In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. An old school supper club type place that is not stuffy and has a warm atmosphere to it. I felt very welcome as soon as we walked in. The view is great and the staff is friendly. The bar also seems like it'd be a fun bar to hang out at if I lived near the area. I ordered the pan fried walleye and it was well prepared. It came with very tasty vegetables and mediocre "garlic roasters". I was intrigued by the name but they were nothing special - just roasted cubed potatoes. The fish was very good though and I would order it again. I didn't try the pizza, but my cohorts all enjoyed it.

Horrible service. Waited ten minutes to be greeted at the bar. Drinks took 20 minutes to get and food over an hour. Not even what we ordered. Online menu totally different. We spoke with the owner who yelled at us. I will never return to this dump!

The Waterfront is a classic supper club style restaurant with a great view of Brown's Lake. I agree with other reviewers that the building itself could use a little love. However we found the service to be excellent and attentive - both the bar and waitstaff. We stopped early on a Saturday and had a few drinks at the bar before moving to the dining room - table overlooking the lake. We started with an appetizer - Mushroom Encroute. Perfectly baked puff pastry stuffed with mushrooms, cheese, and served with a cream sauce. Almost too rich for a starter! Dinners come with soup or salad, and a potato choice. The clam chowder was great in consistency and flavor, and the salad also good. We both opted for the prime rib, being a Saturday night. The cut was quite large and thick, served with Au Jus, vegetables, and baked potato. We finished the night off with a great key lime pie. There is a lakeside bar downstairs as well that is open in the summertime.

To start, the view of the lake in the dining area is wonderful.....that's really the only good thing I have to say about this restaurant. Our waitress acted like she didn't have time for us throughout the entire meal. My beer was poured into a dirty glass, yuk. We ordered the fried perch and pan fried walleye. The fish was soggy and flavorless. And we received our entrees before our soup and salad. The sweet potato fries were ok, probably because they were pre-made. Our daughter was happy with her chicken strips and french fries. Over priced bad food. Unless you enjoy chicken strips and french fries, keep driving, the moose lodge in Elkhorn has the best fish around.

If you are looking for a nice dinner on the water this is a great place to go. Food was reasonably priced and delicious. I can't give it 5 stars because two orders were mixed up, salad came before our appetizer and my petite filet was very petite...but for a local Wi place it is definitely worth checking out. Sunset was beautiful.

If you're looking for a great dinner at a great price with a great view of Brown's lake - this is your place. I had blue cheese and carmelized onion-stuffed filet, and with a salad, veggies and potato it cost $16.95. It was absolutely delicious - the steak was cooked exactly as ordered and the char was perfect. The service was great too although I somehow felt rushed even though there were open tables.

Fish fry wasn't bad. Excellent bruschetta and excellent potato pancakes. Service was terrible. Got our own drinks and placed appetizer order at bar because server was too busy. We got our own menus, our own ice waters, our own drinks at the bar. Server finally took order. Server seemed unable to multitask. Finally order came and applesauce was missing for potato pancakes. She said I will be right back with it. Never came back with it. Had to finally go back to bar to ask if we could pay bill. Food was good enough that I would go back but service was so bad that I have doubts about ever returning. Food was probably at least 4 star. But service was a zero. Overall rating was a three but based on service that's probably generous. This place was busy so they have customers BUT the owners really need to get more servers or train them better or both. We came by water and parked at dock. Another boater we talked with agreed service was bad - they spent 3 hours at restaurant. They have a nice patio with great view of lake. The pizza looked and smelled great. I regret not trying it.

We waited an hour and a half for our food to come. No one came by to explain what the problem was, or offer drinks or snacks, they just ignored us, as they did other diners. Clearly something was going on in the kitchen. Every time we asked when was our food coming, we got a vague answer. Finally some one was brought in to address the issue. She was very apologetic, but it did not make up for the long wait and very average food.

Went back there and ordered the chicken alfredo. The chicken was a greasy thin deep fried chicken breast that was horrible. The sauce was a gross cream sauce with a tart flavor, really not much flavor and it sure the heck didn't taste much like a good alfredo sauce. Beer was cold, the company was great, and the view was great. Unfortunately the food sucked and the attitude of the bartender was a little poor also. The girlfriend and hew dughter got the ravioli and the chicken something salad. The ravioli was not good either. I tried it, it was dry or something weird. Not what it should taste like. Apparently the salad was good, can't say myself I don't eat salad. For the price there are much better options unless you absolutely have to look over Brown's lake.

