This review is simple. The . Very. Best. Pizza. Ever. We get extras to eat it cold for leftovers. We come through town several times a year and never miss it!

The pizza was pretty descent, would maybe try it again but the service wasn't so good! She made it over to take our order, drop the food off, and bring us our bill. Didn't even ask once how our food was or if we needed anything else.

This iS simply the best pizza you can find. I've been eating this since I was a kid. This thin crust masterpiece will blow you away. It's good hot and fresh or as a cold leftover. The pizza is served in tiny squares that pack in the flavor,

Best cracker crust Pizza in the area. I love the way they cut the pizza in 3x3 inch squares which makes it easy to eat when there are 14 people fighting over it. We had the cheese, pepperoni, meat lovers, and the Sammy's house special. All are good but the special is just that, great. Their cheese bread is also quite good and a good way to knock the edge off your hunger while waiting for the pizzas to arrive. Oh, Sammys' fresh grinds its Parmesan each day so it is not frozen.

I was hanging out in Eau Claire and ordering a pizza became the thing we were going to do. Papa John's and Pizza Hut were suggested. Having had both unfortunate examples of pizza my wife and I were on the edge of desperation. We called a local friend and asked for a recommendation. She told us to go for the Sammy's Special, which was onion, green pepper and sausage. What arrived clearly blew the doors off of what either aforementioned chain had to offer. Sammy's delivery arrived quicker than they said it would. The crust was thin. It was tasty. Great pizza? No. Delicious? Yes. More power to them!

In my family all pizza is compared to Sammy's. My parents grew up here and then moved away, so we all get back to visit relatives about once a year. When we are in town, we hit up Sammy's 3-4 times. It is that good! The pizza is super-thin crust cut into squares instead of slices. The Sammy's Special with sausage (in cute little balls), onion, and green pepper is my absolute favorite. When it's just come out of the oven, the cheese goos off the slice. Good sauce, good toppings, good pitchers of beer.

Every ingredient is either canned or frozen including the cheese (frozen) mushrooms (canned) and sauce (canned). A completely canned and tasteless atmosphere follows this truly inedible food, watered down sauces and no true sense of Italian food, even in American sense. (Antipasto literally means "no pasta", their antipasto is a pasta dish with chopped up crap) A family favorite, none of the less, of many Eau Claire locals whom will never know a a truly great pizza thanks to places like Sammy's Pizza and Sammy's Pizza and Pub. I think you are better off enjoying the fare from New York Pizza and Deli on Water in pure take out form or even Pizza Hut.

Sammy's has been a family tradition for 50 years! I've been coming for 25 years and now have to visit every time I am in town. My family always orders the Sammy's special. The thin crust, cheese, and sauce are amazing. No pizza compares to Sammy's!

Thank you for bringing the Italian Gondola back. My alternate favorite is the Crew Special (pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, extra cheese). Good!

Every summer when I return to Eau Claire I make a point enjoying Sammy's pizza. Their square cut thin crust never disappoints. Service can be a bit slow sometimes but the food is definitely worth it.

I have a love-hate relationship with Sammy's. Their pizza is decent. Get sausage if you can't decide. The fried chicken is good, although they need to turn up the fryer so it doesn't absorb so much grease. The spaghetti is like a high school cafeteria. Does that mean it is bad, or brings back memories of the good ol' days? They have been raising their prices in recent years, with no improvements in quality of food or decor. We eat there less often than we used to.
