Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

This is probably the best Mexican in Seattle metropolitan area. And I have been to about 20 different ones at various locations like seattl, bellevue, renton, redmond, etc. I lived in Arizona for over 20 yeears and then my company moved me to Washington state. I had lots of great mexican food in Arizona at different restaurants. So I compare all mexican restaurants to the ones in AZ. I don't understand the deal here in Washington. It's like all these mexcian joint removed all the flavor from the food. With exception of La Fuente, food in all other mexican restaurants are very drab (no flavor, no spices, not hot). La Fuente comes close to Mexican restaurants in AZ. Compared to all other mexican joints, La Fuente is head and shoulder above everyone else. If you are in Scottsdale, AZ, go try Julio's Mexican Restaurant on Indian School Rd. They are one of the best (well, they were 6 years ago when I was there).

Fast service, decent food. Would certainly recommend to a friend.

Great restaurant to go to on a weekday, not a weekend. They get extremely busy and do not take reservations on Fri, Sat or Sun. Parking is really tight. You will have better luck parking across the street and walking over. The food is absolutely worth all the hassle and the wait. Service is great and it even comes with a smile. The menu can be a little pricey but again, well worth it. This is also a kid friendly restaurant. I would recommend the chicken tacos and carne asada.
(4)Carol C.
The best tortilla soup anywhere I have ever been. Great service, wonderful little local restaurant. Ignore negatives...we have been there for many years. Its fabulous.
(4)Shooter S.
Jumbo Cadillac Margarita on the rocks - 2 of these and you are well on your way to happyland. We eat here a lot and are never disappointed. The Carne Asada is the best. They are busy at times but there is an obvious reason for that. The food and Margaritas are great!
(5)Katie H.
Love their chicken fajitas! Moist and flavorful and the onions and peppers are caramelized perfectly! Large portion and comes w/ tortillas, sour cream, guac, pico de gallo...The works! Go here with my work peers almost once a week and I am sooo hooked, it has blown away all other Mexican places thus far for me and I am a Mexican food freak:) Check it out if you are in the neighborhood, on Sunset...East of the Landing. Ciao!

I usually eat at the La Fuente in Fairwood, but decided to try the one in the Highland's since we were in the area. What a difference! The salsa was horrible, the chips were stale, and the service was horrible. The dinner was blah. I won't be back to this location.
(2)nerd h.
My favorite Mexican joint in the Seattle area so far. They give you a s***-ton of food and it's really good. I usually get something that has shrimp in it, and the pollo a la crema is ridic, too. Margaritas are awesome. People that work there are friendly. I moved to more Northern latitudes, so this is one of the Renton spots that I actually kinda miss.
(5)Paul B.
While the staff is friendly and the location is convenient, the food is pretty nasty. The refried beans were runny, the rice was dry, this is about on-par with what people in the Northwest consider Mexican food to be. They don't have Horchata, which is OK for Taco Time and Taco Bell, but not a Mexican restaurant. I'd recommend driving down the hill and going to Bigotes de la Villa instead.
(2)Alli D.
Love this place! Best salsa in town. Our family even buys it to-go for family get-togethers. They always make my huevos just the way I want them and the service is always fast and friendly.

We stop in here from time-to-time and continue to be pleased with the food, the service, and the overall experience. Tonight, for example, I ate about half my meal, and, upon noticing I had pretty much stopped grazing, our server asked if I would like a box for the rest. I said yes, and, when he brought it, asked if I'd like him to transfer my food to the box or would I prefer to do it myself. (I chose the latter, but appreciated that I was given the option.) Later, when he brought the check, he also brought a plastic bag for the aforementioned box, so it was easier to carry and I had no fear of seepage. It's little gestures like this that make a business stand out. The first time I went to La Fuente, I had the Pollo Asado. I enjoyed it so much that I have ordered the same thing every time I have returned -- until tonight. I was just feeling like trying something different so I went for the Enchiladas Suizas, which I had not had -- anywhere -- in many years. Tangy, and just spicy enough, I was again very satisfied with my meal. Good service. Good food. Good value. All good reasons to return to La Fuente.

WIN. i am so glad i finally gave this place a try! lots of vegetarian options for the hubby and lots of seafood options for me. i had the fajitas mixtas (prawns & halibut) dairy-free (without the sauce, hold the sour cream) with corn tortillas and it was DEEElicious. hubby had the veggie combo and said he would eat there again - which is the highest compliment mexican food gets from him. service was pretty good. the water was kept full but our server was too busy to check on us after delivering the food. i live a 20 minute walk from the fairwood location but it has such bad reviews that i've stayed away from it. but this experience has encouraged me to try it. if it sucks, i'll just come across town to this location.

Average Mexican Restaurant. I eat Mexican food frequently and their menu options and prices are very typical. Good service. I go there twice a year because I get 2 coupons in the Entertainment Guide.
(3)Pam H.
We call this place The Crack House... The salsa is like crack! Traveled far and wide and tried salsa over the country, but this is the best. The food is good and the service is always friendly, but we could have chips & salsa for dinner and we would be just fine!!
(4)Julia P.
A local favorite, busy any time of any day. Consistently delicious food and relatively good service. The first time we ate here was the day we moved to the Renton Highlands -- 15 years ago! We eat here weekly, as you can count on a good quick meal from a menu with something for everybody,
(4)Jens J.
Service was good and the restaurant is comfortable. We loved the tamales here. The tamale shell is fluffy - almost like cornbread. Tasty sweet meat on the inside. The salsa with the chips was excellent. Today was one of those rare and gratifying times that the amount of cilantro in a dish (the salsa) was so light, that I actually enjoyed the flavor the cilantro provided. I also appreciate that Fuente serves whole beans, instead of refried beans, in their combination plates. I happened to order the "Steak a la Chicanas" combination plate. The literal translation of this dish "Steak in the style of Mexican females born in the United States" doesn't make too much sense to me. In any case, I was blown away by the sheer volume of green bell pepper in this dish. I don't like green bell pepper so I picked them out. There were so many of them, that I completely filled the empty chips basket with discarded bell pepper! What little that was remaining was a sauce, cubes of beef and white onion. It was very bland and uncharacteristically of me, had to apply salt and pepper to try to add some flavor. On the other hand, the Mexican rice was horribly salty. The combination plate also had a sort of coleslaw, but it was sullied by an overabundance of green bell pepper. Not a terrible place to grab Mexican at lunch. However, you just have to be careful about which dishes your order.

