This place is pretty good! If I'm ever in Renton and looking for my fro yo fix, this is my go-to joint. They have a bunch of great flavors and the yogurt is creamy and smooth (not gritty & bitter like other places I've been). They have a GRIP of toppings to chose from as well; including all the sauces you can think of - wait, maybe not marshmallow fluff, but I could be wrong. Anyhow, I digress... The seating is a little strange here - it's not the most inviting. I didn't get the vibe of hey, get your yogurt and stay awhile but the store isn't that big so maybe that's not what they'er going for.

It's a bit smaller than the other store in Covington and they also do not have the variety of flavors as the Covington store does. However, thy both sell milkshakes but the Renton store offers food like Banh Mi etc... Thy don't have the array of toppings either, but it is a smaller store. If you want froyo and you're in the area then head on over. But if you have a choice between this Cherry De Pon or the other froyo options then I'd head there instead. Unless they are the ones where the people have the froyo dispensers behind them, then don't go to those.... I hate the non-do it yourself places. Takes the fun out of the whole thing. This is like a mini froyo place just to get your fix, but I do prefer my endless options of froyo flavors and toppings.

The store was really dirty (napkins all over the floor, chairs scattered around) and only had a few working flavor machines (two had signs indicating they were not working). We had been here before about a year ago and had a much different experience so I am hoping this was a fluke or off day with new employees. We ended up leaving and going to another fro yo location nearby. I probably won't be here again.

Limited on flavors, but better than the other Froyo places in Renton. The location is a bit far from everything and it is tucked away in the corner of a strip mall. I like this place, its a go to when you crave a midnight sweet. There isn't enough seating here though, other than that I do enjoy the sweet treat.

Stopped by here to grab a quick snack because my brother was craving fro-yo and this was the nearest place that pulled up on Yelp. As you walk in, it's just like any other self-serve fro-yo joint. There were about 10 yogurt flavors and there weren't any sample cups around and I didn't bother asking, so I just went for my regular flavor (mango) and lychee. The toppings bar was pretty standard as well. The yogurt itself however, was way too icy and a little to sweet for my taste. There are definitely better fro-yo places out there, including the bigger franchises. The place seemed nice and clean and the worker was friendly but I wouldn't come back unless I was dying to have fro-yo and I had no other choice.

OMG, the bathroom was a mess. Those dam low-flow toilets should be banned for public usage. This is the kind of place where there is no excuse to run out of TP or not have time to check the bathroom (because you only have to ring people up and do basic things). The pumpkin yogurt was delish. Overall, this place has lost its newness and now has a dingy layer to it. Service was pretty basic.

It was a beautiful day out and I have been craving frozen yogurt. I got the taro and lychee frozen yogurt, with cherries, mochi, kiwi, strawberries, and boba. I should've gotten the bigger cup. This place is clean, cozy, with big couches. They have great flavors and toppings. There is no air conditioner and no fan inside. Despite the store being humid, there were plenty of tables and chairs outside. I didn't like that you had to ask for sample cups at the register, which proved to be difficult if someone is putting there toppings on. Overall this place was great because they had taro and lychee. I will be back...

Heads up, they do not have ice cream. The yogurt was disappointing at best. Will not be here again.

  • Sukanvisa P.

I've been there couple times but this is going to be my last. Tasted not bad but my girlfriend and I went in the other day and noticed that there was hair in one of their topping selections. The Original Tart flavor had this old taste to it. It was not worth 7$ we spent. If you are looking for a great FroYo place. I recommend you Yogurtland or even shnoo at the landing.

    (2)
  • Gina B.

They need to just change the fact about ice cream. They do NOT have ICE cream as they advertise on yelp, quick change will help patrons not go out of their way to come inside and find out you don't have I've cream just yogurt and smoothies. Thank you

I've tried my fair share of frozen yogurt bars, and this one was kind of disappointing. They did have interesting yogurt flavors and a lot of sauce options, including unusual ones like green apple. There was a decent selection of toppings, and I really liked the green tea jellies. On the other hand, the Kit-Kats and chocolate covered raisins were completely stale. They didn't have hot fudge, and the texture of the yogurt was watery and icy. It was also unpleasant eating frozen yogurt in such a cold shop. I'd suggest going somewhere else, like Yeti Yogurt.

  • Michelle S.

I've been to many froyo place and this is on the bottom of my list. The yogurt consistency is different, toppings are old...fruits alike. No mochi! Say what?! Not coming back. Gave it 2 or 3 tries. No go for me. Oh and no sample cups?? :(

  • Janet T.

The BEST thing to get here is their taro froyo! It is seriously so delicious. This sweet, creamy flavor will have you hooked. There are lots of toppings to choose from and the overall price is fairly inexpensive! These five stars are mainly for the taro! Definitely a must have

    (5)
  • Acacia W.

I unfortunately didn't get the chance to try their yoghurt due to the fact they closed at 9PM because of a paper they stuck onto their hours, rather than the 10PM they had advertised on their websites.

    (1)
  • Sarah R.

Cherry de Pon charges by weight, which is what I like! They have a variety of froyo to choose from as well as a massive selection of toppings. I have even seen one flavor that was lactose free which got me excited because I am lactose intolerant lol! Also, this place sells bubble tea :) They have some seating so you can hang out if you'd like.

This fro-yo place rates high in my books for their lychee and taro flavor! Right amount of sweetness, and fruityness. For original.. i still prefer red mango! mmm I'm not sure if i'm a big fan of them writing that they are low-fat, or non-fat. Cause I'm sure its still loaded with sugar fatness.. but thats a different critique all on its own. Place is cute and bright, and its a corner store with ceiling to floor windows. The service is super friendly... but I don't like their stamp system at alllll... one stamp.. only if you've purchased more than $5 worth of yogurt. How can we know? Why not do a $2.50 and a $5 just to be fair? *i frown upon their current stamp system* But yes.. I can imagine myself craving for lychee and taro, cherry de pon froyo when craving something sweet an light :)

I am a sucker for ice cream in the summer. Since my metabolism walked out on me I am constantly looking for alternatives such as frozen yogurt. Cherry de Pon has filled that void. This super cute frozen yogurt store is catty corner from Uwajimaya so parking is plentiful. Inside it truly is whimsical. There's a variety of fun seats to relax in while music videos and movies play silently on the televisions. This is a self serve frozen yogurt restaurant where you pay by the weight of your cup. There's three sizes - normal, large, and tub. That's not their official names. There's even sample cups where you can try a flavor or two. They're constantly rotating their flavors but each are so tasty and clearly marked if it has a potential food allergen. There's always one dairy free and at least one sugar free. After you select your yogurt you have a wide variety of toppings from fruit to cereal and everything in between as well as syrups. Really this place is worth the visit!

