Went back for lunch and had the south west nachos with beef. It was mixed color tortilla chips, taco meat, three cheeses, green onion, red onion with salsa, sour creme and jalapeños on the side. It was very large for $8.00 and was easily a meal for two. It was very tasty and for nachos it was one of the better tones I have had. It had creamy cheese sauce mixed with real cheese all over it. The tortilla chips were of good quality and not Taco Bell style. Over all I was pretty impressed with the nachos. The menu has a lot of good things on it and to see the high quality of something like nachos which is probably not the best seller be so good is awesome. I really have to explore more of the menu here. I'm all over trying places so it's hard to explore most menus to there full extent but it is what it is.

Pete's is one of those places that is so bad, it's good. The service is laughably slow (makes NO sense at all how long food takes to come out), and the food is just a little above average. However, there's a lot of cheesy-friendly personality in the staff members, and they recognize regulars, which is a big deal for me. It's a great place to kill a lunch break or stop in with some coworkers after the workday.

Went for Friday fish fry. The food was very good. Service was quick even with a packed house. Overall a good experience.

The food here is vastly underrated and he has great specials! The AYCE Thursday ribs special is amazing and his Friday fish fry has several options. But nothing tops his homemade pizza! He also has live bands on Friday nights which are always entertaining and the crowds are electric. If you want to be wowed stop in at Pete's for an overall great time!

It was a pretty nice place to have lunch after a long morning of golf down the road. The main thing that I thought was a little unprofessional was the two staff were sitting down talking in a booth as we walked in, granted it was 2pm. Other than that the service was pretty good and the food came out quick and delicious. The burger I had was well worth it and was a very reasonable price for the two of us and gave a great amount of food for the price. Overall -service was good but I would like to not have the servers sitting down as we are walking in and trying to order our food -food was great and very very reasonable for the amount of money you spend.

First, this was my first time at Pistol Pete's. My friend and I got a table in the dining area. He arrived before me and asked for an iced tea. The waitress had little to no knowledge of their drink offerings so he ended up with an iced green tea, which was awful. He also ordered the artichoke dip, which was average. We ordered 2 pizzas and 2 root beers. The peperoni lovers pizza (I think that's what it was called) was on a hand tossed crust. The mushrooms were canned and the peperoni didn't have much spice. It wasn't a bad pizza, but it wasn't a good one either. Our other pizza was a thin crust baked potato pizza. The sauce was ranch dressing, and it was topped with mozzarella, slices of baked potatoes, bacon bits, and chives. It was served with a side of sour cream. It was a decent pizza and a fun idea. Our waitress was rather bad. She looked at me while I was trying to get her attention, then proceeded to walk right by my table without saying a word. It wasn't until I stopped her with an "excuse me" that she turned around to see what I needed. I wouldn't go back to the restaurant. The experience was pretty bad and the pizza was mediocre. I would go back to the bar to check it out. I hope the service is better there.

We have tried this place twice and both times food and service were less than par. Everyone I talk to that lives near this place says the same thing there to go orders are never right and service is bad.

Had the personal buffalo chicken pizza for an appetizer. It was awesome! Also had the beer battered fish fry with potato pancakes. That was delicious too. Prices were reasonable and the service was very good! I would definitely go back again.

Foods good - expecially the pizza and wings. Our favorite spot when in the area. Prices are good.

Wow, bad.... Really bad! I had visions of Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmare show in my head as I choked down this "food".

Pizza is delicious and they have good week night bar/food deals but the service is less than mediocre in the bar area. Have had several poor service experiences there but enjoy the pizza enough to tolerate it.

Pistol Pete's is a good call when it comes to Pizza. If you find yourself in the area I would tell you it's a pretty safe bet. Pete's is a fair sized establishment. No problems were had with parking or seating. Pete's has a pretty good sized menu as well. A host of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, etc. ( foodspot.com/Clients/WI/… ) I think it's safe to say there is something for everyone. Except for the people that live on a diet of rainwater and frozen seal fat. Those people might be a little let down. Basically it's about the pizza. Specifically the baked potato pizza. It's a bit hard to explain how the potatoes on this particular pizza are better then one else where. I am a sucker for potato pizza. It comes on a thin crust with Mozzarella, Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheese, baked potato, chives, Ranch Dressing, bacon bits, onion, sour cream, Pete's Special Seasonings. I hate to say it... it must be those "special seasonings". The service here has been good as well. They were able to accommodate our large group with no hiccups. The servers have been friendly and personable. I have had no issues with take out either. The orders have been completed in a timely fashion depending when the order has been placed and there were no issues with an order being screwed up. If you are in the area and haven't been here before you should really mix it up. Even if you don't want pizza (whats wrong with you?) there is still something for you. Brookfield is an odd ball. There are a fair amount of chains and sometimes you have to search a little to find the true gems. For pizza I have no problem recommending this place.

