Really not a great dining experience. Ate at the bar and in addition to our drinks tasting funny (we think it might be the chemicals they wash their glasses in?) We felt very rushed to finish our meals quickly and the service was extremely poor. The food, however, was quite good. I had the Portobello mushroom sandwich which was excellent. Next time I would like to sit at a table instead of at the bar and try to go on a slower evening.

Interesting establishment - wish they were on the riverfront. and not by the mall ..but overall good experience. MBC is in the former BDubs location on Casaloma so traffic and parking may be irritating but don't let that put you off. Good selection of tap brews, wait staff is awesome and atmosphere busy and friendly. Sports bar welcoming atmosphere. Haven't had a burger yet but the deep fried cheese is respectable I wouldn't call them curds (because they weren't) but who can argue with chunks of WI cheese battered and fried - lovely

Good burger and cheese curds, but I will definitely need to eat salads for the next week to make up for it!

My husband and I have been here a couple of times and the burgers were juicy and we left satisfied. The atmosphere is fun and the music is great. The only thing that bothers me is the up charge for everything. I asked for mayo added to my burger... $0.50 for a swipe of mayo on a bun. I asked for ranch to go with my cheese curds with the burger, another $0.50. $1.00 extra isn't that big a deal but just pretty annoying as the burgers a decently priced to begin with.... Nonetheless we will be back, just more aware!

Me and my fiancé came to visit Appleton from San Diego and some family took us here and let me tell you, oh my god! The burgers were amazing! My only complaint was the waitress forgot my beer TWICE! Thankfully the food made up for the service.

The giant cheese curds are fantastic, as is the Cheese Curds Burger. They have a huge beer selection, so if that's your thing you have come to the right place. Their specialty drinks are typical sports pub; rail Long Islands, Bloody Marys and some margaritas. They also serve ice cream drinks like a Brandy Alexander, but those aren't my style so I can't say how they are. Lol. The staff is friendly and the prices reasonable. It is pretty loud in there, but again its a bar and grill, so hey! On winter days, the floor always feels sticky/salty, but the staff comes through and cleans it up.

Very good food! Great meat on the burgers, and the topping choices are awesome. Definitely recommend the cheese curds! The only thing I would change is the buns, maybe they could upgrade those. Possibly have a few more gluten free options.
(4)Jenny S.
Excellent cheese curds and burgers! So many choices for burgers....almost a little overwhelming.

I agree that parking is an issue, and I wish they had a better bourbon selection - no Maker's Mark, and no Knob Creek, even though their drink menu shows a bottle of it?? That said, my first time to Milwaukee Burger Company was great, and I can't wait to go back. Our waitress was very attentive and personable, the food was delicious, and arrived reasonably quickly, during dinner rush. Oh, and the cheese curds definitely live up to the hype!!

This is where the old Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant was, that has since moved to College Avenue. The place was spacious and a lot of high def wide screen televisions covered the walls. A true sports lover's cave however they were only tuned in either ESPN channels. A lot of beer choices. The cheese curd burger was good and reasonably priced, however not outstanding. You can create your own burger with various fixings and sauces. The beer cheese soup was average. A place you can hang out with friends.

While reviewing my dinner dining options in Greenville, the jalapeno peanut burger at the Milwaukee Burger company stood out while reviewing Yelp. After walking in and standing at the door for a couple of minutes without a greeting from a hostess, I decided to get a seat at the bar. The bartender asked for my name, and that was the last thing she remembered. I ordered an 8% ABV beer and the bartender asked if I wanted it in a 24 or 32 oz glass. Geez lady. I would like to walk, and not stumble out of here... I told her I would take the smallest glass they have. A few minutes later she came back with a snifter and asked if I wouldn't mind a smaller glass... uhh know your beers girl! When reviewing the menu online, it gave me the opportunity to sign up for the email club to get a free app. BONUS. I ordered the original fried cheese curds. They were the best I've had since coming to Greenville and my sample size is quite large lately. Then I ordered the well spoke of jalapeno peanut butter burger with the blue cheese potato salad. The bartender asked if I wanted lettuce, tomato, pickles. I said yes, but never received them. She also forgot my order, then had to re-ask my a couple of minutes later. The bartender also never asked how I wanted my burger cooked. Luckily, it came out cooked to perfection. The brown sugar bacon added a perfect sweetness to my burger. The blue cheese potato salad was a disaster. It was covered in large chunks of green onions and it was the greasiest potato salad I had ever experienced. Each bite was like a spoonful of gooey hot oil. The potato salad had a strange texture, and it did not look appetizing. Overall, I probably won't be back. Service was awful and I can get the burger and cheese curds at most other restaurants in Wisconsin.

