Looks not super, but taste is amazing! Specially with that sauce that they have!

Quality food. Clean. Owner friendly.

If I was solely rating based on quality of food I rate 4 stars. Food was delicious. The reason why I rate Moeida 5 stars is because the owners were so incredibly nice. My friend and I had dinner here and my friend is just learning about ethnic foods. The owner was so patient and kind and took the time to explain the difference between the kalbi and the bulgogi. I ordered the ribs and he took the time to be transparent and advised me the ribs take a little longer to cook and asked if we were on a time crunch or if that would be ok. My friend's steak yakisoba was one of my favorite yakisoba I have tasted in quite a while. My bibimbap was yummy with lots of fresh veggies. The restaurant itself is really clean, which in my personal experience has always been the case with Korean owned restaurants. I will be supporting this couple and their restaurant from now on and plan to continue eating here anytime I find myself in Woodinville.

Our first visit here today - we had an awesome experience! Food was very delicious to our taste. There are other entrees that ill be trying out on my next visit. One thing i noticed was that this place seems to have strong focus on customer care. The couple that owns this place is very friendly and pleasant. I am personally a strong supporter of small businesses. My husband and I will most definitely be back for more!
(5)Glenda J.
My first time here and the owner went to great lengths to find out what I wanted by explaining his menu items. What I ended up with was chicken teriyaki yakisoba with vegetables. Apparently they throw in rice too. The chicken was charbroiled and flavorful. But then which teriyaki sauce isn't. I requested medium spicy and this was done perfectly. Vegetables were sliced thinly: snap peas, carrots, broccoli, zucchini. I am a little put off by the 30c extra for spicy. I can understand the extra charge for brown rice but what does it take for a few squirts of hot sauce? Ironically you can help yourself to packets of soy sauce and sweet and sour sauce. So I might come back for something else because the place is clean and the owner cares.

