Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

If you like VERY loud Christian music and creepy service check out this place!

I have been going to Marty's for at least 10 years and I have to say, you don't go to Marty's for the atmosphere. It is all about the pizza baby. One of my favorite pizza places on the planet (so far) and I have had my fair share of pizza from around the country. If you like sausage on your pizza, I don't know what it is, but this is one of my favorite toppings on any pizza ever. Theirs is so good in comparison with other places. Just thinking about it is making me hungry. I have never had a sub, spaghetti or anything else here because the pizza is where it is at. I guess I have had the garlic bread too. Also good. It sounds like some of the negative reviews are due to atmosphere or food other than pizza. Trust me, their pizza is amazing.

The pizza is excellent. I love the thin crust and the sauce is yummy. The spaghetti and meatballs is tasty and some nights it's all you can eat for I think $6.95. Garlic bread is delicious too. The service is great and if you eat in its a very relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend Marty's.

Marty's is good for decent takeout homemade thin crust pizza. That's about it. While I enjoyed the dry crust (and the thinner, smaller boxes for some reason) nothing else stood out for me, which is unfortunate because the pizza looked as good as it smelled. I also recommend takeout because I ate here once and also didn't enjoy the loud christian music revival.

Our group of 5 stopped here on our way to Miller Park to get take-out for tailgating at the Brewers Game. We were looking for subs that were a step-up from Subway, and we found it at Marty's. My husband and I both got Philly Cheesesteak subs, and they were delicious. Everyone else in our group agreed that their subs were very good. The only downside was we had to wait quite a while for our take-out, but I can't complain about that too much because it means our food was made fresh.

I've heard tale of Marty's Pizza for many years, and it's never seemed appealing, but hey, we were hungry and thought we'd give it a try. The decor was unimpressive and the atmosphere left much to be desired. The lighting was terrible, just terrible... I can be very particular about the lighting, so maybe I'm being harsh, but harsh is the word I'd use to describe the lighting. The pizza itself was uninspiring, lacking of taste, flavor, or anything else that would serve to impress us. All in all, I would not return here, or recommend it. They also deliver, and I while your own house may be better atmosphere-wise, I don't think it will improve the pizza. I've heard that the other Marty's (the original one, in Brookfield) is much better, but I can't speak to that.

I concur with another reviewer, don't go for the atmosphere, go for the pizza. On an early Saturday evening, the dining room was teeming with families and large groups, and is a bit new looking and bright, but tidy and comfortable. The nachos were good to tide us over while waiting for pizza, crispy warmed chips topped with real shredded cheese. The not-cracker-thin pizza crust had a nice char flavor while not being burnt or browned, most likely from an oven with some age on it. The sausage, pepperoni and cheese were all nice quality, and the service was good. If you are in the area and jonesing for pie, give it a try.

Don't know if you can call Marty's a sleeper but I still think it's the best pizza "chain" around! Pizza is great and the crusts are even better.

Really good pizza. I got the cheese + 3 toppings, and it was COVERED in toppings. The flavor was great, the crust was crispy, and the guy that delivered our pizza was very courteous and got here quick. I wish these guys delivered to California, because they'd have a customer for life.

Solid pizza, but our server had dirt under her fingernails. Talk about a turn off. Lots of pizza choices in a very family-oriented environment. The pizza is good and reasonably priced. The service from both the host and our server was not good. Both were high school aged and either inexperienced or did not care (I lean towards did not care, because even an inexperienced server putting in the effort gets kudos from me, that's how one gets experience). The host didn't know what she was doing or what was going on. We had to remind her we were waiting. Overall good pizza, decent family environment. Chain-restaurant feel (not a "foodie" place).

Ordered a Caesar salad. Got the kids a pizza. Salad came out slimey and the lettuce was brown in spots. Chef came out and said it was dressed and that is how it was but he would make me a new one with no dressing. Came out and lettuce was crisp but just wasn't that good. Some parmesan shavings and under cooked home made croutons with no flavor. They still charges me for the salad then like two more people started saying comments like they couldn't believe I didn't like the salad. Didn't realize I had to argue about how crappy the salad was. Won't be back. Kids liked the pizza

Amazing pizza. If you're anywhere near Milwaukee, make sure you stop off here. They offer a wide variety of pizza toppings and also provide a gluten free option that doesn't sacrifice taste at all. HIGHLY recommend.

