Finally we get to try this place after have been around there many times for asian cake. It is a hidden gem. Love the food. We had papaya salad, tom yum soup, and basil seafood. Service was great and very friendly. We will be back :)

1 star for fast service 1 star for price ***The customer service was very hasty, I felt rushed to order my food. I ordered chicken Phad Thai. The spice was there but lacked flavor. I love Thai food but taste wise, this was one of the worst. Bai Tong next to Safeway is MUCH better!

One of my favorite lunch places. Started coming here 4 years ago on a business trip and now, even though my office has moved, I always make it a point to stop in everytime I'm in town. They always start off with delicious cup of egg drop soup. After that I usually go with the Red-Curry Chicken.

Ok for a lunch spot. Not even in the same league as Bai Tong across the street. Garlic delight was tasty, spring rolls mostly just lettuce, red curry ok, chicken larb unattractive visually and had glass noodles in it?? Decent for the price.

[Dine-In] My last dine-in experience here was mediocre -- not because of the service but because of the food. I'm not quite sure what happened but every time I took a bite, it felt like it was lacking a bit of something I couldn't put my finger on. Perhaps a pinch of salt? Not quite sure. But before I scratch my head too much, I really do like this place and perhaps it's just specific to the dishes I ordered. Service was fast and food came out quicker than expected. Our waitress was pleasantly nice and once again, patient with my terrible indecisiveness. Dishes ordered: Chicken skewers, Chicken Pad Kee Mao, and Shrimp Tom Yum Noodle Soup

Popped in here for a quick blood sugar crises...chicken satay and the shrimp fresh rolls were the perfect little cure that I needed. This place was really clean and the server was super sweet. Fast service and great prices. Can't wait to go for lunch or dinner.

Came here for lunch and had Yellow Curry. The curry was good, authentic to Thai taste. Will visit again!

Nice place. However, if you order a menu item that has veggies in it, DON'T EXPECT MUCH MEAT. Ordered The Rama, which was Chicken and spinach, and I received about 4 piece of chicken and a BUNCH of vegetables.

I went there for lunch today and had a terrible experience. The food was just ok and the service was very bad. The server came to take my order and while I was still speaking, she left to take a phone call. I went up to her to tell her my specifications, so she wouldn't mess up my order. When the food did not come after waiting for about 10 mins, I checked with her and the response I get is "You just order!" Really, in what world do you respond to your costumer in this manner?? In a world, where you want none of them to return, for sure!! In the end, she did not even come to get payment. I went to her at the front desk& paid, she did not even care to say "Sorry" for her not being able to attend / serve well nor did she Thank me. What an awfully, rude server for a restaurant operating in an intensely competitive, industry!!! I am never going back there & do not recommend this place to anyone unless you want to ruin your day!

This is one of the best thai places on the eastside. They have the best curries! Green curry has generous peices of eggplant. The panang curry is sweet and flavorful. The Rama Supreme of Swimming Rama is so tasty--the peanut sauce is like heaven; and you don't feel too bad eating all of it because it has spinach served with it. Also this palce always has room and the food is served extremely fast. Thanks so much for the great food!

The food smells and tastes burnt. Not very flavorful. Never coming here again. The reason this place highly rated is because there's a sign saying you get a discount for posting that you like the place.

This is my favorite Thai place in Bellevue. Way better than Bai Tong which is right across the street, much more authentic. Plus the staff is really sweet. Favorite dish is Tom Yum, good balance of sweet and sour. I will say that because it is authentic dishes tend to be more spicy so if you're a 3 star elsewhere I'd go with 2 stars here.

Ordered for a larger party for a company lunch meeting (about 20 people). Food was excellent, we had a variety of orders like Pad Kee Mao, Pad Thai, Larb, Pad See Ew, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and a variety of curries. All of the orders were on time and ready for pickup when we needed them. Everyone in the meeting enjoyed the food with nothing but good things to say about it. There's not much selection where our office is located so having something like this available to them that day was just what everyone wanted. They were also extremely accommodating to the different spice levels using the "stars" method. Highly recommend this place for large group orders - they also deliver for large orders as well.

I was delighted by the quality and presentation of the food. And then I got the bill and was even more delighted! I had the Swimming Rama with fried tofu. The vegetables were perfectly done, just a little crisp, and the dish wasn't 'swimming' in the peanut sauce. Just perfect and at a super reasonable price. The staff was very friendly. We're sure to return!

  • Kate M.