I've been to a few Mexican restaurants in the area and this is by far my favorite! Prompt and friendly service (helpful when you have a toddler with a short attention span), huge platters (perfect re-fried beans for a toddler to snack on), super large margaritas (when I'm not driving), and the best mole' enchiladas I have had in a while. The pollo al la crema is also one of my favorites. I love those dishes so much I haven't tried anything else but each friend I bring there always leaves full and happy (usually with some leftovers too).
(5)Calvin P.
This is my family's favorite Mexican restaurant in the south end, and it has a lot of loyal patrons. Their salsa is delicious, and they do a great job with their grilled meats like carne asada. I especially love the Burrito Asada, which is very satisying when I can't make up your mind between a plate of carne asada and a traditional burrito platter. Their Mexican rice is quite tasty, and that's always a sign of quality, if you ask me. My partner thinks their chicken en mole is outstanding. Their margaritas are large and tasty, too. I brought a bunch of vegetarians (not vegan) to La Fuente recently, and they were mightily impressed by the vegetarian options. One of our friends said it was the best vegetarian Mexican she'd ever had. Their wait staff is friendly, attentive, and efficient. They don't seem to have a lot of turnover in their staff -- I feel like they've all been there as long as we've been going (about 7 years). For food, drink, and service, they get 5 stars. But for atmosphere, it's 3 stars. The inside of the restaurant is decorated in a Mexican village style. It does the the job just fine, but it doesn't add much to the dining experience. In other words, it's lacking the "fantasy" aspect of eating in a well done faux Mexican hacienda, which many gringos (including myself) appreciate. Regardless, the interior could definitely use some refurbishment and refinement to bring out its full potential. It'd be nice to see the restaurant relocate to a standalone building some day with a bit more exterior flair... and with parking that doesn't abut the front windows. The food and the people keep us coming back to La Fuente!

First, I have to explain why I drove 40ish miles to eat at this restaurant. I grew up in Wenatchee where there are plenty of excellent Mexican restaurants, including my favorite, La Fuente. There aren't any good Mexican restaurants near my home, so hey, why not see if the La Fuente in Renton is on par with the one in Wentachee? From what I understand, the 2 La Fuente restaurants in Renton are owned by the same people and the one in Wenatchee is owned by their nephew. The drive was worth it. The chips and salsa were pretty good. We had three types of salsa--traditional, pico de gallo, and a cabbage based pico de gallo. The cabbage salsa was good, but not as good as the one served in Wenatchee. I ordered the burrito verde--it was excellent (if a Mexican restaurant can't make a good burrito verde or a carne asada, then it's not a good Mexican restaurant in my opinion). My wife ordered the veggie burrito and liked it. We both had leftovers to be enjoyed tomorrow. We also had the deep fried ice cream for desert. I don't think it was really fried though. Either way, it was pretty good, and only $3. Overall, this place serves awesome authentic Mexican food. The servers were nice and timely. The interior of the restaurant is by no means upscale, so if ambiance is what you're looking for, look elsewhere. Upgrade the interior and add a few micro brew drafts, and this place would be a 5. I'll be making the 1.5 hour round trip drive again!