The food was amazing!!! Service was wonderful. They even have pictures they can show you of menu items if your not sure. I will return again.
(5)Jeff M.
great owners, fantastic food. The low carb plate has become this diner's favorite. They will even remove the carrots if you're not able to have them.
(5)Daniel J.
As other reviewers noted, the place is clean, the owner is very nice and helpful, and the food was very fresh. It's difficult to pigeonhole this place into one type of ethnicity, as they serve many different cuisines. In reality, they serve their "take" on the specific dishes, which in some respects make it a unique restaurant. I wanted to order Bibimbap because I've eaten it at many other restaurants. The owner pulled out a large photo to show me their version of the dish which seemed quite different from what I've had elsewhere. As a result, I instead opted for the beef bulgogi, not because I didn't like what was in the photo, but rather because I was expecting a specific flavor profile, and his description made it clear that my expectations would not be met. The food was flavorful and the serving size was decent. I would come back again, however, my initial impression about pricing was incorrect. It is difficult for two people to eat for under $20 so my value would be $$.
(3)Geoff F.
Super, super good. You can tell right away talking to the owners how much care and attention they put into the food and it definitely shows. Delicious, healthy and distinct. Don't be put of by the simple ambiance! It's going to be a favorite of ours, I can tell.
(5)Erinn O.
This place is soooo yummy. It's not a fancy place, it's counter service. It's clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, there are vegetarian/vegan options, and best of all the food is SO delicious. Both my roommate and I ordered- he eats meat but I'm a vegetarian- and are so happy with our meals. The owner also made sure to tell me that the tofu is non-gmo and the meat is antibiotic and hormone free. Woot woot.
(5)randi i.
Yummy healthy asian fusion food. A little on the pricey side but my husband and I enjoy the steak and my daughter likes the noodles with tofu. I also tried the sweet sour chicken which was also tasty.
(4)Ariel Z.
The space is small, but everything is clean and you're greeted as you walk in the door. I wasn't sure what I wanted, so the owner talked me through some of the options (I'm familiar with Asian food, but I was undecided that day). I ended up with a fresher version of the traditional bibimbap. He made sure to tell me that it didn't have cooked vegetables and so it was a little different from the usual thing, which was fine with me. I liked the emphasis on fresh ingredients and healthier options (I got brown rice), even though they do charge extra for things like sauce, which I feel should be standard for a Korean place. Still, it's worth it for decent Korean/Asian food in the mall.
(4)Yolanda C.
I give this place 5 stars because the owners are so incredibly nice, serving quality food, and keeping the restaurant super clean as well. I like this place for a quick healthy bite to eat, we always leave happy.
(5)Lindsey D.
One of our favorite restaurants in woodinville. The bi bim bap is so good, as is the chicken teriyaki and Yakisoba. The grilled vegetables they come with the teriyaki are delicious and a nice change from the standard salad. The place is always super clean and the owners are very friendly. Last time we were there they gave us 2 orders of Gyoza on the house. The portions are generous. It is a little pricier than most but worth it. They can be slow when busy since there are usually only two of them working, but again worth it. I'll definitely be back. Love this place!
(5)Krissy J.
TONS of flavor! Great place to eat! We went in thinking it was going to be "another" teriyaki place, but it was fresh with great portions.
(5)Elizabeth M.
This is a simple restaurant with reasonable prices and portion sizes. I like the yakisoba noodles. They're a good amount of chewy with a nice selection of vegetables. My husband likes the bi bim bop. The service is nice and fast.
(5)Iris G.
Very fresh, higher end fast food. A little pricey though, so I'm not sure I'd go back.
(4)Dale D.
These two, are the sweetest people who have ever existed, they remember my name and order every time, which has been a while(more than a year) and they even still remember me. Amazing customer service and Korean food that actually sheds somr light on flavors ans textures from their food, so glad its not fried chinese food. Hands down, the best service with a smile that money can buy.
(5)T T.
A clean teriyaki plate with what you'd expect. Nothing out of this world but quite solid.
(4)Miranda C.
Where to start?? This place - and the owners - are just incredible. Always, always friendly. My fiance and I have been coming here for years, sometimes multiple times a week when we can. They are very affordable, and their food is healthy. I don't go out too often and I can be pretty picky due to some food-related anxieties, but there's nothing I don't like on this menu, seriously. The owners are very accommodating too; I have an egg allergy and it's nice to still be able to enjoy my favorite dishes from them sans egg. They're healthy and they use fresh food, homemade sauces, wild-caught salmon, and non-GMO tofu. They don't bread or fry any of the typically breaded-and-fried dishes, and I think that's wonderful (it certainly tastes better, too). My favorite is everything (especially their Pad Thai - they use raw veggies and it's a refreshing take). They've even got my fiance to eat veggies, which is a near impossible task. We will continue to give them our service enthusiastically and gladly!
(5)Liz O.
I opened my Moeida To-Go container, weighing in at about 2 lbs, and thought "well, I'll be able to eat maybe a third of this". I'm almost done. I had to stop devouring it to take a breath and write this review before I forgot. Why it's taken me almost two years to try this place is beyond me. I can't even call the $10.50 cost "pricey" because the quality of the food is just that superb. The Yakisoba (chicken breast) is phenomenal. I don't even feel too unhealthy eating the noodles and rice because it is stuffed with fresh vegetables. Only suggestion I have is to not inhale it like I did because now that I'm almost finished, I'm not feeling too hot. Will definitely be back! It's a tiny spot that's great for quick eats or to-go orders. Plus the man who presumingly is the owner is friendly as ever.
(5)Matt S.
This is the best teriyaki in the area hands down! All of the vegetables are fresh and not over-cooked. The sauce is perfectly balanced and there is not a lot of oil or any fish sauce like so many other poor quality teriyaki places. They make excellent tofu dishes and use non GMO tofu. The owners are some of the nicest folks you will ever meet.
(5)William B.
Super clean, bright establishment - the sign on the door says 'asian bistro'. I announced this was my first time here to the helpful owner-operator, he cheerfully guided me to the most popular dishes and large colorful photos on the wall, I went with the steak yakisoba with all the vegetables and '5 star'. $11 with a cup of water. I noticed right away 'this steak tastes different' in a very good way. The chef used pepper flakes (the right choice) to spice this up. Later, the proprietor asked me how my meal was, and he explained that this beef was imported, very high quality, very tender (oh yes it was!), and marinated in their sauce. The yakisoba noodles were cooked just right, as were the veggies. Dine in service was on plastic plates (so a little ding on the 'green' rating here). Prices, a little higher than most, but as in the case with the steak, the higher quality ingredients offset that, and I noticed the difference in taste. So with a drink and tip you're in for $11 or more here, so two $$ should be the price rating, Yelp is showing one $. Quick, cheerful service, Happy to have a new asian stop in Woodinville. If return visits are as good as this I might have to up to 5-star here.
(4)Mak I.
Great casual asian (Bibimbap, teriyaki, yakisoba) food, really nice proprieters. Unfortunately, they raised their prices and I just can't bring myself to pay that much when great comparable food is right down the road for several dollars less per entree (King's Teriyaki).
(3)Christopher B.
For quick and easy asian fusion food, Moeida is at the top of the stack. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I've now had many items on their menu, and they have all been excellent. My 9y son requested to have dinner there for his birthday. I will say that they have their own take on "traditional" dishes; typically a healthier version.
(5)Maria M.
Favorite place to eat in Woodinville! The owners are so very friendly and the food is always consistently delicious! I always get the steak yakisoba with brown rice & my husband gets the steak plate, we share a side of pot stickers/gyoza. Every time we go back we tell each other that we'd try something different, but think about it again, & get the same thing every time lol. The owners laugh...suggesting that we try another dish they offer, but it's just so good we never try anything else. We love how fresh the food is & enjoy the little spice you can add. You can choose from 0-5 stars on spicy. Two is perfect for me but my husband enjoys a little more and goes for a three. Their portions are good as well as the prices. The seating area is small, but we've never had an issue. They are opened all the time but close for major holidays & I believe the first Monday of the month, which is think is quite deserving! We can't wait to return again! :)