Ordered delivery and food came on time. (: Ordered two dishes with three and four stars for spice. Both dishes were maybe one star as far as spice goes. The chicken Pad Thai was extremely bland. The noodles were white indicating barely any sauce (peanut sauce) was added to the dish. There was barely any chicken in my dish as well. The best part was the on-time delivery and the Thai Iced Tea.

I love the lunch specials. Super inexpensive and it comes with soup and phad thai. They're always busy. If you're looking for a more exotic dish the habanero prawns are delicious.

The food and service is great. I have never waited for more than 10 mins to eat here. The Thai fried rice and the red curry are my favorite.

  • Willry T.

Great food; great presentation We ordered Pad See Iw, a seafood dish with curry, and another noodle dish, but with thinner noodles and all three dishes exceeded our expectations. Fast service as well Although small, the food does not disappoint.

Two stars for the puad kee mao service is super great. The food tasted like it was just str fried noodle with wonton seasoning. So not how the food suppose to taste.

During my time at UW, I was spoiled with a myriad of good (and CHEAP!) Thai options on the Ave, but sadly, the same cannot be said whilst in Bellevue. My former favorite Thai place (O'Char in Crossroads) started going downhill the last couple of times I've been, and left me hesitant to return. Luckily, when all hope was lost, my handy yelp app led me to Wanta! To be honest, I wasn't expecting much. I was far too accustomed to being disappointed by Thai places in Bellevue, and in the Eastside, pad thai is an especially tricky beast because you can get lucky with the authentic tamarind version, or end up with bright red ketchup-infused disaster, and the latter is far more likely around here. Anyway, I ordered a 5-star chicken pad thai to go, and when I opened the box, I was placated by the lack of flaming orange/red, and even more so after my first few bites. It was actually quite good! With yummy pad thai and very reasonable prices, Wanta will definitely be my new Thai place in Bellevue from now on! Hooray!

We had our first visit tonite and were pleasantly surprised by this little restaurant hidden away in a Redmond strip mall. None of that ketchup and vinegar in the phad thai - this was home made stuff and served with pride. We used an Entertainment book coupon with no problem. Both of us are looking forward to trying out their lunch specials...we clearly will be back!

This place is pretty new and has nice modern design. The chairs and tables are very clean too. Food is also great, considering such low price around Redmond / Bellevue area. We ordered Pad Thai and it was $7.95. Lunch specials are only $7.5 range. The portion is also reasonable. Food tastes not bad. I mean it's not excellent like, let say, Thai Tom, but it's good enough to be my regular Thai joint near work around 156th / Crossroad area. Note: if you check-in using Yelp or visit their website, they give you 10% discount (April 2013).

Came here because of the good reviews and ordered takeout. Will never come here again - their takeout portions are TINY and filled up half of a small 4"x4" takeout container! Food was good but not great. Also the lady at the counter kept looking over my shoulder to see if I filled out a yelp review yet when I asked her about the 5% off.

Had the chicken fried rice and enjoyed good food in a stylish, clean restaurant. Would return!

Decent place for Thai food. Came here with some friends and ordered panang curry with chicken, green beans with beef, pad thai with shrimp, and one of the trout entrees (deep fried with sweet and sour sauce--forgot the name of it). Everything was good, although this wouldn't be my first choice if I'm craving Thai food.

    (3)
  • Matthew F.

Pad Thai was spicy, hot and fresh. I ordered extra spicy and found it to be just right. Overall, I wanted the pad thai to be a bit sour as well, which I am used to, but for the price, there are no complaints. $7.95 for a good amount of tasty pad thai, what do you expect??

    (5)
  • W. D.

I ordered via Eat24. Order was supposed to be delivered in 60 minutes but took closer to 90. Then it was pretty much the worse Thai food ever. Spring rolls were so hard that I couldn't chew them. Thai Iced had very little milk so tasted like rancid iced coffee. Crispy chicken was over cooked and thrown over wilted lettuce. The Thai fried rice had absolutely no flavor. Overall a terrible meal. I was so hungry I ate it anyway. Hope I don't get food poisoning!

    (1)
  • Sandy L.

Re-visit this place the food tasted even better ! I can tell they used enough spice to bring up the flavor of the curry. The fried rice had great wok chi. Service was quick (great for lunch) and the place seems very clean than usual Asian restaurants

  • Amy C.