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant! Try the Muy Especial. Great food at fair prices and very good service. They bring you chips and salsa when they give you your water.
(5)Katie H.
If you love Cheese you will love this place! everything has a lb. of cheese! Salsa is yummy. Service is friendly. Could be cleaner and better cheese free options for us that have a love hate relationship with dairy. My family loves this place and they are very accommodating for large parties and children.
(3)Vanessa H.
If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Great service and excellent food. It's family owned and they always remember us when we come in. The cheese and onion enchiladas are my husbands go to meal he has ordered since he was a wee one, and I love their chimichangas and taco salad. Their salsa is excellent and chips are always warm and fresh. You can't go wrong with anything you order. Jumbo margaritas are a must, not too much mixer like most places. Mmmmm
(5)Candice F.
My first time eating here, and I've decided it's my favorite Mexican restaurant in Renton. Friendly and fast service. We had the beef enchiladas and chicken fajitas. Delicious! Love the salsa and warm chips too.
(4)Maylee L.
Pretended it was my friend's Bday. She got to wear a sombrero &fantastico music was played. The best part was that she got FREE dessert YUM! It was like toasted chips or something. All I know was that the orgasm in my mouth was unforgettable!! The best part coming to this restaurant is FREE complimentary Chips and Salsa. We also ask for a Bean Dip as well! YUMMMYY. This place has a lot of parking and the people who work here are very passionate and family nice! Definitely eating here again! MUY BIEN!!!!
(4)Ponarett X.
The food here seems mediocre to me - nothing to write home about. I have had far better Mexican food elsewhere. I love enchiladas but I was very disappointed with theirs. It was a bit bland. The last time I went I had a tamale and it was dry, dry, dry! I tried smothering in it salsa and sour cream but it did not help. That's what I get for branching out of my comfort zone. The chips were also a bit stale that day and that's not the first time that has happened. On a plus side, the service is great! The staff is super attentive and my water glass never goes empty.
(2)Sean W.
Have lived in Bay area in Cali the past 4 years, have had great Mexican food in Cali, AZ, TX, and also in Mexico. To this day, I still always have to compare all of them to La Fuente. Still #1 in my book!
(5)Courtney T.
Been gonig here since I was a wee one. This place was always a family favorite. Though I miss the original crew and the pictures of my family and friends that for so many years decorated their walls, I still LOVE the food. Enchiladas are a staple, but the Pollo a la Crema takes the cake every time. Yum. Great atmosphere, lots of seating, but this place doesn't have any trouble getting packed. I love Mexican Food and La Fuente still holds a top spot on my list. Very family friendly and the food comes out super quick ~ as if they know your order when you walk through the door. Perhaps they can read minds????
(5)Paul C.
Taking off a star because of the service. Everything else was great. Came here not expecting anything at all. I was actually shocked to find it was authentic Mexican food and was really good. Came here with a few friends and was seated immediately. While perusing the menu, two other men walk in who seem to be regulars. They are given chips/salsa and water before us. Their orders were also taken before ours. During this time, we're waiting for chips/salsa, water and for our order to be taken. We finally get taken care of and wait for the food. The food did come out pretty fast. I ordered the Arros con Pollo and it was great. I'm used to having mediocre Arros con Pollo elsewhere and was hesitant about ordering it. This is probably one of the best ones I've had up here. My friends food was also very good. Now, we're all from Cali and spoiled with awesome Mexican food so it was nice having good food. Will definitately be coming back. Hopefully the service is better the next time around.
(4)Elyse S.
This is probably my favorite Mexican Restaurant in Renton. I live in the general vicinity, so I have been here often. The food is great, the portions are huge and the staff is always very friendly! I totally recommend the tortilla soup. It's delish.
(4)Gil R.
Great food, great service, large portions, killer drinks... can't ask for much more than that. We have another mexican restaurant in our neighborhood that we had been going to for over 15 years. It is very good, but we decided to try La Fuente after driving by it for years. From the very first time we went, Carlos made us feel welcomed and special. That never happened at the other restaurant after all those years. Now we go to La Fuetes usually twice a month. Try the Cancun platter, but I'm warning you.. be very hungry! It's awesome, and it's huge! I always bring half home for the next days lunch! And try the Cadillac Margaritas!
(5)Jamie J.
Ok, not the best place I have ever been to... BUT there are some very bright spots that will real me in when I'm in this part of town. 1. The price. The ratio from price to amount of food is amazing. I have left overs for two days and paid for one meal. 2. Fast and good service. If you're looking for a quick meal that won't force you to plan your whole night around it, this is it. They keep your glass full, your basket-O-chips stacked, and they check up on you frequently. I wouldn't say the food was outstanding but it was satisfying. The veggies I got from the veggie quesadillas were a little too drench in grease... but they were good :). And the tamale, same kind of issues. Too much cheese and the meat a little to rough. The chicken was also a bit overcooked. The best way to put this is it is more low quality food. You get what you pay for sometimes, and in this case you do. You get a LOT of food, but not of the best quality. If you're looking for a joint with hand made tortillas and chips, and the works... this isn't what you're looking for. BUT for a cheap, stomach stretching, quick mexican experience, I say hey "why not?" Lots-O-Eats.
(3)Oanh M.
Eh... this place is ok. The food here wasn't spectacular to me. I dont understand why anyone would give this place 4 or 5 stars. Maybe I ordered the wrong things? I got a super burrito and it was flavorless so i had to keep adding hot sauce to it. Azteca is even better than this place!
(3)Kelly T.
love love love love it here. Service is excellent, they always make you feel like family.. it's funny. Ambiance is great, decor is what I expect from a Mexican restaurant. Free chips and salsa are wonderful because the salsa is actually spicy. I always get pollo a la crema and am always satisfied, the portions are HUGE so I always take the leftovers home. big thumbs up!
(5)Mary H.
I am not usually a "American Mexican" type of person but when I want it, this is the place I go! We always eat in the bar and service is very fast and friendly. The food is always hot and tasty. This is where I go for my nacho fix when needed and although they are loaded with cheese they have become a smaller portion lately which is fine as I don't need them anyway! Lol! They also have whole beans vs. refried which I try and remember to ask for as there is no lard in them. Another secret is to ask for the Mexican salad (not on the menu). It is a cabbage, lime juice type of salad and very tasty. Parking is plentiful. There are no big surprises on the menu but the food is tasty and well prepared.
(4)Krista H.
I have been coming here for as long as I can remember. Service is always fast, food it always great, and people are always nice. What more can you ask for? The main reason I wanted to come give them a good review is how above and beyond they go for people. Our wedding was during the snowstorm in January and the restaurant we had booked our rehearsal dinner at had left us high and dry. The morning of we were scrambling to figure out where to find availability last minute for 25 people. We pulled in and talked to La Fuente. Even though they were busy that day, they were so willing to help, and it was at the last minute. They did us a huge favor that day and I will always have a special place in my heart for this awesome restaurant!
(5)Ashley M.
I've been coming here since before I could talk and I've never been disappointed. The staff is amazing and I've loved everything I've tried!
(5)Meaghan B.
Service here has been hit and miss. There is one waitress in particular that I've noticed is nasty to English speaking customers and very friendly, helpful and attentive with her Spanish-speaking customers. I speak Spanish, I'm just white and probably don't look like I do - so I find it a little offensive that there is a difference. However, it does appear to only be the one waitress. If we get anyone else - service is fast and friendly. The food here is of a consistent quality. It's not the most fabulous Mexican food ever - but I'm picky, I moved here from south Texas. It's certainly some of the better Mexican food I've had in Washington, though. The 'Nachos LaFuente' are pretty good and loaded - I can't even split a plate of those and have anything else. The tortillas are always piping hot and the flour tortillas come with butter on the side. The tortilla soup is fantastic - and often what I crave when sick. They do have a full bar and "jumbo" margaritas. Seriously, the size of your head. Unlike many places, the "jumbo" margarita does not simply mean more mix and the same amount of alcohol - it says proportionate. We often find ourselves heading over to LaFuente on lazy days when we're just not up for cooking and want something close to home.