(5)Preston P.
The couple that runs this place are amazing. The chef will come out and say hi. the food is excellent and is a much healthier versions of the plate you are used to. I've had the chicken breast & steak yakisoba and also enjoyed the. bibim bap. The food is terrific and it's a place you want to support. Great food, great people.
(5)Erin H.
I love this place!! I use to work very close to this place and would come in probably 3 times a week! I have to say it's the best teriyaki! They care about what they put in their food! Everything is fresh and made with care! No msg and no gmo!! Which is impossible to find anywhere else! Nice healthy options, and the owners are the sweetest people! I do agree it's a bit pricey but I think it's worth it!
(5)Roisin B.
First visit here today, but it won't be my last. The staff were very helpful explaining the options to us as first-timers, taking pains to make sure we understood what we were ordering. I ordered the bibimbap and they asked if I had had bibimbap before, the traditional way and explained how theirs was different - its not served in a stone bowl and instead of cooked veggies the veggies are raw. The egg is pre-cooked and cut into strips. I was disappointed that my craving for bibimbap might not be satisfied, but wanted to try it anyway. No need for that disappointment - tasty, delicious and fresh. I feel good after eating it! The teriyaki chicken was the best I've had in Woodinville. The wait for our to-go order was short and worth every second. Already trying to figure out when I can go back.
(5)Kevin C.
Best teryiaki I have ever had. Fresh veggies and the beef is just perfect. In fact it's like some kind of super beef. It melts in your mouth and has been marinated all the way through. Just the best
(5)Art B.
This place is awesome! So much customisation is really nice, and so is the owner. Got the low carb dish and its really good. A must try!
(5)Daniel T.
Amazed! How could I been missing this place for so long. Super tasty, super healthy Asian fusion. Now this is in the Woodinville theater strip mall, so don't let the fusion part make you think expensive or "fancy". It is a clean, small to mid sized Teriyaki type experience. 6 tables for 2 plus bar space for 10ish. I had the Moeida special (steak, chicken and chicken breast) 5 stars with all vegetables. It was not very hot and It was $13+ but on a huge plate with a ton of veggies. All the meats were moist and tasty. Meat didn't beat out my fav Teriyaki places but the veggies made me feel a lot healthier. Lots of great menu choices. I will return for sure.
(5)Rebecca F.
Yuuuuup, I'm a fan! I follow LOTS of food pages and and a few local interest pages on social media and one mentioned a Korean place in Redmond to check out. I typed it up in Yelp so I could bookmark it and give it a try and this spot popped up for me too. The reviews looked promising, so I figured it was worth a try...and it was worth it! I had the Kalbi special plate with fried rice. The beef was well seasoned and definitely tasty. The fried rice was kind of a treat too -- there was zucchini, carrot, onion all thinly sliced and it wasn't greasy or anything either. It was flavorful without being salty or overpowering; imo, worth the extra $1.50 for the substitution! My husband had the bi bim bap and he was expecting a nice fried egg that would have a yolk oozing out over the dish, but the egg was sliced up and not that style so he was disappointed. He was a big fan of my dish though and enjoyed what I couldn't finish! Yes, the parking lot is a little crazy, but at least it's a big lot! The restaurant itself is very casual and the employees are friendly and helpful. I'm definitely interested in trying some of the other dishes... the yakisoba was tempting, but I couldn't resist the kalbi beef this time around! I hope to go back soon!!
(4)Chea Y.
Food was OK, but could be better. I'm a flavor and texture person, plus I'm Asian and it just wasn't great. Tasted like hard pre-made chicken, and steak was little chewy. Like the whole things been sitting there for awhile and they just heated it up and poured some teriyaki sauce on it. Got the chicken steak combo. Wife and kids almost got the same thing. They didn't really like it ether. Sort of a waste of 45 bucks for 3 people. I wouldn't go there again, unless I'm starving and no where to eat. Not sure why it got such high reviews. Liars! Haha
(2)Steven S.
i've had bim bin bap one other time elsewhere and didn't like it. but it was very good here i think i will try it else where. this is my second time going to Moeida. the first time i had the Tso chicken, not what i had expected, but again its not a Chinese place either, its a Korean place, so order the BBQ or the other Korean dishes. Summery: the food was good, but the prices are high for lunch. if you want really authentic Korean go up to lynnwood/alderwood (hwy 99 corridor)
(4)ania m.
Extremely slow service. I have waited for a TAKE OUT for 30 minutes in the place. Granted, I walked in and asked for take out at 12:00PM, however it was only appetizer. Person sitting next to me got his in to-go box when asked for here and I got mine for here when asked for to-go. I won't be back here again. Food was average, and slow service don't make for a good lunch option once you have limited time.
(2)Zach W.
Got lucky choosing this place while near Woodinville. Great food and prices. Definitely stands out next to a lot of other teriyaki places in the area. I don't leave reviews very often but I was impressed with this place as somewhere to grab a great tasting, healthy meal in a casual setting.
(5)Michelle R.
This place is so good! It's hard finding places for lunch that have truly healthy options. I got the low carb plate and it did not disappoint. Fresh veggies, high quality chicken, delicious homemade sauce. I got 3 stars and was surprised at how spicy it was. The owners are super nice and the restaurant is very clean. Will be going there often.
(5)Tab P.
Not a fan. I grabbed the Phad Thai and it was the single worse PT I've ever had. And I've had a lot of it over the last 25 years. A LOT. I smelled it and my first thought was it smelled exactly like the package stuff I bought one time at Safeway. Ironically it tasted that way. It made for a very sad PT lover. Through the evil stare of my 15 year old daughter I took a bite of her fried rice. Amazing, probably the best I've ever had. But who makes a meal out of fried rice? Not this guy...but his daughter does. The second star is for that one glorious bite of fried rice.
(2)Grisel G.
Oh wow! I was blown away by the charismatic owners. They greeted me and give me a quick walk through of the menu and pint pointed all the healthy options to choose from. Yelp directions guided me about 2 minutes away across the street from the real address. I called the place and the owner explained that they where right next to Cold Stone in the movie theater strip mall. Keep in mind that this place signatures is to keep it fresh and healthy. So you will not find a deep fried dripping grease crispy dish. Also no MSG that to me is a plus! Option for brown rice with extra charge Thanks guys, keep up the good job :)
(4)Jenny N.
I recommend this restaurant to all of my friends when they crave teriyaki. This place has absolutely amazing teriyaki and the yakisoba never fails to satisfy me. I typically order the same things -- chicken yakisoba or vegetable yakisoba -- and these things come with the noodles, a variety of well-prepared vegetables (this goes for all of the yakisoba offerings, I think... you just get significantly more veggies if you order the vegetable yakisoba) and a nice pile of rice, too. My mouth is watering right now. I work in the area. The couple is absolutely lovely. Two very sweet individuals! They prepare the food right after you order it, which sometimes takes five minutes, not that I mind. You know the food was made fresh! I'm surprised this place isn't full all the time. Maybe I just come at the awkward hours.
(5)Ian A.
This place is really good Asian food. Although I do not know them personally, I do like the family that own it and they have good service and smile when you interact. One thing I have noticed is that the food comes out really hot I have actually burned myself twice because I thought I was getting fast food to go and chomped down right away. You are going to want to let your food cool down before you try to ingest it. I really enjoy the roll as a quick snack and it is definitely better than any of the other restaurants in that shopping area. I would like to see MOEIDA get a sustainable type of packaging instead of the usual Styrofoam containers. I cannot really hold this against them because it works for them and has shown to be successful in other restaurants for years. The problem is that it is not very environmentally friendly.
(4)Cathy C.
Moeida is a great family owned shop in Woodinville. When we first walked in, the owner of the shop was so friendly and walked us through the menu and even brought out more pictures from behind the counter of their food. He clearly is really proud of the food they serve and it shows. I tried the General Tso's chicken based on a tip from a friend and it did not disappoint. I loved it! I get the same thing every time I got there now! I also love that they give you options to make the food a bit healthier. I always order it with brown rice and chicken breast. They give plenty of food and it always tastes great! I should mention though that it does cost a bit extra for the healthy options though. Overall though, I highly recommend this place!