One of our favorite pizza restaurants. Nice, casual environment that is kid and family friendly. Everyone there has always been very nice and polite and the food has been great every time. We've been going there for years and just love it. We've had the pizza and pasta and it's all great. Very good thin crust pizza with tasty sauce. Love running into friends there as well. Overall great place to go.

I love this place. I think the pizza is fantastic. I only gave it four stars though because it is a little pricey and apparently not for everyone. You either love it like me or you hate it. I know more than a couple people that, for whatever reason, don't like the pizza. I think they're nuts but it is a recurring factor when groups are involved.

I grew up going to Marty's after hockey games at Nag and Eble; to this day I look forward to going there (probably frequent it every other month). The environment is nice and clean, but nothing special - unless your a kid and you love the arcade games- but he food is GREAT. I love their pizza; one of the best in Waukesha (and I'd give that honor to two establishments, one being here). They have a thin, crispy crust, which I do enjoy - so if thick is your thing, you may not appreciate this pizza as much as I do. My favorite pizza is their BBQ Chicken or Veggie, of course they do the classics well. They also have great spaghetti and meatballs. If you are looking to cater a party, the pizza and subs are always a hit (and they have plenty of size offerings at a reasonable rate). They do deliver (as does their Brookfield restaurant). Back to the actually environment, they have two rooms, with plenty of seating, so its great for bringing the family or a group of friends. They are quick and efficient, but keep in mind that they cook the pizza fresh.

Glad they offer gluten free! Great for groups.

Not impressed. Service was very, very slow. Way too much sauce for the spaghetti served. It was all you can eat spaghetti, and we should have asked for more spaghetti to go with the sauce. A few hours later I felt queasy, and the only new or different thing I'd had was dinner at Marty's. Coincidence - maybe, but we won't be testing that theory anytime soon. About $33 for a family of four.

I'm reviewing Marty's for delivery pizza only as I've never been inside the place. If you like thin crust rectangular pizzas, this is the place for you. Price-wise, you can probably do better. A pizza for our family (half-supreme, half-cheese) runs about $25. Add in a delivery change and tip, and you are getting close to $30. It is a definite upgrade over the chains though.

I've been to Marty's twice - once in 2011 and the second time earlier this month. Both times were during my van's break period in our 24-hour relay. By the time we got to Marty's I think all of us were hangry and I will admit that this may be slanting my review. Well, hangriness and the fact that they serve Spotted Cow (lovely WI beer) yelp.com/user_local_phot… and Sprecher's root beer (another WI company) yelp.com/user_local_phot… . Our server was great - attentive and quite amused by a group that contained two tutu wearing blondes and two guys with Ditka staches, all of whom were limping. We ordered cheese curds for our starter. yelp.com/user_local_phot… When they didn't arrive before our pasta, sandwiches, and pizza, Marty's gave us an extra order for free. I had the spaghetti with meat sauce - the sauce was a little sweeter than I typically like but still tasty, especially the sausage. yelp.com/user_local_phot… The garlic bread is two thick slices of white bread slathered in butter and garlic. yelp.com/user_local_phot… Sooooo delicious. My friends had sandwiches and were all happy with their choices. We also ordered a small "The Works" pizza and added pepperoni to it. yelp.com/user_local_phot… We left fat and happy and if I run the relay next year I will make sure to be in Van 1 so that I can eat at Marty's again.

Service can be slow at times, but I have no idea why the strong negative reviews are here. Very good pizza, and I've never noticed Christian rock blaring.
(4)Ted M.
The pizza wasn't bad, except the crust was like eating a saltine. I was hungry after work and this did the job, but I doubt I'd ever come back. I second the guy that commented on the loud Christian music, haha. Service was mediocre...nothing special here.