(4)Beudreaux D.
Tried this place because it looked popular when we drove by. The food was good. Margarita OK but nothing special. Menu was standard choices. Service was slow but friendly. They waited a table that came in after us, mostly bad because it was 8 people getting their order in before ours. So it took a while for our food to come out. Free parking. Prices were typical for this kind of place. It was not typical that they did not take American Express when they charge plenty for their food. Very tecano of them. That was kind of irritating. Probably will try something else in Renton next time I am there. Renton has lots of good places.
(3)Evan S.
This joint doesn't look like much on the outside. A crammed and non-descript strip mall shoved well off Sunset, La Fuente was not at all inviting from the street. I came here based on reviews on Yelp especially from the fella who hailed from AZ and called La Fuente the best Mexican food in town. Sorry folks, it's really really not - and far from it. (The best I've found so far is the taco bus in the Saars lot at Rainier Beach.) La Fuente is not bad - it's decent - but I felt like the meal was a gut bomb which is how I would describe 95% of Mexican restaurants in Seattle. In La Fuente's case they second-guess their cuisine by doubling the portions and loading the combo plates with half a head of shredded lettuce, fake cheese, a 1/2 cup of sour cream and more rice and refried beans that anyone could consume. Gross. What lies beneath all that is decent. I had the picadillo enchillada, but burrowing through all the stuff just frustrated me. It's feels extremely wasteful to deliver on the massive portion while cutting corners on the quality of the food. I just didn't trust it from the moment it was set in front of me. And with one look I could tell it contained more calories than I should eat in a single day. Service is excellent and prices decent. The wait staff share responsibilities so that your water glass stays full. The place is very clean and obviously well managed. You can make dinner or lunch here a great experience by ordering ala carte or a small plate. Also, the marg was excellent and it was a bonus to sit in the bar away from the noisy sniveling rug rats. I'm going again - just tweaking my food order and sticking to their basics.
(3)R J.
Not impressed at all.....the food and service were not just not up to par. I walked in there and waited 5 minutes in the front when there were barely any customers and I could hear the workers chatting. The service was very to the point and the staff didn't even ask me through my meal how everything was. This wouldn't have bothered me at all if the food was good enough but the camarones a la diabla was probably the worst I have ever had. They gave us chips and salsa to start off with. We got through the salsa pretty quick because it was very good. The server brought us some more and this one was pathetic! Did not taste the same as the previous and was just plain watered down. Overall I would have to disagree with the other reviews on here but go and see for yourself.
(2)Shaota G.
Been here many times over the past 5 years or so, & it's the BOMB! They have awesome FAST service & my favorite here is their Arros Con Pollos, mmmmm! Makes me hungry just thinking about it...
(5)Bonnie B.
Not usually a fan of Mexican, but It's my husband's favorite so we try quite a few. La Fuentes actually impressed me. Great fajitas, and his super burritto was... (Wait for it...) Super. Chips and salsa were good, and the service was prompt. Definitely coming back. Oh, and the strawberry margarita was yummy and huge.
(4)David S.
My son had the kids chicken strips for dinner today. He has been throwing up ever since. Someone needs to clean their kitchen. We won't be back.
(1)Lauren L.
This restaurant has the classic Mexican menu. Food is very good. Generous portions. Great service. Very attentive wait staff. Our family goes here often. Can get busy though, so prepare for that on weekends.
(4)Devon N.
I have been eating at La Fuente since I was 10 years old. I am 26 now and they haven't forgotten me or my order. Every time I stop in they treat me with nothing but kindness and hospitality. The food is crazy good and reasonably priced. I get a side order bean burrito with a little extra sauce, it's the size of my face and fills me perfectly. TRY IT OUT!!!!
(5)Ben J.
The food was ok, but very expensive for the quality. I've had better food from a taco truck at half the price. The restaurant was very dimly lit when we went, I could hardly see my food. The waiter was ok. Again, not horrible, but there are better restaurants close by with better food at a better price and atmosphere.
(2)Nicholas C.
Went here for the first time Friday night, as the Chinese place (Little Peking) next to it was closed for remodeling/work. Needless to say, this place managed to completely reverse our disappointment at our dinner plans being squashed. Food was very good, and I ordered the jumbo margarita, at a coworkers insistence. It's a CHALICE of margarita, that glass is gigantic. The overall price for dinner and drinks was most agreeable as well, I will definitely return here.
(4)Hope N.
As good as close-to-authentic Mexican food I've had around Seattle. Everything is smothered in cheese and goes down yummy. Large portions for the price. Had to wait to sit down because the place was hoppin but was worth the wait. Chip and water guy was quick to give us fresh chips, salsa, and water, so we almost got full just off of chips. Maybe we will just share a meal next time. I got the chili relleno, enchilada, and tostada meal all with chicken. Although the chicken was flavorful, I probably wouldn't get it again (just stick with the cheese) in the enchilada and relleno because it overpowers the taste of the dish. The tostada was not really a tostada, because the corn tortilla was not fried, more like a soft taco. Overall, I liked the flavor of the dish but it was not exactly what I was expecting. Note: the chili relleno is really egg heavy, if your into that.
(4)katie l.
This is probably one of the best mexican joints i have ever been to! There salsa is freshly made, and i'm pretty sure the ships are as well... All the food is AMAZING, fast service, friendly people, and the drinks will put a smile on your face and a little pepper in your step... definitely come check this place out!!
(5)Christina G.
Oh, I really like this place! It's pretty small, not fancy, and seems to be family owned & operated. I'm really picky about Mexican food (being from Texas, and all), and this place reminds me of home. The waiters/staff are great - thy remember us when we come in, and half the time remember what we like. I have had lots of things on the menu, but some of my favorites are the Carne Asada, Chicken Enchilada plate, & the Tortilla Soup (it's a meal, trust me). I don't think I have ever left there without drinking one of their LARGE Top Shelf Margaritas. Love them - they are not stingy on the alcohol. Try it!
(4)Kyle F.
The style fits a stereotypical Mexican restaurant. The prices and quality were both top notch, but still generic. All of the employees were polite and seemed to take pride in the business. We received an appropriate amount of attention, and it can be difficult to keep my Diet Coke refilled. Overall the generic style and food lead to my 3 star rating. La Fuente is a well run restaurant - you know exactly what you will get!
(3)J B.
We had a last minute need for booze and food we wouldn't regret someplace that would actually still be open on a holiday, so we piled in the car and bit the bullet and drove to La Fuente, and man were we glad we did. The rocks margarita and the sangria were both tasty, though the sangria merely had the expected amount of booze; the margarita they didn't skimp on. The food was phenomenal north Mexican -- the nachos were piled high, the salsa was delicious (and hot!), the tostada and enchiladas were yummy and large enough that we brought home leftovers. We paid a little less that we would have at somewhere like Torero's, but got better food. If I could give 4.5 stars I would -- the difference is the staff, who were a little inattentive (I think they wanted to go home), and the low number of jalapenos in the nachos (I'm picky). But maybe they just wanted to take it easy on us gringos. Definitely going back.
(4)Chris T.
This place is a block away from my apartment, and they have consistently good food here. The portion sizes are just about right (not too huge, which is sometimes the case at other Mexican restaurants), and the food is flavorful; I particularly recommend the mole dishes. Service is incredibly fast and friendly. I moved here from Milwaukee about 2 1/2 years ago (which has an excellent Hispanic neighborhood filled with awesome Mexican restaurants), and one thing I noticed here in Seattle is that it's hard to get really, really good Mexican food. La Fuente at least gets close. And I can walk there anytime I want!

