I was on a business road trip and one of my co-workers in the Green Bay office recommended. The service was excellent. The bartender was friendly and very attentive. The owner must have asked me 5 or 6 times if I needed anything. He's a friendly gentleman and was having a good time with several of the patrons. The atmosphere is friendly and tavern-ish. Classic tavern. Very clean and not too dark. I got my food to go and was extremely please. My prime rib sandwich was world-class! I plan to revisit Highland Howies the next time I have to go to our GB office, and next time I plan to stay a lot longer and eat there. Bravo!

Now this is a great little bar and grill. Every food item I have had, especially their perch dinner and the chili, has been great. Their bartenders (especially Pam) are friendly and will always keep your glass full. Keep up the great work guys!!

Gotta be the best fish fry in GB. Amazing people, good service, always packed, but they move you thru quick. Great atmosphere!

A really nice 'home bar' sort of place off the beaten path on the East side of the city. The food is your standard bar fare, but they also offer special broasted chicken dinners and a variety of fish frys. The bar and restaurant is welcoming, as are the bartenders and wait staff. I was surprised to find a really respectable bottled beer list here, and loved that their food and drink prices were sensible. I think Highland Howie's is doing it right, and I'll continue to embrace them as long as they continue to do so.

Cool little place. I LOVE the taco salad from this place. Would live to write about others but I keep ordering the taco salad. HA!

You would never guess that this place has great food by the overall appearance. It looks like a country bar outside and in. But it is not a 'drive by'. I've had the ribs several times and have been delighted every time. Friday fish fry is so popular you can hardly get in the place. No trendy entrée names just darn good food.

FUN place! OK liquor selection, good beer. Darts and a jukebox. The bartender finally kicked us out at 2:30 - what a good sport!

Great Place!...not sure why no reviews but being from Green Bay I can tell you it is one of the best places to order a steak and have a great dinner. Can get a little crowded on Fri and Sat nights but they have a great system for fighting the crowds and a large bar to sit at till your table is ready. The staff is friendly, food is great and not overpriced.