Second visit not as good as the first. First visit: sat at bar (very busy Friday night). Beer cold and food served hot and quickly. Second visit: seated immediately in a booth (Saturday night). Menus and tables need a good cleaning. Beer cold. Food took 30 minutes to arrive. My burger was warm and onion rings were cold. Husband's food served hot. Server replaced rings with fresh order quickly after being notified. A few suggestions for management: Order quality control needs to improve Tables/menus need a good cleaning Host/hostess training should include proper work behavior. I don't need to hear your personal convo continue while I'm standing in front of you.

We stopped here solely for the Bloody Marys and were not disappointed. Although there were a few varieties to choose from, we knew we had to sample the 34-oz Big Mil Bloody that came with a bacon cheeseburger on top. Full review at outforbloodies.com .... we'll definitely be back!

Ugh omg the grease. You even slide around in it on the floor as you walk in. Make sure you take an extra Lipitor before bed.
(2)Shawn V.
Only came in because I was told by other people the place has good food. What I experienced was not anywhere near good. The soup I got was cold... And was given the chance to get a New cup (probably the same cold soup) or fries. So I got fries... What she came out with was so greasy and just a big basket of blah... I didn't know if it was a joke or if the server was truly sorry of the cold soup... Next to come was are burgers... Both had random items on it and nothing like what was listed on the menu. Also more grease and just unappetizing. I'm not the type to eat fast food everyday and this was just way to much for my body. I wouldn't come back even if the food was free.

Very good and unique burgers. If you are looking for a tv to watch the game, they have you covered.
(4)Tracy R.
Great cheese curds. Burger was just ok and kinda flavorless. Staff was not prepared for the crowd. Need a better hostess and better service.
(2)Gretchen K.
Amazing beer selection. So many choices on tap-- it is hard to choose. They are known for their huge cheese curds-- a must, especially if it is your first visit. I love the large selections of ingredients on their build-your-own menu, and the speciality burgers are pretty amazing. Peanut butter and jalapeños? Cheese curds? Awesome. During my last visit I even tried a chicken sandwich (not having high expectations, given their obvious burger focus). I was happy to find that it was well seasoned and quite good. A great place to watch a game, enjoy happy hour, or have dinner with the family. (My kids have been begging me to go back for some more of those cheese curds!)

Based on rave reviews from family members, my wife and I stopped here on Thursday night. Parking could very easily have been a problem, as we found only one spot available in the parking lot. We were seated at the only available table, right by the entrance, and people waiting for tables quickly surrounded us. There was a very nice selection of beer, about 40 on tap, and so I ordered a beer and an appetizer. It took some time for my beer to arrive, and unfortunately slow service continued throughout the meal. Our appetizer, poutine, was very good, but we were only provided with one set of silverware, and we did not receive any when we asked for another set. The burger I ordered, a Juicy Milly, was fairly average. The meat had a decent flavor, and the toppings were fresh, but it was not the amazing burger I had been expecting. The fries were fairly average, and a bit soggy. However, my wife was very happy with her burger, so perhaps the one I ordered was not one of their best. The cheese curds, as many have said, were amazing, and I would definitely come back just for some appetizers and a beer. However, I will plan to give their burgers another try.

I ordered the peanut butter jalapeño burger and it was excellent! Never expected I would enjoy the combination but the peanut butter balanced the jalapeño out pretty well. The jalapeños are pretty spicy so if you don't like spicy foods stay away from this choice. The brown sugar bacon on the burger was also a nice addition. I got the side of cheesy hash browns and while the server said she wasn't impressed I thought they were pretty phenomenal. We also ordered the cheese curds and fried pickles. The cheese curds were massive and delicious! The fried pickles could of used thicker slices of pickle but were enjoyable. They have a large selection of different burgers and I wish I could have tried some more of the interesting combinations. All in all very good burgers and you should certainly give this place a go around!

It was our first experience here. Walking in we noticed a great pub atmosphere with many beers to choose from. As extensive as the beer list was the burger menu was equally impressive. Everyone in our party ordered a different burger and all were sensational! Would go back in a heartbeat...

First of all reservations do not mean you will have a table reserved. We had a party of 6 and made reservations on a Saturday for dinner at 5:00 and had to wait until a little after 5:30 to get a seat. Then the wait for the food did did not measure up to the quality or expectation. We waited almost 1 hour after ordering our food to get our burgers. The weak and floppy buns do not hold up to the amount of toppings on the burger. The under-cooked "fresh cut fries" have absolutely no salt of flavor other than that of raw potato. When we complained to the manager that we had been waiting over an hour to get our food she just said, " We are working on it" no offer of any compensation. The only thing this place has going for it is their "Classic Cheese Curds." These consist of giant 1.5 inch squares of cheese that are battered and deep fried. Delicious and Greasy. I would only recommend this place if you were going with a friend for beer and cheese curds but nothing more. If you want a tasty burger there are much better places in Appleton that it would be worth the wait for your food.

