We were in the area and the mood for Chinese. Our first and only time here was about a month ago. We were greeted at the register by a young boy that couldn't have been much older than nine. The wait time was just fine, and the food was about average for fast Chinese. We noticed the lack of cleanliness. They would let dirty tables sit uncleaned so when new guests would arrive, there was a lack of places to sit. I also noticed the bathrooms were below my expectations. Made me wonder how clean the place actually was.

Good food, good sized portions, open late, open on every holiday, and I love the lunch specials! It gets busy so order ahead for take out.

Best Fast Chinese in the area! Sometimes they are a little busy and get behind but I think it's a testament to the quality of their food. It's why everyone comes back! The crab Rangoon is the best I've ever had.

Ordered take out from this place a few times. Food tasted very good, but in our opinion, the quantity provided is very less for the prices charged. Food ordered was ready at the time promised on most occassions, but there were a couple of occassions when the order was delayed. We once asked for a substitution when we have them a large order and the cost of the substitution was far less than the Dollar value of the order, but we were surprised at their business sense (or the lack of it) when they said they would rather turn down the order than make the substitution. Based on the above experiences, we would rate their service as just average. Overall summary- good food, less quantity for the price charged, average service. Would we order from here again?- maybe.

NEVER going back. There was a piece of GUM in my crab rangoon last night. Chewed. Worst restaurant experience ever, I am traumatized!!!!

Never a bad experience, if i had to guess i've been here 50+ times since they have opened one of my go to Chinese restaurants. I find myself in and around the Milwaukee Metro area for the better part of the week and i still find myself craving China 1 or comparing other Chinese places to this place. It's your typical Chinese food but something about it is good. I highly recommend the crab rangoons they are sweeter than any other crab Rangoon I've ever had and it is easily one of the best I've ever had. Other than that be sure to get the "all day combinations" Which include chicken fried rice, 2 crab rangoons, 1 egg roll and your entree It is a pretty good bang for the buck.

Is there anything else open this late every day of the year in Delevan? No. Dependable China 1 will be there for you when the city has shut down and you're still hungry. I like their sweet and sour chicken with noodles--you'll get enough to feed yourself for a few days. They also have great customer service.

Good prices for the amount of food you get but their sauce was way too sweet for my liking.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