  • Cindy L.

I've been here a few times with my family and we've enjoyed everything that we get here. I love how every time we come here, there's always a variety of toppings to choose from. There are different toppings every time. The only bad thing is that they should upgrade on a variety of their yogurt flavors. Also, the area is a little cooped up from everything else so its not very noticeable. The seating arrangements are quite weird because they have small tables and chairs. I'm hoping that you guys could renovate and expand the business because I do love the yogurt here.

  • Michael T.

Nice little place tucked away near the uwajima market in Renton. I took my wife here when some plans changed and our afternoon opened up. We noticed they have a rotating schedule for their flavors, and had a great selection to choose from. Everything we tried was good - and we tried almost everything. Best part is it doesn't cost an arm and a leg! I recommend for sure!

  • Alanna M.

Inexpensive froyo in the south end. Self serve. The flavor choices vary depending on the day. They have decent toppings but some of the fruit toppings could be more fresh. They keep the establishment fairly clean which is a plus. If you are a froyo snob, this probably won't cut it for you, but if you are just looking to grab some froyo for a couple of kids then it's cheap so a sweet deal.

    (4)
  • Jaymee M.

Let me start off by saying that this review is for the smoothies only. I love the frozen yogurt. I usually frequent the Everett Location however. I came in today for a quick smoothie. It was HORRIBLE. The first red flag for me should have been when she pulled out the bananas and they were freezer burned. UM! The entire thing had no taste to it and was just icy and thick. I had to get out a spoon and attempt to "eat" some of it. I got to a strawberry and it was freezer burned and white. So gross. For $5 and only 16 oz I expect so much better. I will not be having another smoothie from them ever again.

  • Audrey N.

My friends have worked here before so it was always a stop for me to come by and get froyo. They do have pretty good flavors, I'll give them that. They keep their area for lounging around pretty clean, but as of their froyo station can be a mess. You got oreo and fruit in one place, and another condiment in another bin. Froyo spills don't get cleaned either? :(( Only down to the place is the cleanliness of the stations. The took down their food options, but it's still up on their menu for everyone to see, which should be updated. Their avocado bubble tea is good, as for other teas, it can be too sweet and flavors are limited. Overall, menu is not up to date ...

I frequent Cherry de Pön about once every few months, usually for small occasions and times that I just need a sweet treat. I've come through during a variety of weathers, from cold and rainy December days to hot June days; for birthdays and for celebrations. I feel that every time I come here I get constant, stable, and enjoyable service. I love the variety of flavors offered here, including the regular chocolate and vanilla flavors to the more crazy cake batter and guava flavors. I come in here with a smile and I leave with a bigger smile, especially because of how relatively cheap the cost is. Because it's measured by weight, you get a well-scaled price depending on how much you get. Even when loading down on frozen yogurt and toppings, you still get away with a price that doesn't kill your wallet. I would recommend Cherry de Pön for frozen yogurt in Renton.

  • Louie C.

We haven't been to this place in a while because it seems to be in a downward spiral. The yogurt isn't creamy anymore, it's icy and sometimes watery now. The flavor rotations also aren't that varied anymore. It's like they took whatever we loved about this place and destroyed it. Some of the employees we've come to befriend aren't even there anymore... and they were the ones who always left the place clean. It's really too bad.

  • Ellie P.

Went here just two days ago. The shop was very clean and the service was friendly. I love that they charge by weight, my two little ones don't eat a full small cup of yogurt! I think the yogurt flavor and consistency is on par with what I've had at other frozen yogurt shops. The furniture choices leave me somewhat baffled. There's an aged and slightly dirty sectional couch in pieces around the shop. There are also chairs at what seem to be sofa end tables. (There's no room for your knees!) I would also be nice if they had a couple high chairs. Eating frozen yogurt with a 20 month old on your lap is not easy.

The name is such a tease don't you think? It lures you in for froyo but it's so deceiving how it tastes! Unfortunately, I think this place sucks. Something about me, is that I am very very picky about my froyo. Why? I think that plain tart is the BEST flavor ever created and nothing beats it. YET, I know what good froyo is & I like to try all sorts of flavors just to try and make sure the quality is as good as it looks. Well, for this location, it is located neighboring a nail salon, sushi, and Vietnamese food. We entered and I enjoyed the decor as my eyes wandered. There are 2 different froyo sizes I believe. I get a few sample cups to try... and to my surprise, the flavors sucked. I tried almost all of them. The pistachio, vanilla, tart, even the lychee (to name a few). Sad to say, the lychee was probably the closest thing to great. I even tried the plain tart and was so shocked at how watered down it tasted, and how un-refreshing it was. It was hardly tart, and it didn't have the same thick texture froyo usually has. I was very disappointed. I went ahead and got half lychee and half tart (since I'm so picky about my flavors). They have the buffet bar for toppings which include the same variations you'd find elsewhere, including nuts, fruits, chocolates, candies, caramel, etc. I believe they charge .39 cents an ounce, which is pretty sweet deals. But unfortunately, the froyo was nasty. Not enough flavor, texture was lacking, quality wasn't there and it wasn't what I expected. The decor and cleanliness will fool ya!

  • Brian S.

No I'm not regular. Cherry is a very nice Frozen Yogurt Place which lets you chose your cup size to fit your appetite and budget. The staff are friendly and Yogurt was Good as the chain with M in its name but it costs about half the price. So I'm a Fan.

    (4)
  • Lauren M.

