Great place!! Friendly bartender, great food, descent prices! The service was just fine! Our drinks were replenished as needed and our food didn't take too long.

Came in and sat at a table for quite a while. They were not busy, had several open tables. I could not get served. Tried to get the eye of the bartender and the waitress but was ignored by both. I was staying at nearby hotel and wanted a quick bite close by but I guess I'll have to get in my car and drive somewhere to get a bite to eat.

They will not serve you food even when kitchen is open. They also are very rude and disrespectful. I really wish they could get a decent bartender here but it never seems to change.

Well...dang...I've been struggling on how to write my review for this place.... I stopped here for a lunch while shopping in the area, having never been here before. It seems like a fun place, I WANT to like it.... The atmosphere is local, a nice mix of seating, definitely a good place to watch games - lots of good TV's. The menu is fairly typical for a WI saloon...plus, they also sponsor the annual M.D.A. Tub Run fundraiser which raises a pile of money for a great cause. So..well, I had a burger and onion rings. The food was pretty decent. Not great, better than good? Maybe 4 starts, on its own. Tap beers? :'( Come on, you're making me cry here...southern WI and just a weak selection. So, okay, I'll do the bottles. Hey - great, bartender tells me they have a happy hour on all domestic beers. I say, oh great? And she shows me the cooler. So, I order my standard brown bottle Leinenkugels...brewed just a short few hours away in Chippewa Falls. Not any of their fancy brands - Red, HojneyWeiss...no, the standard Leine's. A few beers later, finish my meal, and get the check. I was charged a high bottle price for import beers. Thinking it was a mistake, I ask the bartender, she says in a snarky voice "Oh, we charge import for that. Don't blame me, it's the owner's that make the rules". and literally WALKS away! Really? Just...wow...so...shame on you for doing a sh!tty bait-switch on a cheap brown bottle beer, shame on your for sh!tty customer service, and shame on you for deliberately ripping off customers who order a local domestic beer...that's JUST AS CHEAP in any liquor store.... Well....maybe they're using that huge profit margin to support the MDA? One can only hope... \:|

Great. Super friendly, homey service. Homemade bloodys. Insanely cheap daily specials ($2 fish basket with fries, $6 lasagna, $6 prime rib sandwich, etc).. Clean, great restrooms. 6 flat screen HD TVs (could be a bit bigger/more). Had the 24k Chicken Wrap. Decent. Large side salad. $7.29. Worth the 2 minutes it'll take you from I-90 when you're on your way to/from Chicago.

I think, actually I'm pretty sure this place has the best wings in J'ville. Found this place on Sunday, stopped in and was pleasantly surprised. Lots a space, friendly bartender and the perfect bar food menu. We started off with the wings with the homemade chips. We got the RJ24 something sauce on the wings, fantastic. They should bottle this stuff! I made sure to tell the S.O when we're on our little bike trips, we should come back here if not to eat -- for the wings.

My number one place in Janesville for a burger. Hands down the best in the area. I would recommend any of them, but make sure you get it on the ciabatta bun. It won't be the same without it. The food service is a bit of slow, but it's worth the wait for the burgers. I've had the other food, but it all pales next to their burgers. This is THE place for bar burgers in Janesville, no question.
