Love the food here and the couple who run it are sweet as pie. Breakfast or lunch. You can't go wrong. Love the food here and the couple who run it are sweet as pie. Breakfast or lunch. You can't go wrong.

Visiting my in-laws in Grantsburg we were treated to breakfast at the Country Cafe. All around you is a feast for the eyes. All kinds of little knick knacks and memorabilia are on the walls to entertain you while you wait for your food. The service is friendly and the food is delicious. Especially the bacon! The portions are generous, you will not leave hungry. I definitely recommend.

As if the food wasn't good enough to come in for, you'll be fully entertained all during your meal looking at the walls. I've never seen such talent for collections. Everyone--customers and staff--were friendly and chatty. Even the restrooms were entertaining. But back to the food: the Rachel on cranberry bread!

Great food. The service is excellent because the owners usually wait on you (talk about taking pride in your business!) Would go back in a heartbeat, the atmosphere is exactly what you would expect in a small town diner.

Cute, small-town cafe, run by a very sweet lady. Lazy susan on the round table held everything one needs for a perfect breakfast (including deliciously homemade butter pecan syrup and maple syrup in old school glass Mrs. Buttersworth bottles). HUGE portions of hash-browns, expertly cooked basted eggs, and amazing freedom (french) toast. The food came quickly, but we were entertained by the walls, which were covered with vintage cooking implements and kitchy signs. I'd definately eat there again if I were in the area. (cash only)

I heard really good things about this place but we weren't all that impressed. Too be fair, it was a holiday weekend and they were really busy. Food was just okay and doesn't compare to the Cozy Kitchen up the road.

OH MY GOSH...so good! Best breakfast ever. We found it while on a hockey tournament weekend and seriously considering driving 2 hours from home for that great of a breakfast. The couple that own it are super sweet and friendly. The food is fabulous! We ate there two days in a row and both days tried different things that were all good!
