I have to admit, I was kind of obsessed with getting an amazing wedding cake (I am a huge cake fiend!) I went to 6 different bakeries in the Milwaukee area, and none of them tasted as good as the sample we got from Delicatley Delicious. The only vendor that came even close to being as good was nearly twice as expensive! The best part of my wedding day was marrying my husband, but the best part of the day for most of my guests was this cake. I had numerous people come up to me during the reception saying that it was the best wedding cake they had ever had. The cake was 4 layers, each moist and delicious, with fluffy raspberry mousse and rich chocolate ganache filling. The buttercream frosting was light and not overly sweet-- it was perfect. Even my non-cake loving husband devoured his slice! They were easy to work with and the cake design turned out exactly as I had requested. I could not recommend getting a cake from Delicatley Delicious more highly. Luckily, they make more than just wedding cakes, and I would certainly order their cakes and cupcakes in the future : )

They made beautiful and delicious "Totoro" cupcakes for our daughter's birthday get together.

The best darn cake you've ever tasted or seen. My family has been ordering cakes from Delicately Delicious for years. They are always raved about. The cake is fluffy, the fruit fillings taste fresh, and the frosting is creamy and light without being overly sweet. So much better than the super market cakes that make your teeth hurt to eat. My favorite combination is cheesecake on the bottom, chocolate on top and raspberry filling in between. YUM!

This is the BEST place ever to get a cake! We have been getting our cakes here for years, and recently Delicately Delicious has moved to a new location and it's better than ever. They now have a retail area with cupcakes and other goodies. I recently called and they had a cake all made up and ready to go... exactly what I needed. Not only are the cakes the best ever and the buttercream the best I've ever had (light, fluffy not too sweet)... they have online ordering that is super easy. Great choice combinations (I'm partial to the chocolate cake with mocha filling)... and I have NEVER been disappointed. I've ordered from Delicately Delicious for lots of occasions and I always bring business cards with me because people always ask me where I got the cake from. It's that good. Seriously. :)

We ordered our wedding cakes from Delicately Delicious and they were the talk of the wedding. For the same price as getting a tiered cake we ordered 3 different flavored 12 inch cakes. They were moist and had just the right amount of sweetness. We ordered vanilla with vanilla buttercream, chocolate with raspberry filling, and vanilla with mocha filling. My favorite was the chocolate raspberry but they were all delicious. The price was very reasonable and they delivered the cakes to our venue. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a cake for an event. I continue to hear from my guests about how delicious our cake was!

My daughter had ordered cupcakes from Delicately Delicious for my grandson's 1st birthday party. I have had many cupcakes over the years and I have to say these were the worst tasting cupcakes I've ever had. I'm not Martha Stewart, but at my age I feel that I know what a good cupcake should taste like and these cupcakes are far from delicious! The cake part had no taste whatsoever; it was like eating nothing. The so called butter cream frosting tasted like a mouth full of lard...and I know what lard tastes like because back in the 1950's my grandmother made cakes with lard frosting which were horrible (sorry grandma but it's true). Even my granddaughter didn't finish her cupcake because of the poor taste...so what does that say when a five year old doesn't want to finish a cupcake. I would NOT recommend the cupcakes at Delicately Delicious...save your money!

I recommend them for every wedding. Seriously the BEST cupcakes in town. They work with your budget and are so moist and fresh upon arrival for your big day. People are still raving about them from two years ago. I recommended 3 friends that used them for their weddings and they were fantastic! The cream cheese frosting is the best!

Everything about Delicately Delicious is just wonderful. I'm usually not a frosting fan, but the frosting here is one of the main reasons I love it so much! I stop to grab a cupcake or two every chance I get and I've ordered two cakes for two separate occasions and they couldn't have turned out any better. Highly recommend!

Main thing I can say is: awkward...Upon walking into this little shop you are already directly in front of the cash register, leaving you no choice but to buy something. Ultimatley we ended up buying one of their Chocolate Truffle Cupcakes, but it wasn't until later that night that we actually tried it. Now I am extremely particular when it comes to desserts and the sampling of this cupcake was no exception. Overall, it sure tasted like the cupake had been sitting in the display case for a while. The refrigerator thing that it was sitting in surely served to suck out whatever moisture was originally in the cupcake--making for a super dry cake that was lacking in the flavor department. As for the frosting, the taste of shortening or some type of hefty fat was so prominent that it overwhelmed the integrity of the cupcake and dwarfed whatever flavor-potential the cake could have had. I honestly wouldn't doubt if 75% of that frosting was straight up shortening--that's how horribly strong it was. All criticisms of the cupcake aside, the store itself was very nicely decorated/had a good theme to it. Even though I found this particular cupcake to be a disappointment, the other desserts here may very well be 'delicately delicious'.

Couldn't be happier with our wedding cake from Delicately Delicious. Beautiful presentation and so tasty! Highly recommended and if dessert is important to you, well worth every penny.

Store front! Delicately Delicious moved and now has a store front where you can drop in and pick up a cupcake or two. YUM! I was there last weekend. My cupcake was mmmmmmm mmmmmmm.

I had a cake from Jenn for my wedding and man was it delicious! She even got the colors correct even though I never gave her sample(my bad, so many small details for the wedding this got lost int he shuffle). We sat down a few months before the wedding and went over what I wanted it to look and taste like. I had 3 tiers, 2 of white cake with strawberry ganache/jam and one with red velvet cake with cream cheese filling. I got nothing but compliments on the cake. It was not only beautiful but exactly what I asked for and it tasted wonderful! I had tasted cake from her and 2 others(eat cake in Milwaukee and sweetheart cakes in Port Washington) and hers was by far the best. The reason only 4 stars is because her communication is a little lacking. I understand she is very busy but there were a few emails that were not responded to and she also stated in at least 2 conversations that her email is at home and her paperwork for my cake was at the bakery, creating a disconnect with what I wanted and what the emails contained. Also, she stated her delivery would be between 3 and 4 when the ceremony started at 4 and the reception at 6. As I was waiting to have the guests seated in the ceremony room I had asked someone to make sure the cake was there. Not something I really wanted to be concerned with at that point. Overall I would definitely recommend her to friends who are needing a cake of any sort, but warn them to be on top of everything with details and such. I was planning my wedding from a different state so I couldn't just stop in and see how things were going. Her price was definitely reasonable and she had a military discount.! Score!

Cupcakes have very little cake and way too much buttercream. The little bit of cake there is is quite good and moist, but it's so overwhelmed by the amount of buttercream on top (and in some of the fillings) that you have to separate it from the other parts just to taste it. I tried four flavors - chocolate with strawberry filling, salted caramel, red velvet, and passionfruit (I think it was passionfruit). Once you remove the excess buttercream, you've paid $3 for about two tablespoons of actual cake. The unfilled red velvet was closest to cupcake proportions, but most of their flavors seem to have fillings. Overall, expensive and disappointing (if you actually like the cake part and not just a mouth full of buttercream).

Absolutely LOVE this place! We got our cupcakes and a small cake made there for our wedding. The did an amazing job and best part is they are really reasonably priced! Now we go back there all the time for special events!

My best friend just ordered cupcakes from D.D. for my baby shower and everyone raved about them. She ordered the creme brulee, hot chocolate, and white cupcake flavors. My favorite was a toss up between creme brulee and hot chocolate, but my mom loved the white cupcakes--she said they reminded her of her wedding cake. Delicious and beautiful!!