I had to stop going to Cherry de Pon when the staff started recognizing me as a regular. Whenever a friend in this area asks "where can I get good froyo around here?" I always recommend CdP. I'd like it if they carried more than one dairy free flavor at a time, but I understand that they're less popular. I usually get whatever dairy free flavor is available, plus a little bit of the low or no sugar options (love that they have a range of options like that.) It's also great that if you are craving a certain flavor, they will add it to the rotation so it will probably be there next time you come in. Favorite toppings are the huge selection of fresh fruit and the mochi.

  • Shelly B.

So ... The germophobe in me hates this place. I can't help but think of all the rancid germs infesting the yogurt handles, sauce bottles and various condiment spoons. And, had I not had monkeys in tow after promising them a froyo treat, I probably would have walked out. Germophobe aside, the yogurt was good, and the variety was nice. Nice to have the option of mixing many different flavors. The atmosphere was a tad over stimulating with 3 tv screens all playing something different. Service was fine, but nothing memorable.

  • Kelly M.

I can be so darn picky about frozen yogurt but you know what, this place isn't too bad. The decor is kinda fun and bright. The selection of flavors was nice, I personally jumped for joy when I saw lychee. Customer service was good as well, she greeted me as I walked in and was friendly throughout my visit. The place is a bit small and it could use some more lighting. I don't know why I felt a little eerie because it was really quiet. Even with the other customers chatting away in their group, I just felt like it was a little too quiet. Maybe they could play some kind of music to give it an upbeat environment. Just my two cents. I got the lychee and taro frozen yogurt with some mango pieces. Lychee, good. Taro, way too sweet. Mango, too hard and sour. I understand mango has a tart flavor but what I got was too sour to be a topping for froyo. I wasn't a fan there and regretted not sticking to my usual strawberries and mochi. Overall, it was okay. Nice addition after a meal at Genki.

  • Kim B.

First yogurt place I've been to that weighs your selection. I'm usually a small portion kind of gal and feel ripped off by franchises. This place charges you for what you get. That's awesome. Great indoor space but even better outdoor seating for those warm summer nights.

    (4)
  • Dana M.

came in here on a friday and two of their machines were down. I still love their flavors, but wish I didn't make the drive out for 4-6 different flavor selections.. one customer came in and walked right out because they didn't have very many choices... their lynnwood location has sooo many more selections...I wish the renton one was the same.

    (4)
  • Jenna D.

I almost gave this place a 5, but I have one complaint: I always find my new favorite flavor, and the next time I come here, they don't have it. However, they always have good flavors. The employees are nice and helpful. The prices are lower than some other frozen yogurt places.

    (4)
  • Vi P.

I'm honestly not too huge a fan of this place. They have less flavors than Yogurtland and it's almost impossible to even sample taste them if it's busy. There's a huge line for the register during rush hours and everyone blocks the machines so it's difficult to give any a taste before buying. There's also half as many toppings as Yogurtland provides which is also a downfall. Every time I've visited here, there's only been one worker so I don't blame them if it's messy or slow on service. I would normally prefer to go to another frozen yogurt place, but if I'm feeling lazy and want something near home, this place passes.

    (3)
  • Richard P.

Mmmmmm! Low Fat Yogurt with several choices....you make your amount then add toppings of your choice....plus they have some choices for Vietnamese Food which was no noticeable (by smell) as the place has a clean, crisp and modern look to it....Just give it a try if you are in the area and it is worth a little drive for such a refreshing treat.

  • Tony Y.

A solid serve yourself froyo joint close to my new home. The flavors are pretty good and they have a nice asssortment of toppings. The price is not to shabby , a little better than Menchies in that department. We will likely be back when we have a froyo craving.

    (4)
  • Rudette Lariza B.

This is the closest froyo spot to our new place, so I was looking forward to it after hearing they a large menu of flavors. I don't know if it was just that specific day, but there were only 4 flavors available... And unfortunately they ran out of the pineapple. Then again, it was one of the hottest days in May... and it IS a popular flavor. Their froyo station was a mess... Spills on the tray and the floor. Granted, there was only one employee. It didn't help that she had a group of friends there hanging out -- so she was more attentive to them instead of the customers who came in. Her friends were there when we came in, and still there when we left. The tables and the chairs were sticky... I can only assume it was because of spills by children who've came in earlier. Maybe the next time I come, I'll have a more pleasent visit... Until then, I can only give 3 stars.

I've only been here a handful of times with my niece & nephew, but each time it was a great experience! Will definitely go again. :)

  • Belle S.

Had a horrible experience here. The service was terrible. There was no one in the shop and it was not busy whatsoever and the cashier was stomping around slamming things down clearly frustrated about something. Then as I received my drink I put the straw in a there was a hole In the cup spilling the drink everywhere. Instead of helping me the cashier takes the drink chucks it in the trash and continues to slam everything down. Then to top it off as she hands me the drink, has the nerve point out that I was the one who broke the cup and that was why it was spilling everywhere, because apparently when she made it there wasn't a hole. Let's talk about excellent Customer service. She could have clearly just made me another drink and been done with it. I will never come here again and the drink I got wasn't even worth it for the extremely poor experience Iv had here. Not worth it AT ALL. Businesses can only go soooo far with poor customer service.

  • Sandie L.

Fro-yo, bobba tea, smoothies... what's not to like! I've been here twice now, and have had a great experience both times. I like the self-serve options, daily rotating flavours which also includes non-fat in some of their choices. I am not a toppings kind of girl, so I cannot comment on that part... but it appears they have the usual treats and will even let you try some samples for some interesting toppings that I've never seen before --- like a mango flavored "bubble" that bursts in your mouth... odd. Decor is fun and bright. I like the location too, in a strip outdoor mall with lots of asian treats nearby.

  • Kay N.

I think its because I am spoiled by Yogurt-Land. Plus: exotic flavors grab your own yogurt pay by the ounce Location nice atmosphere serves other things besides yogurt Negative tastes okay.. had better I got the white chocolate chip Macadamia nut flavor...never again limited toppings compared to Yogurtland 5 dollar or less=charged extra fee on your card

    Loved the taro frozen yogurt!

