Ruined my Mothers Day. We sat for an hour and left without every getting our food (crepes & eggs -- should have been quick). As we paid for our juice ad coffee, they were like, "ok we have it now", we had been told just a few minutes three times after sitter for over 20 minutes, the last of which was aver 10 minutes before we left. We no longer had time to eat it. There was no management on the floor. We will never come back!!!!

Another excellent visit! My mother, girlfriend and I ate there last night, and came away well-satisfied. I had the chicken enchilada soup (more!), skirt steak sandwich, and fried mushrooms, all very tasty. Noticed they just put up three TV's this week and found out from the owner they are getting DirecTV and free wifi this week! Awesome!

Well crud- I hate to do this, but this the 2nd time I've eaten here with similar service and results. I suppose if this was a small little cafe in a tiny little farm town, it would be different. But There's a lot of eating options in Jefferson, so I'd hate for some Yelper to stumble in here without me sharing my experiences. Let me start by saying the employees are friendly, and for the most part the food is OK. But my review will share a few annoyances from my last visit. I chose to seat at the counter, because normally I get good service. I sat at the counter and was greeted by a server immediately (good sign). I picked out what I wanted and picked up a nearby paper to read. The server was at the other end of the counter (behind the counter) standing over a half eaten plate of tacos. After a hew minutes of her standing and eating tacos, I put the paper down, thinking she may have forgotten me. No such luck, she wasn't doing ANYTHING until those damn tacos were GONE. Eventually, she glanced my direction and I gave her a friendly wave (Hi! Remember me? The paying customer?) She then told another employee, who was NOT behind the counter, and NOT standing behind the counter eating tacos, "He's ready to order." The server came by, and regardless of the disturbing scene, I thought I might have tacos. I asked the server, "I don't see tacos on the menu, are they on a special or something?" She replied, "No, tacos are not available" Even though I clearly saw her co-worker devour an entire plate, AND there was another plate in the warming window. "Hm, OK, I'll have the Gyro plate with french onion soup" So- now we go back to the taco eater. As I'm waiting for my meal to be delivered. A plate with some type of sandwich comes up on the warming window. At this point, the taco eating server, who has been handling cash, eating tacos, and god knows what else, proceeds to STICK HER FINGERNAIL UNDER THE BREAD OF THE SANDWICH" and asks loudly to the kitchen, "What's this??" The sandwich then goes into the dining room to some poor schmuck. Now for my meal, the Gyro came out wrapped in foil (Thank GOD) and the french onion soup was no more than a beef broth salad croutons, with grated Parmesan on top. yippeee. The photo attached is of the taco eater in action- too bad the guy brought the newspaper up at the last minute other wise you would have seen the whole enchilada.....

My father and I ate here and their food was gross. I decided to order some bacon and I pulled a long hair out of my bacon. I also ordered some pancakes and them too had a hair in it. We were the only people in the dining room and it took them 45 minutes to get our food and we ordered small.
