Top notch walleye fish fry, and great beer selection. The karaoke on Saturday nights during the summer is a treat too - this is truly a fun place and always first on my list when I'm up in Vilas County.

Great place we try and go to every year while staying at a friend's in Minocqua. Great ambience, friendly staff, and good food. The walleye fingers are a personal favorite, and their wings aren't bad either.

After a terrible experience next door, we popped in for a cocktail or three... I asked bartender Cody to keep a bag of frozen items as cool as he could. I figured worst he could do is say no. At least they weren't getting hotter in the car before we head back to the cabin. Without hesitation he offered their cooler - despite the snickering of some customers. 13$ for two fingers of Devils Cut, a Kettle and tonic, and a Spotted Cow pint AND keeping our items cool makes me want to come back. Several families were in having burgers and fish. They all seemed happy. Prices are very reasonable, and the service was excellent. Boom. Sit at the bar, perhaps play pool, but bring your own dart tips cause they are running low. Haha.

Had lunch here today while doing the Art Tour. Sandwiches were all good; Cuban, roast beef and brisket, but the cheese curds were the star! Light, fluffy and delicious, I believe they are the best I have ever eaten. Service was fine; one gal had it covered. Nice draft selection, too.

Jesse puts his heart and soul into this place, and it shows. Great food ... Good tap beer selection. Krystal is awesome behind the bar if you're lucky enough to meet her!

Unexpected surprise in the Northwoods. Went in there Friday night because it was near where we were staying and we wanted to keep it simple with beer and fish fry. The place was awesome. Walleye was amazing. Wings for appetizer was a strong choice also. They were out of their specialty, cheese curds, so we had to go back Saturday night with friends. Cheese curds did not disappoint. Everybody loved the choice and karaoke was an absolute bonus. We ended up rolling out of there full of anything that could be fried, beer and whiskey. Great place.

Stopped by last weekend and had the chicken tenders. Holy cow are they great, moist and tender! The fries are not bad either. Friendly atmosphere and great service too. I definitely recommend.

Over the years, we've had chicken wings from too many places to count. We have found our new ALL-TIME #1 chicken wings at the Boulder Beer Bar. What a delicious surprise. The cheese curds are excellent as well. The server was very nice on a difficult night over the July 4th weekend. BBB is now our go-to place for wings and bar food Up North.

This joint is a usual stop for us while winter snowmobiling. I have eaten here several times over the years and the food is actually quite good for bar grub. Really good hand breaded chicken fingers, really good cheeseburgers, homemade soups etc. I'd like if they had a deeper selection of draft beers but overall, the place is decent and reasonably priced.

There are four good things here and more than four BAD THINGS. Beer, Pizza, BBQ, and fried cheese curds. We went for lunch the other day after a harrowing canoe trip. I had the BBQ chicken sandwich special and the wife had Steak Wrap. I've had ribs from Boulder before and they were pretty good but this experience is a major let down Chicken Sandwich in white sauce was left a little dry an average sandwich for $8.95. The Steak Wrap was terrible. It claimed to be steak marinated in Tequila Lime. No way was it!!!! Wasn't even cut up to fit properly in the wrap and it included huge chunks of FAT and GRIZZLE. Told our waitress, who told the owner. Response was "It's Ribeye it's supossed to have some fat". Not in a wrap buddy! Okay besides for the fact that the customer is ALWAYS RIGHT!!!!! It wasn't like we were trying to scam them as we purchased "to go" food and spent $50.00 on lunch!!!! The meat was nasty and inedible at times and was worthy of a complaint. Too bad the owner couldn't throw a free beer out to save these future customers. We won't be going back. I feel there are better value options in the Northwoods. . Granary, PI Pub, Gooch's, will be on the list for lunch next time.

Above average bar food, with friendly and efficient staff. Several TVs in the area, but they really should replace the old standard-definition projection TV in the dining room. They used to be the only place in the area that served Goose Island Honkers Ale, but not anymore :(. They need a good pale ale on their menu. Good for groups. The owner/chef is a graduate of CIA I believe.

Was vacationing in lake tomahawk amd went For a drive to go shopping and antiquing. We ended up in boulder junction and were hungry so stopped here. Simple bar and grill decorated in knotty pine. We sat outside on the large picnic tables because while no crowded, it was loud inside with conversation. We both ate sandwiches and fries and were quite pleased with our selections. The waitress was attentive.

Great spot for lunch or dinner in Boulder Junction. Since it is in the main touristy area of BJ, you might fight some crowds on the weekends at peak times but the staff is prompt and friendly and the food is good. Standard bar fare but kid friendly and not too expensive even for a touristy spot.