  • Belle B.

I am in LOVE! I came when they first opened and was thoroughly impressed with how this establishment was run by staff and the entire set up of the business. I stopped in again this past weekend and I am so happy that others are discovering this gem because they deserve the success and recognition! They continue to grow and come up with new and different ideas that separate themselves from the other fro yo joints. I love that they switch their frozen yogurt options weekly so that there is always something new. Their topping options are spot on and the fact they have added the bursting bubbles adds extra points! As far as atmosphere is concerned I could literally spend hours in here (oh wait, I DID!) the couch and comfy chairs, the music videos, the slide show of other patrons, and not to mention the overall friendliness from the staff it really can't get any better :) I LOVE CHERRY DE PON!

    (5)
  • Midge C.

Not a big fan of this place. I couldn't really figure out their decor. Were they going for a "club" look, or a lounge, or.....what? It was kind of dirty and messy. Also, the employees put ONE SONG on repeat the entire 20 minutes we were there. They were also grubbing on froyo. The froyo was ok, but the topping selection could have been better. I'm not expecting amazing service at a froyo place, but jeez!

  • Alvin N.

I needed to grab a couple items at Renton Uwajimaya & was craving a nice cool treat and saw a waving Grand Opening sign less than 100 feet away for Cherry de Pon! It was meant to be, Frozen Yogurt goodness :D I counted 10 different flavors @ 39 cents /oz. Check out the Taro Flavor, it's my Favorite!! Lots of topping choices! Self Serve, which makes it fun! Don't be afraid to ask for a sample!! Cherry de Pon also serves Frozen Smoothies and de Pon sandwiches! Nice place to enjoy dessert! Owners are Super Friendly Yay! I'm a fan. Check them out!! =) ***They are offering 20% Off for Grand Openingl :)

  • Juliet N.

I walked by this place on a whim today searching for dessert. Thought to myself.. hmmm yet another yogurt place, but it's so sunny and warm lets try it. Boy was I pleasantly surprised. (It's only been open a month) They have a wall of self serve flavors that they change out every 5 weeks based on customer request. You pick up a cup and can mix and match as many flavors as you want. For myself I choose Pomegranate Raspberry and a Mango mix. Then you move towards the toppings. Unlike Red Mango or Ce Foire You can have as many toppings as you want. At the end you're cost is based on the weight... and at 39 cents an oz you can get as little or as much as you want. By far the cost far surpassed the other yogurt places and the flavors for the yogurts were sooo good. I'll be back for sure!!

    (5)
  • Sonya L.

I am going to be kind and bump my rating up a star. I came back here in on Monday with a real desire for froyo and, since it's really the only place in the area besides Red Mango, I had no other choice. I tried different flavors this time around - cookies and cream and birthday cake - and they were less icy than the flavors I previously had. Granted, the flavors were still very mild and bland, but they were overall better than what I had before. The staff is very sweet and they will ask you what toppings or flavors you are interested in so that they can add them into their rotation. Still not the best frozen yogurt around, but it works in a pinch.

  • Sarah F.

Great, friendly, delicious place! Pros? -REALLY helpful and friendly employees -Open atmosphere with lots of modern seating and tables -Delicious froyo, not too sweet, lots of rotating flavors -Lots of options for toppings -It's a self serve place, which means all the kinds of yogurts and toppings you want, in just the right portions for you (cost depends on weight) Cons? -It might be more healthy than icecream, but you'll still get addicted just as badly.

  • Vincent L.

I give this place 5 stars because: 1. Taro froyo was EXCELLENT! Their toppings are fresh. 2. The place is bright and clean 3. Service is great 4. Your froyo is charged by the ounce and it is cheaper then other places. That is all. Give this place a try if you haven't been here before. I recommend it!

  • Nancy C.

Quite impressed. So we needed a new place to get my fiances froyo fixin' in. The one next to pho hoa has disappointed us greatly (the yogurt n pho place itself. It wasnt the food, it was the service = break time away from them) Anyways, we decided to try this place which was closer to home. They had the option to try their different flavors. There wasnt as much of a selection as yogurtland but it sure had more than pho hoa next door (idk name). My fiance fell in love with their taro. So we end up with his share of a split cali tart and taro mixture with no topping and myself, the vanilla one with mochi (boring right?) The cost was a bit more than the pho joint for a lesser amount as well. They have stamp cards available. A stamp for every 5 bucks. We "fell" for their tip jar labeled something to the effects of "school tuition". While paying I saw the menu and realized milk tea was also offered. I decided to try it the next time we were there. Allow me to tell you, their regular milk tea was horrible! I asked for just regular milk tea because thats what I like and thats my base line to compare other places. So my milk tea was unappealing, it was obviously powdered form that was waaay too light in color. You can tell the "tea" content was weak by just looking at the color. 2 worst part of it all was 1) they didnt desolve the powder well enough so I had lil chunks floating that looked gross and 2) my "regular milk tea" tasted like watered down JASMINE powdered milk weak tea. So in conclusion, we will stick to the froyo. Fiance loves the tart n taro combo. He claims that once you eat one and switch to the other, the flavor kicks harder and it gives it more of an umph! Oh yeah, customer service was good. So they'll see us again, thats for sure.

Rotating great flavors and friendly staff plenty of toppings this place is great.

  • Karen D.

Cherry de Pon is my "everyday" choice for frozen yogurt because it's good, close to home, reasonably priced, has reasonable flavor and topping choices, and very friendly service. Is it my all-time favorite? No. But.... I'm so thrilled to have a good fro-yo shop in Renton! Note for chocolate addicts...the chocolate here isn't as chocolate-y as it could be (and is at other shops such as Blissberi.) But you can always make up for that by drowning your yogurt in their delicious dark chocolate sauce...:) Other favorite flavors of mine that they have are the raspberry, honey euro-tart, non-dairy orange, and coffee. It's a no-brainer to stop by here when we don't feel like driving a long distance for our frozen treats....!

  • Kimberly N.