Pistol Pete's is one of Brookfield's hidden gems. Their fish fry is the best myself and my wife have ever had. They not only have traditional baked/fried cod, but also perch, walleye and two kinds of breading - beer batter or italian crumb-style. Never had a bad meal there, but seating is limited for dinner crowds and especially Friday nights, so get there early!

A year later and unfortunately my update is to report that the fried chicken dinner quality has really fallen off. The last few times we got it, it was overcooked, with especially the white meat portions being very dry. Also, they can't seem to get the fries correct. If you order an 8-piece chicken dinnner, it comes with a large styrofoam tray of french fries, and 4 coleslaws. However, if we have extra people for dinner and order a 16-piece dinner, it still only comes with the same amount of fries and coleslaws. I've tried ordering 2-8 piece dinners, I've tried reminding the person taking my phone order that we would like 'double' fries to go with the meal, at which point I was told that my best bet was to order an extra fry! Sometimes even with ordering the extra fries, we still only get 1 container of fries! No idea why the kitchen is so inconsistent, but it's very frustrating to get home and not have enough fries to share out amongst a group. We have pretty much given up on the take-out chicken, but our dine-in experience has remained consistently good.

I really really hate to give this place three stars because their pizza is the best in Milwaukee if you ask me. But last nights service was the worst I have ever had. We have been coming here for years. I remember coming here with the whole family back when I was three years old. Over the years, they have served us some of the best pizza I have ever had outside of New York City and Chicago. But last nights service was absolutely despicable. The reason I am writing this review is in hopes for the owner or manager to see it. We were first seated at our table and the boy came around with water. After about five minutes, the waitress came over and took our drink orders. My mom and my twenty-nine year old sister both ordered beers and, understandably, the waitress asked for my sisters ID. So my sister handed it to her, and she took one look at it and said "This doesn't look anything like you." My sister joked around a little, and my mom chimed in thinking she wasn't serious. But she did not smile, instead, she looked down at my nearly thirty year old sister and accused her of carrying a fake ID. My sister challenged the waitress, and the waitress demanded she see another form of ID with her name out it like a credit card AND to verify her street address. My sister is a bit on the short side, and does not look old at all. But to accuse my sister of carrying a fake ID in FRONT of her MOTHER is just awful. I mean, I understand the consequences if the restaurant serves alcohol to minors. However, there is no reason a waitress should be held accountable for not spotting a fake ID. More-so, she should not have been so rude about it. Especially considering my sister does look and act WAY over 21. So she took a really long time to get the beers. Ten minutes maybe. Then we took our order. Pretty painless. But the pizza took nearly forty-five minutes to get to our table. The large group (six people) next to us came in after us, ordered their appetizer, got their appetizer, got their food, and ate it all before we even got our pizza. The water boy finally brought out the parmesan and pepper, but our pizza didn't come for another twenty minutes. The waitress very rarely came around to check on us. My mom ordered another beer, and it took at least fifteen minutes to arrive. The worst part is, the manager was sitting next to us talking to the large group the whole time. Didn't say a word about it. Unfortunately, my mom left her a 12 percent tip. She should have left no tip if you ask me.

Where is Gordon Ramsey when you need him? I brought my family in to a filthy table. We had to replace our silverware and a couple plates. The decor was very unpleasant and depressing. The bathrooms were clean though.m wish they spent more cleaning time in the dinning room. As for the food, for a 3 top to wait 45 min for a food at 5pm is rediculous. Many tables with more people were served before us. Ordered a meatball sandwich, salad, and veal parm. 45 min? Come on? First off the meatballs were extremely dry. The salad had warm lettuce with very little on it. The veal should be taken off the menu. That was not veal, I don't know what that was. Dry, tough and the mozz was a heavy paste that I just scraped off. My advice, shrink the menu and get quality fresh food.