(4)Rob C.
Moeida provides a mix of menu items from a few different cuisines. They take a unique approach to these dishes by grilling or pan frying instead of deep frying. The first time I tried their General Tso Chicken I was pleasantly surprised and have been coming back ever since. The grilled vegetables are an absolute must!
(4)Marc L.
Great people. Great service. Great casual - quick dining. Fresh ingredients. Non-gmo, no hormones. Good portions. Highly recommended.
(5)Janna C.
GREAT FOOD!! So yummy...what I love about this place: 1. Super friendly and caring owners & staff 2. Yummy & Healthy: hard combination to find, but this place is fantastic. ---They don't deep fry, always grill ---There's no fat on their meat, so it's MUCH healthier and tastes better ---They use the freshest veggies lightly sauteed =] ---Perfected handmade sauces with no MSG or trans fats (I heard that it's made 2x/week!) ---only some of the things I love about this place! I tried the Spicy Steak Yakisoba (just the right amount of spice, flavor-packed steak, lightly grilled yakisoba and veggies) and the Moeida Chicken Plate (fresh and served with brown rice!!). Even if you're not in the neighborhood, it's worth the drive to get delicious and healthy food...trust me, your body will thank you =]
(5)Stephanie C.
I went here with two friends after many minutes trying to figure out what we wanted to eat. We stumbled upon Moeida and were pleasantly surprised. We expected more of a sit-down restaurant... but that wasn't at all what we wanted. The interior is very cute and modern looking, it's fast food style. But the food quality is no where near that. They use fresh ingredients and seem to really enjoy what they serve to people. The man we spoke to chatted for awhile with us and answer all our questions, offered advice and was very friendly. I didn't feel rushed at all. We ordered the pan-fried sweet & sour chicken, pan-fried general tso's and a teriyaki steak plate. They were all delicious and I'm glad he recommended the pan-fried because it's much healthier then the deep-fried alternative. All our tummies left satisfied. The seating area is on the cramped side if its busy, but they try hard to accommodate. The prices are slightly on the higher side for what it is and portion size. I remember the stir-fry vegetables being awesomeeeee! If you're in the area I really suggest this place. You don't leave feeling all greased up.
(4)Chris K.
Try the bi bim bap, it's awesome!!! They also make a healthier version of General Tso's chicken which is very good as well. The owner is the nicest guy and should teach a class on how to provide excellent customer service. You could tell that he was genuinely interested in making sure that we were enjoying our food. Normally, I wouldn't give a place like this 5 stars but the food and service were so good, it seemed silly to dock them a whole star just because the decor is not that exciting. It's definitely not a fancy, anniversary dinner kind of place but it's certainly worth a quick bite on a weeknight when you don't feel like cooking or lunch if you work nearby. I will definitely be back to try more of their delicious fare!
(5)Minh H.
Quick bite for Korean/teriyaki style. I like that it is not a traditional teriyaki small restaurant. It is Nicely decorated and clean. The food is great, affordable, and very fresh. Love their raw bi bim bap! They add a touch of their own to their dishes. I can not taste MSG in their food, and the owner did tell me that they make their own sauce from the scratch with no MSG. No store bought sauce here!! Oh how I wish they can add soft- tofu soup to their menu. We ended up ordering 5 servings totally for the 2 of us with 3 to bring home for dinner because we really liked what we had. All in all, very satisfied with the food and the service! ^_^
(5)Robin A.
After reading the reviews (tonight/Friday) regarding this as being a good place to eat and having healthy food, we decided to order 4 plates with recommendations from the man working here. Each dish was overly cooked and poorly executed. The pad Thai was what you would expect of a Safeway dish. The rice was burned and each meat and chicken was tough from being overly cooked. The staff was very nice, but this restaurant needs a lot of improvement. I would not recommend this place, until they hire someone who can produce good food. Hands down one of the worst meals in the past year.
(1)Mydao H.
Ventured out to Woodinville for some shopping. Found this spot on Yelp and thought it looked good so decided to eat here with the man. So glad we did. I got the Bi Bim Bap. All the ingredients were really fresh and tasty. The place is bright and small. Very clean. The owners are super friendly and nice warm people. I wish this place was closer to home. Man ordered the special and it was a large portion. He only ate half of it. We could have shared it. :) Yum.
(4)Jackie K.
I can't believe how long it's taking to get my food. I ordered chicken and vegetables and it's been 25 minutes and still no food. I wonder how long these other people have been waiting. they were here when I got here and are just now getting their order. this is not even a sit down restaurant, you order at the counter and they bring your food out. ok, 28 minutes and my food is ready. wtf?
(1)Jeff L.
High end Teriyaki. That would be my best description for this place. That's not necessarily a bad thing but I probably was expecting better Korean food than Teriyaki food. We got a few items including the ribs, chicken and yakisoba. They all were slightly above par for a take out joint but again, nothing special. I will be going back since I live around the area but I don't go in expecting great Korean food like in the "Fed" or on Aurora 99. This place is located right next to the Cold Stone Creamery and fairly close to Target and Barnes and Noble.
(3)Shep G.
Great place, I love family owned/run places like this... I came with a vegetarian friend and they couldn't have been more helpful. The food was very good and fresh cooked. I will definitely be returning!
(4)El Q.
We've been coming here since this place was a Samurai Sams. Their food is tasty and generally pretty darned healthy. Not super fast to get it, but that's because they make your meal to order. You want fast? Go hit McD's. I love the pad thai and beef and broccoli (didn't used to be on the menu when they changed from Samurai Sam's but they've always been willing to make it, and now it's on the menu) and my husband loves the bibimbap and korean ribs. Extra star because the owner/operators are so so so friendly and nice.
(5)MaMa Spatula H.
So happy that I tried their bibimbap! It's made with raw veggies instead of cooked and at first I was skeptical but after the first few bites, I was hooked. Usually I go for dolsot bibimbap, but this raw version -which the owner explained is now the trend in Korea- has great texture and flavor! Also, I didn't feel so loaded down after I cleaned out my bowl. Owner is super nice and really eager to make sure you're enjoying their food! Four spatulas!!
(4)Just Call Me Brain V.
Other than the Kalbi and Korean ribs, one might think this place is just another glorified teriyaki place. But I am not sure what considers this place as being "Asian Fusion." Their food is freshly prepared with even better color-saturated veggies (as compare to most other teriyaki places.) It is a bit pricey if you want to eat. Otherwise, the prices are modest. In any case, their meats are very good and their service is excellent. I actually could eat here ALL the time. If ever you're in the neighborhood, check them out.
(4)Rachel K.
We LOVE this place. The owner/chef is very very friendly. He always comes over after we've started eating to check on how everything was, the level of spice, etc. He will always be happy to make a special order- don't like pineapple in your sweet and sour chicken? No problem- he'll give you more chicken instead of pineapple. Don't hesitate to ask!! The meat is lean and the veggies are FRESH. I recommend the low carb plate (chicken and veggies) or the beef yakisoba!!
(5)Camille S.
I have to agree with the other reviews, this place is a bit overpriced for what you get. While I don't mind having smaller portions (helps me to not over eat!), $11 for a Kalbi plate that was mostly salad is a bit of a rip off. As for the actual food, I found the Kalbi to be too salty and the Dok Bok Gi to be a sticky, sweet unedible mess. That was disappointing. The service was slow but friendly.
(2)Dahlia C.
Their Korean BBQ ribs are excellent, I wish they offered kimchi with it! Overall, great food and friendly service.
(4)Talulah M.
This place serves fantastic, fresh Asian foods in a very clean restaurant and their staff is the friendliest around. I work in the "International District " so I never want to eat Asian food on the weekends but a friend convinced me to try Moeida - WOW, great food! Not greasy or fatty or full of mystery meat like the food in the ID. Their teriyaki and bulgogi are excellent, their vegetables are generous, and their sauces taste homemade. Skip all the junk food being served by the chain restaurants in the area and try someplace local and delicious.