The lunch specials here are a terrific deal. For roughly $8, you get a lunch item with your choice of meat (chicken, pork, beef and tofu are all the same price. Prawns are $2 extra), white or brown rice, Pad Thai noodle and a soup of the day. I tried the spicy eggplant and red chicken curry. Both were delicious, though a little on the salty side. The pad thai was excellent and I like that brown rice doesn't cost any extra. The food is great, the restaurant is clean and the service is fast.

This place is pretty good. Since it is across the street from the local standard, Bai Tong, I will simply compare it. First plus, prices are significantly lower than BT. Most dishes here are about $8 as compared. to around $12 across the street. Food here is good... about 85% as good as BT. The portions are about 80% the size. The service is good. No servers in cocktail dresses or King of Siam uniforms here. Service is faster. Restaurant is actually cleaner. I liked this place, and it's a good alternative if you want to spend less. There is no full bar here, so be warned. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is that the food just isn't quite as good as BT... but again, it's really good.

  • S W.

If I could leave no stars I would.... The one star I guess is for the food being okay... SAT THROUGH MY WHOLE LUNCH WITHOUT BEING SERVED WATER..... Who does that? Great customer service? NO. I asked nicely FOUR TIMES for a glass of water and no results. Should I even have to ASK for water? NO. The lady passed by me multiple times without water. WAY TO NEGLECT YOUR PAYING CUSTOMERS. Extremely disappointed and disgusted by the people who work here. Real great business practices you've got here.....

I am a fan of Thai food and up until recently when in this area of Redmond I had gone to Bai Tong, which is pretty busy and also pretty fancy (my friends and I call it "fancythai". On a whim I decided to try Wanta because I was in a bit of a hurry and didn't want to wait for Bai Tong. This was a great decision. I have been here several times since that first trip and have found the staff to be friendly and the food to be delicious and authentic. My personal favorites have been: Red curry - creamy and spice, the meat is well cooked and the veggies still have that great al dente crunch to them. Green Papaya Salad - I am always a fan of this dish and they do it up right. A great amount of spice, the right mix of tangy to sweet to salty to fish sauce. A supurb dish. Their Phad Thai is good but not the best I have eaten. I don't know that I would choose it as my main dish in the future. The restaurant itself is comfortable and not too crowded during the lunch time which makes it great for getting a good meal and making it back to the office. If you are in the area I highly recommend skipping the long lines of Bai Tong and heading over to Wanta.

Mediocre Thai food at mediocre prices. Ordered crab stuffed wontons, papaya salad, sizzling plate beef, and phad thai. Crab stuffed wontons were fried, and more cream cheese then crab. But anything fried with creme cheese is delicious. Papaya salad.. seriously gave me a gag reflex. A nicer way to put it is that.. maybe a person with "acquired" tasted would appreciate such a dish. And thats coming from a person who loves almost everything. Entree's was alright, but was nothing memorable. Phad Thai was more sweet, but no ketchupy mix, which is a plus. Got everything 2 star, and that was quite hot already. So you won't be disappointed in the spice. I think the papaya salad ruined this restaurant for me :( You know when they say : Just one single bad thing, can over power all the good things. Wanta.. be careful.. you might want to reconsider having that papaya salad on your menu. And yay for pirq deals! Always allowing me to try new places :)

We ordered a green Thai curry and a sizzling beef. Both tasted great. The spicy level of 'hot' was perfect for us.

Great price? yep ( less than $10 per entree) Great service? yep (fast refill of water, came and checked on us, friendly when explaining the discount offered) Great decor? so-so (not as pretty as Bai Tong) This casual little Thai restaurant opened up a few months ago and we've been wanting to try it since. They give a 7% discount if you mention them on your fb account and can prove it when you pay, which is a neat little marketing trick. The prices are very reasonable especially for a Bellevue-based restaurant. Food was great, I had the pad kee mao and my fiancee the pad see ew. While some restaurants will have similar flavors for both, they had distinct flavors and also had a saucy kick of wok flavor/burn which I love but may not be for everyone. Overall a great little casual place, we will definitely be back to eat here! edit: i guess this is technically considered redmond, although just a block up the street the addresses are for bellevue!!!

  • Vikki C.

