Ordered the spicy gyro a couple times while working in Ashland. AMAZING. The meat was delicious. Very happy to find some Mediterranean eats in town. My coworker was not a fan of the chicken, seems like other reviews aren't super positive on some of the food, stick with the gyro and you'll be happy.

Ordered the shrimp po boy on a pita. It came out with nothing on it except shrimp. I asked for my toppings. They were out of lettuce. Came back with raw yellow onion and chopped tomato. My friend got the chicken pita and it looked nothing like chicken and tasted nasty. He got his money back. Poor customer service all together. I don't recommend this place AT ALL

No. Just.....NO. We've driven past numerous times and were drawn in by the fun decor outside (and the lack of gyros anywhere else near the U.P.). Nearly the entire menu is brown, fried food, with the exception of the gyros. These were tired pieces of previously frozen (and pre-sliced), packaged gyro meat on a pita (which was fresh, at least) with a pale, watery tomato and tzatziki made from sour cream (ick). The ony authentic thing about them or this place is the surly service. $30 (cash only) for a lunch of greasy fried food (mini corn dogs, fries, onion rings) and a couple of bad gyros (no drinks) was wayyyyyy too much. Could've had a better meal at McD's down the road, sadly.

Our friends said to try it and like other reviewers were curious. Their experience was good. Ours was not. Overcooked and exploded cheese curds. No lettuce, "we're out of Ranch right now?" It was a Sunday afternoon and maybe it was the B team. The worst part is I wished would have just done McDonalds drive thru.

Authentic gyros fresh and well made. Very unexpected find in little Ashland.

Great Gyros!! They have a number of other offerings, but you're there for the gyros, right? This is a cash only establishment, and there are only 4 stools in a cramped indoor area, with some seating outside. On a nice day, just go across the street to a lakeside viewing area and enjoy your lunch.

Great Gyro sandwiches, they also have beer. Closes at 7 on weekdays, which is kind of a bummer. AMAZING GYROS! Sandwich is $6, if you go there, your total bill will likely be $6 plus the cost of a drink (they have a fridge full, including beer) I would stick with the Gyro and stay away from most of the other stuff, which is generally lots of fried food and is run-of-the-mill. If you go during the right time of year, the tomatoes are fresh off the vine in front of the store. Just look for the big double-decker bus on Lakeshore ...

For a second i thought it was a joke until I realized that I had been divested of legal tender. $6 for a desultory cod sandwich that was about four bites big. Still very hungry.