We've only eaten in the restaurant once but usually get our food to go, so I'll just be talking about their yummy, yummy food. My husband is addicted to their super burrito, gets it every time and finishes it every bite. I've had a few different dishes and they are always tasty and fresh. The steak is tender with a nice marinade, the guacamole always hits the spot and the portions keep you full for the rest of the day. My biggest challenge is ordering the tacos to eat at home, as the shells always get soggy and split by the time I get home, but that's my lesson and not a complaint about them.

My bf thinks it's amazing! Great value for what you get. Also the servers are so sweet!
(4)Mike M.
Great food, and lots of it for a great price. Try the seafood, outstanding.

Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaave Mexican spot of all times. I have been going here since I was a child...and now that I have a family of my own - we go here as well! The service is exceptional, the food is amazing...and the margaritas are THE BEST! It is for sure very welcoming and comfy...though they are SUPER popular - so come early or expect a wait! Burrito Picadillo is by far the TOP thing I would suggest! Enjoy, I know you won't regret it!

Went there for the first time yesterday and we are still raving about it. We are from So. Calif and we know what good Mexican food should taste like and this place does not disappoint! Super friendly server who was attentive and on top of things. Huge servings and reasnoble prices. What more can you ask? We will definatly be back!
(5)Jamie A.
I was visiting Renton for business and wanted to get some mexican food. I found this place on Yelp and I was not disappointed! It was easily as good or better then the mexican restaurants in Las Vegas where I live. I had a beef Chimichanga and Chile Relleno. Although I'm used to having Chile Relleno made with Pasilla peppers, I really like the ones they had with Annehiem chiles. It was one of the best I've ever had. The Chimichanga was good but, I was a little disappointed they used seasoned ground beef instead of shredded beef. I probably would have gave them 5 stars if it wasn't for that. Service was excellent and fast. They have good strawberry Margaritas as well. I would definitely go back again.

We were craving Mexican food so we decided to try out La Fuente. As we perused the menu, the servers brought out chips which helped to satisfy our hunger and they were generous to bring out more salsa without us having to ask. We had the chicken enchiladas and picadillo enchiladas in mole. The servings were pretty large as a prior reviewer stated and the food was very good. However, I'm not sure where everyone else is getting their Mexican food but the prices, though not overpriced, are still a bit higher than I expected at $25. I will definitely come back but I know I can pick up comparably authentic Mexican food at the El Riconsito for about $10 less. Overall though, I would definitely recommend this place over go to a chain with suspect food like Azteca.
(4)Elizabeth R.
I love La Fuente. After living in Chicago, I had a really hard time finding Mexican food here I liked. La Fuente fits the bill. Their salsa is awesome (you can buy it to go in huge containers for around $5 if you ask), and their burritos and cheese enchiladas are quite tasty. The only thing I have had here that was bad was the a veggie enchilada (spinach and mushroom, I think). The portions are HUGE (as are the margaritas). If you're looking for some solid Mexican food, this is the place.
(4)Amanda S.
This is my favorite Mexican place in WA that we've found. It seems authentic to me, but I love their food so I guess it doesn't matter that much. We've always had great experience with the service - they are fast and good. Love this place!
(5)Kay D.
I have been going to this restaurant for the past 10 years and will probably never stop doing so! Staff is great, atmosphere is great. Its your typical family mexican restaurant with the BEST mex food. Margaritas are huge, Sangria is the best I have ever tasted, and the portions are big as well. You will not walk away dissatisfied! (Unless you pick a meal that doesnt suit your tastes) Ha!
(5)Laura R.
La Fuente's is the BEST Mexican food around! We go to dinner every Monday with our friends. The staff know our drink orders and can always guess what we are going to order that night. It's a completly family ran business with longetivity. The staff is so friendly, the blend amazing margaritas and the food is to die for! Monday night is by far my favorite night of the week and after 3 years of Monday dinners, I can say I am not tired or bored of the food. It is consistantly amazing and always served hot!
(5)Miryana G.
This is hands down one of the best mexican restaurants ever. The portions are big, the prices are reasonable, the food is DELICIOUS but most importantly the service is fantastic. They are very quick to get your food, refiis, etc. even when they are super busy and packed. The servers are very friendly and remember you if you come back frequently. I love this place.
(5)Aaron B.
I've been coming here for years and so has my family but after reading the reviews I have to say this because I keep coming back for it... Their tortilla soup... is... ...the best! Ask for it spicy, and you just may very well die. Of happiness because its incredible. Great portions of meat as well as delicious broth and tortilla and cheese. Seriously, ask for it spicy! Unless you can't handle spicy in which case too bad for you. I enjoy their other dishes as well, whether it's Arroz com Pollo or just some simple tacos, and I think their salsa is great (yay complimentary chips and salsa) but I must say again... Tortilla Soup :) And they're open til 11pm! Late night treat ! Tortilla Soup. Spicy. You're welcome.
(5)Marilynn A.
Excellent food and service. I went to Casa Durango last week. I wanted to try #2 place first. It was good, but this was definitely better. Nicer restaurant, fresher veggies piled high on my veggie fajita skillet, great refried beans, rice was a little dry. Fresh chips, good chunky salsa. You'll have to ask for carrots, tomatoes etc. to be added. (If you are vegetarian like me). If you're getting chicken or beef, you'll be fine. Good margarita...big without having to order jumbo. Portions are huge. You will need a box. I will definitely go back next time I'm in town.
(4)Kristy R.
We have been coming here for over 25 years. Food is always great. It's gotten a little bit expensive in the last 10 years so we do not come as often. Drinks are large and food portion is big too. If you don't mind spending a little extra you will love it!
(3)Lilliana H.
WARNING they use peanut butter in he enchilada and red sauces. This isn't very visible on the menu but one small print disclaimer on the back. I told waiter my daughter who is 2 and I am not to eat peanuts due to allergy and we need no sauces on our burrito. The burrito comes out slopped in red sauce! He took it back and brought another out. We never had drinks refilled and questions about peanuts in the salsa weren't answered. I won't come back it's just too risky. The food was decent but the risk of peanuts in everything is too high. I only let my daughter eat beans and rice. Restaurants need to learn to quit using major allergens in sauces like peanuts when they advertise as family friendly. I'm a chef and my speciality is Mexican cuisine I never use nuts in my red sauces I use chocolate and tequila.
(2)Teressa L.
Our family came here looking for a sit down place. Staff was friendly. Our family was mixed on this place. Half of us liked the salsa. Has a different flavor...maybe smokey? We are from the east coast, so different to us. Some liked it, others didn't. They kept the drinks full and the chips/salsa full as well. My margarita was Awesome. Second one was just as strong. :-) The meals are big and I could have shared with one of my kids. One kid had enchiladas. Wow, the cheese. Easily a pound of cheese on them. Only problem: it was cheddar. Would prefer the white mexican cheeses. Felt too American. But this kid LOVED the rice. He never eats rice. He ate his and all ours as well. Another kid had chimichanga. It was super tasty. Again, huge meal. The carne asada tacos were just ok. My chicken burrito was good. Overall we enjoyed our meal here. But the yellow cheese....interestingly 3 meals had white cheese on the beans. One with yellow. Weird. Why? For a sit down place, we would return. I would try some other items though....in hopes of more authentic mexican type food.
(3)Ben B. N.
Not sure why this place gets so many stars. It's like eating tacos from a middle school lunch. Gross. Go across the street and get some authentic tacos for $1.20
(1)Dan J.
Yesterday I had a hard day at work and knew that there was only one thing that would make all things better, Mexican food! This is my second time to La Fuente, i wanted to go a few items before i reviewed. This is a pretty standard small town Mexican/American joint. Everything is smothered in cheddar cheese and drowned in sauce. Burritos are good shredded beef is heaped on and tender but as soon as you get way from the simple things it gets gross. I ordered a chalupa and a chili relleno. The chalupa's shell was pretty flat and soggy and the relleno (my fave Mex dish) was unacceptable. It tasted like burned egg with canned peppers and possibly jack cheese. They decided to go the easy route and make an omelette out of a stuffed pepper dish. I'm used to getting a fresh pepper that has been dipped in a fluffy egg batter filled with gooey cheese. Not sure what this was. I was raised on real Mexican food and no matter how much cheese and salt you cover your food in there is no substitute doing it right and using fresh ingredients. There are plenty of other choices just block away so dont waste your money here. Dan