Compared to other Thai restaurants in the area (and mind you, there are A LOT...not that that is a bad thing ;)) Wanta has shown itself to me to be the most "homey" of the bunch. Perhaps it is because it is a family owned restaurant, but all the times I have been there, I get a sense of ease as though I am eating at home. The owners are always super friendly and the food is never too oily or too salty, which I like. Their green papaya salad is in particular very tasty as is their yellow curry fried rice. If you want a light meal much like home cooking while you are out and about I would highly recommend Wanta! :) It is a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. The decor is also very modern and cute so give it a try! I promise you won't be disappointed ;)

Nice family restaurant, clean and nice decor. Served quite well with smiles. Food is good and worth the price. Tried chicken satay, pad ke Mao, swimming Rama, coconut ice cream. Everything tasted good and I would definitely be back.

Great food. Tom yum goong is amazing. Perfect spice level as well. Panang curry is a must to try. The sizzling beef is also good.

Dinner for three. It is a place that's opened since last year christmas. My first time there, not a lot of people, but apparently they have jus remodeled. The interior design of their restaurant is really neat. Their Chicken Phad Thai (forgive me if I spelled it wrong) is really good and their Thai tea is a bit sweeter so if you don't like sweets, ask them to make it less sweet to your tasting! Other foods are okay, phad thai was the best, and the waitress was very nice as well as observant, tending to our needs.

One Of the newest Thai restaurant in town! Thought we try it out. Great decor, great food. Well be back for sure. =)

This is by far the best Thai restaurant I have found in the Bellevue/Redmond area. Its in a shopping mall area and kind of out of view from the street, but well worth it. The service was quick (well we were the only ones there at first since it was 5pm on a weeknight) and the food delicious. My husband and I ordered the crab wontons to start-delicious! And I got the Pad Thai and he got the Pad See Ew. Both delicious, good size portions and cheap ($7.95 for each entree!) I would go out on a limb and say it was the best Pad Thai I have had to date. Perfectly spicy too. If you check in to their restaurant on Facebook you can also get a 5% off coupon to use on your bill! The restaurant is clean and updated and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely go back if not for take out!

+ Modern-ish decor Food is decent, if not remarkable Usually not busy, so food arrives very quickly Reasonable prices for the Eastside - Terrible easy listening music blasting through the place Food taken away and boxed up when I was still eating "Hurry u

  • S K.

Any Thai place that gives me a runny nose and leaves a pleasant burn on my tongue makes me pretty happy. I didn't even have to resort to asking for 'really, really, burn your face off spicy'. The som tum could have been spicier, but it was crunchy and refreshing. Not a fan of the cucumber salad - too sweet for me. I do wish that the beef in the pad kee mao would have some hint of caramelization, but all in all, it's a decent joint to get my extra hot red curry fix. Will definitely order from here again. Delivery time was pretty good - about 40 minutes.

Delicious food. I love Pad Thai so much. The best I ever have.

Their Lunch specials are very well priced and they give you a ton of food. Their Red Chicken Curry is to die for. Comes with rice and Pad thai. Staff is very prompt and curtious. Very fast service and delicious food.

  • Sa Y.

Whenever I forget to eat or need to eat in a hurry, I come here. Close by my office and their pad thai and green curry and egg plants are the best I know. The restaurant is super clean and I get quick service. Note: Their Noodles are Fresh not dried. It's like eating fresh pasta not dried pasta. Their location is kind of funny, hard to find. But, if you know where the bank of america drive through is you know where it is. I think this place is better than Bai Tong. Cheaper and fresher and kinder.

I placed a large order for my office. Service was great, delivery was prompt and food was delicious. I realized after I ordered that though I meant to get phad kee mao I ordered the phad see ew which turned out to be totally okay because the phad see ew was great. So simple - tofu, broccoli, eggs, noodles and sauce, yet so tasty.

Decent! It's still not Rom Mai Thai on Capitol Hill, but I enjoyed their thai fried rice with tofu. They also have a home delivery option, which is nice!

This is my favorite Thai restaurant on the Eastside. We love the menu variety, and the great quality of the food. The spiciness isn't very consistent, but that is not so important to me.

  • James Z.