I'm pretty sure that the California Tart has crack in it. Seriously addictive! I go out to lunch with my coworkers on occasion and they always want to go to Menchies. I went there one day after having Cherry de Pon and realized the Menchies tastes like cardboard. I'll never eat there again. Cherry has made me into a FroYo snob. I like the interior and the staff is always friendly. The fact that they play music videos is a little odd to me, but whatever, I always head home after I get my FroYo. It's definitely worth stopping by, but beware, you'll probably get addicted.

So much fun. The taro was really yummy and I love all of the toppings. You pay by weight so it was nice to get just a wee cup after dinner for a couple of bucks.

This place is a child's dream. I've been there a few times with my 3 year old son. He absolutely loves the place. There's a huge selection of different types of yogurt and a good selection of different toppings as well. We have gone here when it was busy and when it was slow and have found it to be pleasant both times. The staff seems very friendly and have been helpful when we were making our selections. Will continue to come. Who doesn't love Yogurt?

Cherry De Pon is AWESOME! I adore it! Not only are the flavors delicious but it's adorable! The décor is cute and whimsical. They have butterflies on the wall and a tv that plays fun videos. They have board games that we sometimes play (I suck at Jenga, btw! Lol) and when we walk in the girl (or guy) at the counter is super extra friendly. Another wonderful thing is it is self serve so I can decide how much yogurt I want and how much (or how little) toppings I want. I also like the fact that they have lots of different flavors and you can try them before you commit to a whole bowl! They don't only serve yogurt though! They have smoothies and Vietnamese sandwiches! I ate the most awesome tofu one! They also have spring rolls that you can have made with different meats. I think it's awesome to find a restaurant that sells tofu as a meat choice 'cause I hardly ever find one unless it's a restaurant that specializes in tofu products! The overall vibe of the place is so great. It's fun and family friendly. Also, it's a great place to go after Zumba or Sushi or even go before we do some shopping at Uwajamiya's!

my favorite local yogurt spot! ok i'm boring - i really only like the plain yogurt so their smaller selection than yogurt land really doesn't bother me, but for those who like mixing all 10 flavors together, this may not be you're spot. it's my fav bc the plain froyo is rockin and i love the asian inspired toppings. check out the banana chips - they're my fav!

This was a nice little Fro-Yo store. They didn't have a huge number of flavors, which can be nice to not be overwhelmed by the selection, but when you're used to walking into a place with 16-20 flavors, having about 10 on hand is different. Good selections of toppings here, nothing surprising. It's a nice place, but nothing out of the usual in the world of Fro-Yo.

I absolutely love coming here. The younger Asian gentleman (forgot his name) is actually a huge reason why I love going. He literally is the epitome of CUSTOMER SERVICE - fast, friendly, and helpful. On top of great customer service, their selection is good. Fruit is always fresh looking in my opinion, and my children love that there are a good assortment of candies and sweets (yeah, the unhealthy crap lol). Definitely a regular spot we go to.

First Fro-yo place in WA I've been to! I was craving froyo so my cousins shows me this place! It's really cozy and all the furniture are super cute and classy! Not a lot of kinds you can choose from, but they do change them every week I think. Free private wifi, staff are nice and patient, and the froyo is decent. They also have tapioca too! :) Would've liked it better if there was popping boba though. And way cheaper than the froyo places I go to where I live. (Cali)

I just LOOOOOOOOOOOVE this place!!! Personally, they are the best frozen yogurt place ever. I usually get a sugar-free one, but all other flavor taste great too. My favorites are Taro, Coconuts, Lychee. I like Red Mango too, but they don't have sugar-free, and TCBY has sugar-free, but it doesn't taste good. Other good thing is you can control your portion. So after grabbing sushi @ Genki, I have a small dessert here, and that make me soooo happy!

Yummy! Be careful to not get TOO much yogurt.

What a creamy delight! I love the idea of the self-serve yogurt and how they have many flavors for me to try. We went here after a gorging ourselves at Genki Sushi because they had one of those $1-sushi days, and this place hits the spot after a great meal. You can have as little or as much as you want at 39 cents an oz and that's a pretty good deal! You can tell that they put a lot of thought into decorating this place. There were butterfly decorations all over the wall, stuffed animals on the couch, and cute little plants around the tables. I don't know if guys would come out here and chill for a guys' night out, but definitely a spot to treat your date to and for girls to have a light dessert and to chit-chat. The first time I went here, I tried the mango flavor. It was light and not too sweet. The yogurt was more ice-creamy instead of the typical tart flavor. Very similar in consistency to Utopia Frozen Yogurt at the Uwajimaya in Downtown Seattle. I can't wait to try the other flavors they have here!

Mmm mmm! Fro-Yo! Cherry de Pon has delicious Fro-yo. I've been there enough times to at least take advantage of my punch card. When you enter you pick up a cup a choose from over 8 different flavors of frozen yogurt. (My favorites: pomegranate, cake batter, lychee, blueberry) You then choose toppings from a buffet bar. (I love the explody mango balls, lychee, and the gelatin colored pieces from bubble tea). They then weigh your entire product and charge you by weight. We went last night and two giant for-yos with assorted toppings came out to $10. True, it is pretty pricey for an ice cream outing but the taste is amazing. I am lactose intolerant so this in one of the only places in town I can go. The interior is family friendly and the have games you can play while you eat. A family last night was playing Jenga. They were like a creepy Disney commercial..laughing and hugging...we didn't stay. This place is definitely a once in while splurge for sweet yumminess.

Another good addition to the Uwajimaya area of downtown Renton. Lots of froyo flavors..and lots of fresh toppings. I've tried other self serve froyo places and their fruits and yogurt were either really runny, icy, or old. This place is small though so be prepared for it to be packed at certain times! The setting is super cute , reminds me of the Unicone Crepes shop that used to be open in China Town. They also serve healthy smoothies and the owners say if there's anything not on the menu that you would like to see.. they are open for suggestions If you happen to be in the downtown Renton area defintely hit this place up! PS they even have syrup toppings .. mmm!

  • Christine Y.

