Awesome experience. Went and had a great meal with my son. After meal I realized that I had left my wallet at home. Offered to leave my phone as collateral while I went home (4 miles away). Manager was called. Tim came to our table and said it was not a problem and that it had happened to him before after a busy day. It seemed he was okay with me leaving no collateral and would be okay with me going home and then coming back with my credit card. I was wrong. Tim said "No need" and comped our meals!!! WOW! Aside from all if the above, the food was also great as was the service. Very clean restaurant.

Of the Appleton chain restaurants, Chilis is the best in class. With so many good non-chain choices around here, I realize its kind of like winning a beauty contest between Joan Rivers and Phyllis Diller. But heck, Chilis, take what you can get, right? Personally, I like their burgers and chicken wraps. The best part of Chilis is the fries- you just can't make them like that at home. Kids menu is big and has lots of good choices- who doesn't love mini corn dogs? Communists, that's who! Service is reliably good, and even though they don't have it on tap, they'll make me a Cherry Coke with regular Coke and grenadine- nice!

I am not a fan of chain restaurants and inevitably avoid them choosing to support local businesses (If your eatery uses fresh, high quality, local ingredients traditionally and in unique ways we will promote you!) This restaurant was beyond dirty/grimy. The brightly colored table tiles reflected many spots of ketchup or various sauces that had dried into a gummy paste. There were chunks of food that would take a good scraping to come up. A very visible film dulled everything and was evident to my eyes, even without my much needed glasses. The small touch screen computer on the table reminded my of my touch phone after a 3 year old had played on it for an hour. Sticky, germy, crunchy, gross! I imagined the sticky menus were no less filthy than that touch screen. Our seats showed dirt and grime spots on them and my hand stuck to it when I pushed down on the cushion. Every thing I have mentioned is easily washed. All staff was friendly and accommodating but clearly not trained in cleanliness.

Our last visit could not have been a bigger disappointment. We arrived and greeted warmly at the door little did we know that was going to be the highlight of the evening. Ordered chips and salsa well the chips came by themselves no salsa. Told the waitress about the missing salsa she came back 5 min later with it finally. I ordered the combo ribs and steak it came looked good and I asked my waitress for an extra side of BBQ sauce again she said sure. Well I ate my steak, potatoes, broccoli and half my ribs (leaving the ribs for last waiting for sauce) before she returned with the side of sauce. Also the ribs were overdone and had a texture of jerky rather than ribs. All the waitress could say was sorry about that do you want more soda? At chilis I am not expecting great food just good so our return to this place will be unlikely.

Tried some Classic Nachos and the Texas Cheese Fries with Chili. All with extra jalapenos. Tasted great going down, but whew, I paid for it the next day. I would recommend sticking with the standard quantity of jalapenos served.

When we didn't have power last week due to the storms - we stopped here for dinner. I got a burger with jalapenos and guacamole... and it was so bland. The bun was straight out of a bag, nothing done to it. The burger was overcooked and barely warm. We split a cheesecake for dessert - which was also bland. The women's bathroom was very messy, toilet paper all over the floor and an overclogged toilet. With so many great local restaurants, and even 5 guys making much better burgers - we have no reason to return.

Stopped in for lunch. Waited 10 minutes for someone to seat us. Awful service from disinterested staff. My wife's fajitas arrived with the container for tortillas filled with no fajitas. No sign of a waitress for at least 15 minutes, she ate the rest of the meal before it got cold. My boneless wings were dry and barely warm. Stay clear of this dive, there are better places to spend your money on Appleton.

It's your standard Chili's. If you have been to one anywhere in America you know what to expect. The staff is consistently good, and the chips and salsa are the best around. With the El Presidente margarita, Chili's is the only local restaurant that comes close to making better margaritas than I can make my self.

While we generally aren't fans of chain restaurants, we do enjoy taking the kids to Chili's. The food is consistently good, the service is typically above par, and they really do have the best chips and salsa around!

AWFUL!!!!! The ribs are so dry, the mashed potatoes are even dryer!! The onion strings were nothing more than eating deep fried breading. It was a HUGE waste of money. With all the other great restaurants in the area, skip this one!!!
