flavor. Maybe sage? I'm not 100% sure, but my wife likes it. Smoothies are good & not mostly ice, like some places.
