I have never left hungry or dissatisfied from this family restaurant. The atmosphere is a bit lacking, but they make up for it with their homey service and consistently good food. Their perch dinner is awesome!! They also offer at least 10 or more freshly made pies and cakes and cheesecakes on a daily basis. Yum!

I've stopped by here twice. The first time I had the chef salad and finished it off with their homemade cheesecake. The cheesecake was very good. The second time, 2 other diners and I all had the chili, which was good with the cheese and onion topping. The waitstaff were extremely pleasant with us and I'd stop by any other time I am in the area.

Great all you can eat spaghetti. Staff is courteous and keep the soda and coffee full. We are having the mushroom and swiss burger tonight.

I went here with a friend of mine for a late brunch today and was extremely disappointed. Being from wisconsin, you have certain expectations from certain types of places. My friend ordered a veggie skillet which had a very light, thin, cheese sauce and canned mushrooms. This wouldn't be a big deal if it were a franchise like George Webb's, but with that into consideration, George Webb's even has a better cheese sauce than this, and as far as I know this sauce usually comes out of a can. I wouldn't be surprised to find this in illinois, but for crying out loud, have some state pride!! Additionally, we decided to revive ourselves with root beer floats and were disappointed when they: 1. Were served in the same type of plastic glass our water came in, the same ones you find in cafeterias nationwide 2. Had minimal root beer 3. Were made with a soft serve ice cream that was more flimsy than McDonald's ice cream It may sound as if I'm being over-critical, but I'm not saying that all of my ideals must be met. I just don't understand why if you have enough passion and want to open up a restaurant business why you wouldn't make very much effort to actually make your food resemble something that look like to took a little effort and care to make. If you decide to not take my recommendation and go to this place anyway, i wouldn't order anything more than eggs over easy with buttered white toast and bacon. I will say the buttered toast was exceptional, but I'm a sucker for that.

I stopped at this restaurant after an afternoon at Kaukauna pool. Great family budget restaurant with varied selection of Midwestern cuisine. I had the club sandwich, which was decent. Not your New York deli, but decent food at a low cost. I didn't try the desserts, but this restaurant had a great selection of scrumptious-looking pies and cakes on a rotating display.
