Giddy-up. The first star is for still having one of the few original "ten-gallon hat" signs out front. I grew up in Cudahy and have been patronizing this location since the mid-80's. If I can sum up this restaurant in one word it would be "consistent." In this instance, that's not a good thing. Nothing has changed here...ever. If you want to step into a 1980's fast food time capsule, here's your chance. Every other fast food joint on the Packard - Chicago Ave. strip has either been completely renovated several times or has been torn down and completely rebuilt. Not Arby's. The only thing that has changed here are the 5 for $5 specials and the Jamochi-ness of the Jamocha shakes. Of course there are many new things on the menu over the past several years, including fish options. Really? Fish? Its "Arby's Roast Beef," not "Arby's super-processed Alaskan Pollock." Humph... I wouldn't order a burger from Taco Bell, I'm not ordering a fish sandwich from Arby's. I was going to rate this location one star based on the never changing roster of Huber-release inmates that this location seems to employ. It had been about a year since I was last scared off by a drive through worker so I went back yesterday to check it out. Surprise, surprise when I was greeting by a very clean, nice looking female employee who didn't have any visible neck or knuckle tattoos, For that, I upgraded my review to two stars. As far as the food goes, Arby's roast beef if the bomb. No one else come close. However, their presentation could use a little work at this location....

The service was horrible. The staff was very impolite and down right rude. In the dinning area you could here the staff talk about their personal life's and swearing every other word. The dinning area was dirty with overflowing garbage. The service was slow and very rude. The food was not equivalent to other local Arby's. If you really want Arby's I suggest traveling to another city. Very very disappointing and a total embarrassment to the whole Arby's franchise. I suggest this Arby's location needs a new owner or management team. Or I suggest this location be shut down all together to stop embarrassing the Arby's franchise

Yep, I actually went into an Arby's at dinner time and tried to order a salad. I wanted the roast turkey farmhouse salad. They were out. She was friendly enough about it, but still... no salad.

I'm thinking Older! Building, that is. And clientele. And employees. Everything is aged here. The food seems fresh though, so maybe it just needs some TLC. The service isn't anything to marvel at, but they've yet to screw up an order. I have trouble finding fault here, but it's also not stellar. Middle of the Roast Beef.

Usually get the regular roast beef sandwich, which is good. I tried the fish during Lent. Not bad, but you had to wait 6-8 minutes to get it since they don't make enough in advance. The really downer for me was yesterday. My daughter ordered their new chicken salad sandwich. On the picture it looks awesome. Got it home and there was a little circle of it in the middle of this big sandwich. Scraping it all to one side we got enough for ALMOST 1/2 sandwich. called to talk to the manager and got the answering machine. I left my phone number and a brief message. Haven't hear anything yet. Don't expect I will. I personally tried the new brisket sandwich. Not bad but I've been in the bathroom all morning.
