I ordered bone in 23 oz rib-eye with sides of sweet potatoe and mixed veggies which include broccoli and carrots. DELICIOUS !!!!

HOLY UP-SELL, BATMAN!! Let me preface this by saying that my husband and I are frequent diners at Texas Roadhouse restaurants throughout the state. They are always reliable for a good steak at a reasonable price. I am not a fan of the sweet butter that accompanies the buns, and always ask for regular butter. The peanuts are sometimes stale. But otherwise, TR is solid. On this particular instance, I wondered if there was an up-selling contest going on. Our waitress tried to up-sell EVERYTHING. When we ordered the grilled shrimp appetizer (they come with a lovely garlicky-lemony butter sauce), she actually asked if we would like to add mushrooms and onions. REALLY?! I wanted to say, "no, but I'd love to put some in my Coke." She was friendly, but I mean, OMG--it was obnoxious!! But we really enjoyed our steaks. So if you can get past the obnoxious, obligatory verbiage like, "so you know about our hand-cut steaks and homemade bread," and mercifully arrive on a no-contest night, you're good to go.

Atmosphere is way over-the-top and loud. The wait staff spends more time line-dancing like idiots than waiting on tables. Part of this was due to the unbelievable number of employees that were in the restaurant. If they weren't dancing around they were all piled up standing in a line near the kitchen or reception desk. There's an up-sell on every single item, cheese on this bacon on that. Wasn't even tasty, my "steak-fries" tasted terrible to begin with but the cheese was low-quality shredded garbage melted on top rather than a sauce so it congealed and hardened before I even got to trying them. Ordered a ribeye steak medium-rare, was closer to medium-well. Not trimmed well at all, atleast 1/4 of my steak was pure fat I cut off and dumped in the bread basket. The grill marks were barely due to the grilling process as I could taste the soot and gas. The grill was clearly filthy. Speaking of filth, the whole peanuts served at your table is a decent touch but it seems like people just dump the empty shells all over the floor. It was unbelievable the size of the piles all over the place. Clearly from open (11am) until we arrived (6pm) they did not sweep once. Traditions like this can work for a restaurant but they've taken it to the point of just being disgusting. I was not pleased. The bread they serve you is extremely low-quality, doughy and not fresh. Onion blossoms are way too salty, would have been inedible had we not ordered ranch sauce which tamed it down a bit. On a different visit I had ordered fish. The batter was gross and it was greasy to the point of inedible. While I understand drinks are one of a restaurants biggest money makers, the price for as basic a drink as soda with non-premium liquor is absurd. Even those get an up-sell to a "double for $2 more". Two swings, two misses. I will not be going for a third.

Pretty good experience considering how busy they were. Food was cooked how i requested. It was really nice that the manager stopped to thank us for coming in. Waitress coulda been a little more attentive she apologized for us being patient at least 3x.

Great food, great drinks. I always purchase a Margarita when I come here because they're delicious! If you like Margaritas try their new Hurricane Rita, it's the best one there. My favorite dish to order here is a steak with chili and mashed potatoes over brown gravy. Careful when ordering how you want your steak cook, they're accurate to description. I ordered Medium Rare (because at Denny's they always overcook), and it was Medium Rare. However, I like mine more medium, so I'll know in the future now. Girlfriend tried the BBQ pulled pork -- it was alright. Steaks taste better than the pork. Did I forget the buns? Best in town, hands down. Try it with sweet butter!

Not a good experience at all. The Onion Blossom was over cooked and not properly drained. There was a lot of fryer grease in the bottom of the bowl. Cheryll had a Grilled Chicken Salad. I had a Chicken Caesar Salad. Neither salad was very good the salad greens were wet and very limp. The restaurant was not very busy, but it took at least 25 minutes after we ordered to receive our food. 25 minutes for salad? As always Texas Roadhouse is very loud. Between the slow service, the sub standard food and the loud atmosphere, tonight was a reminder why we don't dine at the Roadhouse very often.

I've been here two or three times before today, but today made me not eager to return any time soon. We were seated, and it took nearly 10 minutes to be helped, and that was after we flagged down one of the many servers who seemed to just be walking around aimlessly. It took longer than usual to receive the meal, which seemed odd since it was 4pm in the afternoon, and the amount of people in the restaurant was small. The people seated behind us even received their food before us, even though they arrived 15 minutes after we did. The food seemed fine. Most of my party's steaks were cooked correctly, but mine was extremely over-cooked and dry. Thankfully, our waitress offered to bring another. The second was perfect, and was delivered by the manager. Very satisfied with that service. However, there seemed to be a small area behind our booth that the employees would gather at. Three of them in particular stood there the entirety of our visit and repeatedly kicked the back of the booth so that it was felt on the seated side. We had to ask them to stop. After my mother got up to leave, they immediately started up again like it was funny that they could get away with being annoying. All in all, it was the worst visit I've had to the Texas Roadhouse. If it weren't for the waitress and manager saving the day, I fear this review might have warranted 1-star.

Fun atmosphere and great food! I always bring an entire meal home with me (leftovers) because the portions are always big and delicious. I love their Onion Blossom appetizer, but for 2 people... I would recommend the Baby Blossom. It's the perfect amount so that you still have room for dinner. Side salads are terrific and packed with eggs, tomatoes, and really good croutons. I always get the salad and sweet potato as my 2 sides. The sweet potatoes are mammoth! On our last trip, I ordered the ribs & sirloin combo with salad & sweet potato and my friend ordered the 11oz. sirloin with mashed potatoes & rice. Both were yummy and prepared just as we ordered. Great food and great prices. Soft, warm rolls and sweet butter is always brought to the table immediately (and sooooo good!) And there is an endless bucket of peanuts at every table. Love it!

