I have stopped in here a few times already. Every time I stop in here they are already friendly. I have an allergy to onions and I make sure to tell them before they start making my sub and they are always polite about having to grab fresh items to ensure no cross contamination with anything that might have onions on or in it. They definitely care about their customers who come here and they want to make sure their customers return. I most definitely will be returning.

Do not go to this location. The last time I went here was just after a menu overhaul. I wanted to order my favorite sandwich - the Gyro Sub. I didn't see it on the menu anymore, so I asked the cashier if they still had the ingredients to make me one. She turned back to the sub maker and asked him. His response was an extremely rude "nope". So, as I was pretty hungry I decided to still order something else there. I chose the Italian melt. This brings us back the the sub maker. The cubby guy with shaggy hair. He starts to put my sandwich together, which I am watching him make a few feet away at the counter. He gets to the finishing point of putting the maranara sauce on, and procedes to completely saturate the entire sub inside and out in sauce! I couldn't believe it. Anyway, when I get my sub out to my car I open it to inspect it closer. I couldn't even pick it up to eat it. The bread had become so soggy and mushy that it was impossible to eat. Two minutes later I was sending an email to their corporate contact about what I had just witnessed and recieved. The manager's response via email consisted of an explaination that if I had just asked them to make me a Gyro Sub, they should have still been able to (I told him that I did just that! That is what started this whole debacle). He barely acknowledged the sub maker's actions, and never offered me any discounts or freebies. I am definitely not someone who is expecting something for free when something goes wrong with my meal, but in this instance I think something was warranted more than a half-a$$ excuse for an appology/invite to return again. Nope!

They recently remodeled the inside, replacing the red interior with something more black and cream. Overall the atmosphere at this location is decent. I've always enjoyed the food here, and this location has a fryer so you can get fries and cheese curds. I like their ham and cheese, and they've had some good seasonal options with bratwurst that I've loved. The bread variety and quality is always great

Food was still on the floor and tables, the manager was reading the paper and not friendly. But the food was great, I am a huge fan of Cousins Subs, but I do wish this place was cleaner.. They are dead and we are the only people in here. CLEAN YOUR FLOORS AND TABLES!

Cousins Subs is one of the must stop places for me anytime I visit family in Wisconsin. They are all over the city and most of the stores get my order right and produce a consistent result. This store is no different, so I'm not sure why they got a 1 star review from another patron. Their subs are simple and delicious. I think it is the combination of strong, thinly sliced onions and the perfect amount of mayonnaise that makes them so special. The bread is just right, complimenting the sandwich without taking the forefront while being far from sucky. I always get the ham and cheese here, but at any other deli, I usually opt for turkey, cheese and avocado. Not sure why, but this is the right choice at Cousins. I comes with just the basic ingredients in perfect quantity and combination. This Cousins was quite crowded for lunch a few days before Christmas and they were well staffed with polite employees. We had a coupon that was from the back of a local receipt that got us a 3rd sub for free. The subs are $4.29 each, which I think is very reasonable. This restaurant was clean and we only had to wait a few minutes until our 4 subs to go were all set. I'd certainly return to this one, or any other for that matter, next time we're in town.

I DONT recommend this place at all!!!!!!!!! Just went here and man you couldn't sit down because all tables were caked with food as well as the floor. Dirt everywhere just could image what health codes they are breaking. I live close by but just one problem like this with my food, i will never go back. If you read this, hed my warning. This hasn't been first time this has happened here. They didnt care after i said something.
