I love Cabbage Heads. I've had their burgers, chicken sandwich, fish fry, and yummy fried appetizers. I particularly love the sour cream chive fries. Everything is always cooked perfect and tastes delicious. The service is friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Cabbage Heads!

Great little place when you are in the neighborhood and in need of a cold one and an order of fries. Total Wisconsin bar.

We just moved to the area and this is our favorite bar! Reminds us of being "Up North" with the festive, cozy atmosphere. Great specials, free wifi, flat screens, pool table, dart board, internet juke box, and awesome menu. Sour cream and chive fries!! We loved finding this place. And update: they take credit cards. Cheers!! ;)

Interesting tavern. Rustic and friendly. But- NO CREDIT Cards. 8 taps. Fairly small bar. Check it out. Bring cash.

I've been there 3 times and have never had any bad food. The staff is also very nice and friendly!! Would be nice to have the option for baked fish on friday nights though.

I love the monday special and the chicken sandwich . more like your local pub, friendly.

Absolutely the best burgers in the area. Completely surprised since it is a tavern but the owner must be very picky about what and how its served. Because of that I have gone here multiple times and will continue to return. I have had the burgers, rib sandwich, homemade chips and the fish fry and everything has been phenomenal. Additionally all employees are exceptional!

The duck dinner here is outstanding, and the soups are to die for. Yum.

Lin and I were trying to think of a place we had never been to try something different. She said "how about Cabbage Heads". I'd seen it driving by but never even new they served food. Cabbage Heads is a nondescript building on a nondescript corner in Franksville right across from the local feed store. You can't get much different than that. What a surprise we had. The menu is various bar food entrees but done with attention to detail and fresh ingredients. Karen told us she hand debones the short ribs for the rib sandwich special. Delicious. The hamburger is fresh and, according to Karen, ordered specially seasoned just for Cabbage Heads. I had one and was not disappointed. The home made chips are superb. Our first trip a week ago tuned into our second trip this week. We had the ruben and soup with the homemade chips and......we'll be back. Don't go thinking getting fine dining. This is simply a clean unpretentious local corner tavern with good food, good drinks and good folks.

Amazing Homemade soups that come with buttered grilled ciabatta bread from the local bakery.... The rib sandwich is to die for!!! Fish Fry Fridays is always hot and Delish!!!! And then the burgers..... My hubby always gets the bacon cheeseburger but my faves are the blue burger or the rueben burger.. Yum!!! Last night i ordered a grilled ham & swiss on ciabatta.... Then i slather it with their horseradish piquant sauce.... Perfect!! Late night we order a emil's pizza.... Usually the porker if they have any left... Goes great with their nice drinks you gotta try this franksville gem!!!

Traveling across the country and we were looking for a local pub with good food, beer and local atmosphere. We found it! We ordered the rib dinner special and it was excellent. Service was good and very friendly. Atmosphere was spot on and enjoyed watching part of a Packers game with local fans. If in the area worth stopping in!

Great food, great service. Our group ordered burgers, pizza, the fish fry, and kids food (chicken tenders & a HUGE hot dog). All were great. Cabbage Heads has a welcoming Northwoods feel, and an equally welcoming staff, despite having to deal with a group of 4 unruly customers wanting to occupy two tables and order no food during prime (and packed) dining hours. They were more than willing to accommodate our group of 6, and even convinced a group of 4 to switch tables so we could all be seated. We'll definitely be back. 5 stars = mind blowing (Lake Park Bistro, La Marenda, Zaffiro's, Wells Brothers Pizza) 4 stars = great and I'll keep coming back

I love Cabbage Heads! This is a good local tavern. I usually come here with my mom after work for some lunch and a drink. The bartenders and customers are always welcoming and nice. The food has been great. I usually get the chicken sandwich with mushrooms, cheese, and bacon. I also really like the ham, cheese and asparagus sandwich, I know, it sounds weird, but it's amazing! They also have the best mozzarella sticks ever. Oh, I almost forgot to mention their homemade chips that come with sandwiches. They are so delicious and they have all types of seasonings you can put on them. (My favorite is ranch) The drinks are pretty cheap and I know they have a good happy hour too. I'm sure you will love this local bar. The menu has something for everyone.

Best burgers in the county. All the food I have ordered here has been great. The patty melt is great. BBQ ribs! All good!

Cabbage Heads is pretty much everything you'd want in a townie bar/grill: *Unpretentious interior with décor consisting of mostly Packers stuff with some random taxidermy. Everything is clean and well maintained. *Menu of deep fried stuff, a few chicken sandwiches and a lot of burgers - all reasonably priced. My burger was great - well seasoned, served on a toasted bun and not too greasy. As a bonus they have chive fries for a reasonable upcharge - otherwise you get homemade chips. *Mostly macro draft beers (Miller, Bud, etc) with a few imports and micros thrown into the mix. Again, reasonable prices. *Friendly staff and patrons. As with any good townie bar, lots of regulars/locals. *Sports played nonstop on large TV's, so it's probably a really good place to catch the Packer game and grab a burger This is one of those places we never would have found/known about without Yelp so if you're in the area, it's worth checking them out.

On our way from Chicago to Milwalkee we found this pub. Very basic pub/bar, but great food and drink! We happened to be there for their Saturday morning $2 bloody Marys. Handmade hamburger patties with homemade potato chips were well worth the extra mile drive off the interstate! Nice little town, Friendly waitress.
