Best sandwich place in Jville! Amazing, fresh ingredients, quick service and good prices. It's a little off the main drag but well worth the detour! Try the Mediterranean wrap, it's a game changer.

Quick food with super friendly staff.. pannis wraps, soups, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Best americano s!! We are in the neighborhood so we are here at least 1x a week. Feeling lucky it's in my neighborhood!

Great panini and ice cream. Still has soda out of a can which I am not a fan of but its ok.

Very good sandwiches! I had a chicken artichoke that was delicious. They also have very good coffee. I tried a sample of the ice cream & that was also very good but I was very full from lunch that we didn't end up getting a scoop. The service was friendly and prompt.

Yum! So good! Got a buffalo chicken panini, a turkey pesto panini, and a couple of old fashioned bottles of soda to go. We had a picnic at Palmer Park and were delighted to discover even the chips and pickles were great! Sandwiches were perfection. About to become their best customer!

Can we say hard to find? I don't think that I would have found this place if I had been driving...so I'm glad the husband was! We arrived and were promptly greeted and ordered right away. He got the chicken ceasar salad wrap and I had a BBQ panini of some kind. They also made me an espresso and the waiter customized it just to my taste. The food was delicious, the service was awesome, and I'm coming back again.

Excellent wraps and the homemade soup was great! Get off the chain restaurant path and stop by you will glad you did! Great prices and big sandwiches. Need I say anymore?

We wanted to try something different in the area and found GR's Sandwich Shoppe. It took us a little while to find it. It's in the soundwest corner of the old Fairview Florists mini-mall. Keep driving south in the parking lot and you'll see the entrance - it's worth the effort. We found the atmosphere pleasant and the staff were cheerful and down-to-earth. We asked what GR's is known for and had two different wraps. They were both hot and tasty and different and delicious. We will be back. Often.

Good prices. Good basic sandwich shop. The first time we were there I ordered a club sandwich. It was good, but there is nothing to differentiate GR's from any other sandwich shop. Their wraps however, are a little more creative. On the Mediterranean beef, they add Tahini sauce, which the flavor of the sesame is nice. They also have an Exotic Chicken wrap on pita, and they add nuts, which gives a nice added texture. I have a Panini press at home, but next time I am going to try one of their Panini's, which from the looks of menu, have some nice combination of flavors.

Good sandwiches, good prices! The panini's are great and come with a pickle and chips. They just recently raised the prices from $4.50 or $4.75 to $5.00. Love the Chocolate Shoppe ice cream!! They also have salads, breakfast sandwiches, smoothies, coffee drinks, etc.

This my 2nd time here and once again it did not disappoint!! Had a turkey panini and it was great!! Made with freshly cooked chunks of turkey, no sliced turkey here. Lots of mozzarella and a hearty sandwich with chips. Food is served to your table so quickly. Great for a sit down or a grab and run. Would definitely come again when I'm next in town!

This is one of the nicest places in Janesville for lunch. It's unfailingly friendly and with excellent wraps, panini, salads and soups. Also good coffee drinks. A pretty interior and outdoor seating complete the pleasant experience. They don't list it on the menu, but they have excellent falafel which can be had in a salad, pita or a sandwich. They also have pretty good gluten-free bread. Some of us also noticed the hand-scooped ice cream. We felt that hand-scooped ice cream is a traditional ice cream delivery system that really ought to be supported. So we did.

What a great little hidden jewel. Situated more in a residential area than business, it's easy to drive by... Don't do it. My panini was just right, crispy on the outside with abundant fresh ingredients. The side salad was also nice with Greek olives and fresh greens and fixin's! I had an iced pumpkin latte which would be a perfect break treat.

Always hear good things about this place. I have tried a few times. Very clean, very friendly but the food....meh. ...I have ordered both their veggie wrap and also panini. Not excited about the mayo based spread on panini (too much) and I was asking. "Where's the veggies?" for both versions. Cheese was also not melted, panini party foul. Boring potato chip side. Just doesn't make me go yum.

I had a pesto turkey panini with a lemonade. The panini was roasted turkey that had been pulled apart. The turkey was very juicy and well seasoned. The spinach was crisp and plentiful. The pesto turned out to be just a garlic mayo and was a bit to heavy. This was all served on a buttered roll that was toasted allowing the mozzarella cheese to melt nicely. The lemonade was a perfect match to this excellent sandwich!

Best turkey club in town! Fresh, shredded turkey breast meat and not processed deli slices. Gyro is also good and paninis look delish. Not sure how busy or how much business they get but they could probably do some more advertizing and maybe coupons in circulars. The location isn't that visible. I am pro local business so like it when they offer a good product and do well.

This is such an amazing local place to eat! I think the food is very good, especially being so cheap. My friends and I go here a lot for lunch, I love it how you can call your order ahead. I also love the atmosphere, its so calm and cool. Great place just to grab a sandwich and relax with a friend.

Great homemade sandwiches, panini's and soup. My favorite so far is the Buffalo Chicken panini. They also serve Chocolate Shoppe ice cream and are open for breakfast with a nice coffee bar selection.

We enjoy coming here for the wraps. All are pretty unique and have great flavor. It's hard to find something out of the ordinary in "Chainsville" so we regularly visit here to support a local, non-franchise business and the great food makes it worth the effort to swing off the beaten path of Milton Ave.

Great sandwiches! Totally worth getting off the freeway if you're traveling between Chicago and Madison.