Wanta is one of Redmond's newer Thai restaurants near Sears. First impressions was the decor was pretty modern for a Thai restaurant. Ordered the fried crab, pad see ewe, and red curry. The appetizers were as the other reviewers noted, more cream than crab, but not bad. The pad see ewe was not bad, beef was slightly on the drier side, and red curry had a good portion as well. The only complaint was two small bowls of brown rice came out to $4. I admit, i'm not too much of a cheapskate, but was a little surprised that each bowl was $2, I could have asked, but then again, but both bowls were tiny, then again. I have could have checked in and redeemed the coupon, but I was thinking, redeem the coupon, and leave a tip? I didn't checkin, but did leave my regular tip, and here's one more - try looking around the competition, I understand the economy is tough, rent is high but when the competition is fierce, its the little things that count. :(

This place is off the hook. I have been eating 5 star Thai food for 25 years. I love, loved the special cashew chicken. The most tender chicken I have ever eaten at a Thai place. The sauce was the best I ever had, with tons of garlic. I always judge my Thai restaurants by the red curry and this was completely awesome. Again, the chicken was so tender and the sauce amazing. I loved the crab rangoon (wonton) and thought the amount of crab was completely fair for $6.95. Molly, the owner is amazing. My sister and I always add more vegetables to our dishes (which Bai Tong was unwilling to do) and she had no problem adding them for a little fee. I would whole heartedly recommend this place and plan to make it my new go-to Thai place. People who don't like this place just do not know Thai, in my opinion. They must just like Americanized Thai food. Susie

  • Steve L.

The food was decent and well presented. I was disappointed, however, by the level of service. It took about ten minutes to get our initial order of drinks and appetizers in for lunch. And when the food did arrive, we got one dish, then two more, than the last one, app separated by about three minutes while we're watching our food cool off. And it took a while to get my check processed. More attentiveness for tiem constraints of the lunch crowd would go a long way. I hoped to give a different Thai option in the area an opportunity, but came away disappointed by the service.

Food: Quality food in large portion Price: 7.90 for most of the regular Thai items, pretty reasonable Location: Redmond/Bellevue, few minutes away from 520 Service: Great Decoration: Comfortable Media: Fan page, facebook check in special, coupon.... you name it, they have it what more do you want from a Thai restaurant?

  • Lena K.

Great Thai food, and great prices. I came here with some coworkers the other day, and the food had a really fresh flavor. Better than a lot of Thai places, and compared to other places in Bellevue lunch was about $2 cheaper. The service was also very good, and the place is very nice inside. Looks like a pretty new place.

    (5)
  • Zheng L.

I ordered the red curry with shrimp, the price is not too expensive if you compare with the other Thai food, but the quality and size is so small, I can't believe it is a dinner menu. And it only comes with curry "soup" and with few shrimps, nothing else. I won't go there again even it is the nearest Thai cuisine near my place.

    (1)
  • Jack H.

party of 2 for lunch, while the price is cheap but the quality isn't so good. I've had better thai food really, and for the price you pay, I think you are actually getting less for the value. They just put a lot of carb (rice/noodle) and not much of the meat and vegetable.. you will feel full most likely, but that carbohydrate ain't my friend. don't think i'll come back again sorry.

    (3)
  • Stiana C.

Meets expectations all around. On this particular occasion I thought the portion could have been a bit bigger, but perhaps I was just extra-hungry that day. I ordered the Pad See Ew

  • Susie G.

Their lunch specials appear to be nice. I order the fried rice and it was good. The service was slow in the begining. Took them awhile to get my order. I also didn't want to wait for the check and had to go to the register to get it.

Nice red curry! And reasonable price for Thai food

    (5)
  • Tracy I.

I only will come here if they are on Pirq. If not, not worth it. The food is okay, not too much selection compared to other Thai restaurants in the area. The portions are also fair, but I suggest going down the street to Thai Chef or Thai Kitchen.

It is disappointing to go to Thai restaurand and they do not have a spice tray. Thier Pad Thai was pretty bland and did not have a full flavor.

This place is the only thai restaurant I will go to in Bellevue. So good, my boyfriend and I go here on a weekly basis. All the food is quality and the service has always been good.

We decided at the last minute to try Wanta instead of having Pho at couple doors down. We picked two very basic dishes, Red Curry Chicken and Thai Beef Salad. I liked the curry but my wife was not thrilled with either dish. She thought the Beef Salad had a fishy kind of taste and she didn't care for it much. I thought the lady serving was very pleasant and gave us really good service. We were pretty much the only people in the place during dinner and they must be much busier during lunch since they are very close to Microsoft campus.

Great food. We love their Pla Sam Rod and E Sarn Platter. Friendly service. Love the fact that we have a great Thai food near our home.

Worst swimming rama ever. Bland, not just as in "not spicy" but as in "flavorless". I won't be back.