I want to qualify this three-star review by first saying the pizza is five stars. Im a FIB that loves his pizza, and this is some of the best Ive had. The fish fry is excellent.....at times...and the view of the lake and outdoor eating situation in the summer is the best around. The renovated deck and dock is a nice touch and well done. I want this place to be a five star review so badly but... Our dining experience is rarely consistent from visit to visit. The kitchen can be extremely slow at times, and when I say extremely slow I'm talking about over an hour wait for fish and the like. Keep in mind the waits are usually only in the summer or at peak dining times, most likely due to a small and outdated kitchen. If this place had some added capital injected into the business for renovations and management rethought some of its processes, this place could be the pride of Burlington.

Went there on a Thursday night around 6pm with a friend. We were greeted and seated right away...but then again, there was a half full bar and maybe 2 other tables in the dining room. A few minor details...crumbs on the table, dirty salt shaker, and sticky drink menu. I've worked in a restaurant for many years so I notice those things. It looked very clean inside, but boring. There was absolutely nothing on the walls! It was kind of weird. No tap beer, and no liquor bottles to look at while trying to make a selection. The view of the lake is awesome though! Service was excellent. It looked as though our server was being trained that night, but she definitely had experience in the industry. No complaints there. The food...I've had much better. I ordered the steak sandwich medium rare and my friend ordered a pizza and a side salad. The pizza was excellent. When our salads came out (mind you it's $3.95 for a dinner salad when it doesn't come with the meal) it was a pile of iceberg lettuce, a few strips of carrots, a cucumber, and two tomatoes. I like my greens and this was extremely lacking. Not to mention definitely not work the $3.95! So our dinner comes out. Mine looks like a filet on top of some toasted white bread (which after tasting, seemed to be sourdough), smothered with haystack onion rings, and some sautéed carrots on the side. There was wayyy to many onion rings. The carrots could have been done a little more. My steak, not done at all. I cut into it and it was very red, and cold inside. I figured since it took almost 40 minutes to get the food...when it wasn't busy...this should be done perfectly. I sent it back. It came back out maybe 5-10 minutes later. Still a little undercooked for medium rare, but I ate it anyway. It was very charred on the outside - as if they just put it on the grill and put a weight on it. I could only taste charcoal. I wouldn't recommend that entrée at all. I'd be curious to possibly try their fish fry. Other than that, I probably won't go back.

We had a very nice experience at the Waterfront. We ate in the bar and the bartender, John, made us some good drinks and provided good service. We chatted with several regulars at the bar. The shrimp scampi the the pasta carbonara special were both very good. We didn't have a long wait for our food. I enjoyed the view and the "supper club" atmosphere. I would definitely go back if I was in the area.

We went Friday night at 6:40. It was very busy so the service was lacking. We waited a. Long time for our server to approach us. Drinks took long but salad was fast. Of course our mushroom stuffed pastry appetizer came after our salad. I hate that! I ordered a plain filet medium rare and baked potato. Hubby ordered smothered filet with haystack onions and a glaze. There about 18$ a piece. Let me tell you they are worth the wait! Absolutely tender and delicious! I will absolutely be back! Id like to add that it was extremely loud! We were practically yelling over our food. Bar was packed!

The Waterfront is conveniently located on the edge of Browns Lake with an old supper club vibe. While feeling that quite a bit of remodeling is necessary on this place, inside and out, I will admit the food and service were very good. Friendly bartenders inside and outside. We sat on the deck with cocktails when we first arrived, watching lake activities, but when we started to feel too warm, we went indoors for a drink at the bar and the service was attentive and pleasant. We were seated at a nice table at the window overlooking the lake when we went to the dining room. Our waitress was great with recommendations and timing. My pan fried walleye was delicious. We make freshly caught walleye at home, and this was definitely much better than my own and much appreciated. Another entree was BBQ ribs with a sweet sauce and generous portions. Onion strings for an opener were crispy, just made (not reheated) and abundant. Brownie dessert was the perfect finale for a reasonably priced meal at a place that brought back memories of long ago visits to Browns Lake.
