Wonderful fish. I was delightfully surprised at the quality and freshness. Will return and bring family.

This place has the best prime rib and the nicest people working there. I love it. My husband and I would eat prime rib here every night of the week if possible. Great Boston Creme Pie, friendly service and the best prime rib in the county. Who could ask for more?

Stopped by last night for dinner with my Dad. Glad I read the reviews that mentioned they don't take credit cards, so I was able to grab some cash before going. When we walked in Lavore's had the not so unusual WI supper club feel. We were seated immediately and informed that they were out of prime rib (it was only 7:30!). It was really too bad because it was the main reason for coming. I will admit, I was a little taken back by the steak prices and the prices of some of the sides. Make sure you bring enough cash with you. After checking out the menu, I decided to go with the Steak Lavore (which is actually trademarked on the menu). It was a 12 oz ribeye steak with garlic, I also chose garlic mashed potatoes and an Italian sausage soup. My dad went with a burger and fries. The soup was good, kind of a hybrid Italian Wedding Soup. They also came out with a warm loaf of bread which was very good. My dad ordered the side salad, which when I looked at it seemed rather small for the cost. When we got our entrees I was a little disappointed. My steak didn't really have much in the way of drill marks and there was little to no charring on the outside. The steak came with an "ice cream scoop" of mashed potatoes and exactly 9 green beans. The steak itself was tender and was cooked perfectly, I just wish I would have ordered the 16 oz steak. The sides were also good, but for the cost of the dinner, could have given larger portions of mashed potatoes and green beans. My dad really liked the burger and fries he ordered. All in all, for the area, Lavore's seems to fill the supper club void in the area. But if I go again I am going to go with some of their pasta dishes instead of shelling out the big bucks for an average steak.

The food was still awesome. The prime rib was some of the best I ever had. The big disappointment is that the no longer take credit cards? $160 dinner bill and u should have cash? Oh but for convenience there is an ATM in the establishment so that u get charged an additional $6 to pay ur bill. Oh and don't ask for a receipt. They cannot provide one. This was supposed to go on my expense account and now I had to pay for it out of my bank and I don't have a receipt to expense it. The owner practically yelled at me. Ridiculous.

We had a little of everything. Chardonnay was actually very nice. We had the lavore steak which was a ribeye with fresh roasted garlic on top, the pasta carbonara, the filet mignon and a pepperoni pizza. Everything was fantastic. We were the only table when we were in there but the restaurant could easily become a full house every night if word gets out. Coming from California, we were looking for a good dinner on our drive north and lavore's was exactly what we were hoping for. Best restaurant out of a very wide radius

Lavore's is a good place for cold drink on a hot day. The food menu is off the hook especially for Coloma Wisconsin. They are known for the prime rib and other steaks (filet is awesome!). You have to stop in and have one. They have gone cash only now and are closed Monday and Tuesday so I hope that doesn't hurt biz for them.

Excellent chef prepared food with homemade sauces. No other restaurant within 100 miles comes close.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