Well considering we eat here often tonight wasn't their best show. We eat here at least two times a month and the night that I slot them to review they just mess up everything. First I was told that I could only get my prime rib in medium rare instead of medium well ( this involves cooking it a little longer not sure if they just didn't understand this or what) we had to remind them that we ordered fries with our dinners and we had to tell them that they needed to change their syrup in their soda, now when we told her that it tasted funny she told us she changed the syrup the other day. Why would you first off question us and say something like that and secondly it just requires them to go and get us new drinks. Usually when we are there we are able to get the dance show. This time we didn't even get the show. We will still eat here they were just having a very rough night I guess.

When it comes to steak they know what they are doing. Are there better places in Green Bay? Sure, however, when it comes to price of the food and the atmosphere, it's pretty hard to beat! I mean, where can you get a tenderloin for under 20 bucks? I prefer sirloin and other steaks as they are more flavorful, but for the wife and I, we love coming here and will keep doing so. They also offer a military discount which is an added plus! I get it that it's a chain, however, they do a darn good job here in Green Bay. No complaints!

I love this low-key steak joint. I like to come to this particular location, because one of my FAVORITE waitresses with the most adorable personality works here. Do yourself a favor and ask for server Brianna Skupas's section, (make sure to tip her well, she is a hard worker!) If she can handle a dispicable customer (high maintenence salad freak) like me--anybody else is a walk in the park. Bonus--Brianna is also quite pretty, too! That is not PC, but hey, I'm a chick. I can get away 'wit it.

We like coming here for a relaxed atmosphere and for the rolls. Unfortunately when the steaks are bad, they are bad. And you barely get an acknowledgement for your bad experience. If you do, you get a "oh sorry. Here's a free appetizer, but only onion blossoms". Since we don't like onion blossoms, it's a pointless attempt. But when the steak is good, it's good. And the rolls are always good.

Ok so this is a normal Texas Roadhouse and that is what I was wanting in my business trip. Just some nice people behind the bar and a place that I can count on a good steak (nothing amazing but good) and a beer or two. This place delivered for a business traveler that sits at the bar across the US. Again service was nice, food was good and is decently priced.

Here's the deal if your craving steak in green bay, you either have to go high end or low end (not so low). Best steak is hinterland, but at $40:00 for a steak you won't be eating there every day. On the lower end is texas roadhouse....$15.95 top sirloin, half a rack of delicious ribs, a salad and a side... Plus great yeast rolls. The food has never been a miss but the establishments are very different. My meal tonight, the steak was cooked perfectly, ribs fall off the bone, great baked potato and fresh, hot yeast rolls. Don't wast your time with longhorn or apple bees you'll be disappointed. Also forgot to mention service was prompt and friendly. Thanks!

If you like salt, and allot of it, then this is the place for you. And I'm with Jon H. I ordered a med rib-eye and got a rare one, WOW Ramsey Would flip! And what's with the salt a little goes a long way, maybe someone should tell the little want-a-be cook in the kitchen there. I like salt, but my rice was close to inedible. I been there twice, and tried a number of things (ribs, steak, potatoes, rice, etc.) EVERYTHING is slated to the extreme. One other bad experience was when the busboy came to clean off the empty plates while we were still eating. He actually took my plate with food still on it that I was eating. He didn't ask if I was done, but just tossed it into a tub. For the bright spot, the salted peanuts in the shell are a nice alternative to start a meal... At least the salted peanuts get you prepared for what's to come. Patrons crammed at the entrance, employee dancing every hour on the hour, and decor that would smile back at you if it hadn't been shot, decapitated, stuffed, and nailed to the wall. You'll also need to raise your voice to be heard by those at your table. It's so loud in there that when you leave, you really appreciate how quiet the nearby highway is in comparison Another Texas Roadhouse location, but I think it's time give up on these for me. The service was rude here! They had this fat dark haired guy as the host at night. He was nice when you walked in but an a$$hole when you left, making derogatory quips when you left. Just a punk! The waiters/waitresses all wear these black t-shirts which says "I love my job" on the back, but looking at all these idiots' walking around, I would say give me your shirt and let me wipe my but with it. It's about the same. Terrible service. It was awful and I haven't been back since. I remember the experience vividly and that was 2005. Unfortunately, I have been back to other locations, against my will but by the wise decision maker's insisting. Each and every time, we have gotten bad service, and each time with the decision maker seeming to defend the place, as if this service was an isolated incident. I beg to differ... Normally I would not endorse an anonymous review with a one star rating, but Foodie B.'s review does not surprise me about that place. In fact, if Yelp sees fit to remove it (which they probably should), I just want to say that you should think twice about this chain. It was my first night in Green Bay and I am from Dallas so it seemed like the best place to go. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very nice. She was very good about talking to her regular customers. The thing that puts the Roadhouse at 4 stars is the warm bread rolls! I had a Dallas filet steak and sweet potato. The flavor was good but not the best quality cut of meat. I would definitely say it is good food and a great value for the money.

During a 7 day visit to Green Bay my family and I went to Texas Roadhouse not once, but twice, because it was so good. We had steak [done to perfectly rare] the single cut pork chop [ordered medium not well done, it was brilliant] the chicken with gravy [sauces lovely]. The house salad is abundant, the chili not to my liking but my father thinks its great, the mash, etc., all of nice quality and size. I highly recommend the food although the dining room can get a bit loud if there are parties. Freebie peanuts in the shell and particularly the hot rolls were appreciated by all.