I have been going here since I was 9 years old with my family! I really enjoy this restaurant and how friendly the Sahagun family is! They are always smiling and make the experience that much better. Every time I come here they are happy to make accommodations to ensure that their customers have a pleasurable and authentic experience. When I come with friends I really like to split the fajitas with extra tortillas, it's the perfect amount of food! I'm not sure if they still do it, but one of my favorite things about coming here when I was younger was: wearing the sombrero and the staff taking a Polaroid picture for you to take home!! When I was younger my mom loved the salsa so much that she would order a large to-go container of their salsa, which I also love! It has stayed the same delicious taste since I was younger. This will always be a home town favorite!
(5)Steve C.
Fantastic! Some of the best Mexican food I've had in Washington. For starters, the chips and salsa were top notch. The salsa was super fresh and had great spice, and the chips were toasty warm. The enchiladas were stuffed full with goods. The pork was cooked just right and the melted cheese topped it off. The rice and beans were standard but plentiful. The prices were reasonable and staff was super friendly. A hidden gem in Renton.
(4)Terry L.
IF you like your very basic American Mexican food that is bland & very un-fresh, this is your place. Plus $14.00 for a basic plate & $18.00 for a lame shrimp plate is way too much. On the good side, they have excellent cold Dos XX beer on tap for like $3.50 on happy hour.
(1)Kelly C.
One of the best Mexican restaurants in the area -- really fresh ingredients and fast service. Everyone here is super friendly and makes you feel like you're at home. You'll fill up on the chips and salsa before your meal comes, so be ready to take half your burrito home (which makes for awesome leftovers.) If you want REALLY good Mexican food, you'll probably want to head into Seattle, but this place is way better than any "Chain" restaurant you'll find near the malls. Definitely one of our go-to's for date night.
(4)Matthias B.
Where do I begin? It's my birthday and I want to try something new ( our favorite Mexican restaurant has changed owners and gone down hill ), so after reading reviews on yelp and other sights, I decided on this place. Chips and salsa... Not impressed... So I ordered pollo ala crema, a very simple dish that is the same everywhere. It came out and just by the first impression, no good. There were about ten small pieces of chicken drowning in a runny pink sauce. This dish everywhere else comes with vegetables ie: mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, and carrots, this had none. So I grab a tortilla and put in two pieces of chicken, beans and some rice. After the first bite I noticed it tasted a little funky, and soon realized that the sauce tasted like the plastic bag it came out of which in turn made the chicken taste the same... My wife tried it and couldn't even keep it in her mouth. Well here it is 12 hrs later and can I just say that Moctezuma is having his revenge! The margaritas were good, but we will never be back.
(1)Tiffany G.
Best Mexican restaurant in renton. Food is consistently good, fresh, and they give you huge portions for your money. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Authentic, family ran Mexican restaurant with excellent food and service.
(5)Monica R.
Holy crap, the portions are huge. Food was good, and my husband absolutely loved the chile rellenos. One thing to mention was that the parking was absolutely crazy when we went! People were camped out for awhile looking for parking spaces to open up. I guess it's because of the other restaurants in the same shopping strip, and it was also the height of the dinner rush. Be prepared to either park at your own risk at the auto supply store next door (there's a sign that they tow) or get ready to stalk some customers as they're heading to their cars. One more thing to mention, and this one is just for the ladies. They have two stalls in their women's bathroom and the one on the right is SO low to the ground. Fine for me since I'm only 5'1, but if you've got some height on you, wait for the stall on the left.
(4)Laurel S.
I'm so disappointed. I've been going here since I was 16 (20 years) and the food has always been good. However, the way they treated my friend today was unbelievable and makes me very sad. This is our regular spot. We both go there a lot! But she goes much more frequently with her family than I do. She's even told me she doesn't like Mexican food anywhere else. She even knows everyone by name and has conversations with them every time we go in. Today, they acted like she planted the hair her daughter found in her food. Our waiter basically knocked it to the ground and said it was a thread off a shirt. And refused to either give her daughter a new plate or take it off the bill. She then asked to speak to the owner and was told he had left. Even though she saw him hiding in the back. She's been a very loyal customer for over a decade and they treated her like she was trying to get her lunch for free. I know her very well and know she's an honest person. I can't believe they treated my friend that way, and unfortunately it means we will both be finding a new lunch spot in the future.
(1)Logan S.
This was my first time at La Fuente although I went with a group who has been going every Saturday night for years...I can definitely see why! The service was prompt and very friendly, my chicken chimichanga was delicious, the portions were large, and my strawberry daiquiri strong while still being tasty. A great little Mexican restaurant and bar.
(4)Cyndi C.
I know it's not authentic, but I would say this is the restaurant I would go to when I am looking for a Mexican restaurant.. Nothing like the restaurants that we find in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico, but I like the casual atmosphere, the waiters, and the food. This restaurant has been in its present location for as long as I can remember and it wasn't until recently that we stopped in and gave it a shot. We will definitely go again.
(4)Gina Q.
Came here with our family of 7 on a Saturday night and it wasn't terribly busy. Even with all 5 of our boys, we didn't order that much and they ordered off of the kids menu. The food was ok, wasn't bad, wasn't phenomenal either. But the service was absolutely terrible! It took us forever to order, bring our food, and then to finally get our check. Disappointed and if we do come back, it will not be with the entire family.
(3)Emily D.
One of THE gems in the Renton highlands for sure! My family has been going here my whole life. I went to school with the grandkids of the owners - this place is family owned and operated, delicious food, great value and amazing service. .
(5)Brandon C.
I have been coming here for 20 years and have yet to find a better sit down Mexican restaurant. The food, the service, the quickness on how they get it out, the chips and salsa. All is unreal! So very good.
(5)Vanna P.
This is usually our go to mexican restaurant. The free chips and salsa is delicious and they always ask if you would like refills and the food portions are large for good prices! I always pack leftovers because I can never finish my dish! I like going here with my family and the service is great.
(4)Maryd5231 ..
My family and I have been coming here for years and years and it's always great! Fast, friendly service, warm and crispy chips with fantastically spicy and flavorful salsa, it's all good. When we go out to eat in Renton, we only go here and Vince's. We even regularly buy large containers of their house - made salsa to keep at home. We love La Fuente! Don't ever change!
