Great harvest always has excellent & friendly service and the atmosphere is what you would expect more from a local sandwich & pastry shop. If you are looking for a great sandwich, you really can't go wrong here. They typically have a special bread for the day or week that is usually a must! Try the bacon, cheddar beer bread and you will not be disappointed. Of course the bread loaves are a wonderful treat and a nice deviation from store bought products. They do also serve collectivo coffee, if you are in need of caffeine.

Wow! This place is amazing, when you walk in you can see all the fresh bread that was made daily and it smells wonderful! I got the turkey and swiss and it was worth every penny. Please know that the turkey wasn't your lame deli turkey either this was like turkey that you have after thanksgiving day! Fresh and delicious! There was a woman working the counter who I could tell put her heart and soul into her sandwich creations and it was awesome!!

What's one of the best aromas ever? To me: Baking bread. The smell takes me back to my grandma's kitchen. Anytime I happen upon a bakery making bread, I start to drool. (well . . . not quite, but almost). Great Harvest is a nice alternative to a fast food place, or a big chain restaurant. It's small, personal, and with a menu that features any of their fresh breads. You can't go wrong. There's not a lot of seating here, so stopping by at a busy time may be problematic. I came in late one morning after the breakfast crowd and before the lunch brigade. The employee handed me a menu of specials and gave me some time to look it over after he made a couple of recommendations. I ended up ordering a sandwich, made with the whole grain wheat, that was made with two big slices of that dense, substantial bread that doesn't break apart at the first hint of moisture in a tomato, or the mayo, or the lettuce. It was a freshly-made tasty meal. If your timing is right, Great Harvest may also have some samples of the other available breads on that day. During my visit GH had samples, big slices -- not little tiny nibbles -- of a chocolate bread that was exactly like a fudge-brownie. How awesome is that? A dessert along with the main course. I wish I could have taken a loaf with me.

We came here for lunch with few of my co-workers. My goodness, the first thing you smell right when you open the door is a big smell of fresh bread. It was a great smell! They have so many different types of breads baked. There were sandwiches and soups, too, so that was what we all ordered for lunch. I had the Nashotah Cobb sandwich and their cream of chicken Italian soup. The sandwich was really tasty.. they had so many different options of bread for the sandwich. I just went with the multi-grain..and it was good. The soup was a bit salty, but it was good. Couldn't finish it since I ate a whole sandwich. My other co workers ordered grilled cheese and another grilled cheese with bacon. Another co worker ordered the same sandwich as I did..and someone ordered something else. Overall it is a cute place. Food is good. Smell is wonderful! It is a bit pricey, but it is worth an experience. They also sell soup beans on the side. Very interesting. One of the girls I ate with said that if you come by when they're closing the owner would hand out free breads to their customers. They need to get rid of it since they make their bread fresh everyday!

The fresh baked bread selection is phenomenal! We went here twice in two days and tried many different kinds of bread. They have a selection of breads that they give free samples of as soon as you walk in. Highly recommended!

I came here for lunch after hiking at Lapham's Peak. The atmosphere was warm and cozy with an amazing smell of freshly baked bread. My friend and I were able to sample the breads of the day. They also had tasty spreads to put on the generous sized samples. I would recommend trying the cinnamon bread. I ended up ordering the veggie sandwich and my friend ordered the tuna sandwich. All of the ingredients were fresh. I also checked out there merchandise and they have a pretty cool selection of different spreads and baking mixes.

Great Harvest is the best! The sandwiches are delicious. We often stop here for late lunch after skiing at Lapham Peak and are always in awe of how good the food is. Now they've added soup to the menu and, no surprise here, it's delicious. The breads are made fresh every day and we have yet to taste one we didn't like. My only complaint is that I wish Great Harvest were closer to our home so we could stop there more often. Although, then we might become breadaholics!

Always happy with a visit here. Sandwiches are delicious (the chicken salad is my favorite--fantastic in every way!), the African chicken & peanut soup is flawless, and the breads are rich and rewarding. I could sample everything in their display and then some! Actually, that's one of the best things about Great Harvest: they offer you samples of all their breads. In addition to the fresh and yummy food, the staff is wonderful.

Eat in and get takeout regularly. What a great spot for lunch. Nice selection of sandwiches made with bread baked on-site. This is not one of those sandwich places where you're hungry 2 hours after lunch. Very hearty and healthy. Staff is friendly and pleasant.

Nothing makes me more angry than my time being wasted. Waited in line behind a very needy and obnoxious couple who monopolized 10 minutes while people were waiting. And then when it was my time to order the cashier stepped to the "free bread sample" area to serve people who had just walked in. Was I invisible? What a waste of my time. Won't be returning.