This place is adorable! very nice place to chill out! I love the self serve Yogurt! I can have as much or as little as I want! and add all the toppings that I want! YUMMY! sometimes a small size at other yogurt places are still too much and they don't always add enough toppings so it's really nice that I can customize my yogurt! The toppings are also and another bonus is they have syrup toppings!! I love me some caramel or butterscotch toppings! they also have chocolate and other flavors! They also change flavors every two weeks so you always have to go back so you can try them all! and they like hearing what flavors you like! Alvin N. told them he liked taro flavor so they are adding that flavor next week! I usually just enjoy plain yogurt, I almost never get flavored yogurt, but their peach mango is awesome! I'm so in love! I'm looking forward to trying their mango next week! I found my new Yogurt shop! The girls are so sweet! it's close by and has a great atmosphere and it's so close to my zumba studio I can enjoy a little reward for myself after each class and it's healthier than ice cream! They also serve other little treats like smoothies and sandwiches and they have free wifi when you feel like lounging!

I am currently writing this review at Cherry De Pon with their Free Wi-Fi that they offer here! (Such a big plus, especially if you want to enjoy your frozen yogurt while facebooking/homework/work!) My first few encounters here at Cherry de Pon was worthy of a 2 star. To their credit, it was within the first few weeks of their opening. But since then they have stepped up their game in terms of overall ambiance and food quality! They always have 10 flavors on hand, some being regular daily flavors and others being flavors they change from time to time. My favorites among the flavors are the Taro, Cookies and Cream, Original Tart and Rootbeer Float. Also, they have a pretty good selection of toppings. Among those, my favorites are all the fruits, the fruity pebbles cereal, the cheesecake bites, and this toffee crumble they have (not quite sure what it is, but it tastes good). My mom really enjoyes the Lycee and the tapioca pearls they have there too (omg my mom is too asian! lmao) As for the entire experience here, I'd give them a 5 star! Every single time that I've entered Cherry de Pon there is ALWAYS a friendly greeting of "Hello! How are you! Welcome to Cherry de Pon"... ALWAYS! As for the decorations here, I really like the pink wall of butterfly cut outs. Also the windows and the "light" feel of the space feels very refreshing and relaxing. I also really like how they play music videos on their flat screen TV! Love the vibe If there was an option for 4.5 stars I'd choose it, but the reason why it's not a 5 star is because I tried their Banh Mi (vietnamese sandwich) and it just tasted wrong. The bread wasn't toasted, the sauce had a bad after taste, and the entire sandwich didn't feel as "full" as other Banh mi sandwiches I've had before. Needless to say, I've never had their Vietnamese Sandwiches since, I only come for their delicious frozen yogurt. I'd say this place is on the same level as yogurtland, but I come here more because it's closer to my house. Compared to Menchies, I'd prefer Cherry de Pon more because it's cheaper! I believe they charge around $0.35/ounce here compared to $0.45/ounce at Menchies! In closing, I'd say come here but avoid the vietnamese sandwich!

I wanted so badly to like this place since it is so close to home and how cheap it is. Unfortunately this place is a no go for me. I am a froyo addict and I eat it very often. My absolute go to flavor is Plain Tart. However the plain tart here was just awful. The flavor was just bleh and I wasn't able to finish it. I hate wasting food especially froyo at that but I just couldn't do it. My taste buds weren't having it. The toppings selection was eh ok. The fruit wasn't very fresh and they were cut way too big and the mochi was very soggy. As I was adding my toppings the girl stood there and stared at me. And as most of you know filling up your cup can sometimes be messy. A topping will fall here and there. Every single time a topping fell she would huff and puff and pick it up as I was still standing there. I wouldn't go here again. The froyo was bad and so was the customer service. I'll just continue driving a few extra miles for some frozen yogurt.

This is a hidden gem tucked in Renton. They rotate flavors every so often, so there's likely a new flavor everytime you visit.. The flavors are more unique: such as lychee, watermelon, pumpkin, gingerbread, etc. There's lots of selections when in comes to toppings, froms fruits to sweets, as well as various containers of sprinkles to the final whipped cream and cherry on top. Along with the frozen yogurt, there's also bubble tea, warm drinks, snacks, and the occasional sandwiches. The place is wonderfully decorated with a butterfly wall to one side, and a comfortable couch with a modern decore to the other end. There some board games here that you can play with friends, as well as the free wi fi.

Delightful and comfy, this edgy little yogurt shoppe has a new fan! Nice selection of quality flavors and toppings at a very low price. Toys to keep the kids busy, wifi and couches!

the employees are very nice and high energy! they are very welcoming! the selection of yogurt is good, but wish they had pistachio all the time. if cherry de pon is reading this please add pistachio permanentantly. thanks!

I'm going to take a left turn... Yeah, they have froyo and bubble tea, are clean and polite, but who cares when there are $3 vietnamese sandwiches to be had?! And they're GOOD. Maybe not Go Deli good, but close, and super cheap. I've had all of the variants at this point and my favorite combo is to get one BBQ Pork, one Ham and Egg, then top it off with a bubble tea. Now THAT is a stomach filler, and it's only like $10.

HEART this place! The flavors are amazing! I've been there twice just this past week! Mixing the flavors and choosing the toppings...shooooo nomnom! Favorite combo (so far): Taro + Cheesecake Flavor w/ Mango Juice pods & Mochi peices. Can't get enough! I used to go to ColdStone Creamery every Saturday as a treat-myself-day thing. Now I go to Cherry De Pon! ^^

I have been here three times since it opened so I think I have had enough of the 'experience' to review the place. I really like it. I am a sucker for value and this place has it. Fro-yo by weight including toppings. Compared to many of the high end places (e.g. Red Mango) this place is a bargain. The guys behind the counter are a little too enthusiastic and helpful but, hey would you rather have people who don't care?? I will try some of the other fare (food) next time I am there. Good luck to them.

