My wife loves a great bar burger. We were on the road and decided to stop here for lunch. They make a great burger. Hand packed and just a little greasy. The onion rings and fries are great as well. This may be our regular stop on our trip from St. Louis to Oshkosh. Tip. The front is a bar and allows smoking. The back overlooks the river and is a dining room without smoking. Will probably eat there next time.

Have always heard good things about this place, we were close and reviews looked good so decided to try. Out of Spotted Cow on tap - disappointing. My cheeseburger showed up without the cheese, wife's well done burger was undercooked. They brought a new one, but nothing comped on the bill. This place is just OK. Was a little concerned that it was empty on a Saturday night. We won't return.

My boyfriend and I stopped in here in a desperate attempt to cure my hangover from the night before. We were not disappointed! I ordered the Triple Battle Burger which was 3/4 lb topped with bacon, cheese and two fried eggs. The onion rings that accompanied the burger were delicious as well. Washed down with a cold Spotted Cow, I was cured! We can't wait for our next visit to Hanson's.

still amazing burgers, but what happened with the prices? 3 months ago I paid $7.25 for the ultimate fighter burger. their website still lists the price as $6.95. tonight the price was $10.25! in my original review I said the prices were too low, that they would be justified in charging $10 for that burger. damn, I should have kept my mouth shut! still a great burger, and worth every penny, however, it used to be an amazing burger at an amazing price.

Just stopped here on a road trip through the area. $2.50 beers, excellent large, well priced burgers. Ask for the baccon jam - goes great on anything. Few miles off the highway but absolutely worth the drive.

The only downside to this place is that they seem to have taken the brat-topped burger off the menu! Maybe it's just a summer specialty? In any case, I will have to come back and wash it down with a few more Spotted Cows. Great burgers, crispay-crispay tots, and golden fried onion rings so big you can wear them as bracelets. The nautical theme, as well as the bar overall, gets a big "Argh" from this pirate.

The first time I came here I had a hamburger topped with a bratwurst. That's like topping Scarlett Johannson with Tina Fey. Amazing.