(5)Mike W.
Good Food, you really cant complain about them. Amazing Margaritas!!!
(4)Rachelle C.
Love their Taco Tuesdays! $1 Taco's every Tuesdays at their bar and all you can eat chips with salsa. I recommend the shredded beef. They also have happy hour Tuesday Margarita's for Ladies. Love this place! Thank-you to Carlos and his family for always taking care of us.
(5)Terrie T.
When we lived in Washington, this was our place to go for Mexican food. Since we moved to SoCal, we've learned what real Mexican food tastes like. We met friends here for dinner. The margaritas are good, and large. The chips were nice and fresh. Everything else was OK. Not great, not bad. Will I go back? Probably. It's a good place to meet friends and have some good drinks and snacks.
(3)Cynthia S.
This place is fantastic!! We walked in, were immediately greeted then seated. The four of us each ordered a separate dish...chiles rellenos, fish tacos, carne asada and chicken enchiladas in a mole sauce. We started off with chips and delicious . homemade salsa. All of our dishes arrived HOT and delicious. The service was super. We will return.
(5)Stephanie A.
This is the only place I go for great Mexican food! I cringe when anyone I know wants to go somewhere else and usually convince them to try La Fuente! Love their chips...tip, always order pico de gallo in addition to the salsa. Fajitas are a favorite here and the shrimp enchiladas! I've never really had anything here I didn't like and service is fast and great! Whenever we go here we leave happy and probably too full!
(5)Smart Shopper P.
One of my favorite places to go. The tortilla soup is amazing! I'm typically not a fan but theirs perfect. The staff is always so kind and you can tell the patrons are usually all repeat customers. Everything I've had here is good.
(5)Jesse B.
Great food and nice staff. My wife and I went for her birthday the other day and she got the sombrero and a shot of some unnamed alcohol. I'm guessing if you are underaged you would get something else on your birthday ;) Anyways, the fajitas are great and they have a decent vegetarian menu as well. We will be coming back here when we are craving Mexican food!
(5)Kyle F.
The style fits a stereotypical Mexican restaurant. The prices and quality were both excellent, but still generic. All of the employees were polite and we received an appropriate amount of attention and it is hard to keep my Diet Coke full. Overall the genericness of the style and food lead to my 3 star rating. La Fuente is a well run restaurant - you know exactly what you will get!
(3)Jennifer O.
We met our friends that our regulars here every Saturday. So our wait service was very good. Had an Espresso Burrito with Ground Beef and it was tasty. My husband had a Combo Platter and enjoyed it too. The prices are okay. This is a nice family place.
(3)Misty N.
Delicious hot food that is served super speedy with a smile every time! Everything our group had was great! I loved their Sangria as well! Very tasty!
(5)René F.
I've eaten here from time to time over the years and have never been disappointed. My youngest just turned 21 and I asked her where she would like to go for dinner. "La Fuente and I want a margarita!" We had a wonderful time, the food was excellent and my daughter had a peach margarita! I love their chips and the salsa is awesome! I really enjoyed the Pollo La Fuente, chicken sauteed in a cream sauce with green peppers, onions, mushrooms and cheese. And as others here have mentioned, the portions are large. Our server was the best. He took great care of us! I look forward to coming back.
(4)Trisha A.
Service is AMAZING!!! Our water glasses, salsa, and chips were never empty!?! As soon as they got low, a water pitcher appeared out of no where or another bowl of salsa and basket of chips appeared. This is the only restaurant where I don't have to ask for more water and wait to eat until it is refilled. This trip we came with my parents. My dad HATES Mexican food...but he came because this is one of my mom's favorite restaurants. He ordered a burger and fries, but LOVED the chips and salsa! He loved it so much he bought some to go. If you need a FAST yummy meal, you must try this place! The wait is never long even if there are no tables when you get there. Since they turn the tables over so fast you will not have to wait long. So far everything we have tried is yummy and hot! Oh, I almost forgot. I dislike coleslaw....but their coleslaw is YUMMY!!! It tastes like Japanese pickled cabbage with some heat!!! Yummy!!!
(5)Jessica L.
Yayyyy!! A mexican restaurant with decent tamales! Portions are huge... Tastes are pretty authentic. Everything was very well seasoned from their beans to the red sauce. Definitely pretty good if you're ever stuck in Renton.... ehhhh
(3)Sarah L.
So after moving from Wenatchee to Seattle this past Spring I was in desperate need of quality Mexican food. I was in love with La Fuente Mexican Restaurant in Wenatchee and after moving to Seattle and realizing the brothers had also opened a La Fuente restaurant in Renton I knew I had to try it. This was actually the first restaurant, so I was disappointed that it wasn't as good as its Wenatchee cousin. The food was not quite as good, the service wasn't the same overly friendly charm as in Wenatchee and the Renton restaurant lacked the lively ambiance the Wenatchee version over delivered. But of course the food was still delicious and if II would probably visit often.
(4)Duncan F.
Food is good. We got the fajitas. Service is average. Our server seemed rush and not motivated. It seemed a bit overpriced. $57 for 2 people.
(3)Kristina W.
I love this place! Great service, wonderful food, and you can't beat their margaritas!
(5)Elizabeth W.
This is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant in King County. I grew up in California and typically have high expectations for Mexican cuisine. La Fuente has never disappointed me. The food is fantastic, service is quick and staff is friendly. The fish tacos, tacos al carbon and flank steak are our favorite dishes.
(5)Carol B.
So, if you're ever in Renton, WA and hungry and decide to stop and try La Fuente on NE Sunset...uh, keep driving....I'm just sayin'...it'll make a turd, but it doesn't live up to it's 4 star Yelp rating, or the people who've eaten there and reviewed it so highly, have never eaten "good" Mexican food. First, the place is dark. I mean, you can barely read the menu dark. It also means you can't see if the flatware is clean, or even the tables. They need more lighting in the worst way. The atmosphere, well, I can only say, that couth must be at a premium in Renton. The 3-some behind us was loud, the 3-some across from us was loud, vulgar and rude. The food is meh. My husband gauges a Mexican place on its ability to make an authentic chile rellano. This was NOT. Too much egg, small pepper and very little cheese. The tamale was tasty, but the masa layer was way too thick. I don't like how most Mexican places bury a taco on the plate w/ the beans or rice so that by the time you pick it up, the shell is soggy. This standard was maintained. I noticed as soon as my plate was set down and moved my taco immediately, saving it from destruction. It was good, I will give them that, but the cheese had a funny smell. 2 hours after eating, I have done nothing but burp and my stomach is rumbling. I am not looking forward to the rest of the evening. We will not return to this particular spot.
(1)Paul B.
(5)Elena M.

