Ivee's, I really want to love you, but I cannot. I should probably drop this to 2 stars, but in general you just want to like this place. It feels like the center of town, they typically have sports on the TV, not NASCAR, like sports... baseball, football, basketball. The beer selection will usually include two decent local choices from New Glarus or Sprecher or Lakefront... ...then the food. Never really good. Always acceptable, but never really good. Pizza sauce is overly sweet and the dough just OK. The burgers and chicken tend to be dry. Fish fry, No. The specials are never that special. I have not seen the poor service others speak of. In fact, I think the service is typically pretty good. We keep going back because the vibe is nice and the prices reasonable, but man if they could take the food up a notch or two this place would be a real gem.

This visit was a lot better than on Mother's Day, but there's still room for improvement. As usual, the food was very good. The ticket time wasn't as bad, but it was still a bit long. Especially when the dining area wasn't overly full. Our waitress was once again not very attentive. She apologized for the wait once the food arrived, but she didn't check in on us while we were waiting. Keep up the good work with the food, but please improve the ticket time and wait staff attentiveness. Also, I noticed that the staff behind the bar were scooping ice with glasses for cocktails. That's a dangerous habit and you risk chipping the glasses and mixing glass into the ice.

Horrible fish fry. Stay away from here if you want anything besides a good drink. I had the beer battered cod. There was no crunch, it was soggy on the outside. The inside was flaky but the taste was way off. I eat a lot of fish fries and I have never tasted something quite that strange. My wife had the breaded perch. We found many bones in it. That aside. It just lacked flavor... Any flavor except the hint of fish at the end. I have fish sticks at home that tastes better. Other places with better fish AJ obrady's Culvers McDonald's Any place else

Awesome breaded cod fish fry with parsley buttered potatoes! I have had this as a take out order for a very long time now and it never disappoints! Their eye opener burger is also really good and has an egg on top. I would recommend take out on Wednesday and Friday nights because it is a small place and can get super busy/packed really fast!

Food good.The waitress needs to learn how to deal with customers.Younger waitress, if U don't like something or need something cooked more she needs to not throw the plate down when returning it to you.Twice we had her twice we thought she isn't a good waitress.Won't go back, use to go there all the time to.

My wife and I were very impressed when we walked into Ivee's At Main. Expecting a bar and grill, we were pleasantly surprised with the comfortable feel of the dining area. The bar is center stage, but does not detract from the cleanliness of the eating area. We were greeted by Kayla who was very friendly and told us about the Fish Fry Special including Blue Gill only on Wednesdays. I decided on the Blue Gill, which came with 6 nice size filets, lightly breaded with a light crispy crunch. The fries were piled high, perfectly golden. My wife ordered the BBQ ribs and was happy with the delicious, tangy sauce. The portions were sufficient for us to have leftovers for lunch the next day. This can become a frequent stop for us. You will not be disappointed, stop at Ivee's At Main.

Went here twice. Waited OVER an hour BOTH times, and the second time, we were the ONLY people in the place. Very nice bartenders and wait staff, but mediocre food and way too long of a wait for it.

There is a huge bar in this place with additional booth and table seating surrounding it. Food was OK. Not a large beer selection. Staff was not that friendly.