Went there again today. Still rating 4.5 - amazing service- the owner is such a great guy, great tasting food (its a bit pricey for me to go regularly). I agree with the comment below, it should be listed as $$. Hope-full wishing, but if they lowered the price a little or perhaps offered $8 combos or something they'd receive a hands down all five star.

Moeida is not a new place folks. It's the same owners who used to own a franchise Samurai Sam's Teriyaki place. They decided to make a go of it on their own and came up with their own menu and own sauces. Wow, what a change! There are so many choices and the food is great. Good for them for starting from scratch! Well..menu & food wise anyways. Everything is freshly made and healthy. If your looking for the oily breaded stuff doing go here. Their orange chicken and sweet & sour are all pan fried. I am looking forward to my next visit too.

Decent Asian grub that gets the job done. Normally, I'd be reluctant given that this place has japanese, Korean, thai all in the same place - but it was actually ok. The Kalbi ribs rocked, the bulgogi was authentic, the yakisoba was ok. The general tsao chicken n pad thai was not our fave... You don't have that greasy feeling that u normally would when u chow on asian grub- if I lived in this area -I would likely frequent this little bistro. Apparently, when u eat 10 entrees u get the 11th one free!

Looks like Moeida is a new Asian Bistro in Woodinville town center. I accidentally discovered them next to Cold Stone, and was pleasantly surprised. There is usual teriyaki menu, korean bulgoki menu, and some carb-free options. I ordered stir fried veggies with grilled chicken to go, and I am writing this review as I eat it. The veggies are very fresh, chicken juicy, and looks like this is a home-made sauce they are stir fried in. I am definitely a fan, and will come back for a takeout.

Delicious food for a little strip mall establishment. The owners were over-the-top wonderful with great suggestions and speedy service. The veggies were super fresh and the noodles cooked perfectly.
(4)Paul K.
This place is great. The prices are agreeable and the service there has always been top notch for me. It has a great range of Asian cuisine and it includes Korean BBQ. It's at a convenient location and I never had to wait long for my order. To simply put it: Moeida has all the things you love about take out minus all the things you hate about take out. Food is simple, quick, delicious but it doesn't sacrifice health. Food is pan grilled instead of deep fried and I seriously doubt that MSG is used. I always get a little sick from take out but never here! Whenever I'm in Woodinville and I want somewhere to eat this is my number one choice. :)

I love this place, food is awesome the owners are great. Little pricey but worth it, one of my favorite places to eat in woodinvile
(5)Ann A.
This place does Korean BBQ to perfection along with other Asian food such as Chinese, Thai and Japanese. Some of my family's favorites are their Phad Thai, Yakisoba, Kalbi and Bulgogi. You really can't go wrong with any of their selections. As the other posts mention, the owners are very friendly, and the ingredients are always very fresh every time we go. If you have never visited this place before, next to the Woodinville Theater and Cold Stone, you are missing out. TRULY THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!

Healthy and good tast!

Expensive but awesome takeout. The steak and chicken yakisoba is the best! Super yum!