Okay I finally tried this place out and have quite a love-hate relationship for it. Lets talk about the loves first: This place has all the flavors that cater to my tastes such as Taro & Lychee which most places don't carry around here unless your talking bubble tea but I LOVE the fro-yo version much more. My hates(dislikes) for this place: It may have been the way they laid it out but the fresh fruit selection seemed to be lacking...looked like there were only fresh strawberries and maybe kiwi? You would think since this place is catering to Asian taste buds it would carry more fresh fruits...especially mango. Instead there was plenty of bubble tea jellies and bubbles. Also while were on the topic of Asian taste....Sweet Red beans would be a good addition if were gonna keep up a theme here. Also the decor turned me off a little since there were a lot of features that were really nice such as the glass tile work around the yogurt machines yet the furniture looked straight up nail shop. Its like the interior design had a great start but was not executed with flimsy light fixtures and odd sofas. I think they were going for a yogurt lounge feel perhaps?? Great idea just needs some tweaking. Perhaps Im a yogurt snob but if this place just adds more fresh fruit to the toppings bar (blueberries, mangoes, pineapple, and a seasonal fruit), add a fresh coat of paint, new furnishings, fix the hanging lamps, not leave the yogurt cups in the plastic wraps, and a good floor scrubbing and this place will be perfect. Really not trying to bash this place cause I really liked the yogurt! just a few cosmetic changes to make this place feel complete and I'm sure it will reap the benefits with more customers.

Kids loved it! Hubby loved it! I loved it! Great Nonfat selection, great price, great staff. There is plenty of parking and the decor is really cute. The staff were so nice too. We have been to places similar to this out of state and always wished we had one closer. It is nice that everyone can choose their own flavors, size, and toppings. The flavors all tasted great, very flavorful not bland at all. We will be going back soon, very soon! They also change some of their flavors every few weeks, all the more reason to go back and try the new ones :)

Pro's: Cute, clean and nice employees. Great location off of Grady along with Uwajimaya, Starbucks, AppleBees and a good dry cleaning place I frequent. Cons: Overpriced. If you pay with your card and it doesn't already add up to $5.00 then they ask you if they can 'charge' your card a fee and offer you to go get more yogurt to atleast equal out to the 5 bucks they are charging EXCEPT that when I did this, I literally added all of another light dollop and I mean barely a teaspoon more and it kicked it up to $6.50. Felt a bit scammy to me. The other thing is they rotate their flavors only every 2 weeks. They make a very big deal to tell you about letting them know what kind of flavors you'd like to see and when I said "peanut butter" the girl said "um, don't know if we can do that one due to people having peanut allergies..." HUH? They have peanuts right on their toppings tray so I don't know why they can't serve a peanut butter Yogurt in atleast one of the machines during one week. The price and the fact that they don't rotate flavors more often to have a better variety keeps me from going back there more often.

    (3)
  • Amanda S.

  • Vince N.

Limited on flavors, but better than the other Froyo places in Renton. The location is a bit far from everything and it is tucked away in the corner of a strip mall. I like this place, its a go to when you crave a midnight sweet. There isn't enough seating here though, other than that I do enjoy the sweet treat.

  • Lilly C.

  • Sarah R.

Heads up, they do not have ice cream. The yogurt was disappointing at best. Will not be here again.

Thank you

  • Caitlin H.

No I'm not regular. Cherry is a very nice Frozen Yogurt Place which lets you chose your cup size to fit your appetite and budget. The staff are friendly and Yogurt was Good as the chain with M in its name but it costs about half the price. So I'm a Fan.

First yogurt place I've been to that weighs your selection. I'm usually a small portion kind of gal and feel ripped off by franchises. This place charges you for what you get. That's awesome. Great indoor space but even better outdoor seating for those warm summer nights.

  • Dana M.

came in here on a friday and two of their machines were down. I still love their flavors, but wish I didn't make the drive out for 4-6 different flavor selections.. one customer came in and walked right out because they didn't have very many choices... their lynnwood location has sooo many more selections...I wish the renton one was the same.

I almost gave this place a 5, but I have one complaint: I always find my new favorite flavor, and the next time I come here, they don't have it. However, they always have good flavors. The employees are nice and helpful. The prices are lower than some other frozen yogurt places.

A solid serve yourself froyo joint close to my new home. The flavors are pretty good and they have a nice asssortment of toppings. The price is not to shabby , a little better than Menchies in that department. We will likely be back when we have a froyo craving.

  • Cherene R.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! We've been fans since the opening and come here quite regularly! I think Cherry de Pon is on to something here - I think the constant change of flavors, with customers notified through Facebook, creates a sense of urgency to come in that day, because trust me ... YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS an opportunity for PUMPKIN! :) Selection of toppings is great (try the brownie pieces!), the store is clean, and the employees are AWESOME (Lynn, Bao, and Katie!)! I'm super excited for the owner, as she's opening up 3 more locations in the north end next month.

I really like the idea of self-serve fro-yo because sometimes even a small can be a lot for me. And I like that they switch up some of their flavors here and there, give you some options. The place is setup really cute and it's clean. The people that work there are really nice too. I've only purchased fro-yo here, but they do offer other things there as well. Price is pretty reasonable too, it goes by weight. The deal I see on their sandwiches seem pretty good, and I have a friend who has tried it and liked it also.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!! This is the cutest frozen yogurt place I've ever seen. The decor is so bright and Asian, it just makes you happy. lol The yogurt is AWESOME. Every flavor I've tried has actually tasted like what it's supposed to taste like. The red velvet actually tastes like red velvet. The cherry amaretto seriously tastes like an amaretto cookie. Taro is absolutely perfect in every way. I think I'm in love. You must go. Seriously. Best frozen yogurt ever!!!!!!

Cherry de Pon fro-yo makes me happy :) As one of those indecisive people who takes eons to decide because I want to try EVERYTHING, this place is perfect for me! A variety of yummy flavors (I know they're yummy because I tried almost all of them :P) to mix and match-and at 39 cents an oz, you can get as much as you want, or as little :) Their yogurt tastes similar to Utopia in the Uwajimaya food court, which I love, only it's better because you don't have to order set amounts and can get more than one flavor! They also have a great selection of toppings in their condiment bar to add on to your yogurt! My favorite is the mochi, but they also have a variety of fruits and other toppings (and even bubble tea jellies!) The place is super cute (cute as in a teenage Asian girl's Ikea bedroom) and the staff was super-friendly and helpful (quick to point out their 20% off grand opening discount, which I believe will still be going on for another week and a half!). They also have a limited snack menu with sandwiches, spring/summer rolls and such, which I'll definitely be back to try!

