My wife and I have eaten here many times since they reopened about a little over a year ago. I have to give the owners and staff credit. They did an amazing job renovating it since the days it was the old Canton restaurant. Food is great...sushi is done well, and not "fishy" tasting. They have plenty of great Chinese and Thai dishes, too. My only small criticism is that they should get rid of the hand written signs in their front windows...this is just a personal pet peeve of mine. Staff is friendly and food service is usually very quick. If you're looking for something different, Kit Cho is a great choice.

Excellent sushi and Asian food. Service a little slow, but we were in no hurry. Good Thai choices. Reasonable prices and enough to eat.

We came here for sushi but decided on Thai instead. Excellent choice. The pad Thai was some of the best I've had. The shrimp in the dish and the Thai spring rolls were perfectly prepared. They were succulent and had a nice crisp bite to them. The service was exceedingly slow. I would definitely eat here again.

I've been going to kit cho since they opened. It's a 3 star place in Madison but in fort it's an easy 4. If they cleaned up the dining area and the bathrooms it'd be a five. The sushi is never fishy and they present a good finished product. Their Cantonese style food is not bad either. I hope they stick around.

Had a great time here last night with my friends, enjoyed the fresh sushi, chicken teryaki and good service. Will definitely be back .

I can't stop going to this place. Amazing sushi! I love the spicy rolls. Prices are also very reasonable. The building isn't much, especially from the outside, but it has a nice ambiance inside. The staff is also very friendly.

I've mainly just had the sushi, so I can't comment on the various "hot" menu items, but the sushi is very good (although probably not too "authentic" if your a sushi devotee). Been multiple times (although not recently) and never disappointed. Try the spicy tuna roll and the sweet potato roll.

Took some customers here and we all loved the sushi. The atmosphere was great along with the service. Will for sure be back!

This food is fantastic. Even compared to restaurants in Milwaukee, Chicago and Madison, it is outstanding. Everything is fresh, too. Highly recommend a visit. (The service is also good.)

I really like this place the sushi is very good. But I am very disappointed to find out that they use imitation crab??????? So what can make me believe that any of their fish is not imitation? This place has had issues due to the fact that they will not comet to a real plan that is honest. they are making huge profit on fake seafood.

The sushi rolls here are great. They have the best hot and sour soup I have ever tasted! They recently re did their sushi bar and they are always nice here. I would recommend not the best sushi I've ever had but still very good!

The sushi seems of the same quality of what you would get in the city but, at small town prices. The staff is friendly and eager to please- they even made me my tuna avocado roll which did not seem to be on the menu. This place does need a little cleaning up but, otherwise is not bad at all.

My boyfriend and I come to Kit Cho at least once a month. The special rolls are amazing!! You can't beat them, but their customer service is wonderful. We love the server Cindy and the sushi chef, Kenny, they are very personable and always impress us. If you want to be daring and try something more than the California roll (boring!!), ask Cindy for something fun!

Pretty much one of the few places worth eating at in Fort! Delicious food and kind servers.

I've been to Japan many times for work. I've had high end 'executive' sushi, and low brow 'salaryman' sushi, as well as everything in between. I can honestly say that for the money, Kitcho definitely provides a quality bit of sushi. Is there better? Yes. Will you pay an arm and a leg at those 'fancy' places? You bet. Kitcho is a great place to get good sushi without taking out a loan. Granted, the décor is a bit odd as one reviewer pointed out, but I go there for the food, not to stare at the walls. This past summer they had an issue with those tiny sugar ants (who hasn't had an ant problem before?). They apparently shut down the place right away and dealt with the ants. We went back a week or so later and there wasn't an ant to be found. The waitresses are very friendly, and the cooks are talented. Not what else I can say other than go try it yourself and form your own opinion. You'll be glad you did!

Excellent sushi, and phenomenal food in general. Very pleasant staff, eager to please. $16.95 all you can eat sushi lunch special! Can't beat it!

Well hell, I'm super impressed. I was feeling hopeful, but realistic about enjoying a sushi date with my husband in Fort Atkinson. I gotta say, I'm shocked. The nigiri is as good as any good sushi restaurant I've been to and I spent over a dozen years living in downtown Chicago enjoying some really great sushi spots. Their maki is fun and inventive. We stuck to their standard rolls and were incredibly pleased. Not only am I shocked by the freshness and tastiness - holy flippin' affordable! We had six pieces of nigiri, four rolls and two appetizers for under $55, including tip. That's ridiculously amazing. We'll be back.

I felt cheated by the all-you-can-eat sushi lunch. The value for the price - at first - seems pretty good. However, before ordering, I asked the server what happens if I order too much and can't eat it all. She kind of laughed and said "OK", as though she did not understand. So I ordered five rolls, thinking that was enough to try several selections, without being excessive or greedy. I did not finish them, and that's when she pointed out on the bottom of the sushi menu the answer to my question, that the *PIECES* you don't eat - will cost you an additional $1... *each*! None of the reviews mentioned this, which really surprised me. I only read high praise, here. That would have really helped, had I known this "racket" ahead of time. She asked whether I wanted to take the remaining pieces home, which I thought meant "so you would pay the $1 charge" that was at least hidden to me. I said "no, that's OK", for which I meant "no, I don't accept the hidden fee; I'll leave these here". And I ate two more of the pieces. She went ahead and added $8 to the bill, so my lunch was almost 50% more expensive than advertised. You could say it "soured" my experience, which was otherwise pretty tasty - in fact, as I was eating it, I had thought I had found my new favorite restaurant in the area. Now, however, I left feeling... if you'll excuse the pun... "bamboozled", and have no plans of returning. Now don't get me wrong. I understand the reason for this $1-per-uneated piece rule, for the establishment to protect its interests. Just make it clear up front. It's unfair to throw such an important rule at me - after I've already eaten. They needed to answer my question, when I asked "what are the rules", before ordering. They obviously knew the rules, because they were quick to point them out after-the-fact. That to me is low integrity. It felt like an organized crime, and made me unimpressed with the ethics of this establishment. That disappoints me. I had otherwise looked forward to eating there often.