MY SEARCH IS OVER! The owners are wonderful. They really do care for their customers. I know for a fact, they every morning before most of us wake up, the owner goes to the market to get the freshest bean sprouts. I was not usually a fan of this when I was a kid, but they way it is served with fresh carrots and purple cabbage along with my lime wedge for my Phad Thai! Mmmm....getting hungry just thinking about it. The sauce is handmade from scratch every 2-3 days. There are no preservatives. Bet you didn't know that! If you order the "white" meat on your chicken, you won't find a chunk of fat like some other teriyaki resturants. Han, one of the owners, is very meticulous on how he trims the fat off every meat that is served. This is truely close to home cooking as it gets for a mix of Asian bistros. The tofu is firm and not squishy and every meal is not drenched in heavy oil. I wish every resturant would care this much for the customers satifaction they way Moeida does. In fact, I am going to order from their right now. Thank you!

Never would have tried it (even though it's just a few blocks from home) had it not been for other Yelp reviews. Fresh veggies, tender meat (especially love the beef) & fantastic customer service.
(5)Ravenna S.
Can't say enough good things about this place. First, the food is delicious (and I agree - try the bibimbap!). The owners are very attentive, and want you to have a great meal. Their ingredients are fresh, and everything is prepared for you to order. A great restaurant for a quick bite.
(5)Josh G.
Amazing every time. Spendy but worth it.

If you're looking for good, fast, affordable asian food in Woodinville this place is absolutely the best. You can get your traditional asian quick meal like teriyaki and yakisoba type dishes, but they also have a lot of Korean food and Korean inspired dishes. The prices are good, the owners are the nicest people on the planet, and the food is always very very good.

Um, 1 word: yummy. Make that 2 words: super yummy. I just ate at Moeida for the first time today for lunch; I'm not sure how long they've been there, but am devastated that I haven't been eating there since opening day. That yummy. I had the Tofu Yakisoba plate. The veggies were crisp and fresh, the tofu perfectly browned, and the noodles wonderfully firm (I hate overcooked noodles). It was all in a savory sauce that tasted indulgent but still light enough that I could eat the whole thing without feeling like I'd dropped a rock in my tummy. I had the regular size and it was more than enough food for lunch. There is large size though for bigger eaters. It's not the cheapest lunch option ($10) but there are less expensive dishes and it was well worth it. Overall, great food and a neat, fun atmosphere with friendly staff. I'll definitely be going back.

Stumbled along this place when in Woodinville. The owners are uber-friendly, and are very glad to see you. The food is fresh, not overly greasly, and doesn't upset your stomach a 1/2 hr. later (like many Asian food mom/pop places can)... plus, it's quite tasty! Parking is easy and plentiful, and every 9th or 10th meal is free (they even keep it on file so you don't have to worry about it).
(4)Shilo J.
Personable service. Clean restaurant. Quote by Dhammapada near the beverage fountain. Good quantity of food for the money. Would definitely go back for lunch again.
(4)Anuj B.
Would not patronize this restaurant again. The owners are friendly, but the food is not great, and it's expensive with small portions. I wasn't even full when I left. King's Tery just down the street is much higher quality, just a little slow with service sometimes.

I ended up here randomly on lunch and had no idea what to order, so I asked what was popular. She said the yakisoba, and I'm not a fan usually, so I went with chicken teriyaki (large - 7.49 vs 6.49) - always hoping to find a new favorite. I also ordered a side of bulgogi skewers. The serving size on the teriyaki was fine, but the chicken seemed a bit sparse. It was cut in cubes instead of strips (weird) so that may have changed my perception. The sauce was also too thin. Just not my preference. Lots of steamed or lightly sauteed veggies, but they were really heavy on the carrot and zucchini. For the bulgogi - I believe I was just charged for the skewer side dish (3.99), but they gave me the entree instead, no skewers. I actually would have preferred the skewers even though I seem to have gotten a bonus. I took a couple of bites and it seemed fine. The leftovers will be dinner tonight. I ate the side salad that was packaged in the same box because I knew it wouldn't hold up well in the fridge. Not impressed. It seemed to be just leafy greens with an almost teriyaki tasting vinaigrette. It was weird and too acidic, and didn't go with the bulgogi at all. So with all of that, they seem to have a lot of interesting menu items, and I think I will be back to try some of them - including the kalbi, and maybe even some actual bulgogi skewers, but I will most likely not be having the teriyaki again.

Fresh, delicious, and healthy!

