One of my most unique restaurant experiences. Bartenders who don't know what they are doing to wait staff that didn't have a clue how to serve guests. Maybe Friday was a off night for staff but the restaurant was far from being at capacity & the staff was really struggling.

Killer Wednesday wings, but the bartenders are either in no hurry or are under manned for the volume of people that flock there for the wing night.

Well I walked in after work. The lights were on so bright it looked like a diner. And then the bartender came up to me and asked me if I wanted the senior menu. Wow. I might be close to being the senior but I'm not 55. When you go up to a bar and ask for a glass of wine, you should not be told the senior menu. The lights were on so bright that it really felt like a diner. I don't think that they want bar business there at all. Yikes! (Feeling old and shouldn't !)

I was here for wing night, and for under $10, including tax and tip, I ate all the wings I could, and had a draft beer. The wings were surprisingly large and meaty with good flavor. The place was packed, which is always a good sign.

We sat at the bar and enjoyed our Giant Appetizer Platter of Mirth (officially known as the Appetizer Sampler). Addictive onion strings, decent artichoke dip, cheese curds and two really good stuffed potato skins. Fried Food! Service was friendly and attentive. Bonus: decent selection of Wisconsin beers on tap.

We were staying in the hotel it is attached to so we decided to give it a try. We ordered a hand made pizza and it was pretty good. Also chicken wings were nice. I was surprised to have good food in baraboo.

I was staying at the attached hotel and this place was a life saver as the other choices for eating in the area looked bleak. I ha d a delicious Cajun salmon over pesto pasta and some local draft beer. The walls are painted with Tuscony faux finishes and nice ambient pennant lights. The tables and chairs though are from 1970 or 1980.