Been coming to Cherry de Pom for a while now and would like to say. I love coming there to get some frozen yogurt. But... They may need to add more places for people to sit. The past five times I been there was no where to sit. It might be just me but I would love them to put their music videos on shuffle. Atleast that way we have more variety in music then just striaght up english mvs or korean mvs. If they mixed them in a shuffle, it would be awesome. Yogurt is great! They won't change some flavors if they are popular! Topping do changes at times but I think buy fruit according to seasons. I've notice they had a ton of fruit during the summer. But fall and winter some disappeared. Atmosphere is cute and upbeat. Design seems alittle off, but its not that bad. Do love the tile work around the machines. Clean overall. Service. Everyone is very nice and greets everyone customer who enters. I've read on yelp that the employees kept bothering them about yogurt and services. Atleast they ask for your opinion about what you like to change it up sometimes. So don't get annoyed, they're trying to improve their establishment. Price is very cheap. Sure that they charge you alittle bit if its under five dollars, but its not much of a charge. Only a couple cents.

Hot on days, froyo is a healthier choice than eating ice cream or buying a Slurpee. We just had to go back! This time, I tried their original and I topped it with loads of their colorful mochi, fresh mangoes, colorful jellies, and even some boba! And we finally got to try out the comfortable seats. And what?! Take a picture to show up on your slideshow on your TVs as well as on your Facebook page? OKAY!

I tried the peach mango and original. The peach mango was just the right mix of sweet and sour. The original was perfect IMO...best original I've ever had. The only things I didn't like were the fruit toppings didn't seem too fresh so I only got a few "picked" strawberry pieces and the cash register area where you weigh, add the dry toppings and pay was so small you could barely take out your wallet and sign the receipt. The lady was very sweet, gave me a punch card and coupon for a new location, and thanked me for coming in which is pretty f'in rare these days.

My wife is a FroYo addict! We are here so often it's scary. The flavors are all delicious, the toppings are great and the staff very friendly and helpful. Had I reviewed this place a couple weeks ago it would have been a 5-Star Slam Dunk! In the last two weeks though it has become almost too popular. This is a good thing in many ways but bad in one very important way. They are so busy that they are struggling to keep things clean and garbages emptied. The last 3 times we have been in there is the very distinctive and very strong smell of sour yogurt (very similar to sour milk) and if the A/C is off (and usually is or not working too well) it gets a bit humid in there. Stuffy and stinky is bad, bad, bad.... Love the staff, love the goodies.... need to get the sour smell dealt with and fast!

Would eat here every meal if I could. I am a FroYo fanatic and the flavors and consistency are by far my favorite of any place I've tried. Except Taro ... root flavored yogurt? Oh well, to each his own.

The atmosphere is very sterile and minimalistic. I wish they had a few more chairs and tables. I like that you can mix and match the yogurt flavors, as well as decide on the portion side. I don't like a lot of toppings on my yogurt, so I am okay with what is offered.

Self service frozen yogurt joint, guess all the kids call it froyo or something along those lines. The have multiple flavors to choose from also noticed they have bubble tea and smoothies as well. Also can't beat the location since its' right next to Uwajimaya and Genki Sushi. Sorta reminds me of Yogurt Mama in Kaihlua.

Pineapple and coconut together are the best combo. Such a cute shop and their service was great! Its great that they do offer the sugar-free options as most of the other froyo shops do not have that option.

Yum! I've already filled one punch card! Great staff, I've enjoyed all the flavors so far along with the egg rolls and sandwiches. Looking forward to trying everything else on the menu. Definitely my new once a week treat...if not more :)

I wanted to love this place. It is near my house. I love the serve yourself your own yogurt concept. But... The yogurt was bland. To preface this, I will tell you that I think Yogurtland is great. If you don't like Yogurtland, this may be the place for you. I tried the cheesecake, chocolate, taro, pomegranate, and coconut flavors. The chocolate was decent, and I dug the pomegranate. The others bored me. They have 31 toppings, or said the girl behind the counter, who is probably the single most friendly yogurt saleperson on the planet. I chose some coconut to rev up the coconut flavor (didn't really help), and Oreos and chocolate syrup for the chocolate. Tasty. I put some granola on the taro. Didn't help there, either. But I tried. And I can say that I do have something to order when a group of my friends comes here (the aforementioned chocolate with goodies and pomegranate, which I suspect also may taste good with chocolate sauce). Otherwise, meh.

Obsession. This is my favorite place to go! They always have good flavors! Also, tons of toppings, and the inside couldn't be any cuter. Go, and you won't be disappointed!

I love Love LOVE Cherry de Pon. They are so friendly and the yogurt is yummy. Great value for the price. The only thing I don't like is that I can't eat it more!

They have 10 yogurt flavors to choose from! And it's self-serve so you can mix the flavors and make it your own creation! Very friendly atmosphere. My favorite is Taro with tapioca pearls! YUM!

I have a new addiction, and it's name is Cherry de pon. I have been twice in the last five days. You can comment with flavor requests on their facebook and they will ask you what day you would like to come in and taste it!!! So far I have tried cake batter, green tea, red velvet cake, carrot cake, coconut, blackberry, rocky road, and whopper! I did not care for the taro or lychee, but if that's your thing you will like it. What I really enjoy is that it is self serve, you don't have to pay a big extra charge just because you want sprinkles. How could you eat froyo without sprinkles??? It is a much better variety and value than Shnoo at the Landing. Cherry de pon also has about ten different sauces, and tons of toppings that I cannot even identify. Flavors rotate often. I will try to avoid their facebook as much as possible, the first time they offer mint, lemon or maybe white chocolate, I am a goner!

Cheap yogurt!! I always stop here after getting Genki sushi. I love all of their flavors and I love adding fruity pebbles at the end.

(Cali)