General Tso is nothing like General Tso's:(
(2)Jessica S.
I love their tofu plate, wraps everything. They must marinate the tofu or something. It's so good and everything is grilled/non-greasy with lots of veggies! The owners are so nice and they get to know their regular customers orders. They go out of their way to bring your food even if it's to go. Favorite all-time place,
(5)Tim S.
Went to dinner here (unfortunately) and was not impressed with the food nor the price. Ordered the Orange Chicken dish with rice, it was quite small amount of food for $10 and served on a paper plate. The only flavor it had was mildly burnt chicken with a scant amount of sauce and tons of carrots. For an appetizer, we ordered the skewered prawns for $4, which also has a mildly burnt flavor. Oh and there were 3 small shrimp (I expected 3 skewers, not 3 shrimp on 1 skewer). We ended up paying nearly $15 for this. On the good side, it looked clean inside and we didn't get sick.
(1)Shannon C.
I love this place. It is very clean. The owners are friendly and professional. The food is delicious!!! My favorite is the yakisoba with steak. They use 7 different veggies, not just cabbage and onion.
(5)Judy L.
Healthy foods - no MSG - all natural meat- friendly service. The place is clean!!!! The prices more than fair and reasonable!!!!! The portions were huge, we took leftovers home. Oh , & did I mention it was delicious?!!!!!! Don't know why we haven't gone there before, but we will most certainly return!
(5)Dave R.
Came for an early dinner. Service is friendly and quick. Ordered the chicken and beef over grilled vegetables and it was fantastic. 3 stars on the spicy scale and it is! Great flavor and crisp colorful vegetables. Plates are not plastic anymore but recycle brown paper plates, so the owners must read these reviews and care.
(4)Sarah P.
Pretty good, I like the grilled rather than deep fried versions of dishes like General Tso's and etc. I also like that there are fresh veggies in the dishes. Gives a little more variety to otherwise simple meat and rice dishes. I would like to go back and try the other dishes like Yakisoba, Teriyaki, and Bibimbap. I wish I'd taken a little longer to peruse the menu. The prices are fairly high for "fast" food, but I did have enough left for lunch the next day. My biggest complaint is that when they asked how spicy I wanted my dish, I chose a level 2--but I really had to power through to eat it, because it was almost too spicy to finish. I've had level 2 at many other places, it's usually my standard. But next time I'll be sure to go down a level as this was pretty darn spicy.
(3)Cole P.
Worst fried rice I have ever had. I am sitting here trying to figure out what makes it so bad and think that it has to do with how much carrot they put in there, which is a ton. Will try something different and report in, but for now, this meal is almost inedible.
(2)Mark B.
We go here all the time. The owners are fast and friendly. The genuinely seem to care about the quality of the food and always ask to make sure everything is just right. Best Pad Thai in Woodinville!
(5)Chris M.
I LOVE the MOEIDA steak plate! I try to keep it a biweekly part of my diet. The people are so friendly here too. They're the greatest. I'm getting the chicken Yakisoba tonight to switch it up- can't wait!
(5)Michael R.
Inexpensive, clean, we'll lit place with very conscientious owner who cares a lot about sourcing his products and preparing healthy meals. Expect healthier interpretations instead of classics and go with an open mind. Had the miso soup and General Tso's tofu (which includes fresh peas) over brown rice. Excellent. Spicyness adjusted to order. I would have called 4 (out if 5) kinda medium heat. Tofu was non-GMO!
(5)Erica W.
This place rocks!!!! The owner is super friendly, upon arrival he asked us if we had ever been there we hadn't so he made some suggestions. I decided on the teriyaki with chicken Breast and 2 star spicyness. My hubby had sweet n sour chicken 3 star. The sweet n sour chicken isn't your typical sweet n sour chicken (also general tsos). But to me, it's 100% better!! Better for you, pan seared NOT breaded and deep fat fried! The owner is really engaged with his customers. We have gone back on 3 occasions and he remembers our order every time, but we keep switching it up because it's good to try new things. But my favorite so far is General Tsos 4 star! Soooo yummy!! I love this place!!
(5)Hiro M.
I love me some Moeida. Moeida has some really yummy asian food. I really liked the chicken teriyaki and the chicken yakisoba. The chicken is tender and not dry like the other places I've been. Reasons to dine at Moeida: 1) Fresh veggies prepared daily 2) Tender marinated chicken, NOT coated w/ teriyaki sauce 3) Sauce is homemade, so you know there is no MSG or unhealthy preservatives 4) Healthy food (veggies, rice, etc.) & right next door to the movie theater 5) Polite and nice owners. Always happy to serve you with a smile :) I definitely recommend Moeida if you're looking for good food and short or long on time. In the famous words of Arnold, "I'll be back!"
(5)Stephanie W.
Not only is the food delicious, it's NUTRITIOUS and healthy! Not a lot of places take the extra time and money to spend on making food organic, non-GMO, non-MSG, and with fresh veggies. The chicken is the typical thin sliced "bulk ordered" meat. It's thick, tender and juicy. The Yaki-soba is a favorite and i'll be coming back to try everything on the menu! YUM!
(5)Crystal H.
Perfectly cooked chicken & beef is our experience. The spicy sauce is totally worth the extra 30 cents. It comes on the side, so you can add as much as you want, which is a good thing. Because it is very spicy ! Chicken a little grilled crispy on the outside, and tender moist inside. Husband had the steak, he really enjoyed it. generous portions. We had the noodles, which were also delicious. Pot stickers are very different from what you may be used to, I think they are deep fried. I really enjoyed the flavor, husband enjoys the more traditional style of pot stickers. Very reasonable prices, friendly service. Very clean. We will be back !