Not gunna lie...was hoping for a really good burger experience but honestly kind of a let down...the fries r good but u can get the same fries at 5 guys...or u can make them at home using fresh cut potatoes and peanut oil...my biggest complaint was this...they didnt ask me how i wanted my burger cooked and for a burger restaurant...its kinda a big deal...and they counted on toppings rather than the quality of their beef...if u enjoy paying 14 bucks for a burger and fries that are 6 outta 10 go for it...personally bluemoon burger in madison wi is waaaay better and so is in and out in los angeles...
(3)Stephanie K.
I've been here twice now and both times were delicious. I like the fair cheese curds better than classic. The classic are just too much cheese at once. All the burgers have been great. It is a little pricey, but tasty.

My husband and I tried this place several months ago and were instantly hooked...we went at least once per week for quite a while. The last two visits however, have been a different story. Today, we visited after an unpleasant last experience, figuring we'd give it another try. We ordered drinks, me a root beer and my husband a regular margarita on the rocks. He noticed our drinks on the bar on his way back from the bathroom and saw the bartender messing with the margarita straw, but figured she was just stirring. He took one drink and as he was sliding the drink to the side, pulled a 12'' hair from the drink. Mind you, our server was a short haired male, my hair is short and hubby's head is shaved. After pulling the hair, he is pretty sure the bartender thought she saw something and was digging around for it but came up empty handed and served the drink anyway. He asked for a soda instead after finding the nasty hair. The manager 'graciously' took the margarita off the bill but offered no other compensation for the nasty, even charging for the replacement soda! I understand that mistakes sometimes happen, however this is after our last bad experience and just had gotten to be a bit much. At the end of the meal, the waiter proceeded to try to push us into paying for a dessert! Our last venture, I ordered a mushroom burger with onions, lettuce, pickles and burger co sauce. It arrived with no onions and some mystery sauce. Not what I ordered, but edible, of course. My husband always has the classic build your own burger with the same toppings, none of which include lettuce, which makes him violently ill from a single shred. His arrived with onions, which he does not eat and full of lettuce, which based on the above info, you should be able to guess that he did also not order. We called the waitress to have the burger sent back. She said they'd make him a new sandwich. She came back in less than two minutes with another burger stating that they had made him a new burger...which seemed funny because it took a half our to get the first round. He opened the bun and discovered that they simply scraped most of the lettuce off...most, not all, even after we told the waitress of his allergy. We called her back again to refuse the burger and just asked them to remove it from the table. She again offered to have them make another...the meal had pretty much been ruined by this point, for both of us. If you've had this happen, you know it's hard to enjoy your meal when you're sitting with your spouse, yet eating alone. The manager came over, apologized & offered to make another burger. He said no...& then she offered him a salad...now, if you're paying attention, you'll realize this is ridiculous?! Again, she 'graciously' took the burger off the bill but offered no other compensation. I call BS in both instances. We came in for a good meal, which was ruined by staff on each of our two last visits and still had a bill to pay. Last year, on our first visit to Red Lobster, the manager comped our entire meal before we even knew there was a problem. Seems like this place needs to get their stuff together...I doubt we'll be back!

Very good selection of beers and food. I had the death by bacon burger ( I think that's what it is called) which was good. But my god. The cheese curds were nuts. Would visit again and try something else.
(4)Jeff J.
Very fun place! Came in from out of town to have a drink and Brittney (bartender) was extremely nice and helpful! Will become a frequent stop on business travels.
(4)Su A.
Amazing. Super friendly staff, great specials, casual fun atmosphere. Cheese curds are HUGE and delicious. Great tap beer selection.
(5)Rick R.
Food and selection of beers is great. This place needs a bigger space and more parking though. There is not a place to stand while waiting for a table nor any place to park. Service has been pretty good.
(4)Dody M.
This place is located in the old Buffalo Wild Wings building. We went here for lunch. The atmosphere was ok. They had a nice size bar with a good variety of beer, plenty of screens for watching T.V. could probably use more seating as there was a line building and no place to seat people. I ordered a burger which in my opinion was just o.k. It was tasty but too much bar-b-q sauce that it made the bun soggy. I had a cup of chili before hand that again was just o.k. The wait service was prompt and friendly and our food came out within a reasonable amount of time. All in all it's just an average place if you want a burger and beer.
(3)Erica H.
I cannot comment on the food as my fiancée and I only stopped in for drinks. The staff was very friendly and the overall atmosphere was great. Their Bloody Mary selections was pretty impressive as well.
(4)Michael M.
Stopped in for lunch on Monday, their first day open. Attentive bartender, had a choice of 40 different beers on tap from all over the country, with a lot of Wisconsin varieties. Wanted to try something new to eat, Ronnie talked me into a burger stuffed with peanut butter and jalapenos and topped with brown sugared bacon. Was worried the PB would overpower the burger, but was pleasantly surprised I got the whole salty sweet balance I was hoping for. The jalapenos could have used a little more heat. Maybe next time I'll get extra on top. Decided on a cup of chili, which was just good, not great. You can get one of their 15 or so specialty burgers, or you can create your own from their half page full of ingredients. A ton of options for sides too. Will be back to try more!