Wanta is a nice place with excellent food and very reasonable prices (sub-$10 entrees). I've been there a few times and everything I've tried (Phad Thai, Phad Khi Mao, Tom Yum and Tom Kha soups) has been excellent. They don't use ketchup in their Phad Thai which is a welcome change from many Thai restaurants. The interior is clean and nicely decorated, I like the alternating color of the wood (laminate?) flooring. Overall a great addition to the Thai food scene.

Fast Service. Great Food. (Both red curry and green curry were great) Not Crowded. Great Location.

My mouth literally waters on my way to this place. I always get the panang curry and it is the best I have ever had. No other place compares. When I was taking night classes at Bellevue college I would stop here for dinner and the woman who worked there started remembering me and my order. She was super friendly and they are very fast and attentive. The place is clean and has a nice atmosphere. I wish I lived closer or had another excuse to drive all the way here ( I live in Maple valley). I'll be back, next time I'm in the area:)

I came here for lunch one day and it was basically Thai food done right as well as lunch done right. Plus, this place is fairly close to my home. What a winning combination! Even though I only had a lunch special, I'm now kind of curious to try what dinner items might be like at Wanta. Prices here are quite low; all the lunch specials are $7.50 except one that's $7.95 and one that's $8.50. I ordered a cashew chicken and got a bowl of soup as an appetizer pretty quickly. The entree was surprisingly large and consisted of stir-fried chicken with celery, onion, bell pepper, carrots, and cashew. Yum, cashew! What a great way to have lunch.

The food wasn't up to expected taste and seemed over-spiced. The seafood also seemed to smell weird. Prices were decent but I would not recommend this place on the basis of the taste in my experience. Some reviews for this place may over rate this place because a larger discount is given if good reviews are shown.

I had forgotten my wallet with my money and debit cards in Seattle, but I was hungry so I found Wanta Thai as a restaurant option so I placed a takeout order online through Living Social. I called them to verify they received my order and asked them if it was ok not to box the order cause we would rather eat in person. They were happy to oblige. This was my first visit there. I was excited to see cheap Thai food on the eastside, reminiscent of Thaiger room on the Ave. The ambiance was modern trendy peaceful green with glowing green lighting, plasticky jade green wall decor, and glass topped wooden tables and furniture. The waitress was very friendly and the food as ordered online came to us fairly quickly. The waitress asked us if we wanted water as well as our drinks and we said yes, but she forgot so we had to ask her for water mid meal. The food looked pretty good as it reached the table, but soon to be disappointed by the taste. We ordered Phad Thai tofu. It came with the standard red cabbage and julienne carrot garnish. The tofu was fried well, and the noodles were lemon citrusy but had no other flavor. It lacked depth with hoisin, peanut sauce, tamarind, fish sauce, soy sauce...The Yellow Curry beef-lacked CURRY flavor and the beef was very thin sliced and tasted as if it were boiled. The Fresh Rolls were good but just vegetables no filling inside. Their Tom Kha Ghai was disappointing - Only the overpowering smell and taste of shrimp paste. The smell and flavors of lemongrass, galanga, and cilantro were not to be found. I actually whispered to my daughter "I'm not really enjoying the food -at all." I keep thinking we had a replacement cook. Did the real chef have the day off? I've had really good cheap Thai food and would like to see improvement so i'd be able to say that this is the place to go for Thai on the Eastside, but as it stands now i'd say spend the dollar or two more on each dish at a different Thai restaurant where at least you know you'll love it.

Wanta has the most delicious food in Redmond. It's also some of the more authentic Thai food in the area. Try the Tom Ka Tofu soup. Unbelievable! The Pad Thai Tofu is also brilliant (I usually ask them to add extra mixed veggies to make it a full meal). It really hits the spot. Thank you, Wanta! You make me wanta eat Thai food for lunch once or twice a week, and luckily for me, your prices are good enough that I'm able to afford it.

Nice portions, fresh veggies, real salmon, plenty of garlic, honest spicing, legitimate pricing in this location. What's not to like?

It really is a shame this place is located so close to Bai Tong. Bai Tong is like the Blue C Sushi of Thai food where hoards of people would pay anything for mediocre and overpriced food in a dressed up environment. I sincerely hope more people come to Wanta Thai because their food is far superior than the "big dogs."

This is now my favorite Thai food restaurant in the Bellevue area and that's saying something because I LOVE Thai food! It just opened and it wasn't super busy but everything was very clean and had very friendly employees. The food was really good! I got 2 stars and it was a little spicy but still yummy. I would definitely recommend this place!