(5)Vanessa H.

Not sure why this place gets so many stars. It's like eating tacos from a middle school lunch. Gross. Go across the street and get some authentic tacos for $1.20

(1)Ben J.
The food was ok, but very expensive for the quality. I've had better food from a taco truck at half the price. The restaurant was very dimly lit when we went, I could hardly see my food. The waiter was ok. Again, not horrible, but there are better restaurants close by with better food at a better price and atmosphere.
(2)Hope N.

(4)Nicholas C.
(4)Theresa H.
(5)C. C.
My bf thinks it's amazing! Great value for what you get. Also the servers are so sweet!
(4)Mike M.
Great food, and lots of it for a great price. Try the seafood, outstanding.
(5)Alyssa C.
(5)Craig J.
(4)Philip K.
(5)Nariman S.
(5)Kenton O.
Fast service, decent food. Would certainly recommend to a friend.
(4)Amy M.
Ciao!
(4)J G.

If you love Cheese you will love this place! everything has a lb. of cheese! Salsa is yummy. Service is friendly. Could be cleaner and better cheese free options for us that have a love hate relationship with dairy. My family loves this place and they are very accommodating for large parties and children.

Average Mexican Restaurant. I eat Mexican food frequently and their menu options and prices are very typical. Good service. I go there twice a year because I get 2 coupons in the Entertainment Guide.

We call this place The Crack House... The salsa is like crack! Traveled far and wide and tried salsa over the country, but this is the best. The food is good and the service is always friendly, but we could have chips & salsa for dinner and we would be just fine!!

A local favorite, busy any time of any day. Consistently delicious food and relatively good service. The first time we ate here was the day we moved to the Renton Highlands -- 15 years ago! We eat here weekly, as you can count on a good quick meal from a menu with something for everybody,

Have lived in Bay area in Cali the past 4 years, have had great Mexican food in Cali, AZ, TX, and also in Mexico. To this day, I still always have to compare all of them to La Fuente. Still #1 in my book!

This is probably my favorite Mexican Restaurant in Renton. I live in the general vicinity, so I have been here often. The food is great, the portions are huge and the staff is always very friendly! I totally recommend the tortilla soup. It's delish.

Eh... this place is ok.

I've been coming here since before I could talk and I've never been disappointed. The staff is amazing and I've loved everything I've tried!

Been here many times over the past 5 years or so, & it's the BOMB! They have awesome FAST service & my favorite here is their Arros Con Pollos, mmmmm! Makes me hungry just thinking about it...

My son had the kids chicken strips for dinner today. He has been throwing up ever since. Someone needs to clean their kitchen. We won't be back.

This restaurant has the classic Mexican menu. Food is very good. Generous portions. Great service. Very attentive wait staff. Our family goes here often. Can get busy though, so prepare for that on weekends.