I'm a regular. When in the mood for teriyaki Moeida is my go-to place. The dishes are always tasty, and quickly delivered. While I'm not a fan of veggies in general, when I forget to order with "no veggies" those that are included are fresh and crunchy. I've never had a bad piece of chicken, and the rice is always moist and tender. As I said, I return regularly.
(4)Nate P.
Friendly! The people working were extremely friendly especially the older lady working behind the counter. The food was good and didn't take too long, there were a few other people eating at the time as well. The place is clean and the atmosphere is calm, having tried the orange chicken pan fried style and enjoying it quite a bit. I personally would like to return to try their supposed best house dish; their Yakisoba.
(5)Wesley W.
The reviews looked really good so my girlfriend and I decided to give it a shot, and it definitely lived up to expectations. It's family owned, and the lady (who I assume is Mrs. Lee, the owner) who took our order was extremely friendly, asking us what we were in the mood for and giving recommendations. We settled on the Kalbi (Korean short-ribs) and potstickers which came to about $16. The Kalbi was tender, well marinated, and packed a lot of flavor, plus the portion was reasonable for the price. The potstickers were crispy and flavorful, and came with a sweet homemade sauce for dipping. All in all, this is definitely a step above your average Asian teriyaki place. If the food was served at a fancier restaurant with expensive decor, you wouldn't think twice about paying a lot more.
(5)Peter S.
I was headed to Qdoba, noticed Moeida, and gave the underdog a try. I ordered the Pad Thai. The owners served up a tasty dish with crisp, fresh carrots, red cabbage, and sprouts on the side. I think someone else was eating the Korean Beef and I want to try that next time. I don't understand how someone complained about the size of the portions. I got a very generous amount of food with fresh ingredients. So assuming a baseline of 3 stars, +1 for the food, freshness, and portion size. Another +1 for being a small business offering friendly and fast customer service, and having a sense of involvement in the community.
(5)Kayte F.
I have been here over 6 times and every time it has never disappointed. Food is fresh tasting, never that nasty frozen food taste that you get from most teriyaki places.
(5)Darrell W.
Great food, fast service, and very friendly staff/owners. Food is always fresh and restaurant always clean. It's healthy too! The low carb veggie plate with chicken breast makes a perfect lunch. Highly recommend you give this place a try!
(5)A. B.
Service was excellent and the pictures of all of the food made me chuckle, but I felt bad having to ask what the pictures were of because they're not labeled. I'd recommend the General Tso's, it was quite snazzy. The beauty of the gooey version served at your typical Chinese joint is that is sticks everything together... this version was really hard to eat with chopsticks (and the plethora of peas would still escape from a fork as well). If the meal had been a dollar or two less per plate I would be more than ready for 5 stars. Although I'm really tempted to give the 5th star simply because right after we ordered the gal washed her hands before heading to the kitchen. Bravo!
(4)Jon G.
Just had dinner here for the first time with my family. The food was very good but what really prompted me to give it four stars was the service. It is an order at the counter place and they bring the food out. The owner recognized that we were first timers and walked us through the menu directing us to the pictures above the counter. He was very cheerful and helpful and for that alone we will be back.
(4)Linda T.
Service gets 5 stars, but the food gets 2 stars. It's a nice casual restaurant for dining in or just take out. The menu is pretty basic fast food Asian dishes. We dined in and had: - chicken yakisoba: the best dish we had - bulgogi: plain and lacked flavor - phad thai: the worst dish we had, it didn't taste anything like phad thai - dok bok ki: we ordered the spicy version, but they made a sweet version, each piece was covered in a hard sugar coating like candy. I've never had dok bok ki that tasted like this and definitely not what I was expecting. Service was very nice, but I wouldn't come back here for the food.
(3)Kristin W.
I've been here once a long time ago. From what I can remember the food was really good. Fresh ingredients. I got the kalbi ribs. TASTY! Decent prices. Clean restaurant. Friendly staff. I always want to go there when I'm in the area (which is frequently), but never do. I buy clothes at Target instead. Gah.
(4)Jill T.
All natural, homemade sauces, fresh vegetables and two of the kindest owners you'll ever meet who take great pride in their businesses. Never had anything but really good food here. A great place to stop while wine tasting or shopping.
(5)Jarrod L.
The owner is super-friendly and the food was really great. The four of us walked in and were immediately greeted and asked if we'd ever been in before. We said, "No," and the owner jumped into describing his favorite menu items and trying to help us pick what we might want. I ended ordering his "General Tso's Chicken" which was delicious, but calling it General Tso's feels totally wrong. It was chunks of chicken pan fried with a slightly sweet, spicy sauce along with peas, green onion, and peppers over a bed of rice. I knew what I'd be getting beforehand though, so I wasn't surprised, but if you didn't know that their variation was so different from the two major types, you'd be disappointed. All of the vegetables were very fresh (clearly never frozen), and the meats were great. The steak on one companion's teriyaki plate was easily the best steak I've had in a teriyaki restaurant. I'm not up in Woodinville often, but I'd be glad to eat here again.
(5)Matt V.
Moeida is certainly my favorite quick take-out asian cuisine in the area. The food is fresh, tasty, and prepared well. The owner is super nice and good for a quick, pleasant conversation. Despite some other reviews I have had nothing but quick turn-around times on my orders, but then again this place has never been swamped when I was there. A shame because it deserves more business!
(5)Jeremy D.
Everything is made fresh and if there's a line, you could be waiting up to 30 minutes. Don't come here if you're under a time crunch. That said, if you've got the time, it's well worth the wait! All the items our group selected were delicious. Potstickers, yakisoba, general tso's tofu, chicken. Everything was fresh and flavorful, a great value for the quality they're providing. And they don't use MSG and only meats not treated with hormones! The chef (owner?) was happy to accommodate any special requests. All in all, an experience much more akin to a full service restaurant, but packaged in a convenient take out shop (with room to dine-in if you want). Definitely a new favorite!
(5)Christine Y.
Unlike other Asian fast food (teriyaki) joints, this one is a breath of fresh air. Clean space with lime green accents. Really friendly, down to earth service. Fresh tasting food. I liked how quick the owner was able to give me recommendations given what I wanted. It was just a bit pricey for the amount of food I got and after cleaning plate, I left still hungry. Is there a hole in my stomach? Possibly. But do check Moeida out.
(4)JoAnn A.
I was in the area with my sister and came here for lunch because she always goes there. I just ordered chicken breast with brown rice and veggies and made it spicy (of course :) ) and I thought my meal was delicious. The food came out within a decent time frame too so that was nice and they were very friendly. Looking at their menu, they offer quite a wide range of food, and maybe I'll be back in the area one of these days to try something else out :) Although, I have noticed with a couple of other reviews that it's overpriced. I kinda have to agree. I did think the cost of it was a little much compared to other places where I can get a similar meal.
(3)Anil A.
Everthing on the menu is excellent. Very friendly owner. Highly recommended. My favorite is General Tso Chicken.
(5)Ijeoma O.
Oh man, what a nice surprise! As other reviews have stated, the service here is top notch. I had no clue what I wanted and the server asked me some questions and recommended the low carb plate with tofu. I usually stay away from low carb so I was wary, but I gave it a go and it was JUST what I didn't know I wanted! Plate of super fresh and tasty veggies, perfectly cooked tofu, and awesome sauce. Light on the oils too! My son had the kids plate and absolutely devoured it. We'll definitely be back.
