Bartender Tina was so pleasant and made a delicious "metal mayhem". Server Jesse also very nice. Great broccoli cheese bites and Caesar salad. Everything is priced well. They also sell cigarettes if you want to pay the extra 2 dollars for convenience sake. Which I was happy to. They have a nice beer garden you can take your drink out to. Have been here for live music in the past and overall just really enjoy chilling there. I recommend

One of the best metal venues ive ever been to:Schlitz tall boys for $3, $8 cover charge for a great band that played everything I wanted to hear (metal men), extremely hot buffalo wings, and even hotter barmaids.

Great spot in Cudahy! My husband and I stopped here on a Saturday afternoon out of curiosity to check it out. While heavy metal isn't exactly our thing, we still enjoyed our visit and intend to return! As beer lovers, we were pleasantly surprised with their tap beer selection and enjoyed a Lagunitas IPA and dogfish head's imperial IPA. We sampled a couple of appetizers too, which also exceeded our expectations. We had boneless wings (their teriyaki sauce was particularly delicious!) and Mac an cheese bites made with pepper jack. They had a nice kick! We can't wait to go back for more. Lastly the service was solid - Bartenders were attentive and pleasant and they showed us around s little when we asked about the stage area. They made a mistake on our food order (broccoli and cheese bites instead of Mac and cheese) but caught the error before bringing our order and corrected it immediately. Prices were reasonable as well! Even if you're not a metal fan, check it out!

Me and a few friends came for some good beer, we were promptly greeted and served. The bartender was friendly and very talkative making a nice cozy environment. I will come back to see the band lineup that they offer.

GREAT venue for live music. Local as well as national bands play here. Good food and reasonable drink prices......What this place really needs is some young attractive female bartenders to bring it to life on non band nights.

This used to be the Blue Pig and before that it was Vnuks, and it doesn't seem to have changed very much from the previous good reviews. They still book live music with an emphasis on metal (as the current name now reflects). Some of the bands that play here are pretty well known. Interior of the club looks pretty much the same as Blue Pig days - big bar with a long deep stage area off to the left - and there is now an ATM inside which is a very big help. The beer list remains decent, with a reasonable number of choices for people who want something other than the PBR/ Schlitz specials. Quite a few specialty cocktails, specialty shots, and shooters being offered also. As one who usually has to drive myself to shows, I also like that they have Sprecher's root beer on tap - nice change from drinking cola. Sound is good, especially considering that this is a relatively small place. Staff are friendly and seem genuinely interested in patrons enjoying themselves. As before, there's a lot of street parking both on the main street and on the residential side streets, and the locals do not seem to mind you parking on their street or generally being around. Metal Grill serves food of the pizza and brats variety. Their website promises "full kitchen coming soon" which would be a good idea since there are very few places to eat in the immediate area (mostly just other bars). My other suggestion would be to get some new better tables and chairs, especially if the menu expands, because the current tall tables and barstools are wobbly at best and don't have much room to hold two people's food and drinks, much less a group. Also, for the larger events or anything where vendors or club staff are taking up the available seating in the course of doing their jobs, it would be nice if the club put a bunch of folding chairs within easy reach. This may not be an issue for most shows but since I have been here twice for festivals that ran 8 hours or more per day, as the day wore on it got difficult to find a place to sit down for a rest inside that wasn't already in use by a merch vendor, club staff, or someone else assigned to work on the show. A rack of folding chairs would be a nice simple fix.
